A few years has passed now, and while Tahno tried not to base his opinion on tainted memories, Bolin made it hard not to be tempted into old habits. Tahno wanted to be tart with his tongue and sling out retorts - - -

There is a stern sigh and Tahno sitting back, spine against the seat as he tried to fight off the headache that was starting. He tapped the edge of his cup, the surface warming slender fingertips, and Tahno shot out a smart remark.

Bolin is about to do something stupid. Korra does not think this is a good idea.

Mako was still inside, leaving Korra and Bolin outside with the official police vehicle. "But if you're only a temp-job situation, isn't that considered stealing official property?" Even if it was just simply supposed to be a joy ride. Some few seconds pass by before they're met by the sudden sounds of two doors kicking open.

"Hey!" he calls from the door, already disgruntled, his shoulders stiff. "Bolin!" He calls out with the drawl in his tone, casual as ever, as he fails to address Bolin by his desired addressee title. Like he had time for semantics...

chief was up his ass today , he needed a place to hide. Thankfully , he knew the normal patrol routes that foot soldiers of the city needed to take , so he knew the perfect place to take a nap. Getting something to eat however , that was a different story , he wonders briefly what time it was , if he would have survived this long doing that mindless paperwork he has promised to do today. A silent thought leaves his head as he feels his knee tense up again , time to stand up he supposes -- But just as he’s about to , it seems like yet again , his body is not keen on him not resting properly and he falls forward , landing straight on his stomach , ( a new scrape to his face ) He’s just going to lay here , a thought of what a civilian would do if they came across a member of the police force in this form.

Usually, Kirra didn’t mind constructive criticism about her work as Avatar. Okay, she was learning how to deal with it, and she was doing it just fine, thank you very much. But that man… well, he didn’t have any constructive criticism to share. He was just being really rude and annoying, and honestly, she was starting to lose patience with him. She shouldn't, of course. He was just a very upset citizen about the vines growing in the city, which was very understandable. 

What he didn't understand though, was that she was doing everything she could to solve that problem. Korra would've tried to reason with him, if she hadn't been interrupted by Bolin. And she was very glad that he showed up at just the right moment. “That guy? No, he doesn't...” She sighed heavily, feeling very tired of all that. “okay, yes, he's bothering me, but you don't need to go talk to him or anything. We'd better not entertain him too much. Let's just get out of here.”

Plus. she's really close to her family, and even just moving to the next town over took her a really long time to come to terms with since everyone else in her family lived in a little village next to the town she now lives in. Her family even jokes that if they ever moved up north, they would all have to move because her family is a package deal.❞ A light laugh left her lips. ❝But maybe the United States purely for the dollar value. Everything is so pricey in Canada. Always have to do mental math when shopping on these digital screens. But if she moves, the family is coming too!❞
