Besties, my friends, my drinking buddies, the Snowjanus angst train got me good yesterday because of a really unique fanfic!😭

And now I can’t stop thinking about a very depressed and repressed prisoner!Coryo Snow.

Yes, you heard me! Prisoner. Coryo. Snow.

Also, Sejanus Plinth became a freaking D13 rebel (leader?) in this fic, and with his help, District 13 won the 2nd war, killed President Ravinstill, arrested a lot of people, and took control of the country (earlier than in canon).

And now, rebel leader!Sejanus has all the power, influence, and money (again) in the country!

Meanwhile, sad cabbage boy Coryo Snow is now rich boy Plinth’s official wife prisoner.

Yes, I’m not kidding. Coryo is now the official wife prisoner of Sejanus Plinth whether D13 likes it or not.

Think about it. Think about it! The Capitol drama! The angst! The confusion! The power imbalance!

The rebels are confused AF! The Districts are confused AF!

To sum it up, local rich rebel boy started the 2nd rebellion (earlier than in canon) so that he could imprison, date, and marry the craziest prettiest platinum blonde Head Gamemaker in the history of Panem. That’s it. That’s the story.

Sejanus: Question denied.

Rebel: Why can’t we execute the pretty blonde Head Gamemaker again?

Sejanus: Because he’s my wife.

Sejanus: Coryo is my wife!

Sejanus: He’s my prisoner! He’s my wife!

Coryo: *enters the scene wearing an expensive “kiss the cook” apron* So. . . Who wants tea?😀

Sejanus: My love!😍

Rebel: F*ck this. I’m going home.

I had a Rayfrog AU concept thingy.

Basically a Royal AU, Rayman is the adopted son of the King of Eden. One day there's a ball and Bullfrog, still an assassin, comes in undercover and wearing a mask because lowkey wanted criminal. His mission is to gather intel and, if possible, kill someone, anyone, from the royal family. Once Rayman enters Bullfrog instandly comes to him to chat and they share a dance. Afterwards Bullfrog slips away and snoops through the castle. Or at least he tried to because as soon as he looks through one drawer Rayman catches him. In a moment of panic where he cant come up with anything to save himself he kisses Rayman out of impulse and pulls him into another dance. Each time Rayman tries to speak up Bullfrog either flusters him or kisses him. Eventually they end up in the garden under the moonlight. They're alone. Bullfrog would have the perfect oppertunity to kill Rayman, his dagger easily reachable, but he somehow cant. His mind is racing and racing and racing until Rayman kisses him and pulls him into a tight hug, leaving Bluefrog torn on what to do and therefore he ends up doing nothing. He leaves quickly after that.

As he reports back, ashamed and angry with himself that he let this oppertunity go to waste and also failed the mission in every possible way, his mentor punishes him but this also gives him an idea. The prince seems interested in Bullfrog and the honey trap is already set. This can be used. So from now on Bullfrog pretends to be Raymans lover, all with an alias and always masking his identity obviously, to gather intel as discreetly as possible. Bullfrogs feelings are genuine but there's no way he'd ever betray the brotherhood because of his feelings for the prince so he keeps it at the level he can handle himself whilst also letting himself induldge the lie ever so slightly.

Bullfrog also uses this to disillusion Rayman, physically dragging him to the places that suffer through the King's reign, like the slums, and showing how much the people over all suffer. Rayman is horrified by this revelation, not having been aware of any of it. He was rather sheltered, only giving speeches written and instructed by his father every now and then, but he wasn't allowed outside. Each time he'd meet with Bullfrog was him sneaking out or Bullfrog sneaking in. Then, and only then, Bullfrog fully decides to trust him. He speaks with his mentor and brings Rayman to meet with him, revealing himself properly as they arrive at the meeting spot. The mentor speaks to Rayman and ends up turning him into the brotherhood's rat. Rayman has it easiest to gather intel. The perfect inside job.

Introduction

After being kicked out of his home due to a scandal, demigod Rosaspina has lived in Inbury, a small village located on a mountain employing himself as a witch and solving his fellow villagers daily problems.

Until Chaos banged on his door and asked him to be a Minister, someone that incarnates the will of the deity they chose to obey. She tasks him a mission: find the missing Death... And maybe take down one of his own kind.

General Info

Genre: High fantasy

Status: 90% Of the first draft done.

Setting: 1815, completely invented new planet, still called Earth though. No, I didn't draw a map.

Themes: Loss, forgiveness, love, acceptance, betrayal.

Other features: Blind (and incredibly anxious) MC, regency vibes, lying and selfish deities, hard magic system, was supposed to be a retelling of the sleeping beauty but it's anything like it.

I'm planning to edit and run it on Royal Roads in January 2024. There is no guarantee because I have a lot on my plate (job, family,house... Probably university too), but I will do my best.

For me writing is a hobby and I don't plan to be a "real author". If I'm going to have enough disposable income I will get it professionally edited - but considering my IRL expenses at the moment is more of a no than a yes. (As I'm also going to have eye surgery, ironically - and it's probably on me.)

I loved it! It was such a great alternative timeline. I liked that WY got to really grow up happy and appreciated in his second lifetime. ❤️ What a wonderful story!

Wu Ming laughs, placing a fond hand on Wu Ying’s head. “My son has always wanted to grow potatoes for some reason. I’m not sure why.” He turns to He Fai, explaining, “we always tend to grow radishes and other such crops that can survive cold temperatures. Harsh winters have been hitting this part of Tingshan in recent years, but potatoes are more sensitive to freezing temperatures.”

“Every problem has a solution! That’s what A-Niang says,” Wu Ying responds stubbornly.

He Fai watches the exchange with a quirked eyebrow, smiling at Wu Ying’s bold response.

“If the young master ever grows potatoes, I will be the first to buy them,” He Fai declares, watching Wu Ying’s eyes widen.

The young boy grins at the cultivator, before declaring, “Mark your words!”

Wu Ming scolds him for his cheek, but He Fai just laughs, leaving with a spring in his step. Wu Ying takes it all as a personal challenge.

“Ah, gongzi, this is my creation,” Wu Ying says, smiling neutrally as the villager gives him a look of relief. He bows low, just like how his shifu taught him, and then gets up.

The cultivator in purple and his handful of followers are staring at him. Some of them have their jaws dropped, as if in disbelief.

For a second, Wu Ying wonders if he’s offended the sect, broken some principle that he wasn’t aware of, and thinks that maybe he’ll have to leave Ezhou earlier than he planned. Then, the cultivator at the head of the group finally speaks.

“You… you’re…” he chokes out hoarsely, perplexing Wu Ying even more.

Even so, He Nuan has instilled enough of a sense of propriety within him to respond patiently.

“This humble one is Wu Ying, gongzi.” He wonders if he should bow again, but refrains from doing so.

In the end, one of the purple-clad disciples steps forward and introduces the man. “Wu gongzi, we are disciples of Yunmeng Jiang. Allow me to introduce our sect leader, Jiang-zongzhu.”

Summary:

Wei Wuxian’s stomach drops as he sees Wen Ning reel his arm backwards, aimed straight for his shijie’s husband.

His body moves before he can think about it. In an instant, he pushes Jin Zixuan out of the way, into safety.

A soft gasp is punched from him, as Wen Ning’s fist runs straight through his abdomen.

Wei Wuxian thinks that beyond the pain, it’s ironic how hollow he feels. He never thought he could feel more empty than when he lost his golden core, but it seems that having a gaping hole cut through him could do the trick.
