I'm honestly the proudest and luckiest mother in the world, not only is it my birthday, but it's my son's birthday as well!! We're sharing his second birthday!!! I'm so emotional right now!!
I was all caught up and chugging along with blog posts in a timely manner, and then my birthday crept up on me, along with a trip to see my mom and a stop at LEGOLAND and now here we are a week later with no new posts and a giant to-do list.
Hard to believe we are in the last week of September with Halloween looming in the very near future. I have NO idea what we are dressing up as either. It’s…

Now don’t get him wrong, Danny was delighted at the idea of Jordan making a friend, he really was. But the last three attempts had been borderline kidnappings, so he wasn’t entirely sure if he should be. Thankfully it doesn’t seem he’s kidnapped this one. Hopefully.
Not that he wouldn’t be surprised if Dan managed to kidnap a tiny kryptonian, but the kid- Jon apparently- seemed happy enough to be there. Apparently his grandparents lived in the midwest too, and was happy enough to have someone to talk about it.
Though um, maybe Danny should have checked to see if his parents knew where he’d gone, because he was not expecting a harried-looking superman to suddenly appear at his window.
Today I celebrated the first part of my mom's 65th birthday today at a Mexican restaurant with my sister. Tomorrow we may go to a casino to celebrate the second half of her birthday.
As you can see, in the photo is me with my siblings Jason and Brittany with our mom, which was originally taken in 2011.
i think that in small tightknit communities, all residents should receive a coupon book on their bday that allows them to commit [x] number of nonviolent crimes per year
you know the amazing genre of absolutely fucked up hedgehog cakes. like the most insane nightmare fuel you can imagine. well, my mom has been making a cake and saying she will decorate it like a hedgehog. so obviously i decided to show her some of the images bc theyre objectively the funniest shit on the internet. she loved it.
this is what was waiting for me the next day when i came back from work:
SHE MADE HER OWN FUCKED UP HEDGEHOG CAKE. and she was so sad she had to improvise with the nuts for decorating like "damn clown, i wish i had some of those sugar teeth decorations so itd look more messed up :(" like no, mom, its. its perfect
Imagine having kids with your fave and they come out looking exactly like him. You can't help but smile at the irony that you were the one who carried them for 9 months just for the only shared quality they received from you was your hair type.
Him on the other hand is a smug bastard at the fact that they look just like him. He can't help but rub it in, always going on and on about how cute they are since they share the same looks. Though only joking since he's already plotting on getting you pregnant again, hopeful that this time the baby will be your twin.
What he doesn't expect but cant say he's surprised about is that once they get older the kids are just as obsessed with you as he is. As they say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
Your kids always want to be right next to you and constantly argue over when you will play with them on the switch that you and your husband bought for christmas. They cutely created a minecraft world where they would leave you little notes written in the caves they would explore.
He never gets jealous though, how could he, he's the one that made them this way. All the little habits he has concerning you do not go unnoticed. Instead he found that he unconsciously passed them down to his kids.
Everyday is like clockwork. As soon as he gets home from a busy day he'll greet everyone then make his way over to you and snuggle up against you while recalling his day. The kids follow in his footsteps doing the same after getting picked up from school. Immediately they go on to chatter to you about their day and what they did on the playground, giving you all the details that cannot be missed. While with him sometimes he considered it like playing 20 questions trying to get some information out of them.
He cant complain though especially since he wouldn't change it for anything.
