There was a week of disputes over who would host the wedding. The Sainz wanted it to be them, for the wedding to be in Spain, but Lando wanted his little sister to get married on his grounds.
A wedding hosted by the Sainz family would be incredible. Set in the sun with a candle lit dinner to follow. Lights would be strung up over the reception and the best food would be served. Traditional Spanish dishes, and anything Y/N requested.
Carlos’ mother had been planning the wedding since Y/N’s mother first proposed the idea to the Sainz family. She had a scrap book full of ideas for the flower arrangements, the venue, the dress. She’d seen it all play out in her head, her Carlos standing there in a suit, looking handsome as he recited off his vowels.
But Lando was insisting the wedding happen in England. But Lando didn’t know the first thing about planning a wedding.
So, he had to concede. Reluctantly he let the Sainz family take control of planning the wedding. It was going to happen in Spain, with very few members of the Norris family present. That was putting Lando on Edge more than anything. He couldn’t have much protection there for him or his sister, leaving him to trust in the Sainz family.
And, in this line of work, you don’t trust easy.
While Y/N was in England, she did the one thing she could do for the wedding and picked out her dress. It was elegant, figure hugging, with floral patterns stitched into the skirt. There were two straps that went around her arms, sitting off the shoulders.
Her veil hadn’t yet been made. Mrs Sainz had insisted that the veil be left up to her, that she would have it made for her.
So, Y/N and Lando sat on their family’s private plane, her leg bouncing. Lando had a drink in his hands, cool and relaxed. But, inside, he was losing it.
His little sister was getting married. In just a few weeks, she was going to be married. Lando and Oscar, a rookie in his organisation, and Y/N were the only people flying to Spain for the time being. Oscar was to be left in Spain with Y/N, there to protect her while Lando flew back to England until the wedding.
He wasn’t keen on leaving his sister in Spain. But he didn’t have much of a choice. The Sainz were giving him much of a choice.
The plane touched down in the Sainz’s private hangar. Carlos was waiting for them, his sisters and a group of their men behind him. he wore black trousers and a white shirt, missing the suit jacket and tie that Y/N expected to see. She watched them out of the window of the plane; she looked at Spain, at the sun and the palm trees.
Y/N had always wanted to go to Sain. She had when she was very little, before the feud with the Sainz family started, but she couldn’t remember that.
“Ready?” Lando asked, putting his drink down. He’d had maybe six on the short plane journey, which was worrying to Y/N. Thank God this line of work had raised his tolerance to such a level; the whisky barely affected him anymore.
He didn’t stumble as he stepped off of his jet, his sister stood between him and Oscar. Y/N’s legs were wobbling as she stepped down onto the warm pavement. She stayed close to Lando as he led her over to Carlos.
Carlos said nothing to Lando. He looked past him, at the girl who seemed to be cowering behind him. He gave her a smile, one that was either kind or sinister, Y/N couldn’t tell. “Welcome to my home,” he said with a thick accent.
Y/N said nothing in response. She looked up at Carlos with wide eyes, waiting for somebody to say something more.
“Carlos,” said Lando, his stance protective in front of Y/N. “You wanted her here early, so here she is.” He glared daggers at the older man in front of him.
Behind Carlos, one of his sisters mumbled something in Spanish, something Lando and Y/N couldn’t understand.
“Who is the man behind the both of you?” Carlos asked for her, looking past them at Oscar.
Oscar had never been around the Sainz family before. He didn’t go to the last meeting with Lando, and he wasn’t there when Carlos and his father came to dinner. Oscar didn’t know what to expect. He wasn’t Lando’s first choice of protection for his sister, but he was the man Y/N was most comfortable with.
“Protection,” Lando answered shortly.
Carlos let out a laugh. “Your sister will not need protection in my house,” he answered.
“I’ll decide that, thanks.”
Things were incredibly tense. Y/N couldn’t help but glance back at Oscar, something that didn’t go unnoticed by Carlos. He cleared his throat. “Come,” he said and walked away, his sisters behind him.
Lando kept his hands in his pockets as he followed Carlos. Y/N and Oscar walked behind him, Carlos’ men surrounding them. Sparing a glance behind him, Oscar stayed close to Y/N, almost close enough to touch. It was almost his way of saying ‘you’ll be okay, I’ve got you.’
There were several cars waiting for them. Y/N, Lando, Carlos, Oscar and one of Carlos’ men got into one and everybody else spread themselves out between the others. Things were quiet as they drove away from the plane hangar. Y/N kept her gaze staring out of the windows.
They drove through the Spanish countryside, passing by fields full of horses and orange groves. There were quaint houses dotted about and mountains in the background.
And then there was nothing. Y/N looked forwards, at what they were approaching.
Huge black gates blocked the view of the house. The first car pulled up in front of the gates and said something into the little black box attached to it. And then the gates swung open. “Wow,” Y/N found herself whispering as they pulled up in front of the house.
It was gorgeous, with a huge fountain in front. The cars parked around the fountain and several men rushed forward to pull open the doors. Y/N stepped out, with Oscar behind her, and looked at the house.
It was massive, unlike anything Y/N had ever seen before. She thought her house was massive, but this was twice the size. There were stone steps leading up to a set of rounded, double doors. The house at had least four floors and the two rooms on either end of the house had huge balconies overlooking the front of the house.
One man rushed forward to push open the front door, but, with nothing more than a raise of his hand, Carlos stopped him. He wore a smug grin of his own as he walked up the steps and pushed open the door.
“Welcome to my home,” he said and held out his hand for Y/N to take.
She was nervous, not meeting his gaze. Y/N didn’t want to put her hand in his. She looked at her brother, but, from the look he was giving her, Y/N knew she had to. So, she placed her hand into Carlos’ and allowed him to lead her into the foyer.
The floor was white marble, with a compass in the middle. Above the compass was a brilliant chandelier. Against the left wall and winding up was a grand staircase, white with black railings. Y/N looked forward, where the compass pointed north. There were a set of doors and past those doors was a brilliant garden.
Y/N let go of Carlos’ hands and strode forward. Some of his men went to move forward, to direct her back towards him, but Carlos held up his hand once more, stopping them in their tracks. He watched as Y/N walked over to the set of doors, made entirely of glass. She twisted the handles down and pushed open the doors.
She stepped out into the garden, onto the patio. The patio floor was smooth stone. To the left there was a large table surrounded by incredibly comfy looking chairs. The table was surrounded by foliage, flowers and shrubbery, it was beautiful. An umbrella was up, shading the little area.
To Y/N’s right was a fire pit. A low stone wall that doubled as a seating area formed a small circle around the fire pit, with cushions covering the seats.
Directly in front of her was a pool. The patio went directly into stairs that led down into the square shaped pool. Plants and trees, some baring fruit, some not, surrounded the patio area. Behind the patio was a grass area. No, not a grass area, but a golfing green.
Y/N turned back to the house, looking at the people stood in the foyer. She didn’t know what to say, if she could bring herself to say something to Carlos.
At their dinner he had been polite, sweet, even. But he’d shown just how powerful he was.
Y/N walked back inside. She left the doors open as she joined her brother back in the foyer. “This place is crazy, Lan,” she whispered.
With the room silent, everybody heard it. But they didn’t acknowledge it.
Carlos sent some of his men to take Y/N’s, Lando’s and Oscar’s things to their rooms while he slowed them the entirety of the house. “Can’t believe this is your place,” Lando muttered, his hands shoved into his pockets as Carlos took them into the kitchen. He still remembered the little Spanish boy who he used to play with while their parents did business. And now Carlos lived in a literally castle while Lando still lived in his father’s house.
“So, it’s yours? Not your family’s?” Asked Oscar.
All three of them stared at him. Oscar’s job was to be seen, not heard. “Osc,” Y/N squeaked as she stared at him, her eyes wide. Yes, she wanted to know the answer to the question, but she didn’t want to see her only friend die for asking it.
Carlos cleared his throat. “Yes, this is my home,” he said, not giving away anymore information. He turned his attention to Y/N. “My men will show you to your room while I talk to your brother,” he said and two men strode forward, away from the walls.
They said nothing as they escorted Y/N and Oscar away.
Pulling open his fridge, Carlos pulled out two beers. He opened them and walked outside, sitting himself at the table by the pool. Lando followed. Spain was hot, as it usually was, and he found himself pulling off his suit jacket. Lando placed it on the back of his chair and sat opposite Carlos, who passed him the beer.
“You know I am not keen on one of your men staying in my house, Lando,” he said and sipped his beer.
Lando swallowed the lump in his throat. “I know how it looks,” he began. “Oscar is young. He’s good at what he does, but he doesn’t know the etiquette yet. I would have brought somebody more experienced in this line of work, but Y/N is comfortable with him.”
“She will learn to be comfortable with me.”
“Carlos,” Lando practically growled. His beer remained untouched. “She’s not like us. You can’t ask her to just be comfortable with you.” His expression softened. “Please, Carlos. If I could stay here with her, I would. Please, let Oscar stay, for her sake.”
Carlos sipped his beer.

twelve - alessia russo
Tumblr media
Alessia Mia Teresa Russo. Your love. You had been ‘married’ to her since you were twelve. Oblivious at this point to the fact you two would actually stay together for the rest of your lives. You had gotten married in the school yard and had been practically married ever since.
However with the eleven years you had been together the topic of actually marrying the blonde had never come up between you two. So when she got down on one knee on a beach in Italy after a midnight swim you had never been more shocked. You fell down onto your own knees and let out a small “yes” with tears pooling in your eyes as pull her into you for a searing kiss.
The next few months were a frenzy of her training harder than you had ever seen and you trying to figure out ideas for your wedding. Your fiancé had tried to help you but due to the training times and matches she just didnt have the time so you both agreed to put it off until after the euros. You watched every single match screaming for your girlfriend while surrounded by her family.
Once England won she finally came home. You had missed your beauty deeply over the past month. Yes you got to see her a few days over the time for a few hours but it wasnt the same in your home without the woman in your arms. You both quickly got to work deciding on venues, dates and and sending out invitations for the wedding. You both agreed that you didnt want to see eachothers dresses until the big day so you could have a traditional first look moment.
She chose Tooney to be her maid of honour and a few of the other girls to be her bridesmaids and you chose your best friend, Lilly Anderson to be your maid of honour and two of your other friends to be bridesmaids. The wedding was set for the seventh of March 2023. The date you would soon cherish for the rest of your life.
6th march ‘23
You woke up in the arms of your, not for much longer, fiancé. You had your head resting the the crook of her neck while her arms were around your waist holding you as close as physically possible to her. “Good morning la mia vita.” your lessi whispers into your hair once she feels you start to stir awake. You push yourself up on your hands so you can look at her “morning baby.” you cup her cheeks and press a gentle kiss to her lips. The two of you spend the day wrapped up in eachothers arms. Lessi packs a bag to bring to the hotel she would be staying in that night with Ella. You would also be having the reception there the next night.
Ella comes over to your house so she can drive the blonde girl there so they can spend the night away. Alessia spends about ten minutes hugging you, sprinkling your face with kisses and telling you how much she will miss you and how excited she is to get married to you in less than twenty four hours. Ella has to practically pry the blonde off you to give you a hug and whisper a reassuring “ill mind her tonight dont worry.” into your ear. “Thank you” you mutter to the brunette girl. “Alright cmon less we actually have to leave now.” Ella groans to the girl who was approaching you once again. “I know, I know. Just go to the car and ill be there in a minute Tooney.” She says while her arms cross over her chest facing the brunette. “Fine. No funny business though. Save that for tomorrow night.” She laughs and sends a wink to you while Alessia rolls her eyes at her best friends insinuation. “Bye Ella see you tomorrow.” you shout after the girl as she starts for the door. Once Alessia hears the door close she wraps you up in her arms again picking you up. “Im going to miss you so much.” she lets out emotion evident in her voice. “I know. Ill miss you so much my love.” You place a kiss to her nose. “I cant wait to marry you, i dont think you relaise how excited i am. I would rather die than not marry you tomorrow.” she says half joking. “Ok less you never know what could happen tomorrow dont start wishing death on yourself. My heart cant take it.” You jump out of her arms while grabbing her hand to lead her to the door so Tooney isnt left alone in her car for too long. “Goodbye and goodnight my love.” you say while pulling her into you for a hug. “Dont act like were not going to be updating eachother on everything we do.” she mumbles into the top of your head, your familiar shampoo invading her senses. Less pulls away from you and with a few more kisses and goodbyes she left you in the apartment waiting for your bridesmaids to come over and spend the night with you.
Soon enough your three friends lilly, amanda and sophie knock on the door seconds before barging in impatiently. You spend the night eating food and just spending some much needed time with your closest friends. You all decided to have an early night as the next day would be extremely tiring, so you were all tucked away in your beds at half ten.
y/n: hi baby i miss you so much what i would do yo be cuddled up with you right now x
Lessi: hi amore i miss you so much too x
y/n: did you millie and ella have fun tonight? x
Lessi: yes we had so much fun ill tell you all about it when i see you again x
y/n: cant wait my love i need to go to bed now 🙁
Lessi: oh yes do i dont want to have to deal with a grouchy y/n all day! 🤣
y/n: oh shush you
y/n: goodnight less cant wait for tomorrow x
Lessi: i dont want to wait another second
Lessi: goodnight mi ragazza
You woke up the next day to three girls yelling at you to get up as you had slept in too late. This made you jump out of bed abd scramble around looking to see what time it was, half eight. “Wait what were late? I thought we didn’t have to leave here until ten. Fuck.” You yell out to the girls who were watching you look for all the things you would need for the day ahead of you. “Ok y/n calm down, were not actually late you just kept telling us to fuck off and that you were too tired to get up so we decided to ensure you would get out of bed this time.” Lilly says looking between you and the other two girls that were trying to supress their laughs. “i hate you guys so much.” you state to the girls who at this point we’re laughing at you to your face.
Suddenly you become deaf to the girls in your room laughter and it finally hits you. You are marring Alesia Russo today. Not the Alessia that won the euros, not the Alessia that is everyone’s favorite striker, your lessi. The girl that comes home and demands hugs and kissses, the girl that whispers sweet nothings into your skin as she places kisses down your body, the girl who you dance with in the kitchen to anything that is on the radio. Your girl. This thought hits you like a bus as you start to feel tears start to fall down your cheeks. “y/n? What’s wrong?” one of the girls start looking around worried as they approach you for a hug. “I told you guys we shouldn’t wake her up like that, we all already know what she is like.” Lilly starts scolding the girls on your behalf. “No it’s not that. I just can’t believe i’m actually going to get married today.” you say while wiping your eyes on your jumper. Sophie sticks her tongue out to the ever so slightly older girl who was just defending you as if her life had depended on it.
The three girls forget about their little spat and embrace you in a group hug. You all pull away and Lilly starts ordering the other two girls to pack different into your bag as she leads you downstairs to have breakfast. Pancakes. You and alessia both coincidentally had pancakes the morning of your wedding when you were tweve so you decided to make it a two time tradition.
Once you had packed your bags and all your dresses were in the two cars you started on the half an hour drive to the hotel. You were with Sophie, who was driving, and you both were softly muttering the words to whatever was on the radio into the otherwise comfortable silence. Sophie could read you like a book and she knew that right now you didnt need her talking your ear so she opted to just sit in silence trying to ignore her growing discomfort to keep yours.
When you arrive Lilly and amanda are standing outside waiting for you looking around nervously. “y/n about time oh my god come on!” Amanda says impatiently dragging you with her leaving lilly and sophie to bring everything with them. “Amanda what are you doing? We dont have anywhere to be right now.” you say scowling at the girl who dragged you through the entire hotel ignoring your many protests. “Alessia almost saw you.” she lightly says her shy nature coming out after you slightly raise your voice at her. “Oh, thank you mand. Im so sorry.” You wrap your arms around your younger friend hoping to make her feel more comfortable as she was fairly sensitive.
The makup artist and hairdressers soon made their way up to your room to start on you and your three bridesmaids. All the girls were soon ready and were just sitting around the room keeping you laughing to help kee your mind off the day ahead as they knew you were very nervous. Once you were ready all of the girls wanted you to have a first look at yourself with your hair, makeup and dress on.
Lilly helps you get into your dress and Sophie puts on your heels for you. You took a step away from the three girls who were all looking at you beaming. “Do i look alright?” you question the girls who then bounded at you wrapping you up in their arms. “You look so pretty.” One of the three mumbles quietly as they all untangle their limbs from eachother to pull away from you. Once you were free from their hug you were told to close your eyes so you could have your first look at yourself, and sure enough the second you saw yourself in the long white dress, hair resting perfectly and your makeup accentuating your features beautifully you were choking back tears at your own reflection. Once again finding yourself seeking comfort in your friends arms. After your makeup gets touched up again, after your small breakdown. Your mother and brother come into the room to wish you luck and to tell you they love you, which ended in more tears from all of you.
Soon enough you found yourself in the elevator listening to your friends speak about something you couldnt wrap your head around as your thoughts had been completely taken over by the blonde, who you were yet to see. You were actually going to marry her today.
When got to the lobby of the hotel you were greeted with hugs from Ella and Millie. “Less is in the car now so you need to wait.” Millie rushes out to make sure you two dont see eachother. “Ok thank you. bye!” You quickly say while the two girls start to make their way out of the hotel to getting into the car that would bring them to the church, Alessia followed behind them with her father and her brother driving them.
Once you got there you quickly made your way into the church that was decorated with a litany of different flowers. All elegantly placed throughout the church. The bridesmaids, or the first walk down the aisle. Alessia followed them with her father, and then it was you. You would walk alone.
After Alessia made her way down the aisle, you were escorted into the church as quick as possible. You were handed your bouquet of flowers by your wedding planner, who had helped immensely throughout this time. She also ensured that you looked okay, and that your address lay flat. After about thirty seconds of waiting she whispered in your ear that it was time for you to go.
A soft tune started from the piano at the front of the church. You took your first step into the room to see every eye on you, but the only ones you saw were your very own italian beauties. She was standing at the front, looking at you. With what could only be described as being the most beautiful smile you’ve ever seen gracing her lips. You felt as if you were floating on your wall, your heartbeat grew by the second, deaf to any sound around you. She mutters “Oh my God” under her breath once she locks eyes with you.
Once you make it up onto the altar you instinctively grab a hold of her hands dropping the bouquet behind you. “Hi. You look beautiful.” she breathes out putting you into a hug. “You are so gorgeous my love” you say into her chest. “You may be seated.” You hear alessias brother Luca say as he was the officiant of the wedding. “thank guests for bearing witness to the union of Alessia Russo and Y/n Y/l/n” The rest of the ceremony is a blur to you until you hear less clear her throat and start her vows. “Y/n. My y/n. Never did i think when i was twelve that we would be here. Having gotten married to you all those years ago was the best decision i have ever made because if i didnt i wouldnt get to be here today. Every day I am honoured with the privilege of being the first person you see every morning and the last person you see every night. There’s not a minute that goes by that I don’t think how lucky I am to get to call you mine. Every hug. Every kiss. Every touch. Feels like the first. I’m so grateful for your love so thank you for spoiling me with it every day. I love you so dearly and there’s no one else in this universe that I would rather call mine. Sei la mia vita.” The blonde is looking intently into your eyes and only you can see the few tears glossing them over. “I love you.” You whisper to the girl in front of you placing one of your hands on her cheek gently caressing it. “My lessi. My beautiful less. You are my world. If i could relive every moment i have shared with you i would do it in a heartbeat. I would rather have my worst day with you than my best with anyone else. You make me a better person and have changed my life. You are my best friend and there is no one else i would rather dance around the kitchen to an italian song with or watch scream at the television because of a football match. Most people would expect that when we moved to our apartment and the only furniture we had was a mattress in our sitting room that we would get sick of eachother but those few days where we only had eachother and that matress was when i realised there was no one else that could ever make me feel this way. My heart actually hurts sometimes with how much i love you. You cheer me up on my worst days and there has never been a moment where i have felt unsupported by you. You are my entire world. I love you more than life itself. Thank you for letting me love you.”
Tears are now falling down your face as your voice cracks because of the love you feel for the blonde standing infront of you. “I love you lessi.” you whisper between tears. The ceremony continues and you arw aksed to place the ring onto alessias finger. You take her hand in yours and slip the ring onto her nimble finger with a kiss to her hand. Luca then tells her to put the ring on your finger, she picks up the ring smiling down at it lightly and slides it down your finger and kisses on top of it lightly. “By the power invested in me, i now pronounce you wife and wife. You may kiss your bride.”
Alessia looks at you smiling her ears starting to turn pink suddenly hyper aware of all the eyes on on the both of you. Your arms go to wrap around her neck as her snake around your waist pulling you close to her. Her perfume invading your senses. Her lips gently touch yours as her grip tightens on your waist. She kiss her back with a passion that almost shocks her. She kisses you back as she leans you back a to deepen the kiss more. She pulls you back up as you both pull away smiling up at eachother. “Im so happy. I love you so much less.” you smile while pulling her in for a hug. “I love you, Mrs Russo.” she mumbles into your hair laughing slightly.
You finally felt whole. Ready to spend the rest of your life with your love.

Harry inhaled a deep, full breath of saltwater air.
The night was in full swing, and, really, Percy had outdone himself. Harry had no idea Ron’s brother was such a natural at decor, but he truly had an eye for it. When Hermione entered the hall earlier to take in the anticipated damage, it took a good fifteen minutes to help coax her jaw off the floor.
Though, in her defence, Harry supposed it was rather important that the bride-to-be loved her wedding venue.
When Ron finally popped the question, and it was time to get into the nitty-gritty of planning, he and Hermione couldn’t sit down and settle on a colour palette to save their lives. For starters, Hermione never had enough time. Harry thought she was far too busy as Head of the Department of International Magical Co-operation to even get married. And he’d seen her one too many times hunched over a two-way parchment, no doubt responding to countless questions or confirmation of approvals for tens (Harry wouldn’t dare flirt with the idea of hundreds) of documents while getting ready this morning.
On the other hand, Ron wasn’t too pressed, which was quite a shock considering his no less prominent position as Head Auror. When Harry questioned why that was, Ron had simply shrugged and confessed to putting a twenty-four-hour block on all owls and Ministry correspondence. He’d looked Harry dead in the eye and said, “It’s my damn wedding, mate. I’m marrying the woman of my dreams—no emergency is important enough. Not today.” And, well, Harry could hardly blame him for that.
Still, the intricacies of wedding planning were something that definitely seemed to elude both of Harry’s very bright, very in-love friends. Hermione had gone as far as to ask if pink was a poor choice in colour because, “Well… Pink is a cheesy romantic colour… right?” But when pressed to pick a shade, she nearly drove herself to an early grave sifting through swatches. Needless to say, Harry never wanted to see another shade of pink ever again.
Ron seemed baffled by the idea of weddings needing colour to begin with, “Isn’t everything meant to be white?”
When Percy had overheard that comment halfway through the floo, he stepped right back out of it, threw his robe on the Burrow table, and promptly declared that he would be the one to oversee Hermione and Ron’s wedding arrangements.
This led to the tasteful shades of navy blue, ivory, and gold all throughout the carefully selected venue. The building sat on a charming little border coast in a shared wizarding sect of England and Wales. Its interior had ample space for more than a few tables, each thoughtfully adorned with magical flowers that shook every so often to release a soft shimmer in the air and all the accompanying tableware to hint at a fine meal planned. Throughout the day, the airy floor-to-ceiling windows and welcoming French doors (that led out to a beautiful patio similarly decorated and had a spectacular ocean view) had ample light shining into the venue. And now that night had come, the soft glow of bluebell flames and their warm amber counterparts lit an all too inviting path out to the sandy shore.
Harry had been standing in the sand, watching Ron and Hermione laugh and clumsily sway back ‘n forth, her head pressed against his, when a sudden weight on Harry’s shoulder made him flinch.
Harry turned only to come face to face with someone he’d never met. But that hadn’t been unusual today. Harry was accidentally designated the bride and groom’s bloodhound. If you found Harry, you found Ron and Hermione. He seemed to have a keen sense of where they were at all times, and word spread quickly. As the evening was slowly but surely ending, and people were determined to wish well and congratulate the happy couple for a final time, Harry was in high demand.
He wouldn’t lie, it was a little awkward meeting so many new people. Hermione and Ron may be Harry’s best friends, but they certainly didn’t share his content with just having each other. They were social butterflies in a way Harry would never entirely be, and Merlin, it was impressive. He’d thought Bill and Fleur’s wedding was big.
So, the unknown face was expected; what wasn’t expected was what the unknown face said, “Mr Potter. It’s a pleasure to finally make your acquaintance. Ms Granger has told me a great deal about you, and though she intended to introduce us earlier, I couldn’t bring myself to disrupt her happy day.”
“It’s Granger-Weasley, now.” Harry couldn’t help himself; a slight grin tugged at his face. He had been waiting for today just as long, after all, and he’d be damned if he wasn’t going to milk it for all it’s worth.
Mr Unknown hadn’t thought to introduce himself, though he clearly knew Harry well enough to pick him out of a crowd. The man had a classically handsome face, with the most ridiculously charming swooping curl of hair that hung just so over his forehead and warm mahogany eyes that glowed like dying—wow, how many glasses of champagne did Harry have today?
Harry continued, “And um, I’m sorry. Please don’t take this the wrong way. I have no idea who you are,” and immediately regretted it. Way to go, scarhead; you’ve just blown this to hell and back.
But Mr Unknown didn’t storm off all offended and pretentious like his pretty face and careful words implied he might. Instead, he simply laughed (and damn, it was a nice laugh) and said, “Of course, Ms Granger-Weasley. And that’s quite all right; she mentioned that you weren’t very involved in Ministry affairs.” Mr still Unknown held out his hand, “My name is Tom Riddle, Senior Undersecretary to the Minister.”
Harry’s brows inched up and up until he was sure they’d left his face and were floating to join the stars. He switched his drink to his other hand and carefully took Riddle’s, despairing at the cold touch he no doubt passed from the chilled champagne glass.
Tom Riddle. Hermione had mentioned him more times than Harry could count. Sometimes in angry mutters under her breath, but more often as a person she strongly thought Harry should become acquainted with. Something about similar backgrounds and similar odd senses of humour and, “Really, Harry. I have eyes. He’s goddamn good-looking, and I think you two are a perfect match.”
However, Harry was nothing if not stubborn and did his damnedest to avoid a dreaded introduction at all costs. He wasn’t looking for a relationship.
Right?
Suddenly, Harry couldn’t quite remember.
“Yes, yeah, Undersecretary Riddle.” Harry nodded, maybe a little too fast, “A pleasure. Hermione has mentioned you. I didn’t know you two were close?”
Actually… Harry used his every last sober brain cells—brain cell—to think. They weren’t close, he was pretty sure, and it was odd that Hermione would invite a random (let’s be honest, coworker) to her wedding. Especially one she didn’t necessarily have a great working relationship with.
Harry remembered how strict she was with picking invites for colleagues versus friends and family. She had developed a very efficient system of columns and rows from people I work with and would like to have in attendance to people I work with that need an invitation for politically advantageous reasons all the way to people I work with, who, if I see at my wedding, there will be blood. Harry thought it was pretty solid. And Tom Riddle hadn’t made any of the lists, last he checked.
Then it dawned on Harry that Riddle’s missing name was most likely intentional. He had been bamboozled. If Hermione weren’t looking the happiest he’d ever seen her (and that included her absolutely ecstatic reaction to her N.E.W.T.s), Harry would tackle her to the ground in an all-out brawl. Muggle style.
“We’ve had an accommodating and understanding working relationship over the years,” Riddle responded. And Harry knew enough political jargon translation to hear that we barely tolerate each other, but somehow a grudging respect remains, loud and clear. “I certainly hope good words were exchanged.”
Good words? Harry wanted to cry. If good words were a desperate attempt to get Harry into Riddle’s pants, then, yes, good words—great words, even—were exchanged.
Harry downed a bit more champagne for his suddenly parched and dry throat, “Well, you know Hermione.” His laughter was a touch strained, “When she gets started, it’s a full-on report. Everything from a to z.” Oh no… “Hope she didn’t say anything too embarrassing about me.”
Riddle nodded with an air of wry understanding, “Yes. Rest assured; Ms Granger-Weasley did not give me your entire life story.” Harry couldn’t believe Riddle was going to continue saying Hermione’s name like that, but hearing it gave him a warm and fuzzy feeling. “I have wanted to meet you for quite some time. Outside of just her influence.”
What? Harry thought.
So, “What?” Harry said.
Riddle’s eyes widened for a moment, and he blinked once as though caught off guard by himself. Which, Harry thought, was pretty unfair because no one should be more caught off guard than Harry right now. Riddle quickly corrected his slip and diligently started to backpedal his way out of what he’d just said, “What I mean by that is, I’ve been a long-time fan- admir- or, I suppose, supporter. Of yours.”
Riddle was not doing a very good job explaining himself. And, Harry had a feeling, judging by the flustered fluttering of Riddle’s now rapidly blinking eyelashes, that Riddle wasn’t too used to not explaining himself well. He continued, “Not in any untoward way, of course. Merely, your research into Death and its adjacent forms, magic or otherwise, and your published findings in the scientific journals as well as your extensive work into broadening wixen understanding of Defensive Magic along with your tenure as Hogwarts’ Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor are astoundingly impressive.”
By the end of Riddle’s explanation, he’s nearly panting and out of breath. Hell, Harry’s breathless too, but probably for different reasons.
Not too many people acknowledged Harry’s…odd hobbies. But, honestly, it was kind of nice. Everyone hated to talk about Death and its use in magic and how it generally affected wixen at large. The only people he could happily pull into a conversation about it were the Unspeakables in the Death Chamber, but even then, it was a small pool to pick from. And Harry didn’t get access to Level Nine often.
Don’t get him wrong, people reached out to Harry regarding his Defense work, and that was all fine and well, but it was his job. Mostly. Yeah, he put in a few extra hours, and he did like his job, of course, but Death magic was definitely his passion project. So as much as he enjoyed talking shop about Defense, the pure excitement he felt delving into his other known pursuit was unparalleled.
He managed a small “Oh,” before a shout of his name pulled his attention.
“Harry! Mate! Come over here and help me throw my wife into the ocean!” Ron yelled out, laughing and holding Hermione by the waist as she desperately tried to break out of his grip.
“Harry James Potter, if you even dare—“ Hermione broke her threat with a started scream when Ron picked her up and spun her in a dizzying circle.
Harry sighed and shook his head, a smile wide and pleased taking over his face. His eyes strayed back to Riddle, who was watching him with rapt attention. “Mr Potter, you are understandably occupied. It is an important day for your friends and family, and I wouldn’t want to keep you,” Riddle didn’t seem like he meant that. He looked like he didn’t care at all about the day or time or place or anything. Harry felt himself turning red at the realisation that he wouldn’t mind spending the remainder of the night talking with the very handsome Undersecretary Tom Riddle, either.
“However, I’d like to continue our conversation if you’re amenable. Perhaps you’d allow me to owl you...,” Riddle suggested, trailing off deliberately.
Harry was nodding before Riddle was even done speaking. “Absolutely,” Harry said, “Please do.”
Riddle’s answering smile could hang the moon and the sun and all the other stars. “It’s settled, then. Have a pleasant evening, Mr Potter. And please give my regards to the bride and groom.”
Harry stuttered his way through a similar goodbye and watched Riddle return inside the venue and meander to the designated apparition point. Harry caught himself sighing wistfully and wanted someone to slap him. What was he doing acting like a love-sick teenager for a man he’d just met?
Hermione’s giggle in his ear warned him with enough time not to flinch as her head gently rested against his shoulder. Her arm slipped around his waist as Ron appeared at his other side and copied the gesture around Harry’s back. Ron’s head knocked Harry’s own as the three of them settled into a familiar hug.
“Soo, Harry,” Hermione started. She was clearly drunker than ever, but her brain was still sharp as a tack. “That was totally Senior Undersecretary to the Minister of Magic, Tom Marvolo Riddle, that you were chatting to for an awfully long time. Anything you wish to share with the class?”
Ron made a confused sound, “Wait. That was Riddle? Bloody hell, I hardly recognised him without that stick up his ass.” Ron sounded significantly less drunk, and Harry was nearly impressed.
Hermione scoffed delightedly, “Ron! You can’t say that about the Senior Undersecretary to the Minister of Magic, Tom Marvolo Riddle; the sand has ears, shhh.”
“Guys,” Harry sighed, “He was just being nice because you—“ Harry side-eyed Hermione’s far too innocent face, “forced him to chat me up and have been an absolute menace about getting us together for ages now.”
“Sue me for trying to get you an advantageous match, Harry.”
“This isn’t the eighteen hundreds, and you aren’t my ma’-ma set on finding me a diamond of the first water, Hermione.”
“What’s a diamond of the first water?”
“He means a hot debutant ready to be wed, Ron; keep up.” Poor Ron had never looked more confused. “And I know, Harry, but you’ve just spoken with him, right? So you’ve gotta see what I’ve been saying after all…” Hermione swung her free arm up and down in a sort of squiggly line, “that.”
Harry hated that she was absolutely right. And he wouldn’t have ever believed her before actually meeting Riddle like this. But, “Like I said, he’s just being nice. He offered to owl me. But I doubt he’ll follow through.” There was no chance in hell that someone with Riddle’s face and Riddle’s connections and Riddle’s position in the ministry would seriously be interested in someone like Harry.
Hermione lifted her head and looked at Harry very deliberately. She slowly combed over his expression, lingered on his eyes for a while, and frowned, “You really think that.”
Ron moved and patted Harry on the back. “Listen, mate. I don’t know anything about water diamonds or debutants or whatever it is that you two are going on about with Riddle,” He started walking into the venue backwards, arms held out wide as he continued, “But! I do know that whoever you were standing over here and talking with was not the notorious ministry hardass to the Minister. That bloke definitely had the hots for you.”
Hermione whooped, “That’s my husband!” And as soon as the words left her mouth, Ron’s eyes got all soft and watery like they did during the big reveal, the ceremony, the ring exchange, the magical vow, the—like they did all day, really. She trailed after him, and they walked back in together, their broad smiles lighting up the night far brighter than any of the bell flames.
Harry chuckled to himself as he followed them in. Who cared about anything else right now? All that mattered was his two best friends, happy, hand in hand, glowing like stars in the sky.
He’d worry about Riddle tomorrow.

oooookkaaaayyyyyyy you’ve convinced me i’ll post houndprice wedding content (no one asked) 💒💘
starting off with what we already know. gaz helped pick out the ring and price proposed
i think he went for the classic wine and dine proposal route - either he took hound out for a very expensive dinner and proposed with candles and dessert and flowers and even more wine at home afterwards OR he simply did the whole nine yards at home bc there is No Chance of a public proposal from this man. he’s not that guy. just a bonus that it’s an easy access ravishing after they say yes
the rest of the 141 and laswell and her wife are of course invited + the many other friends made during service both together and apart. price figures he’s doing this once and he’s doing it right so it ends up a pretty big wedding
the venue is the little chapel down the road from where price grew up, in fact the same one he attended from a young age
hound’s one concession is an english wedding since they’ve already made price move to ireland. he would’ve done the whole thing there if they asked. they know this and chose england anyway. (he loves them so much.)
hound wears white and their granddad walks them down the aisle, price wears a deep navy tailored tux with gaz as his best man
price cries when he sees hound start down the aisle, and he sniffles through his vows. hound laughs and cries equally during theirs, which had to be edited heavily by laswell beforehand to remove most (but not all) of the dog puns
price cannot resist dipping hound for a dramatic kiss at the altar. what can he say? he’s an old fashioned romantic at heart. the mood is only slightly killed by ghost’s wolf whistle from the front pews
soap cries during his toast at the reception. the microphone has to be wrestled from hound’s granddad when his toast goes off the rails and he starts giving out about those bleedin’ brits. hound does not help matters by shouting free the north! to egg him on…
hound insists on twirling price during the first dance, and he patiently tolerates their nonsense. it’s all worth it when he gets to watch them spin soap and gaz and ghost around the dance floor later
there are plenty of beautiful staged photographs on the day, but price’s favorite is one the photographer snuck of hound lighting his cigar for him in a quiet moment away from the crowds of the reception. it’s the one he keeps framed on his office desk

ALRIGHT ILL GIVE YOU THE WHOLE TLDR this started when my friends moved to mornings. The two people I am closest to at work are my friends Sophia and Rachel and they are both directors at my store while I am just a manager. So ALREADY I'm jealous because they get to go to all these director's meetings together, and then they both move to mornings and not only does that suck because they get to see each other all the time and I see them maybe twice a week BUT THEY LEFT ME WITH ALL THE GUY MANAGERS So one of the guy managers I have spoken of before is Ben. And he is the one that I now work with the most. I used to be kinda close with him while he was dating one of the other managers but we kinda waned out of friendship after something happened on one of my leading shifts (it was not deep.)
We will remember Ben as the Capricorn I work with who broke up with his girlfriend because of a conversation he had with our boss about how she is not the kind of girl he wants to spend the rest of his life with (as she had been going to parties a lot???) and then he broke up with her at work right after her shift and as he started his and then he had sexual relations with a FRESHLY 18-year-old girl that he had been doing one-on-ones with for work while he was still sleeping with his now ex-girlfriend and she found out because she went through his watch text messages at work
DRAMA RIGHT AND I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE THINKING, brie he is a terrible person
mhm. So. he is a pretty good friend to have. He is very funny, and is easy to make fun of and he's actually pretty supportive. Working with him all of the time I have gotten closer to him. I used to go to the gym with him and my other coworker Blake but when all the aforementioned stuff happened I stopped. Anyways we all started seeing each other at the gym again and THEN my coworkers Nam and Blake moved to the same apartment 'neighborhood' as me. I joked with them that I would be at their apartment all the time cause we live so close
I've always been kinda friends with Nam since we both like anime and we're the same age, but we aren't actually that close. Anyways Blake was having his birthday party at Nam's apartment and I got myself invited because I am annoying :) And the people there are Daniel, Blake, Nam, and Ben. Somehow, that turned into this group of people hanging out EVERY tuesday. I left my sweatshirt and Nam's apartment on Blake's birthday and so everytime Nam saw me he would loudly be like WHEN ARE YOU COMING BACK TO GET YOUR SWEATSHIRT (as if we had fucked and I like it there... humiliating) so I start getting invited to hang out with the group which has extended to adding Minnie, Cassidy, my friend Justin, my coworker Aaron and his friend Kellen.
This is a WEIRD group of people and my friend Rachel does get jealous pretty easily. They both HEAVILY judge me for my friendship with Ben (fair) and they really judged me when I told them about the hangout so I didn't show up like two weeks in a row but for some reason they always text me and call me if I don't show up so I've started going anyways
Rachel doesn't react to my bereals if Ben is in them
So Rachel had taken over the schedule and on the very few times that I got to see her I would joke that she purposely moved herself to mornings cause she doesn't want to work with me. Anyways I am mean when I joke. I know this. I tell people this because I'm really insecure about it because I'm so "nice" all the time no one believes me and then I hurt someone's feelings and I want to cry. So anyways she started crying because of these jokes and she said she felt like I was mad at her.
I wasn't but I also was a little because also we were supposed to hang out with some other friends Emilee, and Chelsea and my friend Dawn and Emilee said she couldn't hangout that day and they planned to hang out then anyways without even trying to find a different day that would work. That's shitty. And then she said that she just really wanted to hammer down a day because she had been trying to plan this since august but like that was just bullshit it was the ONE day Emilee couldn't hang out she just didn't try hard enough and didn't even care that she was leaving Emilee out of it.
SO I was really stressed cause I didn't know how to tell them I thought that was really shitty. And also during ALL of this I am really really depressed. I don't want to talk to anyone, every single shift I worked I would cry because it was so hard and then I ran out of my anxiety meds so I was having panic attacks every single shift.
Anyways Rachel tells me I'm mean, she cries, I cry and then try to ice them out because I don't want to cry and make it all about myself. I have a cute breakdown.
It's really confusing to have this weird group of friends who really want to hang out with me and then Rachel and Sophia who want to hang out with me but also know that Rachel is mad at me. And it's really stressful to remember that if I talk about the people I am hanging out with the most and who seem to want to talk to me the most then my other friends will be mad at me. But if I don't hang out with that weird group of friends I will be so lonely because the only other person that I want to talk to all the time is busy and I am definitely smothering them cause I'm so fucking annoying
So, also I have no one to talk to about work. Rachel and Sophia don't work with the people I work with. I complain about everything if I can and also when I complain about things that Ben do they immediately get him in trouble for it by dragging our store operator into things when they aren't that serious and I am already dogging on him for it so now it's like if I complain about ben it gets back to him and one of these days he is going to be mad at me for it
I always say I can't complain about things because there are always consequences so I stopped complaining about things at work and Rachel and Sophia get mad at me for not talking about work things because we basically don't talk like at all.
However case and point, I told them ages ago that I wanted to learn interviews and they pretended to be excited about it and I mentioned it to them more than once and then a month later they are training James. Not me. So I ask Rachel oh is James learning interviews as if I didn't want to immediately start sobbing upon seeing it. And she immediately said some shit about brittni (our bosses wife) wanting to make sure I wasn't too stressed with school. I ASKED TO LEARN INTERVIEWS. WHY WOULD I ASK IF I WOULD BE TOO STRESSED ABOUT IT BECAUSE OF SCHOOL.
so I complain about it in passing to Blake and my boss over hears that I am upset about something but I don't tell him because I am being a baby right. Well my boss follows up with blake and blake tells him the truth and then my boss thinks that I am upset at him over it. Which I'm not. my boss didn't know I wanted to do interviews. So after our cute little "you should have asked me" chat I cried and then because of that I think rachel got in trouble because I immediately got scheduled to learn interviews.
I DONT WANT TO DO IT NOW. I complained and now everyone things I'm a fucking cry baby. which I am.
and i just. am so greatful for the friends I have but I'm miserable everyday and people are mad at me cause I don't talk about my feelings anymore and I don't even know what they think I just can;t do anything without upsetting anyone.
I don't know. I just really need a therapist but no one will get back to me so I'm just stuck with a dumb psychiatrist who things higher doses of sedative medicine will cure my anxiety and thus minimalize my depression. Whatever. I just hate being a cry baby and being so mad at myself for being a cry baby and then having people tell me how nice and great I am, like I'm not you know what i mean? AND YOU SEE WHAT I MEAN narcissist. Oh boohoo a bunch of people want your attention and want to hang out with you that's so hard. And then on top of that I have to reject a 32-year-old anime coworker who hasn't even asked me out yet.
AND THAT IS WHY IT IS FAIR THEY ARE MAD AT ME and why I should choose not to be friends with my weird group of friends and why I am stressed about it every day sigh
ALSO PRY AWAY again I am such a baby narcissist I love talking about myself sigh

Playing Cupid (chapter 9)
And finally a new unedited chapter. I'm sorry it took so long. The edited version of this one will be posted on ao3 tomorrow. I'm determined to finally finish this so expect updates every 2 weeks from now on. I don't know how many chapters are left but things are finally happening with gastina in this chapter. Also, at the end I was inspired by a certain creddie scene in the icarly revival so if you've seen the last episode of the show, you might recognize it. Luna and Matteo have been building their lives together slowly. Fresh out of college, they’re planning their future. But by planning this, they have an underlying plan no one knows of. Bringing their best friends together after 4 years of not being happy without the other. How well will their plan of playing Cupid work?

Chapter 9: A Bump in the Road
This was a bad idea, Nina knew it but she had to go through with it. She promised Luna to spend the day finishing up the details for the wedding. Gastón would help and that's the part that made her the most nervous.
They decided to meet at the Jam & Roller. Being in a public place might make this meeting less nerve-wracking. Plus, Luna was closeby, training for the next skating competition with the team. If they needed help with anything, she could be here soon.
"Hey, sorry, I'm late. I was discussing some details with Matteo about the duet we're doing," Gastón said in a way of greeting.
"I heard about that, Luna said Matteo was very excited about this," Nina answered, "He's really happy you're back."
"Me too, I have to admit that I missed Buenos Aires. England isn't quite the same," Gastón said quietly.
Nina smiled and answered: "I imagine so."
Gastón felt the awkwardness and changed the subject even though he wanted to say so much more.
"So what do we have to do today?" he asked.
"Well, Luna and Matteo have everything booked and sorted out. We just need to check that the things they ordered will be delivered on time," she said as she looked through all the papers with all the orders on them, "We have to make some phone calls then."
Gastón nodded in answer and said: "Sounds easy enough. What's their wedding date again? I want to make sure I get it right."
"It's exactly 4 weeks from now," Nina looked down at the date.
"Then we better hope everything is okay because arranging anything on such short notice would be impossible."
"Let's get started then."
That's what they did, for the next few hours, they make phone call after phone call. Nina was relieved to know that everything was going smoothly so far. With something else to focus on, there wasn't any awkwardness between them. But sooner or later, they'll have to have a serious talk.
***
"Are you sure this is true?," Gastón asked the lady on the phone.
"I'm afraid so, the venue was destroyed by a heavy storm. We can't repair it in time," the owner of the venue answered patiently.
"Is there any alternative?" he asked a little panicked and turned around to look at Nina to show how he felt.
"If there is, I'm afraid you need to find it yourself. We have to put all our resources in the repair of the venue."
"Alright, we'll have to find something then, thank you," he answered, disappointed.
"What's wrong?" Nina asked, clearly in panic.
"We have to find a new venue," he sighed. Feeling hopeless this problem will be solved.
***
"Finding a new venue on such short notice is going to be impossible. We're never going to find the perfect place again. How on earth will we pull this off when we don't even have time to breathe until the wedding?" Luna said exasperated, pacing back and forth in the locker room.
Nina and Gastón stood near the counter, looking worriedly at their friend while Matteo is rubbing his neck. He clearly didn't like seeing his fiancée in distress.
He gently took her hand when she waved with them and pulled her in for a hug.
"I know this wedding is stressfull, chica delivery. It doesn't help the skating competition is close but just take a breath. We can solve this, I just need you to calm down," Matteo said while rubbing her back in soothing circles.
Her shoulder fell at his words and she started to relax.
"Okay, we can do this. No worries, it's going to be fine," Luna said to no one in particular.
"Listen, you don't have to worry, okay? Gastón and I will take care of this. We'll find the perfect venue for you. We're your best friends, we know you two well enough to know where you'd like to get married. Leave it up to us to find a better location," Nina interrupted. Wanting to help her friends as much as possible.
"We will do this?" Gastón said surprised.
"Yes, we will. We can definitely do this," she answered confidently.
Luna leaves Matteo's arms to give Nina a bone crushing hug and said: "Thank you so much, Nina. That means the world to us."
When they pull apart, Matteo lays a hand around her waist and said: "Yes, thank you. I know we made the right choice when we chose you to be in the wedding."
"I don't want you to regret it," Nina just said with a shy smile.
Gastón didn't answer, he just stood there frozen. Looking for a venue for a wedding could imply so much. It could bring his feelings to the surface due to all the romance that comes with wedding shopping. This day isn't going to be as easy as he thought.
"We should get started as soon as possible, I'll go get my computer to check out some locations," Nina said, "Gastón, are you coming?"
She looked up at him and he just nodded. She was waiting for him to come.
"Do you mind if I talk to Gastón first?" Matteo interrupted and put a hand on his best friend's shoulder.
"Sure, I'll get started without you then," Nina answered and left the room.
"I should meet up with the team to discuss some things," Luna excused herself and left the room as well.
"Are you sure you're okay with doing this? You'll be spending a lot of time with Nina this way," Matteo asked.
"I am. Of course I'm nervous about this, I know my feelings will surface but that just might be the push I need to really talk to Nina," Gastón said, confident.
"If you're sure, I trust you know what you're doing," Matteo said with a smile, "I should get back to Luna, make sure she's okay."
***
"Okay, so we have a few location sightings lined up for today. It wasn't easy to find many locations available that day but I think we managed just fine," Nina said, looking down at the list of venues they made together.
"It's mostly because of you. We wouldn't have found so many without you," Gastón smiled at her.
Nina looked down, trying to hide her blush.
"We should get started right away," it was all she said.
So they did, they planned to visit 5 locations today and they couldn't find a good one until they arrived to the last one. It was next to the Japanese garden that Luna and Matteo knew all too well.
"This was one became available at the last minute," Gastón said while looking around.
They had a great view of the stream with the red bridge over it.
Nina looked around in awe and said: "This looks beautiful."
"Yeah, it's magical," he said while looking at Nina.
"I can already see it. Right here," she said as she stepped near the edge of the grass the place where the best view of the stream is, "Matteo and Luna should say 'I do' right here. It's a perfect place. I can already see it. It would complete the circle."
"Yeah, it couldn't be more perfect," he smiled at her enthusiasm.
"Imagine this...," she said and took his hand so he could stand right in front of her.
He was surprised by her sudden touch and felt the warmth radiating of off her. He reluctantly let go and put both his hands in his pockets to avoid giving in to his want to touch her again.
"The bride and groom standing here, face to face. Both radiating with happiness. It would be so romantic. They'll start their life together right here. Matteo saying I never expected to fall for you, you came out of nowhere. Then Luna would say she can't wait to spend the rest of her life with him," she said with a faraway look on her face.
Gastón could do nothing but stare at her. While saying all of this, he was imagining them standing here. Her walking down the aisle.
When Nina opened her eyes, she saw him staring right at her and she said breathless: "Isn't that romantic?"
"It truly is," he said quietly and looked down at her lips.
She noticed where his eyes landed and started leaning in.

Hinwick For A More Memorable Wedding
London is one of the most romantic places to spend your special events, especially weddings. However, with so many dreamy and idealistic places to choose from, you may need help to select the right one. One amazing place to consider is Hinwick. This place is not just romantic and peaceful but also has a lot of things to offer, especially when it comes to the venue.
Hinwick is a village or settlement in northwest Bedfordshire, England, United Kingdom. It is approximately nine miles northwest of Bedford and approximately 0.6 mi or 1 kilometer east of the country border with Northamptonshire, which is also the postal country. The village is in the Podington rural community, sometimes called Hinwick and Podington, and this township was within Hundred of Willey.
The perfect location of Hinwick makes it favorable to those planning an intimate wedding in the United Kingdom. If you have decided to spend your time in Hinwick but have yet to learn of the venue, Hinwick House is the best choice.

“Whatcha doin’?” Win’s Nathan asked, finding Win at the table, a bunch of magazines spread out around her and her laptop in front of her, notepad in her lap.
“Uhm... I figured I’d get started on a list of all the stuff we should probably start thinking about.”
“Thinking about... what?” he asked, tilting his head to look at the magazines—bridal magazines. “Oh, right. That looks like a lot of work.”
“Yeah, and it’ll be a lot easier if we all work together,” she said pointedly.
"Hey there," Lyddie's Nathan came out of the room and immediately ran to see what the fuss was about. "Nice! Our little bride doin' bridal things."
"Guys, you're not gonna believe what happened," Lydia walked in jumping with excitement.
"Look, our not so little bride!" he pulled her in for a kiss.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"Look how tall y'are! You're like a cute, sexy giant. C'mere, Winnie is lookin' at wedding stuff."
“Yeah, and the brides are not gunna be th’only ones doing ‘bridal things’,” Win exclaimed, fixing him with a firm look. “This isn’t gunna be one of those weddings where the brides do everything and the grooms just get t’show up. Now what were you saying, Lyds?”
"Well, I was just gonna say they're shooting a movie with Orlando Bloom down the street, but this is much more interesting," Lydia took a seat next to her. "And you better bring your asses over here to help us!"
"Okay, what can I do?" her Nathan grabbed an apple and leaned over the counter.
“Alright alright,” Win’s Nathan agreed, plopping down next to his twin.
“Well, we’ll need to think about who to invite, what we wanna eat, songs for the reception, where we want th’ceremony and when, and a colour scheme or theme... and that’s just the beginnin’,” Winnie sighed.
"We also need to decide what drinks we're gonna have, the cake, first dance, bridesmaids and groomsmen, outfits, pictures, honeymoon..." Lydia continued.
"Jesus Christ, Lollipop!" her Nathan widened his eyes.
"But I suppose we could start with a guest list, a date, and a venue."
“I don’t care when we do it, but I’ve always kinda wanted an outdoor wedding,” Win murmured. “And my guest list is easy...” she said, huffing an empty laugh.
"We decided it'd be best t'leave dad out of it," Lyddie's Nathan announced.
"That's probably a smart idea" Lyds frowned. She really wanted to invite her family, but she had given up on the idea of telling them. "I agree with the outdoor wedding thing, are we waiting until we can go back to England?"
“It might be easier for everyone t’make it unless we wanna pay for a bunch of plane tickets,” Win’s Nathan said.
"You're right," she nodded, grabbing a pen and a napkin. "So your mum and Jeremy, Simon and Alisha, Kelly, Curtis and Nikki. Did I forget anyone?"
Win glanced at the Nathans before looking to Lyddie. “I think you should invite your parents. I mean, obviously you’ll need to tell them about everything, but we can help and so can Simon... I just figured that you actually want your family there, so they should be there."
"My mum's gonna kill me!" Lydia cried, rubbing her eyes nervously. "It's not like she can kick Si out for having powers anymore, but what if she goes public and we all get fucked?"
"Why would she want t'go public when we tell her that if she does that, you'll die?" her Nathan asked. "She's not a bad person is she?"
"No, she's just very strict. And what about young me? What if telling her prevents her from becoming who I am today?"
“I—I dunno...” Win replied, deflating. “I don’t have all the answers, but I just thought...”
“It’ll be okay, Lyds,” Win’s Nathan exclaimed. “I mean, there’s two of me in th’same timeline and if that didn’t stop the world from turnin’, then what could be th’harm?”
"That's true, and who wouldn't wanna become a beautiful broadway bound rock star, about t'marry three very hot people?" Lyddie's Nathan added.
"I'm sorry, Winnie, I didn't mean to snap. It's actually a really nice idea," Lyds ran her fingers through the other woman's hair. "You are so sweet, and I love you so much. I'll call Simon to talk about it later."
“I know you’re scared, but we’re all here for you,” Win murmured, taking her fiancé's hand from her hair to hold, bringing it to her lips.
After a moment she grinned, letting go of Lydia’s hand. “Okay, so that was surprisingly easy, though I’ve made a note that we’ll have to look into outdoor venue spaces. What’s next?”
"If we're having an outdoor wedding, it better be during spring or summer," Lyddie took notes. "Do you guys have any preference for a theme or-?"
"Let's have a superhero wedding!" her Nathan clapped as if that was the most brilliant idea. "Y'know, we're all superheroes and all?"
"Babe, this is a wedding, not a kid's birthday party," she laughed.
“Maybe something music-themed?” Win suggested. “I’m not super picky, but I think it would be fun t’perform together at the reception.”
"Definitely," Lydia smiled. "I'll take any chance to perform with you. It would be nice to have a music theme, like little notes and guitars for decoration."
“Great, that’s settled,” Winnie exclaimed happily, leaning across the counter to steal a kiss from the other woman before settling back in her chair. “Okay, next, reception food?”
"Since it's less than 20 people including us, it would be silly to get a caterer or whatever, I can cook."
"No, you're the bride, you're s'posed t'be spoiled and all that shit," Lyddie's Nathan protested.
“Or we could get pizza,” Win’s Nathan suggested, half-joking.
"That's what I was gonna say!" his clone slammed the counter, he was taking the whole wedding planning a little too seriously.
"Pizza? It's not classy at all, but maybe if we serve it with champagne..." Lyds chuckled.
“Hey, we can make the rules for our wedding,” Win laughed. “If we want pizza and champagne, then who’s to say we can’t?”
"That's why I'm marrying you guys," she sighed. "We need some soda and juice as well, for the designated drivers and for young me, she's not supposed to drink for the first time until you," she pointed at the boys. "Give her booze."
"Okay, wedding party?" Win asked, tapping the back of her pen against her lips.
"Why don't we do it in the flat? Or the rooftop? It would be less glamorous, but it would be easy..." Lyds suggested.
"Sounds perfect," Winnie grinned. "What sort of flowers would you like, Lyddie?" she asked next.
"Bird of paradise flowers are my favorite," she wrote it down. "We could wrap the bouquets in music sheets and guitar strings."
"Sounds lovely," Win murmured, discreetly searching on her laptop what a bird of paradise flower looked like.
"What are your favorite flowers, Winnie? I never got you flowers!" Lydia gasped. "I always get you chocolates."
"I like peonies, but I dunno how well they'd go with everything else..." she admitted.
"We can get it, pink goes with the orange from my flowers and anyone who has seen Wicked knows pink goes with green," Lyddie stoked her fiancé's hair. "I think it's gonna look gorgeous."
"The real question is how are we doin' that thing with the garter?" her Nathan asked. "Am I goin' down on both of you or...?"
"Nathan, come on! Really?" she rolled her eyes with a laugh.
"No, no, th'man's onto somethin' here, askin' the important questions!" Win's Nathan agreed.
"There's no way you two are getting under my dress in front of my mum, dad, brother, and younger self," Lydia mocked.
"It's tradition, Lollipop! D'you really wanna break tradition?" her Nathan cocked an eyebrow.
"We're a quad, we're already breaking tradition... how can you think of doing that in front of your mum? What is Louise gonna say?"
“Honestly, she wouldn’t be all that surprised,” Win’s Nathan exclaimed. “Y’know I think we should take th’garters off with our teeth.”
“I’m down,” Win simply shrugged.
"Fine!" Lyds nodded defeated. She knew she would be embarrassed, but it could be fun. "At least your dad won't be there... we'll get them when we go lingerie shopping for the honeymoon."
“Lingerie shopping, huh?” Win’s Nathan exclaimed, leaning in closer.
“Will I be able to go with you for that?” Win asked, curious.
"Of course, we're going together for this one," Lyddie winked at her. "Just the two of us."
"That's not fair!" her Nathan pouted.
"It's more than fair, it's a surprise for you guys."
“Yeah, and maybe you can surprise us with something,” Win said, grinning impishly, already excited. “Speaking of the Honeymoon, where do we wanna go for that?”
"We wanted t'go somewhere warm, with beaches and all that," Lyddie's Nathan shared a look with his twin. "Like the Caribbean or Greece."
“That sounds lovely. I’ve never been anywhere, so I’m excited just to go,” Win laughed. “But somewhere warm sounds nice. I wanna go sailing.”
"Let's check prices and hotels, and then we can decide," Lydia was happy to see Winnie so excited. "We should probably schedule a cake tasting once we get back."
"Can I do that one?" her Nathan offered.
"We're all going, don't worry," she leaned against his chest.
“This is gunna be the best wedding ever,” Win murmured, feeling her eyes moisten as she looked at her partners. She didn’t like to think of herself as a sentimental type, but who was she kidding?
"It is, babe, cause we're marrying each other," Lyddie kissed the top of her head on the way to the bathroom. "I'm gonna take a quick shower, then we can talk first dance, bachelor and bachelorette parties..."
“Sounds good!” Win called, slouching back in her chair. “This is going surprisingly a lot easier than I anticipated,” she laughed.
"Yeah, seems like it..." Lyddie's Nathan agreed. "Havin' four people helps."
"It sure does," Lyds murmured, glancing at Win's Nathan with a grin before walking into the bathroom.
He grinned back, watching her as she disappeared around the door.
“What was that all about?” Win asked, noticing.
Lyddie's Nathan felt a tiny bit jealous but pushed the thought away, it was silly to be jealous of a look, Lyds loves all of them equally, he knew that much...
"Um, yeah, what's goin' on?"
Win’s Nathan glanced over at Winnie, eyeing the bruise around her neck from the other day, which only seemed darker today.
“Ohhh, nothin’, for once I know somethin’ about Lyddie that neither of you two do,” he gloated.
"Funny, but that's impossible," his clone scoffed dismissively. "I know every little bit of her, inside and out. There's no way, man."
“Oh really? I beg t’differ,” he mused, leaning forward, a mischievous grin playing at his lips. Oh, he was enjoying this.
Win chewed her lip, glancing at the other man. She could see the way his mouth twitch downward and she frowned.
“Well, spit it out already,” she said.
"I bet I already know. She might not even know that I know, but I know..." Lyddie's Nathan looked at his clone defiantly, despite the shadow of insecurity in his voice. "I can get her goin' in my sleep, I know it all."
“Oh? So you know about her daddy kink, then?” Win’s Nathan asked smugly.
Lyddie's Nathan choked on his orange juice, staring in disbelief at his twin.
"What?" he managed to say. "Nah, you're shittin' me, she would've told me..."
“Oho! I knew it! I’m finally the one in th’know for once. She said it was the one kink she managed t’hide from everyone, until she called me daddy in bed yesterday,” Win’s Nathan exclaimed.
"That is- if this is a wind up, I swear t'God..." Lyddie's Nathan felt conflicted. That was insanely hot, but at the same time, why the fuck would she hide it from him? "Lollipop! Lyds!" he called.
"I'll be right out, sweetie," she said, unsuspecting.
“It’s not! I swear!” Win’s Nathan held his hands up.
Winnie groaned, getting up to smack the back of his head as she passed him, heading to the kitchen.
"What's up?" Lydia opened the door with a smile.
"D'you have a daddy kink?" her Nathan asked. He thought going straight to the point would be better, but instead of answering, she widened her eyes and shut the door again.
"Baby!" he knocked again. "C'mon, why didn't y'tell me?"
“This is going well,” Win muttered, pouring herself a drink. “Look what you started,” she hissed at her Nathan who opened his mouth in surprise.
“Me? I just had t’make it even. Specially when you’re walkin' around lookin’ like that! You told me y’didn’t like it rough, but then you go and let him do that kinda shit with yeh,” he threw back at her. “What am I s’posed t’think?”
She turned around to look at him. “Is that what you’re upset about?”
“Yeah... kinda...” he admitted, reaching out to tug at the hem of her shirt.
“Oh, Nathan,” Win huffed. “Come here,” she said, wrapping her arms around him. “I don’t like it rough all th’time... but he’s a little more used t’that cuz that’s how Lyddie likes it. It doesn’t make what we have any less special because we shag differently than I do with him.”
“I guess,” he relented. “I do get t’be a little rough with Lyddie. And I like it when you take charge. I like it a lot.”
“See?” she murmured.
“I just... got a little jealous is all.”
“It happens to th’best of us,” Win laughed, tilting her head up to kiss him. “But you should probably apologize to Lyds for outing her secret.”
“Yeah...” Nathan groaned, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly.
"Sweetheart, open the door," Lyddie's Nathan tried to turn the doorknob, but it was locked. "Lyds!"
"There's no Lyds, she jumped out the window! Try again in... 15 years," she shouted.
"That's sad, we're s'posed t'get married soon. And- and I love her."
At these words, she decided to open the door, still burning with embarrassment. He pulled her into a hug, already feeling bad for his approach. "I forgot how shit you are at keeping secrets."
"I think it's hot! You could've told me, babe!" he squeezed her. "You're not upset, are ya?"
"No," she sighed heading to the room to get dressed. "I guess it's on me for expecting Nathan to keep his mouth shut, I know that's physically impossible. That goes for both of you."
"Just so we're clear, does that extend to Winnie? D'you wanna call her mummy or-?"
"No further questions," she blushed even harder.
"Okay, okay, can y'call me...?"
"Yes, Nathan," Lydia came out wearing one of his shirts. "Awesome!"
"I guess so," she sat next to Win and started looking through the magazines, maybe she would find a dress she liked.
“Lyddie...?” Win’s Nathan ventured hesitantly.
"Yes?" she looked up at him, knowing what he was gonna say. She really wasn't upset. After everything that happened the last time, things turned out okay, great even, but she also wasn't thrilled about it.
“Can we talk for a sec?” he asked nervously.
"I wonder what would you possibly wanna talk about..." she took his hand and followed him.
Win shared a look with Lyddie’s Nathan as the two walked out after quickly downing the drink she’d made.
Once they were alone, Win’s Nathan cleared his throat awkwardly. “So... I uhm... look, I’m sorry. I didn’t really think that through...” he admitted, so caught up in the euphoria that he was the first to know something about Lyddie.
"I would hope so," she folded her arms. "It would be pretty shitty of you to think it through and still tell everyone my secret. I know you, I can't say I'm incredibly surprised."
He hung his head. “I just got excited. I should’ve let you tell th’others when you were ready to. I didn’t mean to betray your trust,” he sighed, chancing a glance at her to gauge her reaction. “Forgive me, Lyds?”
Lydia took a deep breath, staring at those sad emeralds of his. She knew he was being sincere, he was the last one to know about every other thing...
"Yes, I forgive you, but," she couldn't resist winding him up just a little. "That'll be a month without shagging me, or seeing me naked, or kissing."
“WHAT?” he exclaimed. “I— You—! Noooooo! Lollipop, c’mon! I’ll get on my knees if y’want me to! You didn’t threaten that to the others me when he told Win your other secret!”
"Aw, you're so cute! I'm just kidding, I love you too much," Lydia giggled and wrapped her arms around his neck, idly playing with his hair. "Besides we both know how easy it is to break me."
At her words, Nathan heaved a giant sigh of relief. “That’s true, you’d be horny 24/7 with how hard I’d be tryin’ to tease you.” He sobered. “I love you, sweetheart.”
"Cocky bastard... I hate it when you're right," she shook her head before gently kissing his neck. "You guys can come back! It's all sorted!"
“All good?” Win asked, lifting her head from Lyddie’s Nathan’s shoulder where they’d gone to sit on the couch while they waited.
"All perfect," Lyds sat back down, pulling Win's Nathan with her so she could rest her legs on his thighs and her head on his shoulder
“Good, I’m glad,” Winnie quipped, pressing a kiss to her Nathan’s jaw and then doing the same to the other one. “We were getting worried.”
"Are there any other kinks y'wanna disclose before somethin' like this happens again?" Lyddie's Nathan asked.
She thought about it for a few moments, silently counting them on her fingers. "No, I think that's everything that I know of."
“Maybe I have some undisclosed kinks, you never know,” Win teased. “Now do we wanna plan some more or take a break for the day?”
"Wait! Can't just throw this at us like that, Winnie!" Lyddie's Nathan freaked out. "What is it?"
"Yeah, no kidding! I didn't think you had a lot of kinks," her Nathan exclaimed, sitting up straighter.
"Whatever is good for you, babe," Lydia ignored his desperate attempts.
"Hmm... I think I'd like to plan a little more," she answered, doing the same. She didn't really have any other major kinks, at least she didn't think so. The choking thing was new. But she liked teasing them.
"Yeah, sounds good. I know it might be a little out there, but how about we do a four-way first dance? We could think of a song that is special for all of us" Lydia was really enjoying this, the boys did deserve it.
"Wait, you're really gunna just leave us hangin' like that?" Win's Nathan exclaimed with an incredulous frown.
"Oh, I like that idea," Winnie exclaimed over him. "What's a song we all relate to though," she mused, wracking her brain.
"Boys, you're supposed to help us!" Lyds tilted her head. "Come on, what song do you guys think would be nice? There's a song from the future called Crazy Lucky by Better Than Ezra, I think would be nice..."
"Winnie! Tell us, please?" Lyddie's Nathan pouted. "We really wanna know, right Lollipop? Aren't you curious too?"
"Not really, I already know," she winked at her and went back to writing down songs.
"Oh, I like that song, that's a good one," Win murmured.
"Wait, Lyddie knows but not us?" Win's Nathan exclaimed.
Finally, she rolled her eyes and looked up. "Boys, can we focus here? If you wanna figure out my kinks, you can do it in the bedroom, but we're kinda busy right now."
"Fine, that song is a little cheesy. Get the one from your first album about the night changin', I like that one," Lyddie's Nathan huffed.
"Nathan Young wants to dance to a One Direction song at our wedding? Didn't have that one in my new timeline bingo card," Lydia joked.
"That one went over my head," Win laughed.
"Those kids from X Factor, in the next few years they become the new Backstreet Boys, maybe even bigger. My song, Night Changes, it's theirs," Lyddie whispered.
"It's a cool song..." her Nathan mumbled.
"Ahhh, okay," Winnie mused. "Well, I'm sure you sing it better than they would anyway," she said with a grin.
"You're too sweet," Lydia chuckled. "We're gonna find the perfect song, that's what we're good at."
“Yeah! You two know more about music than anyone,” Win’s Nathan exclaimed.
"Thanks, babe, we'll put a pin on that. Now, you two are probably gonna make your own tuxes, Winnie can make her own dress too, I'll find somewhere to buy mine," Lydia looked over at the boys. "Did you guys plan anything for the bachelor party?"
“We wanna smoke cigars and play some poker. Y’know, classy," he replied.
"Well I sure hope there are no strippers involved..." she gave them a pointed look. "And definitely no using your powers to cheat! We won't be there to help you do basic math like I did in Vegas."
“Vegas?” Win exclaimed, worried, remembering the last time they went. Til she remembered Nathan’s lifetime ban was in their universe, not this one. “Yeah, please don’t get arrested... again. And seconded on the strippers.”
“What? Course not, love. Wouldn’t dream of it,” her Nathan gasped.
"I'm impressed with how little faith y'have in us... we're angels!" Lyddie's Nathan frowned dramatically. "What are the ladies plannin', huh?"
"I actually didn't think of it yet, what do you wanna do, Winnie?" Lydia asked.
“I haven’t really either,” she answered. “Maybe go out clubbing? Or a big sleepover with the girls?”
"We could do both," Lyddie grinned. "First we hit the club, then we get some food, watch some chick-flicks, I'll finger you under the blankets... you know, wholesome fun night."
“Mmm sounds perfect,” Winnie murmured, pressing a kiss to her cheek.
“Whoa whoa whoa, we’re not allowed to have strippers, but you get t’finger each other at your party? How is that fair?” Win’s Nathan gasped.
"We're engaged! It's not even remotely the same thing," Lydia laughed. "I was gonna suggest we leave you guys a little video as a pre-wedding gift, but if you'd rather watch strippers..."
"No! I'll take the video!" her Nathan interrupted.
“I changed my mind! I want a video too please!” Win’s Nathan was quick to assure them. “All I meant was, it doesn’t seem fair that you two get some when we won’t be,” he grumbled, sullenly.
“Oh my God, Nathan,” Win laughed. “As if you two don’t get some basically every day,” she pointed out.
"So do you! Sometimes without us!" Lyddie's Nathan furrowed his brows.
"Poor babies," Lydia hugged Win's Nathan tightly. "Don't worry, we'll make something very special for you, I'm sure you're gonna love it."
“I mean, if you two wanna shag each other be our guest,” Winnie teased, poking Lyddie’s Nathan in the side. “I think it’s all pretty even. You’re definitely not sex starved by any means.”
"Jesus no!" he jumped, remembering the unfortunate accident from the other day. "I know I'm handsome, but I'll pass!"
"You got a little jittery, babes, is there something you wanna tell us?" Lydia taunted.
"NO! I'm fine!"
“Wait, did something happen?” Win asked, looking between the two men suspiciously. “I mean, you’re all for talking about other people’s secrets...”
"Of course not! That'd be so weird, how can you even think that? Right?" Lyddie's Nathan looked at his twin, terrified.
"Sounds sketchy to me," Lyds muttered.
“It’s not sketchy. Nothin’ happened! We’re like brothers, how could yeh even imply that?” Win’s Nathan exclaimed, scandalized.
"Okay..." Lydia tried not to laugh at how bothered they got. "If you say so... I believe you."
"Great! Can we talk about somethin' else then?" her Nathan groaned.

Wedding Photography and Videography Service in Leeds, northern England
Chinese & Western Fusion Wedding in Oulton Hall Hotel -
We recently had the privilege of providing wedding photography, videography and bridal hair & makeup service for a generous and lovable Hong Kong couple in Oulton Hall Hotel, Leeds, in the northern English county of Yorkshire.
This wedding was a classic affair for us, with the entire celebration taking place at Oulton Hall Hotel from early morning until the night—a one-venue wonder. While the couple embraced certain Chinese wedding traditions such as the tea ceremony and presenting gifts and golds by elder family members, they opted out of the door game.
Before this pleasant couple's wedding day we have also provided them a pre-wedding shoot in Peak District. Feel free to take a look at the pre-wedding photography, videography and bridal hair makeup service we have provided on our website and Facebook page.
Given that their guest list comprised mainly of older family members, there were no bridesmaids or groomsmen. To enhance the happiness in the atmosphere, the bride requested our photographer to say a few lucky words in Cantonese during the tea ceremony which made everyone laughed. Would you like a cheat sheet of the Chinese lucky words? Feel free to contact us for it.
Wedding Ceremony
From start to finish, everything was well organised. After wrapping up the bridal hair styling & makeup service, and capturing all the essential photos and videos in the morning, we set up the equipments for their legal wedding ceremony in the hotel's hall. Oulton Hall Hotel, with its countryside charm and classical architecture, provided a perfect backdrop for the couple's special day.
All About Family
Following the legal ceremony, couple shoot, and family and guest group shoots, we explored the hotel's interiors for additional shoots for the wedding party. The hotel's architecture served as a constant source of inspiration, guiding us to unique locations for capturing the couple's timeless moments. Except the elegant interior, Oulton Hall Hotel has a back garden, a golf course and grand, classic entrance. No one felt stress in this setting. The wedding day unfolded in a relax way, just match with our couple's personality.
To add a Western touch, they hosted a splendid banquet for their dinner tables. As the banquet came to an end, we could finally say we have dedicated our best services to this generous couple. Their family has offered us a token of appreciation. In return, we extended our special thanks to them.
Wishing this wonderful couple a lifetime of joy and happiness in their married life!
Feel free to take see more photos and videos on our website, Facebook & Vimeo pages!

❝ i've got a hundred thrown out speeches i almost said to you ❞
stats:
full name / greyson henry love
nicknames / grey
age / 38
dob / jan. 5th
star sign / capricorn
sexuality / bisexual
hometown / london, england
current residence / seattle, wa
subject / building a spell: the art of poetry in magic
demeanor:
likes ; brand new pens, the smell of old books, playing guitar, going to smaller venue concerts, taking the ferry, walking the waterfront, adding a new book to his collection, cucumbers
dislikes ; talk of the war, when people ask if he's met the queen after they hear his accent, wands
usual temperament ; quiet, reserved, usually lost in a thought. generally he can be found in his classroom either grading papers or playing his guitar between classes. he always has time for his students, and takes great care in making sure they know they can always come to him for help. he still remembers the disinterest in many of his professors in hogwarts, and he strives to be nothing like them.
highlights:
greyson spent his days in a cold manor. his parents expected too much, always, and he always exceeded expectations. but it was never enough. they always wanted more and used brute force to make that known. it took a long time for him to simply stop caring. he focused on music, the one thing he really cared about, and did well enough in school to get by. he quickly became the family shame. it was why, after leaving hogwarts, he dropped the last name greengrass and changed it to love. a small nod to something he'd never had.
for a long time he floated. played his music well enough to make some money and make a name for himself locally. met a girl named delilah and fell in love. within a few months of their relationship she fell pregnant. he was terrified and she was excited, together they planned their lives together as a family. even started planning a wedding. up until his daughter was born he remained afraid, though he kept it to himself as best as he could. but the moment he watched her come into this world...he loved her. he was still terrified, but he was sure he would be nothing like his parents. rosalind love was born at 2:13am and his world was forever changed.
unfortunately, his relationship with delilah changed as well. she avoided him and their baby. accused him of wanting to run off and just play his music and not loving either of them. and then about 3 months later she was gone. leaving him alone with their daughter. he tried for over a year to find her until he had to just give up and accept that it was just him and his rosie from now on.
the year before she got her letter the rumors about voldemort's return were starting. he knew his daughter was a witch, and that if there was any truth to this she could be in danger, especially if anyone knew her mother was a muggle. so he fled before she could ever get her first letter. in the time since she'd been born he'd started exploring magic again but with a different approach. one that had interested a few magical universities. but it was the offer from uw he took because it brought him and his baby girl far away from a war she should never have to fight. in the years as things ramped up and he heard reports of the tragedies coming from his old school, it cemented his lack of regret over leaving.
rosie opted to only attend a magical school in seattle. her reasoning was that she hated math, and if she was going to be forced to learn it then she better also learn some really cool stuff too. greyson didn't mind, despite his own reservations with the magical world, he could see it was different enough here that things might be okay for her.
his family never reached out, but he heard they'd joined the death eaters, all while still calling him the family shame. he knew very few of them would survive a real war. they were monsters, sure, but they were also pampered housecats that didn't really care to get their hands dirty. should it come to that, he will not mourn them, nor will he ever step foot back there to help the fight. not if it meant putting his daughter at risk.

Capturing Elegance: The Art of Traditional and Contemporary Asian Wedding Photography in Leicester
In the heart of England, Leicester stands as a vibrant melting pot of cultures, and this diversity is beautifully reflected in its wedding scene. Asian weddings, in particular, are a spectacle of traditions, vibrant colors, and rich ceremonies. The art of capturing these moments requires a delicate blend of traditional and contemporary approaches in photography.
Traditional Elegance:
Asian weddings are steeped in tradition, and capturing these timeless moments is an art form in itself. Traditional Asian wedding ceremonies are often elaborate affairs, marked by intricate rituals and ceremonies that symbolize the union of two individuals and their families.
Photographers specializing in traditional Asian wedding photography in Leicester understand the significance of each ritual and the emotions that accompany them. From the vibrant hues of the bridal attire to the intricate details of the ceremony, every element is carefully documented to tell the story of the couple's journey.
One of the key aspects of traditional Asian wedding photography is the emphasis on family. The photographer becomes not just an observer but a part of the celebration, blending into the background to capture candid moments that showcase the bonds between family members. These images, filled with laughter, tears, and joy, become treasured memories for generations to come.
Contemporary Flair:
While tradition forms the backbone of Asian weddings, contemporary elements bring a fresh and modern perspective to wedding photography. Leicester, with its dynamic and diverse population, is witnessing a surge in couples who want to blend the richness of tradition with a touch of modernity.
Contemporary Asian wedding photographers in Leicester approach their craft with a keen eye for artistic expression. From creative compositions to innovative use of lighting, these photographers bring a modern aesthetic to capture the essence of the wedding day. Candid shots that freeze spontaneous moments, coupled with unique angles and perspectives, add a touch of storytelling that resonates with the younger generation.
Furthermore, the incorporation of technology plays a significant role in contemporary Asian wedding photography. Drones, for example, offer breathtaking aerial views of the wedding venue, providing a unique perspective that adds a cinematic quality to the wedding album. Social media integration, live streaming, and digital platforms have also become integral tools for sharing these precious moments with a wider audience.
The Fusion of Traditions and Trends:
The best Asian wedding photographers in Leicester skillfully navigate the delicate balance between tradition and contemporary trends. They understand that each couple is unique, and their wedding day should reflect their individuality. This requires a personalized approach, where the photographer collaborates closely with the couple to understand their vision and preferences.
The fusion of traditions and trends is evident not only in the photography style but also in the choice of locations, themes, and even attire. Leicester's diverse cultural landscape provides a plethora of options, from historic venues to modern spaces, allowing couples to tailor their wedding experience to match their personalities asian wedding photographer in leicester.
Conclusion:
In Leicester, the art of Asian wedding photography is a celebration of diversity, tradition, and modernity. Whether it's the timeless elegance of traditional ceremonies or the contemporary flair of modern expressions, photographers in Leicester are adept at capturing the essence of each couple's unique love story.
As the cultural tapestry of Leicester continues to evolve, so does the art of Asian wedding photography. The fusion of tradition and contemporary trends ensures that each wedding album becomes a masterpiece that not only reflects the couple's journey but also pays homage to the rich cultural heritage that defines Leicester's wedding landscape.

Malta Wedding
A comprehensive list of wedding venues in Malta which include beach and classic reception locations. I have experienced a vast number of wedding locations and wanted to share with you the best venues. Malta Wedding
About Company:-
Hi! I am Franklin - the owner and photographer for all the images you see here!  I was born in 1985, in the picturesque village of Tarxien in the island of Malta, and pursued my studies and graduated as a mechanical engineer in 2007.  Although engineering and art may seem to be unrelated,  I grew fond of industrial design and this sharpened my appreciation to geometry and symmetry - which I now find so useful in my photography.
My photographic journey started (and continues) with a passion for street photography during which I document people in their daily mundane activities.  I feel that my vision has been influenced by my Christian upbringing and values, as in my photography I seek to display the invisible and spiritual realm with the physical and optical dimensions.  I also create creative portraits, brand and interior design imagery for commercial clients.
This love of documenting people, their  personality and connections has through the years lead me to photograph couples from all over the world including couples from China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, England, Saudi Arabia, Italy, Russia, Germany, Latvia, India, and the USA.  I just love meeting and working with people from all over the world!
