...so, uh. This popped into my head one day. If anyone else has come up with THIS take on Berryblue's role in the Frieza force, I haven't seen it yet.

Basically I headcanon that she was King Cold's mistress. Marriage wouldn't do for either of them, since King Cold preferred people not to know that he could have a romantic side, and Berryblue preferred to stay under the radar as much as possible. But they were very much in love, or at least as close to love as they could get, being evil and all.

Berryblue is also Frieza's mom in every sense except biological. King Cold was the gene donor, but Berryblue was the one he trusted to raise and groom the galaxy's future ruler. It's as good an explanation as any for how Berryblue can talk smack to Frieza and not get vaporized for it.

And yes, they were absolutely banging.
