As an FtM guy,, thank you for your gn and m AC one shots and stuff. Normally I just read what’s out there, and replace any needed words in my head (I.e. lass -> lad), but it’s nice to not have to do that all of the time. For Edward and Ezio esp., as I’m a little obsessed with them lol. Love your writing!

@benewhorian okay so, not to let this go unaddressed.

im not going to claim to know you as a whole person thanks to one quick post on tumblr.gov.edu, and i don't think anyone should do that to anyone, ever. that's patronizing of you and ignorant of me to do, so i will not.

however, when you comment in a post that you're looking at this incredibly disparate groups and seeing them as the same save for their symbols, then I'm reasonably going to assume a horseshoe theory thought process. and when said groups have very real and tangible, textual connections to real life groups and real history, then yeah, im going to at least raise an eyebrow at the statements being made and implied.

also, to bring up the dev's creative choice is no excuse. just because they tried to do it doesn't mean it was a good choice or that they are in the right to do it. the very core of the premise is just wrong. not just ethically but rationally wrong.

on your tags, you said you'd "do it right", but given the body of the post, that they are the same save for their aesthetics because they both want """peace""" (despite both having very different understandings of the word to begin with), then I'll reasonably assume you mean you want to do the morally grey Templars angle "right", rather than write it out of the story.

I'm not assuming anything about you as a person, but I'm working within the context of the post, and that context is not a good look by itself.

also, this isn't just about you, but a general trend I see pop up within the fandom every so often, and I've seen it many times over the years. I've been in the fandom since 2011, and this lack of media literacy isn't annoying so much as scary, given the Everything Happening in recent years.

I apologize if this felt like an attack on you as a person, it wasn't meant to be, but rather an attack at this angle that i've seen way too often.
