How Iroh talks about his about his attempts to conquer Ba Sing Se vs. How Azula talks about conquering Ba Sing Se
Iroh:
“Winter Solstice, Part 1: The Spirit World”:
Earthbender captain: A place you’re quite familiar with, actually. You once laid siege to it for 600 days, but it would not yield to you.
Iroh: Ah, the great city of Ba Sing Se.
Earthbender captain: It was greater than you were, apparently.
Iroh: I acknowledge my defeat at Ba Sing Se. After 600 days away from home, my men were tired, and I was tired. [Yawns.] And I’m still tired.
“Zuko Alone”:
Iroh: (voice over) If the city is as magnificent as its wall, Ba Sing Se must be something to behold. (cut to a younger Iroh sitting at a desk, flanked by two guards, writing the letter) I hope you all may see it someday, if we don't burn it to the ground first. (He laughs at this, then cut back to a frontal shot of Ursa, the letter scroll spread open in the foreground, with Zuko and Azula on either side. They laugh with Iroh at this comment.)
“The Desert”:
Zuko: Ba Sing Se? ‌Why would we go to the Earth Kingdom capital‌? Fung: [Calmly.] The city is filled with refugees. No one will notice two more. Iroh: We can hide in plain sight there. And it’s the safest place in the world from the Fire Nation. Even I couldn’t break through to the city. [Happily shrugs his shoulders.]
“The Serpent’s Pass”:
Iroh: Who would have thought after all these years, I’d return to the scene of my greatest military disgrace … [Turns away for a second before turning back with a floral hat on his head.] as a tourist!
“The Crossroads of Destiny”:
Iroh: Many times, I imagined myself here, at the threshold of the palace. But I always thought I would be here as a conqueror...instead, we are the Earth Kings personal guests, here to serve him tea. Destiny is a funny thing.
“Sozin’s Comet, Part 2: The Old Masters”:
Iroh: [Aerial view of group.] Sozin’s Comet is arriving, and our destinies are upon us. Aang will face the Fire Lord. [Extreme close-up.] When I was a boy, I had a vision that I would one day take Ba Sing Se. [Cut to Zuko and the camera pans across to right showing Toph, Sokka, Suki, and Katara.] Only now do I see that my destiny is to take it back from the Fire Nation, [Extreme close-up.] so the Earth Kingdom can be free again.
Iroh: [Close-up.] Goodbye, everyone. Today, destiny is our friend. [Whispers.] I know it.
For Iroh, everything is about him. Conquest is an individual act, done by him in order to fulfill his destiny and secure personal glory.  Conquest isn’t about the good of the Fire Nation, about bringing an end to the war, or about fulfilling the Fire Nation’s imperial destiny. Iroh only rarely bothers to mention the people under his command, much less grant any credit to them, whether they be the massive army which died by the thousands in the 600 day siege or the incredibly powerful White Lotus force under his command during his “liberation” of the city.
Azula:
“The Guru:”
Azula: We have been presented with an extraordinary opportunity, girls. Ty Lee: (teasingly) Mai finally gets to wear makeup that's not totally depressing? Mai: (deadpan) Ha. Ha. (she has large, dark splotches of makeup beneath her eyes) Azula: (walking to a window) I'm talking about conquering the whole Earth Kingdom. (the two girls turn with shocked looks) Azula:(staring out the window) For a hundred years the fire nation has hammered away at Ba Sing Se from the outside. But now we are on the inside, and we can take it by ourselves. Ty Lee: (admiringly) Gosh, you're so confident. I really admire that about you. Azula: From the inside we're in the perfect position to organize a coup and overthrow the Earth King. The key is the Dai Li. Whoever controls the Dai Li, controls Ba Sing Se.
“The Crossroads of Destiny”:
Azula: Why don't you let him decide, Uncle? I need you Zuko. I've plotted every move of this day. This glorious day in Fire Nation history. And the only way we win is together. At the end of this day, you will have your honor back. You will have your father's love. You will have everything you want.
And
Azula: We've done it Zuko. It's taken a hundred years, but the Fire Nation has conquered Ba Sing Se. Zuko: (regretfully) I betrayed Uncle. Azula: No, he betrayed you. Zuko, when you return home, father will welcome you as a war hero. Zuko: But I don't have the Avatar. What if Father doesn't restore my honor?
(I didn’t include Lo and Li’s speech in “The Awakening” because although Azula provided the information for that, I doubt she choose the exact wording.)
For Azula, conquest is always a collective act, with credit being distributed correspondingly.  Even though the actual conquest of Ba Sing Se was done by her and three people completely rejected and devalued by the Fire Nation who only she valued, and thus Azula come reasonably claim complete credit, Azula instead attributes the victory to the Fire Nation’s collective effort.  Finally, conquest is an act motivated by the Fire Nation’s good and greater glory instead of being motivated by individual gain or glory.

A piercing ring broke through the haze of sleep and Sam groaned, reaching over to the nightstand and groping across the table before finding the alarm clock. He pressed the OFF button, falling back against his pillow and throwing an arm over his eyes. He sighed deeply, willing himself to get up. He had a big case coming up, and he needed to be at the office earlier today to go over things with his client.
He finally removed his arm from his face and cracked open his eyes, turning his gaze to the window where sunlight streamed through the open curtains his wife had opened like she did every morning. He gingerly climbed out of bed, his feet hitting the cool tile of the floor before he made his way to the bathroom to relieve himself and throw water on his face to wake himself up a little more.
He walked downstairs, yawning as he took the last step down. Sounds emanated from the kitchen and he followed them, stopping when he got to the archway. He smiled, leaning against the wall as he watched the scene before him. (Y/N) stood in her pajamas, hair thrown haphazardly atop her head, and slippers on her feet as she stood in front of the stove, the smell of pancakes and eggs wafting towards him.
He didn’t know how he’d gotten so lucky with (Y/N). He had been a sophomore in college, studying law, when he had met her. She was right out of high school, young, vivacious and intent on following her passion for teaching. They had fallen into a study routine, becoming best friends until they realized there was more between them. When he’d asked her to marry him a few months after he’d graduated, she had immediately said yes. They had embarked on the new adventure together, him getting established at a local law office and her finding a job at an elementary school.
She had taught for a few years until they found out she was pregnant, and she decided to quit teaching, at least for a little while, so she could stay at home and raise Aspen. (Y/N) was an amazing mother, and Sam thanked the gods above for bringing her into his life.
He was brought back to the present as she moved to open the cabinet above her, taking down a plate from the shelf and taking a pancake from the pan, depositing it onto the plate. Sam pushed away from the wall, quietly walking up behind her and wrapping his arms around her waist. She jumped and jerked her head back to look behind her. Her startled expression faded, replaced by a grin. “Good morning, handsome,” she greeted, tilting her head up just enough to meet him for a kiss.
“Morning,” he murmured beside her ear, his breath ruffling her hair.
“You hungry?” she asked, turning to turn off the burner to the eggs.
“I am,” Sam said. “But not for food,” he added, his voice dropping an octave.
(Y/N) turned in his arms, cocking an eyebrow. “Is that so?”
“Mhm,” Sam hummed, a salacious smirk crossing his lips.
“And what exactly should we do about that?” she asked with a coy smile, her hands slowly running up his chest to wrap around his neck.
“I can think of a few things,” Sam growled, his own hands sliding around her waist and down to her ass, grabbing a handful and drawing a squeal from her.
He drew her closer, dipping his head to kiss her before slipping his hands under her ass and to her thighs. She jumped up, wrapping her legs around his waist as he moved to set her on the counter.
He continued to kiss her, his tongue slipping into her mouth and tasting her as his hands slid under her pajama top, fingers ghosting the skin of her abdomen. He felt her shiver at his touch, and he smirked against her mouth, feeling more than a little proud he had this kind of power over her.
He was just about to pull her shirt up, when a loud cry came from upstairs, breaking the moment. Sam groaned as he broke the kiss, his head falling to her shoulder in defeat. He was hard as a rock and aching for her more than he’d care to admit.
She laughed lightly, pressing a kiss into the side of his neck. “I’m sorry, baby,” she said, pushing against him. He reluctantly stepped away, helping her slide off the counter. “I’ll take care of you tonight…. I promise,” she whispered in his ear, her hand coming to palm his erection. He groaned, his teeth sinking into his lower lip and eyes falling shut as he tried to control the arousal coursing through his veins.
She rose to her tiptoes, nipping lightly at his earlobe before she continued on her way. He turned to watch her walk up the stairs as if nothing had happened. Fuck, she was going to be the death of him.
**********
“I’m home!” Sam called as he stepped into the house at the end of the day.
“Hey!” (Y/N) shouted back. Sam walked through the living room, finding her once again in the kitchen, bending forward as she took something from the oven. “How was your day?” she asked, sensing him standing in the doorway.
“It was good,” he said, coming behind her just as she straightened, setting a casserole dish on the stovetop. He wrapped an arm around her waist, leaning down to kiss her. “What’s the occasion?” he asked, taking note of the bottle of wine and glasses sitting on the counter next to the stove.
“Don’t you remember?” (Y/N) asked with a good-natured chuckle. “Dean and Cassie are coming over for dinner tonight.”
“Oh, right,” Sam said with a nod. He was about to continue speaking when a high-pitched cry came through the baby monitor on the island.
“Can you do it this time?” (Y/N) asked, jerking her head towards the monitor. “I still have to make the salad before they get here,” she continued, swiping a hand across her forehead.
“Yeah, sure,” Sam said with a smile, pressing a kiss to his wife’s temple. He made his way out of the kitchen and up the stairs, following the cries to the room at the end of the hall. “Hey, baby girl,” he cooed as he entered, going to the crib under the window. He glanced down at his daughter on her back, eyes big and wet as crocodile tears rolled down her cheeks.
He leaned over the side of the crib, his large hands cradling her head and tiny body as he lifted her from her bed. “Hey, there, sweetheart,” he murmured, pressing a soft and lingering kiss to her downy hair.
Her tears stopped as she stared up at him intently with eyes that were her mother’s. He took her over to the rocking chair (Y/N) used to nurse her, the wood creaking as he settled down. He held Aspen close to his chest, rocking her back and forth as they regarded one another carefully.
He would never lose the awe he felt while holding his daughter in his arms. She was so tiny and fragile, with soft features and expressive eyes. She was a tiny vision to behold, and Sam often marveled that he had made such a beautiful and extraordinary being.
Aspen soon fell back to sleep and Sam put her back to bed before quietly making his way back downstairs where (Y/N) was putting the finishing touches to the salad. “Almost ready,” she said with a smile, bringing the bowl of salad to the table where the casserole and a few other side dishes sat. “Would you grab the wine and glasses and set the table, please.”
Sam smiled and nodded, going to the kitchen and gathering up all the dinner necessities and laying them out on the table. He had just set the last fork on the table when the doorbell rang. He went to answer it, finding Dean and Cassie on the stoop.
“Hey, guys!” Sam said, holding open the door and stepping aside so they could enter. “How’s it going?”
“Going good,” Cassie answered, going to hug her brother-in-law. “How about you guys?”
“Going great. I just put Aspen back down,” Sam said. Cassie pouted at not getting to see her niece, but her smile reappeared as soon as (Y/N) walked into the living room.
“Hey, girl,” Cassie said, opening her arms to her sister-in-law. (Y/N) stepped into her embrace before pulling away and reaching out for Dean next.
“Come on in, guys,” (Y/N) said, motioning for them to follow her and Sam to the dining room.
The rest of the evening was spent in laughter, banter, and amicable conversation. Sam loved being around his family, and his heart swelled with affection as he looked around the table at all the people he loved.
The night ended all too soon and after getting ready for bed, he went to check on Aspen. She had slept for most of the afternoon, only waking once to nurse and giving Dean and Cassie a chance to see her for a little while.
She was sleeping peacefully, light from the moon falling softly across her small body, giving her an almost angelic look. Sam smiled, leaning over the side of the crib to give her brow a tender kiss.
He made his way back to the master bedroom, (Y/N) already in bed. She looked up and smiled as he entered. “She okay?” she asked.
“Yeah,” he said, nodding. He climbed into the bed next to her, both of them eyeing one another silently. He opened his arm to her and she scooted closer, snuggling herself into his side. “I love you,” Sam whispered, his hand coming up to caress her cheek.
“Love you, too,” she answered back just as quietly, a small smile on her lips. He glanced down at them, licking his own subconsciously. It was her that initiated the kiss, her mouth soft and tantalizing against his own. He must have kissed her a thousand times, but each time was just as alluring.
Sam groaned as their mouths opened to one another without asking, their tongues sliding over one another, the mint from their toothpaste still present on her tongue. She moved from under his arm, rising to her knees before throwing a leg over his lap, straddling his thighs.
(Y/N) pulled back as Sam’s hands slid under her pajama top, slowly pushing it up. She pulled it over her head, his breath hitching as his eyes landed on her full and bare breasts, skin glowing in the light from the lamp on the nightstand.
He leaned forward, his mouth latching onto her right nipple while his hand came up to knead her other breast. Her hands weaved into his hair, holding him against her as her breath came out in small gasps of pleasure. He loved drawing these sounds from her. She had always been responsive to him, and he’d be lying if he said pleasuring her was more of a turn on than anything else.
“Sam,” she moaned, rocking her hips. He pulled away from her breast with a hiss as her pussy made contact with his rapidly growing erection. “Please, Sam,” she begged.
Sam knew what she wanted, and he was all too happy to give it. He stopped her movements and helped her off of him for a moment as he quickly shed his clothes, (Y/N) helping before he did the same to her.
Their need for one another was evident as they met in another heated kiss, Sam pulling her onto his lap once more, his now fully erect cock caught between their bodies. He gripped her hips, moving to grab a fistful of her ass before sliding his hands up her back, her skin warm and smooth.
He could feel her slick starting to coat her silken folds, a few drops landing on his thighs as she lightly rocked against him, desperate to appease the ache between her legs. She was already ready for him, and although he could never resist taking the time to really taste her, he knew neither of them could wait that long.
He pulled away then, falling back against the pillows stacked behind him. She smirked, knowing just what he wanted without him even having to tell her. She gripped his red and weeping cock in her small hand, raising herself to her knees and looking between their bodies as she positioned him at her entrance.
The moment his tip touched her folds, a low and throaty groan bubbled up from the back of his throat. She pushed herself down his length slowly, closing her eyes and relishing in the sting his wide girth always produced.
Sam lifted his hands to her breasts, kneading the soft mounds, watching with avid interest as she slowly adjusted to him. Stretch marks blazed trails across the skin of her abdomen, hips, and breasts; she always said they were ugly, but they were beautiful to him - reminders of the tiny life that had been woven inside her.
She leaned forward, bracing herself against his chest when her walls had finally accommodated him. She leaned in to kiss him at the same time that she moved her hips up before crashing them back down. Sam’s hands flew to her hips, holding her steady as she set a fast pace, her ass and thighs landing against his own legs with a slap.
She was warm and tight; her walls like velvet around him. He was like a moth to the flame as he watched her face carefully. Her cheeks were flushed, a few strands of hair sticking to her damp brow and teeth sunk into her lower lip. She was a glorious sight to behold, and he couldn’t bring himself to look away for even a second, wanting to catch the moment she came undone.
Her brow was furrowed in concentration as she sought out the spot that would be her undoing. Her legs began trembling after a few moments, and he could tell she was tiring out. So he sat up, wrapping his arms around her back and anchoring her to his chest. She moved so her legs were around his hips as he began to buck up into her wildly. A wanton moan tumbled from her mouth as his tip found her sweet spot, and he took advantage of her ecstasy to latch onto the skin of her neck, sucking a dark and purple hickey into the flesh.
“Sam, right there,” she panted. “Don’t stop...please don’t stop.”
Sam grit his teeth, her strangled cries nearly pulling him over the edge. But he’d be damned if he didn’t make her cum first.
“Play with yourself, baby,” he commanded, and her eyes shot open to meet his wild and lust-filled gaze. Her hand immediately went for her slick pussy, fingers deftly finding her swollen clit and rubbing in fast, firm circles.
Sam groaned as her walls tightened around him, and his fingers dug into the meaty flesh of her ass. “So good for me, baby,” Sam praised. “So tight. So wet. So beautiful.”
His praise was her ruin. Her fingers abandoned her bundle of nerves, hands flying to his shoulders as she came around him, clamping down hard and body shaking.
“Fuck, baby!” Sam cried out as he lost control, hips snapping up into her furiously until he couldn’t take it anymore and he tensed, holding himself still as he spilled deep within her.
She collapsed on top of him, her body lax, forehead landing on his broad shoulder. Sam ran his hands up and down her back, whispering sweet nothings in her ear as they both came down from their rapturous highs.
“Damn, I love you,” Sam whispered.
(Y/N) leaned back to look at him, her eyes gleaming with bliss. “I love you, too,” she said, running her fingers through his hair before pressing a kiss to his brow.
He shifted them both, her snuggling into his side, his arm wrapped firmly around her body as they listened to the silence around them. Sam smiled softly as (Y/N)’s breathing eventually evened out, and he knew she had fallen asleep.
Some people might have viewed his life as mundane and monotonous - just another day in the life of Sam Winchester, but to Sam it was a perfect day. And he smiled to himself as he slowly drifted off to sleep because right there, in that moment, in bed and tangled up with the woman he loved, his heart was full.

Saints&Reading: Thu., Sept. 17, 2020
Commemorated on September 4_”Old” Julian calendar
The Holy Martyr Hermionia (117)
Tumblr media
The Holy Martyr Hermionia was a daughter of the holy Apostle Philip (Comm. 14 November). Wanting to see the holy Apostle John the Theologian, Hermionia with her sister Euthykhia set off to Asia (Asia Minor) in search of the saint, but during the time of their journey they learned the saint had died. Continuing on, the sisters met up with a disciple of Saint Paul named Petronias, and copying him in everything, they became his disciples. Saint Hermionia, having mastered the healing arts, rendered help to many a Christian and by the power of Christ she healed the sick.      During this period, the emperor Trajan (98-117) waged war against the Persians and he came with his army through the village where the saint lived. When they reported that Hermionia was a Christian, he gave orders to bring her to him. At first the emperor with casual admonitions sought to persuade the saint to renounce Christ. When this did not succeed, he commanded that she should be struck on the face at length, but she joyfully endured this suffering. Moreover, she was comforted by a vision of the Lord, sitting upon the throne of judgement, in semblance of Petronias. Convincing himself that she was adamant in her faith, Trajan sent her away. Hermionia later built an hospice in which she took in the sick, doctoring their infirmities both of body and soul.      Trajan's successor as emperor, Adrian, again commanded that the saint be brought to trial for confessing the Christian faith. At first, the emperor commanded that she be beaten mercilessly, then they pierced the soles of her feet with nails, and finally they threw her into a cauldron with boiling tar, tin and sulphurous brimstone. But the saint bore everything giving thanks to God. And the Lord rendered her His mercy: the fire went out, the tin flowed off, and the saint remained unharmed. Adrian in surprise went up to the place of torture and touched at the cauldron, to ascertain whether it had cooled. But just as he touched at the cauldron, he burned the skin on his hand. But even this did not dissuade the torturer. He gave orders to heat red-hot a sort of frying-pan and put upon it the holy martyress. And here again happened another miracle. An Angel of the Lord scattered about the hot coals and burnt many that stood about the fire. The saint stood on the frying-pan, as though on green grass, hymning forth praise to the Lord. Descending the frying-pan, the holy martyress seemed to appear willing to offer sacrifice to the pagan god Hercules. The delighted emperor gave orders to take her off to the idolous temple. When however the saint prayed there to God, a loud thunder-clap was heard, and all the idols in the pagan temple fell and shattered. In a rage the emperor ordered that Hermionia be led out beyond the city and beheaded. Two servants – Theodoulos and Timothy – were entrusted to carry out the execution. Going along the way, they wanted to commit iniquity against the saint, but just as they were considering this, their hands withered. Then they believed in Jesus Christ and with repentance they fell at the feet of Saint Hermionia. They besought her to pray to the Lord, that He should summon them to Himself before her, which through this prayer transpired. After this, having prayed, she also expired to the Lord (+ c. 117).

Moses Is Born (1531 BC)
Tumblr media
2 And a man of the house of Levi went and took as wife a daughter of Levi. 2 So the woman conceived and bore a son. And when she saw that he was a beautiful child, she hid him three months. 3 But when she could no longer hide him, she took an ark of bulrushes for him, daubed it with asphalt and pitch, put the child in it, and laid it in the reeds by the river’s bank. 4 And his sister stood afar off, to know what would be done to him.
5 Then the daughter of Pharaoh came down to bathe at the river. And her maidens walked along the riverside; and when she saw the ark among the reeds, she sent her maid to get it. 6 And when she opened it, she saw the child, and behold, the baby wept. So she had compassion on him, and said, “This is one of the Hebrews’ children.”
7 Then his sister said to Pharaoh’s daughter, “Shall I go and call a nurse for you from the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child for you?”
8 And Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, “Go.” So the maiden went and called the child’s mother. 9 Then Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, “Take this child away and nurse him for me, and I will give you your wages.” So the woman took the child and nursed him. 10 And the child grew, and she brought him to Pharaoh’s daughter, and he became her son. So she called his name [a]Moses, saying, “Because I drew him out of the water.”
Moses Flees to Midian
11 Now it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out to his brethren and looked at their burdens. And he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his brethren. 12 So he looked this way and that way, and when he saw no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand. 13 And when he went out the second day, behold, two Hebrew men were fighting, and he said to the one who did the wrong, “Why are you striking your companion?”
14 Then he said, “Who made you a prince and a judge over us? Do you intend to kill me as you killed the Egyptian?”
So Moses feared and said, “Surely this thing is known!” 15 When Pharaoh heard of this matter, he sought to kill Moses. But Moses fled from [b]the face of Pharaoh and dwelt in the land of Midian; and he sat down by a well.
16 Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters. And they came and drew water, and they filled the troughs to water their father’s flock. 17 Then the shepherds came and drove them away; but Moses stood up and helped them, and watered their flock.
18 When they came to Reuel[c] their father, he said, “How is it that you have come so soon today?”
19 And they said, “An Egyptian delivered us from the hand of the shepherds, and he also drew enough water for us and watered the flock.”
20 So he said to his daughters, “And where is he? Why is it that you have left the man? Call him, that he may eat bread.”
21 Then Moses was content to live with the man, and he gave Zipporah his daughter to Moses. 22 And she bore him a son. He called his name Gershom,[d] for he said, “I have been a [e]stranger in a foreign land.”
23 Now it happened in the process of time that the king of Egypt died. Then the children of Israel groaned because of the bondage, and they cried out; and their cry came up to God because of the bondage. 24 So God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. 25 And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God acknowledged them.

The Previous Command to Enter Canaan
1 These are the words which Moses spoke to all Israel on this side of the Jordan in the wilderness, in the [a]plain opposite [b]Suph, between Paran, Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth, and Dizahab. 2 It is eleven days’ journey from Horeb by way of Mount Seir to Kadesh Barnea. 3 Now it came to pass in the fortieth year, in the eleventh month, on the first day of the month, that Moses spoke to the children of Israel according to all that the Lord had given him as commandments to them, 4 after he had killed Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon, and Og king of Bashan, who dwelt at Ashtaroth in[c] Edrei.
5 On this side of the Jordan in the land of Moab, Moses began to explain this law, saying, 6 “The Lord our God spoke to us in Horeb, saying: ‘You have dwelt long enough at this mountain. 7 Turn and take your journey, and go to the mountains of the Amorites, to all the neighboring places in the [d]plain, in the mountains and in the lowland, in the South and on the seacoast, to the land of the Canaanites and to Lebanon, as far as the great river, the River Euphrates. 8 See, I have set the land before you; go in and possess the land which the Lord [e]swore to your fathers—to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—to give to them and their descendants after them.’
Tribal Leaders Appointed
9 “And I spoke to you at that time, saying: ‘I [f]alone am not able to bear you. 10 The Lord your God has multiplied you, and here you are today, as the stars of heaven in multitude. 11 May the Lord God of your fathers make you a thousand times more numerous than you are, and bless you as He has promised you! 12 How can I alone bear your problems and your burdens and your complaints? 13 Choose wise, understanding, and knowledgeable men from among your tribes, and I will make them [g]heads over you.’ 14 And you answered me and said, ‘The thing which you have told us to do is good.’ 15 So I took the heads of your tribes, wise and knowledgeable men, and [h]made them heads over you, leaders of thousands, leaders of hundreds, leaders of fifties, leaders of tens, and officers for your tribes.
16 “Then I commanded your judges at that time, saying, ‘Hear the cases between your brethren, and judge righteously between a man and his brother or the stranger who is with him. 17 You shall not show partiality in judgment; you shall hear the small as well as the great; you shall not be afraid in any man’s presence, for the judgment is God’s. The case that is too hard for you, bring to me, and I will hear it.’ 18 And I commanded you at that time all the things which you should do.
Israel’s Refusal to Enter the Land
19 “So we departed from Horeb, and went through all that great and terrible wilderness which you saw on the way to the mountains of the Amorites, as the Lord our God had commanded us. Then we came to Kadesh Barnea. 20 And I said to you, ‘You have come to the mountains of the Amorites, which the Lord our God is giving us. 21 Look, the Lord your God has set the land before you; go up and possess it, as the Lord God of your fathers has spoken to you; do not fear or be discouraged.’
22 “And every one of you came near to me and said, ‘Let us send men before us, and let them search out the land for us, and bring back word to us of the way by which we should go up, and of the cities into which we shall come.’
23 “The plan pleased me well; so I took twelve of your men, one man from each tribe. 24 And they departed and went up into the mountains, and came to the Valley of Eshcol, and spied it out. 25 They also took some of the fruit of the land in their hands and brought it down to us; and they brought back word to us, saying, ‘It is a good land which the Lord our God is giving us.’
26 “Nevertheless you would not go up, but rebelled against the command of the Lord your God; 27 and you complained in your tents, and said, ‘Because the Lord hates us, He has brought us out of the land of Egypt to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us. 28 Where can we go up? Our brethren have [i]discouraged our hearts, saying, “The people are greater and taller than we; the cities are great and fortified up to heaven; moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakim there.” ’
29 “Then I said to you, ‘Do not be terrified, or afraid of them. 30 The Lord your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you, according to all He did for you in Egypt before your eyes, 31 and in the wilderness where you saw how the Lord your God carried you, as a man carries his son, in all the way that you went until you came to this place.’ 32 Yet, for all that, you did not believe the Lord your God, 33 who went in the way before you to search out a place for you to pitch your tents, to show you the way you should go, in the fire by night and in the cloud by day.
The Penalty for Israel’s Rebellion
34 “And the Lord heard the sound of your words, and was angry, and took an oath, saying, 35 ‘Surely not one of these men of this evil generation shall see that good land of which I [j]swore to give to your fathers, 36 except Caleb the son of Jephunneh; he shall see it, and to him and his children I am giving the land on which he walked, because he [k]wholly followed the Lord.’ 37 The Lord was also angry with me for your sakes, saying, ‘Even you shall not go in there. 38 Joshua the son of Nun, who stands before you, he shall go in there. Encourage him, for he shall cause Israel to inherit it.
39 ‘Moreover your little ones and your children, who you say will be victims, who today have no knowledge of good and evil, they shall go in there; to them I will give it, and they shall possess it. 40 But as for you, turn and take your journey into the wilderness by the Way of the Red Sea.’
41 “Then you answered and said to me, ‘We have sinned against the Lord; we will go up and fight, just as the Lord our God commanded us.’ And when everyone of you had girded on his weapons of war, you were ready to go up into the mountain.
42 “And the Lord said to me, ‘Tell them, “Do not go up nor fight, for I am not among you; lest you be defeated before your enemies.” ’ 43 So I spoke to you; yet you would not listen, but rebelled against the command of the Lord, and presumptuously[l] went up into the mountain. 44 And the Amorites who dwelt in that mountain came out against you and chased you as bees do, and drove you back from Seir to Hormah. 45 Then you returned and wept before the Lord, but the Lord would not listen to your voice nor give ear to you.
46 “So you remained in Kadesh many days, according to the days that you spent there.

Mark 6:30-45
30Then the apostles gathered to Jesus and told Him all things, both what they had done and what they had taught.31And He said to them, "Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest awhile." For there were many coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat.32So they departed to a deserted place in the boat by themselves.33But the multitudes saw them departing, and many knew Him and ran there on foot from all the cities. They arrived before them and came together to Him.34And Jesus, when He came out, saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion for them, because they were like sheep not having a shepherd. So He began to teach them many things.35When the day was now far spent, His disciples came to Him and said, "This is a deserted place, and already the hour is late.36Send them away, that they may go into the surrounding country and villages and buy themselves bread; for they have nothing to eat.37But He answered and said to them, "You give them something to eat." And they said to Him, "Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread and give them something to eat?"38But He said to them, "How many loaves do you have? Go and see." And when they found out they said, "Five, and two fish."39Then He commanded them to make them all sit down in groups on the green grass.40So they sat down in ranks, in hundreds and in fifties.41And when He had taken the five loaves and the two fish, He looked up to heaven, blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and the two fish He divided among them all.42So they all ate and were filled.43And they took up twelve baskets full of fragments and of the fish.44Now those who had eaten the loaves were about five thousand men.45Immediately He made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, to Bethsaida, while He sent the multitude away.
Hebrews 11:33-12:2
33who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,34quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.35Women received their dead raised to life again. Others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection.36Still others had trial of mockings and scourgings, yes, and of chains and imprisonment.37They were stoned, they were sawn in two, were tempted, were slain with the sword. They wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, tormented-38of whom the world was not worthy. They wandered in deserts and mountains, in dens and caves of the earth.39And all these, having obtained a good testimony through faith, did not receivethe promise,40God having provided something better for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us.1Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,2looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that wasset before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Descendants of the Stars and the Gods

Tumblr media
Chapter 3: The 7 who Disobeyed Master
The stars weren't the first of Zeus's creations to rebel against him no... it all started with Prometheus...the one who created man and rebelled against Zeus himself. He was different from the other immortals; he a titan who has a passion for his creations. Most Gods have passion in their skill I mean look at Ares and his love of watching men fight to the death. Or Aphrodite and her many lovers. Or Hera being a faithful wife to her cheating husband. But what made Prometheus different was that he cared for mortals. None of the Gods really cared about them. They were just people to use so that they can be worship and dispose of them as they pleased. Prometheus loved his creation so much that he defied his own king for them. First, he stole food from the king and then gave it to the humans. He stole fire so that they wouldn't be cold. But what happens to those who defy God? Easy they get punished for their actions.
Zeus had gotten chains Prometheus to a mountain and every day an eagle swoops in and devours his liver. Since Prometheus was immortal his liver grew back every night however the eagle came back the next day to eat it again and again. Prometheus would have to deal with his cycle for all eternity.
But Zeus didn't stop there no. He wanted to get back at Man for their disobedience as well. So he created the most tempting thing for a man. He created Pandora as the first woman. The one who will be the cause of their pain and destruction. Pandora was sculpted by Hephaestus, given the beauty of Aphrodite, was taught trickery and was given her name by Hermes. Pan meaning all and Dora meaning gift together it means all giving.
Pandora was a sight to behold all men but she wasn't given to them for that purpose. See Zeus decides to give Pandora to Prometheus's brother Epimetheus. Epimetheus was earlier warned by Prometheus to never take a gift from the Gods but he didn't think of it and excepted Pandora. As a wedding present, Pandora was given a small box porcelain box and was told to never open it. Of course, she opened it, after months of desire and temptation she finally cracked and she released death upon mankind. All the evils were released into the world all except for the seven of us. Well, Hope was there too but she wasn't that important.
Wrath, Gluttony, Lust, Sloth, Pride, Envy, and I Greed. We are chaos we thrive from the disaster we're the Destroyers of man. But Pandora shut the box and we were stuck in there until she came.
Tumblr media
I remembered how she looked from her dark skin and curly hair all the way to her smooth face and dark brown eyes. When she asked the seven of us if we wanted to help her in the war I couldn't say no, she was too beautiful to say no to. The war was a blur but I knew for a fact all seven of us died on the battlefield. How? Because we were reborn again. And because we rebelled against the Gods we were sent down to Tartarus to spend our days here for all eternity. Which leaves you all caught up to this day.
"I'm soooo bored" Jooheon sighs leaning onto my shoulder "why are you leaning on me?" I ask turning to look at him.
Tumblr media
"Why are you thinking Kihyunnie?" I get up making him fall onto the floor and I chuckle as I watch him groan in pain. "oh come on let me lay on you or play a game with me something!"
"There's nothing to play here and you know that"
"We can play Truth or Dare!"
"We play that all the time!"
"Fuck mary kill?"
"No, I don't wanna play games. Go bother Hyungwon or Minhyuk" I rolled my eyes and turned away from him. But he quickly followed me.
"I already did! They told me to bother you!"
"Then go to Shownu"
"He's sleeping!" Figures...Shownu is always sleeping, but I guess that was his Sin. "Did you ask Chang-Kyun?" He shook his head no and went to bother him. Thank the Gods he's gone...The last thing I need is Jooheon bothering me. Honestly, I don't know how long we've been here. We stopped counting after ten thousand years after the war. But then again time doesn't exist for our demons, Gods, even the steller spirits. Why? Because time is infinite and it's only a thing for mortals, they don't really live long life spans which makes me pity them. At first, we didn't know what happened to us after we were reborn but after some years we finally got it to piece by piece.
"Kihyun, we have to go," Hyungwon says coming into my room. "Where are we-
"Hades wants to speak with us"
"Who did he send?"
"Thanatos" I shouldn't be surprised Hades does really like to send after Hermes, A. He's too busy B. Hermes can be annoying and C. He'll lose us in a matter of seconds especially Jooheon. Thanatos was completely different. He was more serious about his job the only soul he's ever lost was Sysifus but that's only because he was a really clever mortal. We greet Thanatos as he puts us in our chains, you can never be too careful with us demons. Or at least that's what Hades last said to us when he wanted to meet with us.
"Hades to what pleasure do we have of meeting you again!" Jooheon laughed making his joke as Hades didn't look to pleased with it. Hades was a really stern man but from what I can tell he enjoys his job until mortals or something like Jooheon gets on his nerves.
Tumblr media
"Why are we here this is disturbing my napping session," Shownu says
Tumblr media
"Yeah I was also busy doing something as well" Wonho also says
"Busy? Oh please, you guys don't do anything but sit around your prison and Shownu all you do is see the mortal realm through your dreams" Shownu didn't like Hades comments one bit. Shownu can see the outer world in his dreams but he doesn't really like for people to know his dreams. I only just so happen to stumble upon him talking to a mortal. So for Hades to know what he's doing in his dreams was an invasion of his privacy.
"If this what you wanted to talk about then can we leave?" Wonho glared at him.
Tumblr media
"That's not what I wanted but you may leave if that's what you wish"
"Alright, Thanatos put us in our chains" Jooheon called as the god of death returned. It wasn't until we were in our chains that Hades spoke up.
"But don't you all want to hear the proposition I, Athena, and Zeus have for you all?" We then all turned to him. Proposition? From the Gods? It was a tempting offer, I don't trust it. Not one bit.
"Nah we'll pass," Shownu says and we all agreed with him.
"So this is how you want to spend your eternity in Tartarus. Forever? You all don't want to be free?" If there was something we hated it was that we were put here. To spend our days here with each other to never see anything or anyone else but us. But freedom came with a price.
"Freedom comes with a price does it not?" Jooheon snapped eyes turning yellow as he glares at the God.
"There is no price all you have to do is go to school and swear your loyalty to Zeus" and there it was the golden answer. However Hades left off some details, there was more to it and even more of a reason not to trust the Gods.
"We W-"
"We'll do it" Chang-Kyun cuts off Shownu and hurries up to speak. We all could believe him, how stupid could he be.
"We will go to school, and swear our loyalty to the king of the Gods" Chang-Kyun said as Shownu was about to speak up again Chaekyhun quickly shut him down. Hades, on the other hand, was dealing with something else.
"Yes. I'll be there soon. Thanatos take them back and you boys start Next week!" Hades said rushing off and Thanatos already being here taking us home. When we get there and Thanatos leaves Shownu quickly lunges at Chang-Kyun.
"What the hell did you sign us up for!" Shownu yells as Changkyun has this big smirk on his face. "He's not the only one who's upset, how could you decide our fate like that!" Minhyuk's voice spoke in irritation.
"Swear our loyalty? Why the hell do we need to swear our loyalty!"
"Trust me I have a plan," Changkyun says but I wasn't having it. There was something more to this.
"What is your fucking plan then huh?" I say trying to be cool as winter. I swear if it's some dumb shit I'm going to beat the shit.
"Revenge" it was at this moment we all wanted to kill that piece of shit. I walk over to him and smack him dead on the spot.
Tumblr media
̈Piloting against the gods? Only a fool would do such a thing we could end up back here or worse we could never be reborn again!” I lash out at him but this time he gets up.
̈ ̈Kihyun!̈ Jooheon yells but I didn't care. I stood there in Changkyun ́s face as he stared at him with pure shock. I've never been the type to hit any of the boys but this was my tipping point. Revenge? Was he insane?
"Oh come on Kihyun after all the gods have done you want to stay here for something we didn't even do. The gods stole our lives away we had families Hyungwon was a king, and you had what? Two kids and a wife and Zeus stole now you wanna stay here in this prison ̈
"don't talk about my wife or my kids! We already had our chance and look at where we ended up! I'd rather be here than dead!"
"Kihyun is right. We had our chance we should let it go" Shownu says telling me to back away from Changkyun.
"I can't" Hyungwon shakes his head "Changkyun is right.  We can't let the Gods get away with what they did to us" Minhyuk stated
"I have to agree at first I thought to commit such a treasonous act was beneath me, but as I look back why would I sit here in such place for all eternity when I can be sitting in the heavens" Hyungwon smirks at his idea.  I'm not surprised he'd always do something to his own personal gain.
"Alright, Hyungwon and Minhyuk agree what about you Wonho, Jooheon?"
"He's right. If we get closer to the Gods we find their weakness we could beat them" Wonho says which leaves Jooheon to decide.
"I don't know. Revenge sounds nice, at first I forgot where I came from. But if I go through with this I don't think we'd come back here or live at all on that matter" Jooheon admits in which he's right. Revenge would be the best thing for their already damned souls but they don't even know if they'll succeed let alone survive if the Gods find out they'll be in their wrath. Shownu thinks for more than five minutes. He's so in thought we don't want to throw off his concentration.
"Alright. Changkyun as much as Kihyun and I don't like your idea. We're bounded by each other and we always have each other's backs. The majority voted for you Jooheon is neutral and it's just me and Kihyun so we might as well join you and this plan.  However, if there's any sort of sign that your plan is going nowhere we're backing out of it. And NEVER go back to such an idea" that whole speech is what brought me to school for the Gods.
A week or so later we showed up at school. We didn't have any bags to pack. Hades had a dorm hall for us thanks for that I could never live the children of the enemy going to school with them was enough. The morning before we were taken by Thanatos Hermes came with outfits for us. They were from the goddess of love herself. She said she didn't want us to look like we had just got out of prison. It's so Ironic haha that we are getting out of prison! Like what did she expect? Then Persephone sent each of us some clone for our personal sent. Then we got hair cuts from Athena. It was like we were dogs being groomed for some disgusting pageant. What happened later was the icing on the cake. Our pledge to The Gods. It made me sick to sit through such a degrading thing. Of course, it was all a lie for our true plan but still, I hated it.
I was ready for school and every other change that was going to piss me off. And what do you know it did. The school was so big and the campus was enormous these kids were spoiled by the Gods. It was ridiculous. I hated it here and I wanted to go back to the shit hole in hell. That was until I saw her again. At first I couldn't believe it. I thought she was dead but she survived after all. But what was she doing here? It's for Gods, Goddess, and the seven of us only. I then walk ahead of the guys and "accidentally" bump into her.
"I'm sorry I wasn't looking!" As soon I heard her voice I knew it wasn't her but who was she? And why does she look like Gem?

All the News You Didn’t Even Know Was Going Down
It's Going Down | IT'S GOING DOWN | March 9th 2017
The post All the News You Didn’t Even Know Was Going Down appeared first on IT'S GOING DOWN.
This was a busy week.
Trump rolled out a new version of the Muslim Ban in a new executive order as attacks and deportation of immigrants ramped up – both of which led to various protests and demonstrations. Meanwhile, the State itself has entered into its latest shoving match, putting the FBI, Justice Department, and Trump regime at odds over claims that Obama tapped the Cheeto’s phone. Meanwhile, Ben Carson made himself look like Ben Carson, the Women’s Strike kicked off, threats of trade war with China loomed, WikiLeaks revealed yet another vast CIA spying ring, the Republicans rolled out a p...
roposal for an even worse replacement for Obamacare, at home far-Right terror attacks continued, and the police in Sacramento, CA have pushed the DA to charge upwards of 106 people for taking part in anti-fascist clashes on June 26th against the neo-Nazi group, the Traditionalist Worker Party.
With all that in mind, let’s get to the news.
Trump that Regime
This week, the US installed a new missile system in South Korea as it pondered regime change in North Korea and prompted China to threaten an arms race, while at home Trump announced that Obama had bugged his phones, though citing no evidence whatsoever. This claim has set off a tug-of-war within the State itself, as the FBI put pressure on the Justice Department to deny these claims while the White House has remained tight-lipped.
Meanwhile, Republicans have rolled out their proposed plans for replacing Obamacare, which includes all of the worst aspects of ACA and added new horrific qualities while threatening Medicaid for the poor. As Kate Randall wrote:
The proposed Republican plan repeals the ACA’s mandate, which requires those without insurance to obtain coverage from a private insurer under threat of a tax penalty. It also repeals the requirement that large companies provide health care to their employees. It replaces the ACA’s subsidies to help low- and middle-income people pay the cost of premiums with fixed tax credits based on age.
The most important changes involve Medicaid, the health insurance program for the poor as well as some elderly and disabled people, which is jointly administered by the federal government and the states. Beginning in 2020, the Republican plan would convert federal funding for Medicaid to a per capita allotment, as well as end the ACA’s expansion of Medicaid. This will undoubtedly lead to a reduction in benefits for those who qualify, as well as higher rates of uninsured poor people.
The American Health Care Act draft legislation capitalizes on the reactionary features of Obamacare–rising premiums and deductibles, lack of choice of insurers, narrowing networks of doctors and other providers, penalties for being uninsured–by offering up a plan that is even more heavily skewed in the interests of the health care industry and the wealthy.
While the Republican plan would eliminate the mandate and tax penalty, it would still penalize people who don’t have insurance. If consumers allowed their coverage to lapse for as long as two months–due to a job loss or other unforeseen interruption–insurers would be required to charge them a 30 percent penalty when they bought a health plan.
While many have panned ‘Trumpcare,’ and called it dead in the water, the reality is that the elites want to gut all lifelines and support programs from the poor and working-class while distributing wealth back up to the extremely wealthy.
Bill Moyers this week put Trump’s class war agenda front and center, and shook off claims of Trump or Bannon’s ‘populism’:
A glance at the membership of the president’s Strategic and Policy Forum shows they are flocking to his side, with masters of financial buccaneering like Stephen Schwarzman of the Blackstone Group and Jamie Dimon of JPMorgan Chase, along with Doug McMillon of retail giant Walmart. There is even an ex-governor of the Federal Reserve Board, Bush appointee Kevin Warsh. This is hardly a populist revolution of the kind preached by John Steinbeck’s Tom Joad.
Trump’s senior government appointments reinforce this impression: his Cabinet, filled with moguls from Big Oil, mega-banking, investment and retail, makes George W. Bush’s Cabinet look like a Bolshevik workers’ council. Even Steve Bannon, Trump’s “alt-right” Svengali, is an alumnus of Goldman Sachs, whose stock has surged 38 percent since the election. The fact that America’s premier corporate raider, Carl Icahn, will be special adviser on regulatory reform, and that Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin was a Goldman executive for 16 years, does not inspire confidence that economic management will be different from that which piloted us into the 2008 crash.
Trump’s $6.2 trillion in planned tax cuts are the Bush policy on steroids, and are potentially three times the magnitude of the 10-year cost of Bush’s cuts. Because they are heavily targeted at the rich—47 percent of the cuts will go to the top 1 percent—they will exacerbate income inequality, which is already at its highest level since the 1920s. The tax-relief crumbs for low-income earners will be nullified or made worse by an assault on the minimum wage. Assistance to the poor and near-poor could be further eroded by a reduction in Medicaid benefits (already in the works, courtesy of Speaker Paul Ryan and the Republican Congress). These actions will exacerbate the ongoing trend toward jobs without benefits.
Despite their windfall from Trump’s tax policies, the rich will only be able to consume so many filet mignons, Sub-Zero refrigerators and Patek-Philippe watches before reaching satiation. The rest of their tax cut dividend will go into lifting the equities market to stratospheric levels or building palatial monuments in Glen Cove, Palm Beach or Palo Alto. Since the tax cuts will be much greater than Bush’s own prodigious fiscal mismanagement, the potential equities and real estate bubble could be a thing to behold. This is anything but a populist economic policy.
Ironically, in the face of Trump’s latest temper tantrum about spying, it has been revealed that the CIA has created a vast web of apparatuses that allow them to better spy on people using cellular devices. According to The New York Times:
WikiLeaks on Tuesday released a significant cache of documents that it said came from a high-security network inside the Central Intelligence Agency. WikiLeaks called the documents Vault 7, and they lay out the capabilities of the agency’s global covert hacking program.
By the end of 2016, the C.I.A. program had 5,000 registered users, including government employees and contractors. And they had produced more than a thousand hacking systems. The agency’s arsenal, the documents indicate, included an array of malware ranging from viruses to clandestine “zero day” vulnerabilities in the software of major companies.
The files have circulated among former United States government hackers and contractors in “an unauthorized manner, one of whom provided WikiLeaks with portions of the archive,” WikiLeaks said.
It goes on to write about the threats to a person’s smartphone:
The software targeted by the hacking program included the most popular smartphone operating systems: Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android.
The C.I.A. hacking initiative had a “mobile devices branch,” which developed an array of attacks on popular smartphones to infect and extract data, including a user’s location, audio and text messages, and to covertly activate a phone’s camera and microphone.
Apple’s iPhone software, according to the documents, was a particular target, including the development of several “zero day” exploits — a term for attacking coding flaws the company would not have known about.
Though Apple has only 15 percent of the global smartphone market, the intensive C.I.A. effort was probably explained by the “popularity of the iPhone among social, political, diplomatic and business elites.”
Even more chilling:
The C.I.A. focused on smartphone operating systems in large part to intercept messages before they could be encrypted, according to the WikiLeaks documents. So by targeting the phone’s underlying software, the C.I.A. was looking to bypass the encryption of WhatsApp, Signal, Telegram, Weibo and other smartphone communications applications.
The Intercept wrote:
In addition to the CIA’s efforts, an FBI hacking division, the Remote Operations Unit, has also been working to discover exploits in iPhones, one of the WikiLeaks documents, the iOS hacking chart, indicates. Last February, while investigating the perpetrator of a mass shooting in San Bernardino, the FBI attempted argued in court that Apple was obligated to give the FBI access to its phones by producing a weakened version of the device’s operating system. If the WikiLeaks documents are authentic, it would appear FBI and other elements of the intelligence community are already deeply involved in discovering their own way into iPhones. The compromise of the documents also calls into question government assurances in the San Bernardino case that any exploit developed by Apple to allow the FBI access to the killer’s phone would never be exposed to criminals or nation states.
The CIA and FBI hacking revelations originate with a trove of more than 8,000 documents released by WikiLeaks, which said the files originated from a CIA network and date from 2013 to 2016. The CIA declined to comment on the documents, which also disclose techniques the CIA allegedly developed to turn so-called smart televisions into listening devices. Apple did not respond to a request for comment, and Google declined to comment, though indicated it was actively investigating the revelations.
However in another article they also pointed out in regards to the Signal app:
Contrary to the clear implication from these journalists and news sources, the documents WikiLeaks published do not appear to show any attack specific to Signal or WhatsApp, but rather a means of hijacking your entire phone, which would of course “bypass” encrypted chat apps because it thwarts virtually all other security systems on the device, granting total remote access to the CIA.
The Wikileaks dump also includes information about CIA malware that can hack, and remotely spy on and control, computers running Windows, macOS, and Linux. Which means that it’s also true that the CIA can bypass PGP email encryption on your computer. And the CIA can bypass your VPN. And the CIA can see everything you’re doing in Tor Browser. All of these things can be inferred by the documents, but that doesn’t mean using PGP, VPNs, or Tor Browser isn’t safe. Basically, if the CIA can hack a device and gain full control of it — whether it’s a smartphone, a laptop, or a TV with a microphone — they can spy on everything that happens on that device. Saying Signal is bypassed because the CIA has control of the entire device Signal is installed on is akin to saying the diary you keep in your bedside table is vulnerable because the CIA has the ability to break into your house. It’s true, technically, but not exactly a revelation, and odd to fixate on to the exclusion of other vulnerable items.
White House Statement Lifts Paragraph from ExxonMobil Press Release https://t.co/vLVg4pu0IE pic.twitter.com/ew9nqo44cY
— Democracy Now! (@democracynow) March 8, 2017
Lastly, Democracy Now and the Washington Post reported:
On Monday, the White House issued a statement on ExxonMobil that includes an entire paragraph lifted from an ExxonMobil press release issued less than an hour earlier. The paragraph, which celebrates ExxonMobil’s investments in new oil refineries and chemical manufacturing projects, was first noticed by a Washington Post reporter who posted the side-by-side comparison on Twitter. The ExxonMobil press release was issued at 3:10 p.m., and the White House statement was sent to reporters at 3:44 p.m. Besides small copy editing changes, the paragraphs differ by only one word: The ExxonMobil release calls its project the “Growing the Gulf expansion program,” while the White House statement calls it the “Growing the Gulf program.” The final sentence of the White House statement is also nearly identical to one in the ExxonMobil release, which claims the projects will create “many more jobs.” Longtime ExxonMobil CEO Rex Tillerson is now secretary of state.
Fire to the Patriarchy
In Texas:
Today, just a month after a federal judge in Austin blocked a new state health department rule that would require women bury aborted or miscarried fetal tissue, lawmakers in the Texas House State Affairs Committee held an hours-long hearing considering a bill that seeks to do exactly that.
The point of the measure is to honor the “dignity of the deceased” and nothing more, said the bill’s sponsor, Republican Rep. Byron Cook. “Let me be clear: This bill has nothing to do with the abortion procedure whatsoever.”
Of course the bill does directly impact the provision of abortion and women seeking such care, as noted by Judge Sam Sparks in a strongly worded January 27 order blocking the Department of Health Services rule. While state lawyers have argued that U.S. Supreme Court precedent protects Texas’ ability to pass a measure that demonstrates its interest in “potential life,” Sparks wrote that desire couldn’t justify a rule that relates to the disposal of aborted or miscarried tissue, an activity that occurs “when there is no potential life to protect.”
Across the world, actions for International Women’s Day and the Global Women’s Strike took place and despite many of the events being controlled or managed by hacks associated with non-profits or the Democratic Party, autonomous, anarchist, and militant feminist actions still shown through:

Muslim Ban and Attacks on Immigrants Lead to Protests
This week Trump rolled out a new version of the Muslim Travel ban:
US President Donald Trump issued a revised executive order banning travel from six majority-Muslim countries and halting all refugee entry into the United States for the next 120 days. The order revokes and replaces Executive Order 13769, signed by Trump January 27, which was struck down as unconstitutional by several federal courts.
The revised order targets six of the countries named in the previous order—Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen—but exempts the seventh country, Iraq. This was after objections from the Pentagon, which feared widespread popular anger in the country where 6,000 US troops are deployed alongside tens of thousands of Iraqi army and militia forces in the ongoing conflict with Islamic State guerrillas.
The order omits several of the most flagrantly illegal and unconstitutional provisions of the earlier order, including a specific preference for “minority religious groups,” which in the context of Muslim-majority countries meant overt discrimination against Muslims.
Unlike the first order, the travel ban is prospective only: it freezes new applications for visas for the next 90 days, but has no effect on current visas, or on US legal residents (green card holders) coming back from visits to one of the six targeted countries. There will be no mass cancellation of visas, as was the case under the initial draft of the order.
That said, the reactionary and anti-democratic character of the order remains, with the main immediate effect felt by refugees, who will make up the vast majority of those denied entry to the United States, rather than travelers.
The ACLU wrote:
President Trump’s intentions regarding the Muslim ban have been clear. In a statement “ON PREVENTING MUSLIM IMMIGRATION” posted to his campaign website — and still available on it as I write — then-candidate Trump called for “a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States.” Again and again, he refused to disown this proposal, expressing his opinion that “Islam hates us” and that there are “problems with Muslims coming into the country.”
Democracy Now reported:
An Afghan couple and their three young children have been released after being detained at the Los Angeles airport Thursday and held in custody over the weekend despite having valid visas to enter the U.S. The family all arrived with Special Immigrant Visas, which they had received because the father had worked for the U.S. government in Afghanistan.

— Carl P. DeLuca, Esq (@DeLucaAttorney) March 9, 2017
Meanwhile, deportations continued to led to protests, including the case of Rómulo Avelica-González:
Rómulo Avelica-González is the 48-year-old father of four US citizen daughters. He was seized by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents on February 28 while dropping his daughter Fatima off at school. Fatima recorded the arrest on a mobile phone, and the video has been viewed hundreds of thousands of times.
Rómulo is currently being held at a detention center in Adelanto, California. The facility is under quarantine for a measles outbreak, and his family has not been allowed to visit him.
In Santa Cruz, where there has been recent heavy handed ICE activity, it has just come out that an DHS/ICE agent has been embedded within the local police.
In Santa Ana, people have pushed back against ICE:
ICE confirmed they sent Santa Ana officials written notification on Feb. 23 advising them the agency intends to terminate its detention contract in 90 days. The Santa Ana ICE facility announcement comes just weeks after a series of immigration raids across the country left immigrant communities reeling with fear and anxiety. But now that ICE has announced they’re leaving the Santa Ana facility, the activists have been reinvigorated and have a new set of demands for the city officials that approved the ICE contract in the first place.
Trump officials are also now stating that ICE officials will implement radical changes for how the State will deal with families that are apprehended at the border. As MSNBC reported:
The plan is part of a new set of policies for those apprehended at the border that would make good on President Trump’s campaign promise to end the practice critics call “catch and release.”
“If implemented, this expansion in immigration detention would be the fastest and largest in our country’s history,” says Andrew Free, an immigration lawyer in Nashville who represents clients applying for asylum. “And my worry is it’ll be permanent. Once those beds are in place they’ll never go away.”
Reached by phone, Lafferty said he was not authorized to speak on the matter. The Department of Homeland Security has not responded to a request for comment.
The plans for the expansion reflect the Trump administration’s planned overhaul of U.S. policy for dealing women and children seeking asylum, thousands of whom continue to show up at the southern border fleeing violence, vengeance and sexual assault in Central America.
Under the plan under consideration, DHS would break from the current policy keeping families together. Instead, it would separate women and children after they’ve been detained – leaving mothers to choose between returning to their country of origin with their children, or being separated from their children while staying in detention to pursue their asylum claim.
In the background, news of mass roundups and incarceration has also meant potential mass profits for certain corporations:
President Donald Trump’s tough-on-immigration agenda has been a boon for the for-profit detention industry, which months ago was facing lost government contracts and waves of negative press. This administration’s insistence on a zero-tolerance illegal immigrant policy, which aspires to undo some, if not all, of President Obama’s Executive Orders, has helped prison stocks return to levels comparable with prices of mid-August, when the DOJ announced it would move to phase out its use of p

A Message Of Concern
The Merciful Benefactor, The Merciful Redeemer
Out of Respect for Man’s Creator
A Message of Concern
By Imam W. Deen Mohammed 1982,
What would happen if people would sit in churches throughout the world for centuries with the image of an African American man as savior of the world before them?
What would this do to the mind of the world’s children?
What would happen to the world’s children put under a figure of a particular race presented, pitiable, and in pain “the Savior of all men”?
Qur’an, Surah 3, verse 64:
“Say, Oh people of the Book! Come to common terms as between us and you: that we worship none but G-d, that we associate no partner with Him, that we erect not from among ourselves lords and patrons other than G-d. If then they turn back, say ye ‘bear witness that we (at least) are Muslims (bowing to G-d’s Will).’”
Civilized nations should want that their religions be also civilized.
False worship is the worst form of oppression. We are no gods. We are only men, “mortals from the mortals, He (Allah) created.” (Qur’an)Happy Fathers Day weekend brother !
God bless all you do as a father! Send to all the great fathers you know !THE RED SEA
It's Parting
It is reported that God assigned Aaron as a helper to Moses because Moses felt that he could not express himself clearly. Before Moses went to Pharaoh, the Qur'an says, he and Aaron felt a sense of fear. "They (Moses and Aaron) said: Our Lord! We fear lest He hastens with insolence against us or lest he transgresses all bounds." In response, ALLAH not only told them not to fear Pharaoh and his hosts, but He instructed them on how to speak to Pharaoh. ALLAH said, "Fear not for I am with you: I hear and see (everything) ... But speak to him mildly, perchance he may take warning or fear ALLAH" (H.Q. 20:44-46).
Let us understand that Moses was going to debate with the ruler of the greatest nation of that time. He along with Aaron was assigned to debate with the wisest people around. Moses had no army, he had no weapons. Pharaoh had an army, educational institutions, highly skilled and astute doctors of law; mathematicians, philosophers. Moses had to go up against a man who thought he was God. Moses had to confront the very people who built the great pyramids of Gizah, Masters of the physical and human sciences. Moses knew how Pharaoh and his people were; he was raised in Egypt, in the house of Pharaoh. Reflect! Think! Can you imagine what Moses must have felt? Imam W. Deen Muhammad stated in Dallas, Texas (1982)
" .... They (Egyptians) had one of the most elaborate religious orders that history has recorded. We are not talking about savage man. We are not talking about barbaric man. We are talking about an ancient kingdom that knew science, knew medicine, knew chemistry, knew physics. We are talking about the ancient kingdom that made the first dust pan, that made the first broom, that made the first modern furniture. Some of the modern furniture today does not look any more modern than the furniture that they have in the museum of Cairo, Egypt, (furniture) that those people made three and four thousand years ago .... So we are not talking about a shabby society, a shabby nation. We are talking about an advanced, well established nation; a nation that boasted in its material accomplishments, in its industry. A nation that boasted in its sciences, a nation from which we trace our own science which we call psychology."
According to the story, Moses went to Pharaoh and delivered the message. Pharaoh in turn became'very arrogant and said, "Who is the Lord, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I knew not the Lord, neither will I let Israel go." (Exodus 5: 2).
It is reported that Pharaoh made his slaves make bricks from straw and mud, which means that they had to develop or arrive at solid, biological, concrete truth, from hollow, unbalanced and unstabled concepts. The Qur'an says that Pharaoh became so arrogant and conceited until he told his builders to erect him a tower because he wanted to go up into the heaven and find the mystery God. "And Pharaoh said: 0 Chiefs! I know not that ye have a God other than me, so kindle for me (a fire) 0 Haman, to bake the mud; and set up for me a lofty tower in order that I may survey the God of Moses; and Lo! I deem him of the liars" (28:38). Pharaoh thought he was God in the flesh. He thought he was the owner, the maker, the cream of the planet earth, God of the universe. Pharaoh said to Moses, " .. .I consider thee, indeed to have been worked upon by sorcery!" "Then he (Pharaoh) collected his men and made a proclamation, saying "I am your Lord, Most High ." (H.Q.79: 23,24).
After Moses showed Pharaoh some of the knowledge he had received from God, Pharaoh claimed that Moses was well versed in magic and he said, "If indeed thou hast come with a sign, show it forth--if thou tellest the truth." Then (Moses) threw his rod, and behold! it was serpent plain (for all to see)! And he drew out his hand, and behold! It was white to all beholders! Said the Chiefs of the people of Pharaoh: "This is indeed a sorcerer well-versed." (H.Q.7:106-109).
It is further reported that Pharaoh sought advise and consultation (that is a sign of a wise man, not a fool). He said, "His (Moses') plan is to get you out of your land: then what is it ye counsel?" They said: "Keep him and his brother in suspense (for a while); and send to the cities men to collect--and bring up to thee all (our) sorcerers well-versed." (H.Q.7:110-112).
The story goes on to say that Moses and Aaron met in the court of Pharaoh's Kingdom. It is reported that Pharaoh had promised his Magicians, socerers, philosophers, wizards, etc. a better and closer place to him in the kingdom if they defeated him. In other words, instead of being in the fields they would be allowed in the house. Before the debate began the question was asked, "who shall go first?" Moses said: "ye be the first to go." So when Pharaoh's men threw their rods down, they began to move like serpents, too. When Aaron threw Moses' rod down it consumed Pharaoh's men's rods. The point here is that there was a strategy used by Moses: he allowed them to show off their knowledge first, and then he showed that the knowledge that he got from the Creator was superior. It has often been asked, "what was the debate concerning, knowledge of what?" An analysis of this event will reveal that they threw the rods down on the earth, which implies that it had to do with the material sciences, or the human sciences, as opposed to the spiritual sciences. A serpent moves on the earth. The Bible tells us that later he raised the rod to the sky or heaven; but in this particular event they cast it on the earth.
The Bible relays the event in these words: "And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the lord had commanded: And Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent. Then Pharaoh also called the wise men, and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. For thy cast down every man his rod, and they become serpents,: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods." (Exodus 7: 10-12).
The Holy Qur'an explains: "So the sorcerers were got together for the appointment of a day well-known, and the people were told: "Are ye (now) assembled? - That we may follow the sorcerers (in religion) if they win?" So when the sorcerers arrived, they said to Pharaoh: "Of course - shall we have a (suitable) reward if we win? He said: "Yea, (and more), --for ye shall in that case be (raised to posts) nearest (to my person)." Moses said to them: "Throw ye - that which ye are about the throw!" So they threw their ropes and their rods, and said: "By the might of Pharaoh, it is we who will certainly win!" Then Moses threw his rod, when, behold it straightway swallows up all the falsehoods which they fake! Then did the sorcerers fall down prostrate in adoration, saying: "We believe in the Lord of the Worlds. The Lord of Moses and Aaron." (26:38-48).
According to the Scriptures Moses and his people eventually left Egypt and wandered in the wilderness in search of the promised land. Pharaoh and his army with chariots and horses had pursued them up to the Red Sea, where Moses raised his rod to the heaven and then pointed down to the water causing it to part for Moses and his people.
SYMBOLIC MEANING OF PARTING OF THE RED SEA
The Scripture says Pharaoh's army drowned in the red sea.
Symbolically the chariot represents a principle or method of controlling human drives and behavior (horses). The horses represent human drives, human motivations and human behavior that are blind. Blinders are put over horses' eyes. Pharaoh was pursuing Moses and his people with human science, he was trying to control their behavior, their human drives and aspirations. Moses' raising the rod to heaven and stretching his hand over the red sea, refers to the great blessing that he received from on high. Raising the rod means that he was using the higher knowledge that he received from ALLAH (God) near the burning bush. Stretching out his hand over the red sea means he passed that knowledge on, he didn't keep it secret. He appealed to the people with higher knowledge of God.
According to Scripture Pharaoh had a small concept of the Creator. He thought he was God. Moses appealed to the red sea(the masses). Red symbolizes anger, activity and life. Blood is red and it is the life of the body. The sea or water alludes to morality and communication. Therefore, red sea symbolizes active, expressive moral life. Moses communicated to these morally active people and they allowed Moses and his people to walk across on dry ground, solid foundation. It is further reported that Pharaoh's army, because they did not have the higher knowledge, were drawn or overtaken by the people. Pharaoh's concept of God and human behavior could not be universally applied. It was too narrow. It was good for Egypt and some surrounding cities, but it was not accepted universally. It was part truth, not whole truth. Modern man should take a lesson from this great event. As long as the leaders of this world try to appeal to the world of man with narrow, extreme nationalist ideas they stand to be toppled. The universal appeal, respect for the Creator, high principles, and human worth can be accepted by all men.
Imam Mustafa El AminA BLACK & WHITE SKIN COLOR WAR
Seeing Black and White skin " knocks you out ."
A lecture with a lesson many need to heed, in 2020. Why ? There is a major attempt to manipulate African Americans into a Black, White skin color war !
Imam WD Mohammed Ramadan Session 2007 ( Just Seeing Black and White Skin Hurts Your Vision ) " Many of them did not even enjoy them because their mind was too small. Their brain was too much like a black-eyed pea. If you get a black eye it means some damage has come here. The blow came to close to the eye or came to the eye. Right? It is not Mohammad Ali. He did not throw that punch. You hit yourself with your ignorant controls. You blackened your own eye. Mr. Fard said don't eat black-eyed peas. I'm eating black-eyed peas. I love them. They taste good.Someone may say, "He's bragging that he does not follow the Nation of Islam's teacher." Yes, I do follow the Nation of Islam's teacher. It is to lead me beyond a black-eyed pea that you buy in a grocery store and see the black-eyed pea in the mind of the black man where his brain has turned out to be nothing but a little black-eyed pea. All his mind is black and white, the black man and the white man. He is nothing but a black-eyed pea in the brain and it hurts his vision. He has had a terrible blow. Now Mr. Fard did not tell you the extent of that black-eye we have. It is so bad it is like we got hit first by Sonny Listen, then by Joe Frazier, then by Muhammad Ali, and the members of the Nation of Islam.
First Posted By Mohammed HassanALL FROM FATHER ADAM
Allah says, in the Quran, that you all are descendants from Adam, and Adam was made from dust. What is Allah telling us this for? To let us know that no man, no race, no ethnic group has any grounds for boasting of a superiority over another. Maybe I could trace my history back to the great history or to the great life of Sinmutsin, the great architect, the great builder who built pyramids for Hatshepsut, the Egyptian queen in ancient Egypt, Maybe I can trace my history — my ancestry back to Mina, the great Pharaoh that started the pyramid building.
The first Bilalian (one of African descent) mentioned in American history is in the late centuries of the Egyptian dynasty. But, the Egyptians themselves say that Mina, the father of pyramid building, was a Bilalian. Why shouldn't he be? Isn't that the continent of Bilalian people? Why shouldn't he have been a Bilalian?
Dear beloved people, the Holy Quran lets us know that we're foolish trying to trace some superiority back in time. You might run into some greatness and superiority, but keep tracing and you're going to run into your inferiority, God shows us, He doesn't tell us. God never gives us the whole history of our existence to let us know how human beings came into existence. He shows us every time a child is born. That baby is born from a thick water—again, the teachings of the Quran— and from the matter that is in the ovaries of the mother. They come together and the baby begins to gradually evolve into human form. He takes on the physical human form in the womb of his mother. But he doesn't become a thinking, growing intelligent being until he's delivered out of his mother into the world of physical messages from God's physical environment and comes under the guidance of his mother and his father, and sisters and brothers of his community.
So, you want to know how you came about? God is showing you every time a baby is born. You want to see your origin? Look at the sperm, and if you can, look at the ovum. You'll find out where you came from.
How should we deal with the question of racism? Deal with it the same way we have to deal with the Bible—with a rational mind. Approach it rationally and scientifically. Treat it with knowledge, not with emotionalism, and explain it so that a child could understand his blackness if he's black or his whiteness if he's white. That's how we have to deal with it.
COLOR: SUPERIOR/INFERIOR?
In our textbooks now, we're trying to get rid of the racist feelings, or prevent racist feelings from coming into the children, by showing Bilalian and Caucasian children living together in peace, working in peace, and playing in peace. Will that do the job? No. Why? Because that's a picture of some people living together. If the racism is in the public that child is going to grow up to see that the book is a contradiction and not the reality. They go to school and the nice pictures are there. The child goes back home and hears the mother saying: "I hate them, honkeys, I hate them white pigs," and the little Caucasian child perhaps hears his old bigoted mother saying: "What they should do is send those niggers back to Africa; or enslave them all again." What effect can the book have when the real world is full of racism? No effect. And you can't change people by simply creating a picture of what you want.
The way to change it is to teach the people to follow truth, to obey truth, to respect truth and follow it. Teach them to interpret and understand problems of racism as a doctor of anthropology would understand it. The facts that speak to racism from anthropology, from our sciences, are not above the heads of the elementary child, or the high school student. We have to design textbooks that deal with racism in a scientific way. We have to tell children at a very early age the truth about the origin of their color, the texture of their hair, their features and everything. You might say, well, do we know anything about that? Yes, we do. Get a good book on anthropology. Study physiology, and you'll see that a lot of these explanations are given in the books that we have presently.
We know that the sun is the painter that paints the color of creation. The sun gives color to the flowers, to the plants, to the animals, even to stones, and the sun has given us our color. Your whole make-up-how you look, your colors, your features, the texture of your hair, and your skin, everything—is determined by your physical environment. What you eat, what you drink, the climate where you live, the temperature; the dryness of the air or the humidity in the air; the cold and the heat, the intensity of the sun—all of these things form color and shape, plus language.
Even your language gives shape or gives features to your face. If you speak a language that's greatly different, then you're going to look different even though you have the same climate. Everything else can be the same, but if the language is greatly different, then the people in time would have different features because the habit of using your mouth in a certain way is going to make your mouth grow in a certain way.
If you live in a hot climate that is humid, the volume of air, the unit of air has less oxygen in it than the same unit of air in a cold climate that is not as humid. The humidity takes up the space in the air, and the heat expands the molecules of air, and makes the volume have less oxygen in it. In a cold climate the air is condensed, and if it's dry too there is much more oxygen in the same volume of air.
So, the people who come from the tropics— from the humid and hot parts of what we call Africa and the whole tropical belt going around the earth —find those people in that zone and study their features. I've done it. I find that they have broad noses. The Filipinos, many of the Asiatics, Aborigines, and the Africans—broad noses. Occasionally, you will find a Caucasian with a broad nose.
But you'll find many of those people living in the hot and humid climates—the tropical belt—with broad noses. Why? They need a big opening to get enough air. You're hot, you need more air. The air is expanded so you need more volume. The humidity is in it, you'll need more volume. So, your nose, in time...don't think it will happen in one lifetime, but over a period of about a half-million years it can turn a razor sharp Caucasian nose into an Isaac Hayes nose.
All of this talk—"I'm a black man, he's a white man." What are you talking about? What kind of mind do you have? You might be a black man with a boy's mind, or a Caucasian, with a boy's mind, right? Or a dog's mind. That's nothing to brag about. And if I would take a sharp razor and hit your black skin real fast and hard with it, you'll see that you're a white nigger. That's right. If I hit you real hard and fast with a sharp razor and lay that meat open, you'll see white. Is that right? I've seen it happen. Not a razor, but I've seen a black person—more than one, I saw one get a bad wound, a quick wound, and the skin was—the meat was—white. So, he's a white man under that skin.

(as) Disposer of Affairs.THE MEANING OF AR-RAHMAN
By Imam W. Deen Mohammed
(Editor's note: The following is excerpted from a Ta'lim lecture delivered December 15 in Chicago by Imam Muhammad.
Now we come to the names that are given in Qur'an that belong to Allah. The Qur'an says, "La-illaha-illalah, there is no God except Allah." and the Qur'an gives us names that belong to Allah. And the first one Ar-Rahman is given. Ar-Rahmanu means the Gracious. It's translated in different ways in English. Some translations say 'the Gracious,' some say, 'the kind.' If you look up 'kind' in the dictionary it doesn't only mean nice, it also means generous. So, 'kind' and 'generous.' the combination, means niceness and generosity, goodness and generosity.
Some translations have given it as 'beneficent,' which means 'befitting' out of His kindness and grace. That's correct, too. All of these English terms are correct. But understand that the term 'Rahman' means to show mercy. So whatever God does that's good to us is a help to us, is kindness to us, out of His graces. It comes from His mercy.
He's a merciful God. He doesn't like to see His Creatures suffer. He doesn't like to see His creatures experience bad times, and misery, so it is His way to extend mercy to them. He is Ar-Rahman.
THE NEXT NAME THAT is given is Ar-Raheem. These are the two most often repeated names in the Holy Qur'an. In fact; every chapter except the 9th Chapter begins like that.
Bismillah, With the Name of God. Ar-Rahman. Ar-Raheem. the Gracious, the Compassionate, or the Gracious, the Merciful, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
As I have explained, there are different English words and they all can be suitable for the names Ar-Rahman and Ar-Raheem. Ar-Raheem is translated as the Merciful, but some Arabs have translated it to mercy-giving. I hope with a few comments on this name I will be able to make clear to you why some of them feel that to say "the Merciful," is not good enough.
'Ra-hi-mah.' means to show mercy, or give mercy. And this word, 'ar-Rah-ma-nu.' means the one who gives out of His gracious gift, from His bounty, from His great and unlimited resources to His creatures, and He does it out of mercy.
AR-RAHEEM too, has a connection with this word: both have connection with this word.
THIS CONCEPT of God comes from the understanding that before the creature became conscious of its needs. God had already been merciful and kind to that creature.
The baby is in the womb of his or her mother for nine months. We don't believe that it's conscious of its needs. But look at the nice situation that God has put that baby in. It slept on a waterbed before we did. That's a nice situation for that baby. It's shockproof, so if anybody punched the mother's stomach, the water bag cushions it, right? Yes. So we believe that God, before we are even aware that we need something, has already been generous and kind to us.
We come into this world, and we say, 'oh, I'm poor. But it is you who's poor. The world is not poor, the world is rich.
Why are you poor? Either because you are not yet-aware, or you're not yet ready to change your situation and go after the riches, or there are overwhelming forces that are keeping you away from it.
BUT THE world is not poor, God is generous! He has filled the world with all that is rich, more than we can see, more than we consume.
God has already put it here. So He is Gracious. He is Gracious. Ar-Rahmanu, out of His mercy. He is Gracious. Then, Ar-Raheemu. The condition comes now, and God has provided, but His creatures can't see it. Then He comes and makes a way for His creatures to get it against those barriers, odds or obstructions. He comes and opens the way so he can get it. That's the ar-Rahman, ar-Raheem.THE ROBE
Lost Knowledge
Now, let’s continue here. What is the robe symbolic of? Do you recall? Symbolic of the way you use the knowledge, the dress, symbolic of the way you use the knowledge. The sheet is the knowledge, the pages, the script.Remember now, when Jesus was crucified, he lost his robe and they gambled to see who would possess his robe. Now if you understand the meaning of robe, then you should understand that this world doesn’t have the true knowledge, the true use of the knowledge that Jesus gave them.
The knowledge was lost from Jesus’ body and it fell in the hands of crooked sinners. They gambled for it. Not only that, the silver cup, the special cup, it was lost too. Which tells us not only the proper use of the knowledge was lost, but also the moral cleanliness was lost from the religion.Silver chalice I think they call it. Is that what they call it? I think it is called Silver chalice. It was lost from Christianity. So how would they explain this? Ask the preacher next Sunday morning at 11 o’clock. Ask him. Say preacher; please tell me what it means in Christianity when they say that they lost the Silver chalice, the silver cup. Ask the preacher, how they can have the shroud of Jesus, in this city that is called Turin.
When the Bible says that his robe fell into the hands of sinners and they gambled to see who would possess it. So how can they have his robe there? If they have it, sinners gave it to them and if the sinners gave it up, it wasn’t fit to wear. That’s right. That robe wasn’t fit to wear. After it fell into the hands of sinners, who would want to wear it?
What is sweeter than honey?
Let’s continue now, it says he gave them another riddle. And this riddle is: “What is sweeter than honey?” And “What is stronger than a lion?”So he gave two riddles. In fact four parts to it.Second one is, “What is sweeter than honey? What is stronger than a lion?” All right. You know honey means the beauty of pure scripture. How do we know this? We know it because in the Qur’an this word is used. Honey is a good word for scripture. The honey is the essence of the flower and flowers are symbolic of beautiful culture. What is sweeter than the beauty that G-d offers you? What is sweeter than the sweetness that you find in G-d’s pure scripture? That’s what he’s telling them. And what is stronger than a lion? What he’s telling them is that, the east has honey.
They have the beauty of G-d’s revelation. And you have the strength of a lion. I’ve got something that makes you stronger, and I’ve got something to give you to make your doctrine sweeter than their honey. You see this thing? Yes, it’s plain. So he gave them, the Gentile world, the doctrine of love, the love of Christ that was sweeter than the moral and spiritual teachings to weak people, than the pure teachings of the Prophet. It’s sweeter to them … that G-d loves you sinners so much, that he gave his only begotten son, that he should be scorned, mocked, spat on, tortured, crucified, and die and be buried for your sins. Oh that’s sweet to ignorant weak people, sweeter than the truth of G-d’s scripture. So he said what is sweeter than honey? This lie I am going to give you is sweeter than the pure honey of Scripture that the east has.
Cheated Samson out of his heifer
And what is stronger than a lion? This subtle psychology…. (indiscernible) and he himself was going to destroy the Philistines. They have cheated him out of his heifer; I am talking about right now!The Christian Church that he thought would be his heifer betrayed him. Say oh, you can have business, you can have media, you can have this, but you are not going to run our churches. The Gentile doesn’t want any Jews over their churches. If you want to have something, you can have Peter. Go and tutor the Pope in secrecy. He’ll accept it. But these ordinary Gentiles are not going to accept that no Jew rule over them.So you mean to tell me you are not going to give me my heifer? So why don’t you, can’t you all do it through me, can’t you all carry out my orders? No we can’t do it. They are not going to listen to it. Well very good. Well then can I tell you what kind of doctrine you should give to the masses that won’t follow Peter?Yes it’s okay. All right. I’m going to make bread again. I’m going to get on a wheel. I’m going to make Marxism. I’m going to make Communism.I’m going to make the Age of Reason. I’m going to exalt logic. I’ll give them some new flour, is that okay? Well that’s okay. As long as you don’t take over the church. No, I won’t bother the church. Okay. Go on to the wheel again. It’s okay.
Bring society down on me and them
Now listen. After all that he still was not satisfied. Is that right? Yeah look at the story now, remember, he still is not satisfied. So he said, “I am blind, but I got something that they don’t know I’ve got. I got special power, in my arms.” “All I want to do is just have somebody show me to the pillars of the foundation of their society. And if I just can get to the two pillars that hold up the structure of their society, I’m going to bring it down on me and them.”So Samson goes and stands between the two pillars with the help of a little boy. He couldn’t see but he used the help of a little boy. What is the help of that little boy? Psychology. Psychology.
Don’t think it’s another person; he’s not even a person. Persons carry it out, but he’s a knowledge body. Then he goes and he used a little boy, psychology. Don’t human beings use psychology before they use intelligence? That’s why in psychology in this particular context it’s called a little boy. Your little children, before they are able to compete with you on an intelligence plane, they already using psychology on you. So psychology is an early development in the human being. That’s why the Jahcubite’s cousin, Fard Muhammad said Yakub conceived his idea at the age 6, as a little boy, a psychology. He’ll be surprised to know that I know that. I hope he gets this. I understand that he’s back home now. So he’ll get this message, Insha ‘Allah. Now, let me continue. With the help of psychology, he finds his way to the foundations of the new society. And when he gets to the foundation, what does he do? He forms a cross of himself and he begins pressing with all his might. That’s what the Scripture says. Said he pressed with all his might, with all his strength on the pillars, forming of himself a cross. What does this mean? This is more than Trinitarianism, this is the psychology of the mentality that Trinitarianism has produced.
Weaknesses in the mentality that trinitarianism has produced
He has now learned that there are certain weaknesses in the mentality that Trinitarianism has produced. And he knows that he can appeal to their emotions, and he can push in two directions at the same time.He didn’t pull the pillars, he pushed. He can push in opposite directions at the same time. Make one people give in to emotions, and the other people give in to logic. Push them. So that some will become highly emotional and some will become highly logical. And in doing this the logic will act against the emotions, and emotions will act against the logic. The emotional makeup will kill the logic, the logic will offend the emotions, the society will be divided against itself and the pillars will fall. Don’t you know that’s a strategy that is used in this Society? Whenever the hidden evil in the structure is about to be exposed they began firing the society with emotion, sentiment, flower children, love for everybody, crazy kind of sentimentality and emotionalism. They fire it up and build up strong emotions, this is depressing. Now when he does it it’s going to drop the whole thing. If he can be successful and bring in the sentimental and emotional elements against the logic, it’s going to destroy the whole thing. But look, he will certainly, he will be killed, as a knowledge body. He was already blind wasn’t he? What the hell has he lost? Nothing. Once he brings it down, he would start up all over again. Do, ra, mi, fa, sol, la, ti.
By the Grace of G-d, through IWDM, America was not destroyedJust in a few years that have passed us dear people, that scheme has tried to destroy America. But by the grace of G-d, through me, America was not destroyed. Why do I say through me? Because I was the only one that came out when the trend was to go in the form of the cross. When the trend was to become emotional, highly emotional and give one side to dry logic, I came up in the middle of that action and said there is a scheme going on, there is a trick going on.This whole thing is designed to fire up your sentiments, your emotions and topple the society. Somebody must have heard me and believed others who had been talking before I started, and all of it came together to save America. Yes.
See they didn’t believe others who were saying, there is a scheme, there is a hidden scheme. But when I began to speak, they say look, now we know this boy, we’ve been watching this boy since his father raised him up. We know that this boy is not a tool of outside influence. So if he says these things that ring a bell, where did he get it from? We believe maybe G-d is inspiring Wallace D. Mohammed. So they went back to the desk. And they begin to pull out things from the old file and they studied history all over again. And they said that Wallace D. Mohammed is an inspired man, he sees something. And what he is saying is what we’ve heard before. It might be something to it. How else could he get it?
Simple Simon met a pie man on the way to the square
Say oh no, let’s check this thing. Let’s check this thing. Said I’m sorry, you can’t get sixpence today, only one. Sorry, we aren’t buying pies today. We’re buying cakes. You heard that old story of Simple Simon … Simple Simon met a pie man on the way to the square. I think it goes,” … said Simple Simon to the pie man, would you have a sixpence to spare?” And I think he said, “If I was selling sixpence, I wouldn’t be selling pies!” Well, that’s another one of the conspirators’ riddles. And I will tell you what it means. Sixpence means the knowledge behind the scheme. It’s said the man was made on the 6th day. The sixpence is the knowledge behind the scheme. Simon was given seven (7), not six (6). He couldn’t see 6, six (6) was ruling seven (7). But he wanted the six (6).What is the secret in this? Will you tell me please, Mr. Pie man? You know what Pi is? 3.1416, I think it is. It’s a formula for finding the circumference of the earth. It’s a formula for world dominance. Now I’m not saying anything that I didn’t want to say, I know it’s a formula for finding the circumference of a circle. It’s a formula for world dominance.
If I was selling my own secrets you think I’d be selling pies And Peter, the Catholic Church wanted it. But the conspirator wouldn’t give it to them. Said if I was selling my own secrets you think I’d be selling pies? You think I’d be telling you how to get the world, if I was selling the secret to how to get it.I’ll just tell you how to get it; I’m not going to tell you my secret. You get it from me. Yes. All Peter got was some magic beans; he did manage to get those didn’t he? You remember that riddle? Nursery rhyme, whatever you want to call it. Jack and the beanstalk. Yeah. He had Jack, which is nothing again but Peter, or the Western society. Pardon me, I shouldn’t say Peter, not Peter, Jack is not the Catholic Church, it’s the Western society, Protestant society. Catholic Church headquarters is in Rome. This is typical American. Jack is talking about typical America. That’s why we call each other Jack. You know, hey jack, what’s happening Jack?
Yes, so, it was Peter, the Pope who asked them for his sixpence. But Jack, the American Christian society, they asked for magic beans. Well really they didn’t know what to ask for. All they wanted was really to be rescued, because their cow had got so lean, it was about to die.Everything was going bad. And they wanted to know how to bring back life. How can my cows get fat again? How can the society thrive again? So, while they were (wandering) wondering, this funny looking thing jumped out in the road. And he made himself visible and he said, “Magic beans want to buy some magic beans, like to buy some magic beans?” And Jack agreed to give his cow up for the magic beans. I’m showing you that this is not only in Scripture. If it is only in Scripture that means that what I’m talking about may not be existing in the world today. Or maybe it was just a story that was only in Scripture, maybe it was just fiction. But if it’s in the world too, we should listen.
What do the magic beans represent?
Now. Says this little funny thing, man, jumped out, and he talked Jack into giving up his cow for these magic beans. Right. Some of you remember it. He went away with his cow. What do the magic beans represent? A way to, again, to the secret knowledge in Christian religion. A way to the secret knowledge in Christian religion. And dumb Protestant society gave up their lean cow for this heavenly knowledge. What is the lean cow? The lean cow represents what they had before. What did they have before? They had rational growth. The Protestant movement began with an interest in rational growth. Is that right? Yes.
Our knowledge is weak, our cow is lean
They wanted to pursue knowledge. The Catholic Church had suppressed enlightenment, had suppressed education. The people weren’t allowed to learn. The masses couldn’t learn and educate themselves. So a thirst for knowledge came with Martin Luther. Right. And they began to want knowledge to develop their minds. Here comes Jake, Jack pardon me, feeling himself desperately in need of help. We have the interest in rational development of our society, but our knowledge is weak, our cow is lean. We haven’t yet produced anything. We need help. Who would help us?Oh Lord Jesus, help us. We got this logic. But Rome is powerful. We got this logic and Rome is powerful. G-d help us please! Ding, ding. Jahcubite conspirator. I will help you! Would you like to have some magic beans? If I give you my magic beans you’ll have to give me your lean cow. In effect he was saying the same thing that Samson said. I’m going to give you a new world, but you’re going to have to give me the one that you got now. And if you give him the one you got now, when it becomes fat, who does it belong to? Belong to him. He got it. He got it in exchange for the magic beans.
Over the heavenly kingdom was a mean old giant
So he (Jack) went home and planted. Went home and he didn’t know the value of them right? But I think accidentally one fell into the ground right? The thing grew up and it went up, up, up. He saw it going up past his window, he ran out and jumped on it, and the thing took him up into heaven. (It) took him up on the plane of clouds, into a castle that was in the clouds. Right. Yes.There he found a nice old woman that befriended him. But over that heavenly kingdom was a mean old giant. That right? Yes. He said fee, fi, fo, fom, I smell the blood of an Englishman, be he live or be he dead; I’ll grind his bones with my bread. With my bread. Remember bread is of two kinds. Leaven and unleavened. I’ll grind his bones with my bread. So, he managed to escape with the help of this woman up there, old woman who was nice. He managed to escape. Who is the old woman who was nice? Means people in the religious knowledge of the secrets of religion that weren’t corrupt. Didn’t have no evil designs on the world like the conspirators. They shared with him after he got up there. They shared with him some knowledge. Helped him to get the golden knowledge down from heaven.
The Golden knowledge it came from the hen right? The hen who laid golden eggs. But the hen couldn’t lay any golden eggs without music playing. When music played the hen would lay the eggs. The music stopped, the hen stop laying the golden eggs. Which means that the wisdom is tied to music? Do, re, mi, fa, sol, la, ti, do. Do, ra, mi, fa, sol, la, ti, do. Now when he got the musical scheme, he came back down with the hen and the music harp plus the knowledge, and he tied them together, then he had wisdom. He had wisdom to bring back down with the hen, and the music harp right, according to the story. From heaven, he brought back with him, they don’t say heaven, but it is the heaven of religious symbolism — Biblical symbolism. He came back down with the music maker and with the egg layer. You needed both in order to get the wisdom. The golden egg means wisdom. All right.
Giant’s fall from heaven left a big hole in the earth
The giant fell from heaven. Is that right? He was so big and heavy that when he fell he knocked a big hole in the earth, left there a big hole in the earth. The giant was finished. Who was finished? Who is the big giant that was finished? The people in the secret religion. The Pope. The Pope and certain others that I don’t care to name right now, that hoard the secrets of religion. When the Protestant was given the secret way to get it, and when Protestant leadership got it, got their share. Don’t think they got all, they got their share. Catholic got his share yes. Protestant got their share. The conspirators got the whole share. When they got it, the position of superiority of them over American Christian leadership fell. When it fell, it knocked a big hole in the ground. What is that symbolic of? Actually they were not spiritual people, they were material people. And when they fell a big part of the material that they had before was taken out. So much of the material wealth that was under Catholicism, and under other secret conspirators in religion, fell to Jack, to the American Christian Society. Is that right? Yes.Then they began to rise. But they only had magic beans. Magic beans is not knowledge. Magic. The only way you can get it is through magic. You have to have the knowledge of the magic to know how to work them. And, they were secret, so only a few of the Jack people can have them.
Jack: the American Christian society
Let me quickly tell you what Jack represents in the American Christian Society. It represents the intelligent leadership, Jack represents the intelligent leadership. Now Jack is not as long as Jacob. So their knowledge is shorter than Jacob, you see?Jack is a derivative of the word Jacob. Jacob is the origin, Jack is a derivative, derived from Jacob. So Jack is just a short …. they don’t have Jacob that’s long. But they do have enough to enable them to keep this same rhythm going.Rotating events, with a seven note scale, or is it eight. Yes, an eight note scale that goes to seven, and comes back to where it started. Right? Do, ra, mi, fa, sol, la, ti, do, come back to where it started. So they were given knowledge of how to keep society going through these changes, psychological changes.
So America unknowingly, has been going through these changes. Look at the trends, one fad behind another. Pretty soon you are wearing what you wore 20 years ago. Right. Pretty soon you’re dancing the way you danced 20 years ago. You are talking the way you talked 20 years ago. You are thinking the way you thought 20 years ago.So they keep rotating. They have the Jahcubite scheme, but they have only that pie that Jahcubite wanted them to have. Jahcubite sell pies all over the world Jahcubite sell pies all over the world. Sold the Pope a pie. Sold Protestant America a pie. Sold Communists East a pie, called it the red pie. Yes, the red pie. I’m getting ready to let you go now.
What does the red represent? What do they mean red? You say passions? That’s to trick you. Yes,Red means passions in the other octave. It has been played. It’s another octave. It takes on another color, it takes on another dress. It don’t keep the same dress, it says I will sell you changes. You see?Yes, it meant passions in one place, but not passions in Communist Russia, although passions are involved. It means the social life. Red means the social life. What ties me together with my brother? Blood. Blood is red. See. So people, as a social group are tied together first by blood. And they call each other brother, you see. So that’s blood.Red stands for blood. What blood? Human blood. Human blood, according to the Bible, New Testament in particular, should combine with water, which is human spirit, symbolic of human spirit.
Bring the social life too
So people should be spiritual, as well as social, according to the New Testament teaching. You shouldn’t just be blood. Christ Jesus says, “I come not of water only, but of blood also.”What does this mean? It means that before him, the people were all spiritual, but were neglecting the social development of society, the development of the relationship of person-to-person, people to people, communities to communities. He came to bring the blood, means to bring the social life up too, with the spiritual life. This is in the Scripture. So now, if the East has become red, it means that they now have gone to another … see the world was spiritual, and then it became religious. Now they are trying to get it to become all red. No spirituality, take the spirituality out of it. Make it all red, that we are social group and we are born out of materialism, so material concepts should govern us. We shouldn’t have spiritualism in our life. Give up; give out the water, only the red.
Imam W.D. Mohammed (raa)SEVEN LOCKS
The Jahcubite Conspiracy
Seven locks. L-O-C-K-S. You need a key to open a lock. His (Samson) strength was in this, that his knowledge was locked up. Seven locks of hair. His knowledge wasn’t exposed to other people. And the moment he exposed it to Delilah whom he trusted, he lost his strength. Is that right. Yes.All right let’s continue now. Seven locks. Yes. So the locks you understand is a secret knowledge, secret knowledge that runs the course, it’s a knowledge that runs the course and it’s to be repeated (. Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do...) Because once it runs a course, it can’t be…. can’t keep going, you have to start it back over again. You start with doe, re, mi, fa, sol, la, ti. When you get to ti, that’s the cross, now you can’t keep going with the cross, you have to bring in doe again. So you bring in Communism, or something else and you start the world all over again — do, re, mi, fa, sol, la, ti and you bring them to worship the Jahcubite again. And when they caught him, when they catch up with him, can’t keep the tee going, got to stop the worship of the Jahcubite. But start the world all over again with a new knowledge, do, re, and all the way up to ti again. So you keep going from one knowledge that is invented by the Jahcubite conspirators that lead you to the worship of the Jahcubite. Once you catch onto them that you’re worshiping them, they create another knowledge that brings you right to the same place again. So this is the seven locks of Samson that was his strength.
Samson fell in love with the hell he created and got weak But he fell in love so much with Delilah, Delilah is sin and darkness. Samson got weak. He fell in love with the hell he had created for the Gentiles. Delilah wasn’t meant for him to fall in love with. He wasn’t supposed to love Delilah; he was supposed to marry a different girl.So he ends up falling in love with Delilah that he didn’t really want. He didn’t want Delilah. But Delilah kept putting herself in his way. Why because he was raising a whole lot of hell in the world, and hell got so thick in the world, that even Samson couldn’t escape it.So sin and corruption came even against Samson … and the Jewish boys starts getting in the filth and the Jewish girls start going astray, and pretty soon the Jewish community gets disordered. Oh yeah.In love with the corruption that they created for other people. So what they got to do now? Well. Too late. Once the Jewish conspirators get weak for the sins of the wicked environment that they themselves formed, then they began to let out secrets to the people in the sinful environment.
They become drunk with the corruption that they created. And they lose mental fortitude or composure, they lose the composure, they lose the ability to hold in, what they shouldn’t let out. And they began to let out, not by word all the time, by their actions, by the mannerisms. The dark society began to peep their hold card. Ooooh, I see something. Yes, you get too intimate; somebody is going to see something. You see? So the people see. When the people see, then they expose the Jahcubite scheme. When the Jahcubite scheme is exposed, they have no strength. They become like ordinary people. Have no supernatural strength anymore. And their knowledge then is just on a level with our knowledge. So they are in the dark with us. They see no more than we see. So he becomes blind. Samson became blind. He had no superior eyesight. It was no more than the blindness of the society, because they had gotten his special knowledge. You understand? All right.
Samson can produce more fine flour of enlightenment
He’s blind now, and the world begins to use him. Not because they forced it on him. It looks like Samson was forced to do this. That’s all tricks. No, he has no other recourse; he has no other way, no other alternative. They know my secret now. My secret wisdom is of no power to me. Now what I’ll do is show them that I am stronger than an ox. I can grind more corn than their ox.I am going to get at the wheels of their economy. I’m going to get at the wheels of their academic knowledge, schools of thought. I am going to show them,I can produce more fine flour of academic knowledge. I can produce more fine flour of enlightenment. I will show them that I can produce what they want, and they won’t kill me, they will keep me as their workhorse, their ox, to grind the fine flour. So he goes from one conspiracy to another one.He goes underground like the Mafia and the Ku Klux Klan sometimes. And you say, “Oh I don’t see him anymore, they must be gone”. He’s not gone. He’s just grinding flour; he’s going to make bread all over again. And when he makes his bread, he will start again with do and he will go to re, mi, fa, sol, la, ti.
So he can’t see any more than you, but he knows how to grind the flour and he has the strength of the ox. So he grinds the flour of knowledge and he works with you in your blind world, in the darkness, right with you. But in time, he rises to the superior position. He has made him some flour that is special. Oh yes. And he is going to make him some dough that is special. And pretty soon he’s going to have all the bread. And when he gets the bread, he’s going to have the power. And then he will bring in re. And then after he brings in re, the world will come back to him, he would have mi again, and he will bring it on back up to fa, sol, la, ti, and when he gets to ti, he’ll have the world worshiping the Jahcubite again. And this thing continues over and over again, an endless circle. This is the true knowledge of the secret Jahcubite conspiracy. Not from the protocols of Zion. This is straight from the horse’s mouth. And you will find four horses in the Bible.
Imam W.D. Mohammed (raa)THE MEANING OF AR-RAHMAN

Entry 284
“What do you think of this area?” asked James, nodding toward the game.
 “It’s gross!” I happily exclaimed.
Our characters were still in the demon’s repugnant lands, surrounded by vegetation that clearly decayed while still alive.  If Emma could jump inside of the game, she surely would be beating the demon for doing this as she healed the plants.  Fighting her in a lush area would be terrifying if she were serious about hurting me.
“T-the animals are m-missing.” muttered Raine.  Her hand was gently rubbing her kitten, Pufflewink, as she spoke.
“Ah.  Yeah.  They’ve probably been warped and are now following the demon, wherever he is.” explained James, the only one of us to have faced a demon in the game.
“Is he as cute as Raine?” I teased, though I wondered what the world would become if Raine was out to destroy everything.  Well, destroyed, probably.  She certainly would demolish whatever did this if she could hop into the game.
Chuckling, James said, “No, not even close.  He’s quite horrific to behold.”
“That’s good.  I don’t think I could summon up the will to attack Raine, except for hugs.” I replied, wishing she’d lean forward enough for me to see her reactions.
“Att-attack hugs are qui-quite vi-vicious.” mumbled Raine.  She sounded happy, though she could just be excited that we were close to our goal.
“Oh, you know it!” I exclaimed, jumping out of my seat to tickle her while careful not to disturb Pufflewink.
Had Raine wanted, she could have been across the city with her kitten safely in her arms, but she good-naturedly accepted the tickles.
“You’re lucky she didn’t pull the smithing hammer like she did on that goblin.” teased James.
“She uses the frying pan on me.  Doesn’t hurt nearly as much.” I replied.
Still giggling, Raine said, “M-makes a n-nice sound.”  Then she abruptly went silent.
My eyes shot to the screen, and I listened.  The ears of a vampire were sharp, even one as young as me, but Raine’s ears were obviously much, much better.  Seconds passed before I noticed the rumbling.
“C-cosette!  En-enemies!” exclaimed Raine in a loud whisper.
I jumped into my seat, morphing my body to slide into my place without a sound.  Before I was fully seated, I was already moving Madeleine stealthily onward.  If we didn’t manage to get that meteorite, our night had been wasted.  I knew the others were behind me, despite the lack of noise.  As we moved, I caught sight of mutated bears, easily four times the size they should be.  We carefully avoided them, not wanting a confrontation with dangerous-looking opponents right now.
Text appeared on my screen, describing a pungent stench.  Glancing at Raine’s screen, I saw that she was using some item to create the smell.  Minutes ticked by as the bears remained unpleasantly close, despite the stench.  Hopefully, the smell was keeping them from following our scent.  Was dumb luck driving them nearby, or was something else happening?
The front doors of the house opened, and the quiet steps of Portentia approached us, crossing the hall and entering the ballroom where we were gaming.  “Oh wow.  Where are you, guys?” she asked as she inspected our screens.
James took care of replying, explaining what we were doing in sign language, so his voice wouldn’t count as creating noise in the game.  Aaliyah had written this game with seemingly perfect voice recognition.  Even Raine had told me that she had never caught the game mistaking a voice, and she seemed to catch everything.
“I never thought I’d feel so tense playing a game.” I admitted minutes later after letting out the breath I had been holding.  I could hold my breath indefinitely, but the dramatic effect of releasing it loudly was fun.
Portentia laughed and said, “The game is pretty awesome.  I never thought I’d get into a video game till I started.  Looks like you guys are too far away for me to catch up.”
“Oh.  Go to the guild hall.  You can use the traveling stone to come straight to us.” suggested James.
“Nice!” she exclaimed.  “I’ll be right there!”
A few seconds later, James said, “You’re home early.”
He was right.  Portentia’s patrols generally didn’t stop until after sunup.
“Quiet night.  Captured a mugger, but that’s it.” she explained.
The group waited for Portentia to get situated and teleport to us via the traveling stones.  Then we set off again, growing ever closer to the crater.
“Meteors can be pretty small.  How are we going to find it?” asked Portentia.
 “Cr-crater.” stated Raine.
“Yeah.  I guess that makes sense if it’s a big one.” she replied.
“I think we’re almost there.” I told her.  “We’ll show you!”
“Guys, we need to run.” stated James, sounding worried.
 “Noooo!” whined Raine.
I turned Madeleine to see the enormous figure approaching us.  The demon lord was here to steal our prize.
“Gather around, and I’ll use the stone.” ordered James.
“No!” exclaimed Raine, making Nekopawpaw shove her bag at Ignus.
 “What!?” questioned James.
“G-get my m-mats.  I-I’ll show him a r-real d-demon.” replied Raine with more bite in her tone than I had ever heard from her.
James accepted the trade with Ignus, and Nekopawpaw shot off at incredible speed, having drank some type of potion.
“Let’s go!” exclaimed James before making Ignus run.
Portentia and I followed on our characters.  The sky darkened and explosions could be heard in the distance.  Glancing over Raine’s screen led to staring.  Tens of thousands of warped creatures surrounded the enormous demon lord who towered over everything.  Hundreds of them died, caught in the attacks aimed at Nekopawpaw as she dodged around in a continuous blur of  motion, occasionally attacking.
Anyone who hadn’t seen Raine in battle before would be completely shocked.  I was, despite having seen how she distracts enemies numerous times.  The scale was so grandiose compared with what we normally saw that the comparison to normal fighting was laughable.
“James, that’s a tree!” I exclaimed when I looked back at my screen to find Ignus stuck running against a large, dying oak.
I continued to glance over at Raine’s screen as our characters continued on our path.  She did get damaged occasionally, but she instantly had Nekopawpaw drink a potion, healing her to full.
“Raine, can you make it to us?” questioned James after we finally arrived.
 “J-just g-go.” she ordered.
“Have your characters hug the meteorite, or we won’t be able to take it with us.” explained James.
“It’s too heavy to come with us.  Give me a sec.” I replied, seeing how pitifully small my character’s carrying capacity was next to this thing’s weight.  The crater was enormous, and the meteorite itself was quite large.  Even using a spell to increase Madeleine’s strength, she wasn’t contributing enough.
 “U-use a p-potion too.  In m-my b-bag.” muttered Raine.
James quickly passed out potions, which gave a very large boost to carrying capacity.  Being the game’s best crafter, Raine’s personal potions were far beyond what most people could get without buying from her.
“I think that’ll do it.  Hug the stone.” ordered James again once we were buffed.
Nothing happened.  James quickly got on guild chat to get someone to use the hall’s traveling stone.
“No, I’m not mad.  I’m in a hurry.  Nekopawpaw’s soloing a raid boss.  We found the last of the demons, and I need to get her mats to safety.” he explained in chat.
Seconds passed in absolute silence in a guild with thousands currently online.  Then everyone seemed to type at once, far too much text scrolled in my log for me to follow.
“Hey, Mila, could you put Raine’s fight on the guild’s magic mirror?” questioned James aloud once our characters appeared in the guild hall.
“No, master, but I can instruct you how to scry with it.” she replied.
“Good enough.  Let’s do this.” he said..
Several of our guildmates were eyeing the meteorite, but Portentia helped me shoo them away, not wanting an ounce of our friend’s treasure to get stolen.
In guild chat, James typed “No one goes near the meteorite, or you’ll earn Nekopawpaw’s ire.  I’m putting what that entails on the magic mirror for any who doubt me.”
The guild hall was filling rapidly as guild members hurried into the enormous building to join in the excitement.
 “J-James, I-I’m almost… almost out of p-potions.” stated Raine.
“I wondered what you were using to heal.  I would’ve given you mine had I known you needed some.” he replied apologetically.
 “I’ve u-used several h-hundred.” she mumbled.
James visibly winced.  Given the quality she made, her potions sold very well, meaning she just used a small fortune.
“Think you can run away?” he asked.
“I-I… only had o-one speed p-potion, b-but I-I can… try.” she replied, making Nekopawpaw weave through enemies to dodge a giant fist.
“You’re heading the wrong way.” stated James.
“N-no.  I d-don’t want it… f-following me h-home.” she stammered.  Even in a situation like this, she was looking out for everyone.
Striding into the room, Alma asked “What have you guys been doing?”
James nonchalantly told her “Raine’s been demonstrating how to solo a demon.”
“I hardly believed the messages I was receiving, but seeing her… what are those moves?” she asked.
Dodging claws, teeth, horns, and spells as well as enormous fists of a demon lord, Raine happily started explaining which craft granted each move along with the required skill level to use it.  She really did love crafting in the game and wanted others to share her interest.
I knew James and Alma weren’t about to spend hours on end crafting just to learn any of the moves, especially considering that the moves only worked so well because Raine’s crafting skills were incredibly high.
“For someone who abhors violence, you certainly understand it.” stated Alma.
“W-why else would I ab-abhor it.” replied Raine.
James laughed while Alma rolled her eyes.
Portentia and I had gotten out of our seats once people stopped coming near the meteorite.  Seeing things on the guild’s magic mirror was cool, but watching Raine’s screen was even cooler, since we could watch in first person as she dodged around attacks that she could have only known were coming by the sound.
Ai and Mai arrived several minutes later, by which point Raine and the demon lord had left its minions in the dust.
 “What is that?” asked Mai,
Glancing back, I realized that she was looking at my screen instead of Raine’s.
“A meteorite.  The demon was after it too, so Raine decided to distract it while we ran.” explained James.
“You should’ve stayed behind for her.” stated Alma.
“Then the meteorite couldn’t have gone through.” he replied.
“Oh.  I see.  We could go meet her.” suggested Alma.
“Even if everyone drops what they’re doing and comes to join us, do you think we’d stand a chance?” he inquired.
She sighed and said, “No, we would not.”
“I-it’s okay.  W-we have m-my mats!” exclaimed Raine excitedly.
“You mean that I have your mats!” I teased, attempting to laugh villainously.
“Don’t worry, Raine.  I wouldn’t let Cosette steal from you.” stated Portentia as she eyed me sternly.
I jumped at her, missing as she dodged to the left.  “James!  Help!  My food is avoiding me!” I exclaimed, causing my fangs to elongate.
He laughed, and even Alma’s lip twitched slightly.
“Shh…  y-you’re startling Pufflewink.” warned Raine.  A quick blast of energy partially caught Nekopawpaw, damaging her again.  “A-all out.” she muttered, turning to bash the demon lord with a frying pan.  “B-bad demon.”
 “It’s..” started James.
“You dazed it!  Run!” exclaimed Alma, gripping the back of Raine’s chair.
Mila then said, “Wow.  There’s a less than one percent chance of that move ever affecting this demon at your current skill level.  If you dive into the cave northwest of you, the demon won’t be able to follow.”
“There’s a cave?” questioned James, obviously looking for it.
“Oops.  Mother’s going to yell at me for giving away spoilers.” claimed Mila, though she didn’t sound worried.
Raine, however, didn’t hesitate at all, darting Northwest and diving into the cave as soon as she was close.  She pulled out a charm that created light as she moved deeper and deeper with the demon lord clawing at the entrance and collapsing parts of the cave.
“What!?  You’re logging off there?” asked Alma in surprise.
 “I-I w-work soon.” mumbled Raine.
“Oh.  I can try distracting your boss if you like, so you can call in sick.” offered Alma as she smiled at James.
Smiling, Raine said, “Th-thank you, but I-I’ll be okay.  We g-got it!”  When we first met, Raine had rarely smiled.  Even now, her smiles were small, hesitant, but they were much more frequent.
“I’ll see that the meteorite makes it to your shop.” stated James.
Perfectly pleased, Raine got up, thanked everyone again, and headed off toward her room, vanishing with Pufflewink instantly.
“I must say that I am most impressed.” stated Alma.
“Think you could really distract me?” teased James.
“You, my darling, are quite easily distracted.” she replied.
I ignored the two lovebirds as I got back to the game.  The meteorite would need taken to Raine’s shop before any of the more questionable guild members decided small chunks wouldn’t be missed.  I, for one, was really looking forward to seeing what Raine would make.

Entry 285
I had forgotten how vile the lands looked when a demon inhabited them.  I was only human when last I fought one, and my eyes surely did not pick up on all the minute details.  Even knowing Aaliyah as well as I did now, I was deeply impressed by what she created.  The idea of even brushing up the sickly looking foliage was unpleasant, and I could imagine the faint odor of death all too well, having faced a real life necromancer.
I could barely see Raine with how she had pushed farther and farther into her chair.  Cosette was still all cheer, untouched by any horrors in her past.  I worried about Raine.  I would never forget her cowering, hiding under a table from the screams of Mai and being surprised that the screaming wasn’t in her head.  I never asked her why, why would she think that the screams weren’t real.  Was she plagued by the voices of another place?
 “Yes, she is.” stated Aaliyah.
Things were frozen again as Aaliyah casually lounged across my lap, resting her head on the arm of my chair.
“What is she hearing?” I asked.
“She feels the suffering of a god and the cries of his demons, so full of rage and despair that they have no concept of happiness or beauty.” she casually explained in a sing-song voice.
“Have you been there, where they are?” I asked.
She laughed and said, “Of course I’m there, silly.  Even demons die.”
“Can you do something to help Raine?” I questioned.
“I have.  I brought her to you.  You’re doing wonderfully, boss-man, sir.” she claimed.
Shaking my head, I said, “Ha.  There’s so little I can do for anyone.  I’m just lucky Cosette isn’t holding a grudge against me for trying to keep knowledge of her parents’ deaths from her.”
“You’re right about one thing: Cosette doesn’t hold a grudge against you, not even a little one.  I wouldn’t call it luck though.  You’re just too charming, boss-man, sir.” she teased.  “You do help people, all the time.  The ‘little’ you do helps in big ways.”
I looked down into those big, blue eyes of hers.  She was too adorable.  “Why do you choose to look as you do?” I asked.
“Prefer me like this?” she teased, suddenly older and wearing far too little.
“As much as I enjoyed your company as Trix, no.” I firmly told her.
She reverted back to the tiny girl in her mismatched clothes much to my relief.  Then she said, “I was born, I grew, and I became a cyborg.  You remember.  This is me.  I’m my daddy’s little girl.”
“And so many other things.” I stated.
Sitting up, she poked my nose, looked me in the eye, and said, “But always my daddy’s little girl.  He needs me, boss-man, sir.”
“What do you think of this area?” I asked, nodding toward the game.
“It’s gross!” exclaimed Cosette, sounding quite giddy.
Aaliyah was gone.  Things were moving again.
“T-the animals are m-missing.” stated Raine.
“Ah.  Yeah.  They’ve probably been warped and are now following the demon, wherever he is.” I told them.
“Is he as cute as Raine?” teased Cosette.
I chuckled and said, “No, not even close.  He’s quite horrific to behold.”
“That’s good.  I don’t think I could summon up the will to attack Raine, except for hugs.” claimed Cosette.
“Att-attack hugs are qui-quite vi-vicious.” mumbled Raine, but she sounded like she was smiling.
“Oh, you know it!” exclaimed Cosette, just before leaping out of her seat at Raine.
There was much giggling, so I did my best to defend their characters.
“You’re lucky she didn’t pull the smithing hammer like she did on that goblin.” I teased.
“She uses the frying pan on me.  Doesn’t hurt nearly as much.” claimed Cosette.
Giggling more, Raine said, “M-makes a n-nice sound.”  She abruptly went silent.
I looked over at her in concern, realizing a moment later that she was hearing something.  There was movement around us.
“C-Cosette!  En-enemies!” exclaimed Raine in a loud whisper.
Cosette hopped into her seat with casual grace, instantly on the move as she landed.  Without a word, all of us started sneaking along.  We couldn’t talk.  Talking in real life would carry through into the game and alert our foes.  I made my character cast one of his few utility spells, further muffling the sounds of our passage.  I wished I had powerful illusion magic at the moment.  I might be able to incinerate the bears, but there was a chance the demon had granted these ones high fire resistance.
Raine’s character uncorked some sort of vial and dropped liquid behind us.  Text appeared on my screen describing a pungent stench.  I hoped she knew what she was doing.  I caught sight of giant, mutated bears a couple times over the next couple minutes, but we continued avoiding them, not wanting to alert their master of our presence.  He might well remember me.
The front doors of my home swung open, and I heard someone enter.  Portentia was home.  I could tell by her footsteps.
“Oh wow.  Where are you, guys?” she asked shortly after walking into the room.
I turned to her, explaining briefly in sign language.  The game had voice recognition along with other features to ignore extraneous sound, so Portentia’s voice shouldn’t alert enemies, though mine would.
I rapidly signed to my screen, asking Mila to explain in more depth.  She was always watching.  I should’ve thought of asking her sooner.  Another of the large mirrors lit up, showing Mila’s avatar signing away.
More minutes stretched by before the bears finally wandered off.  Cosette breathed out loudly before saying, “I never thought I’d feel so tense playing a game.”
Portentia laughed and said, “The game is pretty awesome.  I never thought I’d get into a video game till I started.  Looks like you guys are too far away for me to catch up.”
“Oh.  Go to the guild hall.  You can use the traveling stone to come straight to us.” I suggested.
“Nice!” she exclaimed.  “I’ll be right there!”
Glancing at the time, I said, “You’re home early.”
“Quiet night.  Captured a mugger, but that’s it.” explained Portentia.
I just nodded.  A single mugger would be a quiet night for her.  Feeling relatively safe where we were, we waited for Portentia to join us.  Once she arrived, the four of us continued toward where the meteor had landed.
“Meteors can be pretty small.  How are we going to find it?” asked Portentia.
 “Cr-crater.” stated Raine.
“Yeah.  I guess that makes sense if it’s a big one.” replied Portentia.
“I think we’re almost there.” asserted Cosette.  “We’ll show you!”
I stopped, catching something out of the corner of my eye.  I turned to look and saw the enormous demon walking toward the same place as us.
“Guys, we need to run.” I insisted.
 “Noooo!” whined Raine.
I could see that she had turned to face it as well.
“Gather around, and I’ll use the stone.” I told them.
“No!” exclaimed Raine.  Her character was shoving her backpack at mine, offering a trade.
 “What!?” I asked.
 “G-get my m-mats.  I-I’ll show him a r-real d-demon.” stated Raine.
I accepted the trade and opened my mouth to talk her out of it, but she was gone.  Her character was far, far faster than mine.  I couldn’t believe how quickly she was gone.
“Let’s go!” I exclaimed, running toward the meteor site.
Portentia and Cosette followed.  We weren’t even halfway there when the sky became even darker.  I could see spells flying from the demon and explosions even after.  I couldn’t believe what I was seeing on Raine’s screen.
The raid boss who wiped over twenty thousand people was getting hit by garden tools, smithing tools, kitchen tools, and a number of things I didn’t even recognize.  The damage was laughable compared with its health but impressive for a single person.  No doubt she had enchanted every last implement.
I hadn’t doubted that Raine’s reaction time was far beyond what any character could manage, but the way her character moved was really bizarre.  She had strange sidesteps that moved her great distances nearly instantly, allowing her to avoid area of effect attacks that I could never dodge.  She had some sort of instant duck move that allowed her to dive under swings at her head with ease.  There was some roll move she used that ended in her character raising its arms as if presenting something.
“James, that’s a tree!” exclaimed Cosette.
Oops.  I hoped I hadn’t been running into the tree for long.  Bit distracted.  Incredibly, Raine was still alive when we finally reached the crater where the meteor had landed, though the demon had called in its minions for reinforcements.
“Raine, can you make it to us?” I asked.
 “J-just g-go.” she ordered.
I told the other two to hug the meteorite
“It’s too heavy to come with us.  Give me a sec.” stated Cosette.  She used a spell to boost our strength.
 “U-use a p-potion too.  In m-my b-bag.” muttered Raine.
I did as she said, passing out strength potions.  I needed to get Raine to make me a new bag.  Hers was vastly larger, mostly filled with crafting materials, but also holding potions, elixirs, and tools.  Still, we were lucky Portentia came home.  Cosette and I wouldn’t have been able to carry the meteorite without her, despite the boosts.  Only items carriable by the group being transported could be taken along.
“I think that’ll do it.  Hug the stone.” I ordered.
Nothing happened.  I quickly typed in guild chat asking who online had the stone from our guild hall.  I really should’ve given the guild a heads up several minutes ago.
“No, I’m not mad.  I’m in a hurry.  Nekopawpaw’s soloing a raid boss.  We found the last of the demons, and I need to get her mats to safety.” I explained in guild chat.
That was the first time I saw guild chat stop moving for any length.  There were several seconds with no response at all.  Then chat erupted back to normal with several people saying they were “on it”, and many more asking if I was messing with them.
“Hey, Mila, could you put Raine’s fight on the guild’s magic mirror?” I asked.
“No, master, but I can instruct you how to scry with it.” she replied.
“Good enough.  Let’s do this.” I told her.
Several of the nearby guildies were already staring at the meteorite, but Cosette and Portentia were guarding it.
In guild chat, I typed “No one goes near the meteorite, or you’ll earn Nekopawpaw’s ire.  I’m putting what that entails on the magic mirror for any who doubt me.”
I was pretty sure most people in the area had hurried over, since the hall was filling quickly.  Guild chat was alive with talk about our prized crafter facing off against a demon.
 “J-James, I-I’m almost… almost out of p-potions.” stated Raine.
“I wondered what you were using to heal.  I would’ve given you mine had I known you needed some.” I told her.
 “I’ve u-used several h-hundred.” she mumbled.
 Ouch.  That was expensive.
“Think you can run away?” I asked.
“I-I… only had o-one speed p-potion, b-but I-I can… try.” she told me, weaving through enemies to dodge a giant fist.
The demon had killed countless of its own minions just trying to kill Raine.  The thing was lucky her character couldn’t keep up with her in real life.  Watching her bonking heads with hammers, pans, and other non-combat implements was somewhat comical as she took off.
“You’re heading the wrong way.” I mentioned.
 “N-no.  I d-don’t want it… f-following me h-home.” she stammered.
I guess that made sense.  I had no idea how far this thing would try following her now.  I’d muster our army, but there simply weren’t enough of us on at the moment to kill it.  Most of our guild wouldn’t even be awake.
“What have you guys been doing?” asked Alma just after running into the room.
I nonchalantly told her “Raine’s been demonstrating how to solo a demon.”
“I hardly believed the messages I was receiving, but seeing her… what are those moves?” she asked.
Nearly at the edge of the demon’s horde with it on her tail, Raine started explaining where various things she was using were obtained.  The strange roll maneuver she had was “Present the Dish.” from cooking.  “Check the Oven” and “Stove Dash” were also from cooking.
As she continued, every last move came from one type of crafting or another, but her crafting skills were far higher than even my combat skills, granting her huge boosts to the effectiveness of the moves.
“For someone who abhors violence, you certainly understand it.” stated Alma.
“W-why else would I ab-abhor it.” replied Raine.
I chuckled even as Alma rolled her eyes.
Cosette and Portentia were both standing by Raine, watching her screen and cheering her on.
Several tense minutes later, Raine was still running, but the demon was too fast.  Luckily, all of its horde was left behind, allowing her to dodge more easily.
“You should’ve stayed behind for her.” stated Alma, gripping my hand.
“Then the meteorite couldn’t have gone through.” I told her.
“Oh.  I see.” she replied.  “We could go meet her.”
“Even if everyone drops what they’re doing and comes to join us, do you think we’d stand a chance?” I asked.
She sighed and said, “No, we would not.”
“I-it’s okay.  W-we have m-my mats!” exclaimed Raine.
“You mean that I have your mats!” teased Cosette, trying to laugh villainously.
“Don’t worry, Raine.  I wouldn’t let Cosette steal from you.” stated Portentia.
Cosette lunged at Portentia, who easily dodged.
“James!  Help!  My food is avoiding me!” exclaimed Cosette, fangs now evident in her mouth.
I caught Alma’s mouth twitch while I started laughing.
“Shh…  y-you’re startling Pufflewink.” warned Raine.
A quick blast of energy partially caught Nekopawpaw, damaging her again.
“A-all out.” muttered Raine.  Then she turned and attacked the demon with a giant frying pan.  “B-bad demon.”
“It’s..” I started, hardly believing the stars now floating around the demon’s head.
“You dazed it!  Run!” exclaimed Alma, gripping the back of Raine’s chair.
Mila then said, “Wow.  There’s a less than one percent chance of that move ever effecting this demon at your current skill level.  If you dive into the cave northwest of you, the demon won’t be able to follow.”
 “There’s a cave?” I asked.
“Oops.  Mother’s going to yell at me for giving away spoilers.” claimed Mila.
Raine hadn’t hesitated at all.  She quickly veered northwest and took off into the cave, using some sort of charm to create light as she hurried deeper.  When she looked back, the demon was clawing at the entrance, ripping it apart and causing part of the cave to collapse.
Guild chat was still busy with people talking about what just happened.  People were cheering her on.
“What!?  You’re logging off there?” demanded Alma, upon seeing Raine hit the logout button.
 “I-I w-work soon.” she mumbled.
“Oh.  I can try distracting your boss if you like, so you can call in sick.” offered Alma.
“Th-thank you, but I-I’ll be okay.  We g-got it!” she exclaimed.
“I’ll see that the meteorite makes it to your shop.” I told her.
She got up, thanked everyone again, and headed off toward her room.
“I must say that I am most impressed.” stated Alma.
“Think you could really distract me?” I teased.
She rolled her eyes before staring up into mine and saying, “You, my darling, are quite easily distracted.”
I had to admit that I felt distracted already.
