JEALOUS ANAKIN FOR THE PROMPT

Here you go, jealous Anakin has so many possibilities! I went with pre getting together.

It wasn't fair. Anakin should be the one sitting next to Obi Wan. Obi Wan was his master, he belonged to Anakin, not the schutta who was leaning into Obi Wan's side, smiling at him like he'd hung the moons.

This was quite typical of the Jedi in Anakin's opinion, to seat a stupid star struck princess next to Obi Wan. The force had chosen Obi Wan for him, it was the will of the force that they were together, but the Jedi were blind to this, with their strictures on attachment and relationships. Anakin listened passively to their lessons - lectures - he had no desire to have entanglements as they put it, all he wanted was what was already his: Obi Wan Kenobi.

So of course Obi Wan was seated next to the visiting princess of whatever system in the inner core. Anakin was so bored by her he'd not even taken in her home planet. She was a typical core world rich girl, all long hair and coy smiles, artfully draped fabric that concealed little of her assets.

'Anakin,' Obi Wan said, pulling him out of his dark thoughts. 'Did you know there's podracing on Feliteen?'

'Yes,' Anakin answered, his face screwed into a false smile. 'Their pilots are soft and always lose to the outer rim pilots.'

'You were from the outer rim, I understand?' the princess of Feliteen asked politely.

'Yes,' Anakin replied, his annoyance with Obi Wan flooding their bond, he didn't like people knowing about his past.

'Obi Wan says you're a very gifted pilot,' she continued. 'The best star pilot in the galaxy in fact.'

Obi Wan gave an embarrassed laugh and Anakin scowled, he didn't know what to say to that. She wanted his master, his man, why was she being nice to him.

'Excuse me, one moment,' Obi Wan said, standing and making his way towards the 'fresher. Anakin shifted uncomfortably in his seat, starting to regret the filthy looks he'd been sending towards the princess all evening. She didn't seem offended however, and lent over to him with a conspiratorial smile.

'You're a lucky man,' she said, eyes twinkling. 'Obi Wan Kenobi is known as one of the most desirable men in the core worlds. Handsome, intelligent, brave, articulate, kind, wise.'

Anakin scowled again, he knew all this. Obi Wan was the best person in the galaxy, he knew this with the same certainty he knew the sun would rise each morning.

'And all he's talked about all evening,' she continued. 'Is you. His best friend, his former padawan, the best pilot in the galaxy, the best warrior. The most handsome man in the galaxy.' She let the last sentence hang in the air as Anakin blushed. 'Enjoy him, I can assure you that every sentient on this planet would envy the man Obi Wan Kenobi loves. The man Obi Wan Kenobi takes to his bed.'

Anakin knew he had turned crimson. His heart was also singing, Obi Wan had made her think they were lovers, Obi Wan had made her think he loved Anakin! He looked up and saw Obi Wan returning and gave him his most beautifc smile, resting a hand on Obi Wan's shoulder as he sat down again.

'Ah, I see you've made friends. I hope you've not been sharing my secrets, Anakin,' Obi Wan joked.

'Oh no,' the princess replied. 'But I've been sharing a few of yours,' she said with a wink in Anakin's direction.
