Professor Coldheart, Angris McBragg and Foudror

I know I know, Although this is a Care Bears Marvel archive blog I still want to share this comparison meme art I made. It fits with the theme at least, seeing as Professor Coldheart and Frostbite are here.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, If I had a dollar for every time a cartoon where an evil magic blue man with a pointy nose and chin and small sidekick existed to create chaos and bully kids in a universe where otherworldly beings help children I would have 3 dollars, which isn’t a lot, but it’s super weird that this exact thing has happened 3 times.

Seeing as my blog is about Care Bears I think we all know what Professor Coldheart does, he basically makes kids stop caring and the Care Bears stop his evil plan for the day. Random off-note but I do wish Coldheart was more popular in the fandom, everyone gravitates towards Dark Heart and No Heart.

I have talked about Angris McBragg before and if you’ve read that post or seen the cartoon you’ll know that The Soulmates: The Gift of Light is very similar to Care Bears, heck the creator even compared it to Care Bears, saying it was meant to be for slightly older kids. Angris has serious Tumblr Sexyman vibes and I’m pretty sad everyone has forgotten about him now, he’s cool…

Now, this next character, I can guarantee that you’ve never heard of him before, unless you’re one out of 2 people who deliberately searched his name or have seen him on Tumblr Sexyman Showdown briefly. Foudror (his name is Striker in English but I call him by his French name) is strange.. In fact, the whole show he’s from is strange. It’s like Care Bears, but imagine if the Care Bears were replaced with Santa, a talking Reindeer, 4 elves (with one of them being a femboy), and a random fairy. Foudror himself is like if No Heart and Coldheart got fused into one weird looking vampire-esque sorcerer guy, and his anthropomorphic furry bait bat assistant called Aglagla is almost like if Beastly and Shreeky got fused together, very sassy, and would’ve definitely been ruined by the internet if she was more popular. She even has her own sub plot where she’s trying to be turned into a “Sexy Reindeer Girl” by Foudror so she can marry Santa’s Reindeer?… It’s as weird as it sounds.

The Soulmates is on YouTube for free and Dad’X is available on Internet Archive in English. The reason no one’s ever heard of Dad’X before is because it aired a few times in the 90’s and early 2000’s all across Europe and then it’s English dub was region locked to the UK and cost 40 dollars on Amazon, but a certain someone put it on the Internet Archive a few months ago. Someone like Saberspark or Phelous should review it for Christmas, I might try to email them about the show actually.

everything i know about critical role campaign 1 (i have not watched it)

ok so I am a very new Critter who's only watched EXU and campaign 3, but thanks to The Internet, I've learned some things about campaigns 1 and 2 through osmosis. also I've watched some random clips on YouTube... I do plan to watch the campaigns eventually so if no one else finds this funny, at least Future Eve will enjoy my current levels of stupidity.

possible spoilers for Vox Machina! possible incorrect spoilers! do not trust anything I say! I don't know what I'm talking about!

player characters:

Keyleth is a very cute half elf druid played by Marisha. I've seen a lot of art of her so I know exactly what she looks like. also I'm 72% sure she's trans and sapphic but I highly doubt that's canon. I think she is a dumbass and turns into a goldfish mid-cliff jump at one point?? oh and then she becomes Voice of the Tempest and leads the Air Ashari or something. is she an Ashari? no idea. what even is an Ashari? I think her mom is alive. no idea about her dad. something sad happens with her and some dude I think.

Vex'ahlia is Laura's character and she's a very sexy elf ranger with a bow and arrow who I would marry without question. she probably has a British accent. I think she carries Trinket around in a necklace but I might be totally wrong.

Vax'ildan, played by Liam, is another elf, but less sexy because he's a man. he's Vex's twin brother and APPARENTLY is a rogue but that seems wrong to me. I picture him being very short but I know that's not right. also probably has a British accent. I know nothing about this man. sorry Vax :/

Grog Strongjaw looks like Drax but chubbier, and also like a troll from Harry Potter. I think he's just the dumb barbarian stereotype. he's played by Travis and I know even less about him. for some reason, I think he ends up in a relationship with Scanlan, but that makes no sense to me.

Scanlan Short... something I'm already at a loss tbh. he's Sam's character and a halfling bard I think? probably a manwhore. I think I will hate this man.

Pike Trickfoot (?) is Ashley's character and I'm not at all confident I got the name right. I do not know what race she is, but she's short and blonde and buff. she might be a cleric?? healer of some sort. I think Ashley was gone a lot from the campaign and Matt made up some in game reasons for it.

Percival de Rolo/ Percy is Taliesin's edgy gun dude, and I am ashamed to admit it took me a full minute to remember he existed. tbh I would not have remembered if not for the tumblr sexyman jokes I keep seeing. he's got funky little glasses and a funky vest I think. camp. OH YEAH and he ends up marrying Vex! he better be worthy >:( I have no idea of this man's moral fiber but whatever. is he royalty???

Some Dude that was mean so they kicked him out. I know very little about the character or the actor.

Delilah Briarwood - I only remember this bitch bc she's Laudna's patron. I love her immediately I think she is an evil edgy lady w funky magic

Shaun Gilmore is in EXU and he's a fabulous gay man who's just like ridiculously hot and flirty. big fan.

Trinket is a bear. he can talk? pretty sure he's in this campaign.

Winx Club Childhood Headcanons: Bloom

While I am still working on my future AU, I decided to spice up the Winx childhoods with some tidbits. First up: Bloom

💫Before Daphne sent Bloom to Earth, she has put two spells on her. The first one was an easy one, it allowed people who might find her know her true name. Daphne believed that one day she might be able to return to her home planet so this spell would help her when she finds inscriptions of her name.

The second one was much more difficult to do. It was a somewhat sentient conglomeration of magic that would protect Bloom pretth much till she dies or she acrivates her Winx. At this point in time, it protected her three times. The first one was when Mike found her. The second one was when she was being annoyed by a kid in preschool. It made Bloom look like a dragon for a second and scared the kid off. The third one was during the Knut fight in the first episode.

💫She was four months old when she was sent to Earth, which means she could at least experience a bit of Domino life during that time.

💫One significant thing were Marions stories. If the parent has enough magical experience, they can mentally project the story into the kid's brain and help them with memorisation. That's why Bloom even got the fascination with fairies as Marion described the Domino fairies in a lot of detail.

💫Bloom didn't live with her adoptive parents right away. At first she was sent to a child center for lost or abandoned kids bc they were trying to find her parents. Another thing was that Mike and Vanessa didn't think they would do a good job raising a child. They were married for two years at that point and Vanessa just opened up her flower shop a few weeks prior to finding Bloom. They were still looking out for her as they visited her every weekend. After a year and a half, they finally decided to adopt her as the search was unsuccesful.

💫She got interestes in art after she won in a school art competition at the age of 10. Vanessa encouraged her to submit her highly detailed drawing of a castle.

💫Sports were one of the things the family did regularly. From biking to swimming, they were very active whenever they could. This made Bloom the second most athletic Winx after Aisha.

💫Bloom and Mitzi used to be BFFs. Mitzi transfered to Blooms school and the classmates mocked her as she was "just a spoiled rich girl" which was not true at the time. Bloom befriended her as both weren't that liked by the other kids for being different (Bloom was quite a wild kid back then). But after starting middle school, Mitzi found other friends (which were also the popular kids) while they driftee more apart. Bloom still tried to be her friend, but Mitzi rarely paid attention to her. One rare occasion was when she broke up with Andy when they were both 15. After founding the Winx Club, she realized what true friend were really and wanted to "get revenge" on Mitzi in the Hallowinx episode.
