if I confess that the best character arc was Nacho's.

confess to me <333 and you're not wrong. nacho's arc was handled beautifully and tragically (in the most affecting way), and i have zero criticisms outside the fact that i selfishly missed him. 6x03 is a masterwork of television. i'll never forgive the emmys for not nominating michael for that final monologue alone. they did absolutely right by his character and i feel like his death was so profound and really enriched the narrative (and brba's!). it's hard to pull off a violent end with such gravity, to make it not feel unearned or meaningless, but that was given all the resonance and depth it needed and that nacho had shown throughout the transformation of his arc. i stand by everything i wrote extolling the power of his journey and always will.

hiiii! i just reread your soft alpha buck fic and i was wondering if you’d ever write more in that universe (or just in abo!) there’s a severe lack of omega eddie in this fandom

oh, i'm glad you enjoyed it (presumably lol). i really liked writing it and the concept of an alpha in rut being Obsessed w making their omega Feel Good felt very ~fun and funky fresh (thank you again to @mothy-moo, u have the best ideas <33)

i haven't written anything else in that universe, or really planned to. i don't think i'll ever write more of that specific fic, i think i left it where i wanted to. if i ever did continue that fic, i might do something w eddie's heat? or maybe eddie fucking buck, as was implied in that fic? but i have no ideas/plans for that at the moment.

that being said, i am also excited by the idea of omega eddie and wish there was more to read out there. enough to write it myself? perhaps. we shall see~

i enjoy a/b/o and the various worldbuilding aspects, but i'm feeling very limited with the worbs at the moment so if i do write, i don't think it's going to be a/b/o. of course, if i get excited about an idea (story-wise, smit-wise, emotions-wise~) then who knows what'll happen. and yes, this is an invitation to excite me about it :))

My Top 10 Favorite Breaking Bad Universe Characters

1. Howard Hamlin - this one is kinda silly bc he is much less developed than other characters, but I can’t help it. His tragedy hits so hard, it took a character whom I didn’t really care about and made him my absolute #1 fave. Rest in peace Howard you deserved better🥺💔

2. Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman - Gilligould really took a look at their whacky comic relief lawyer in Breaking Bad, and said “hmm, what if we made him the absolute most complex and fascinating character in our entire fictional universe”. And then they did.🙌

3. Jesse Pinkman - God his story hurts. He had one of the best hearts in the whole show, yet he suffered more than ANY other character. His character goes from loveably silly to absolutely heart shattering. I hope he found some peace in Alaska.❤️

4. Walter White - I just can’t help but love this horrible horrible man. He’s goofy and ridiculous, but also insane and egotistical in the most entertaining way. What a great protagonist, he’s compelling when I am rooting for him and compelling when I am praying for his downfall.

5. Chuck McGill - IMO, the best antagonist in the whole BrBa universe. The Jimmy vs Chuck storyline was TOP TIER, Chicanery was a masterpiece of an episode, Lantern and Winner are just dripping with tragedy and sorrow and what-if's. And it's all because of Chuck. Rip Chuck, you may have been a prick but damn if you didn’t make this show the brilliant piece of television that it was.

6. Kim Wexler - no character gives me more mixed feelings than Kim. I always liked her in the early seasons, then I despised her in s6a, then my heart broke for her in s6b, and now I retroactively have so much more love and sorrow for her earlier self because there was so much good there and she could have been so much better and GOD Kim is such a tragic, amazing, well written character.

7. Skyler White - oh my god, my poor wife. You deserved so much better than what the audience gave you all those years. You were a queen, and so right about everything, and I am so sorry I didn’t see it before but now I will defend you until my dying day❤️❤️❤️

8. Lalo Salamanca - he’s just so insane and silly and entertaining. He steals every scene he’s in, and in my opinion added some desperately needed charm and charisma to the cartel side of the show. Legit was rooting for him against Gus, even though he killed my boy Howie and I knew he was doomed to fail.

8. Nacho Varga - Like Jesse, he went through so much despite having one of the most decent hearts on the show, and it all culminated in such a tragic yet powerful death scene. And I love love love the idea of the curse of Nacho Varga dooming Gus, the Salamancas, and the Cartel for their sins. His ghost looms over Breaking Bad, and makes both shows much richer as a result.

9. Cheryl Hamlin - she fascinates me, we see very little of her and yet I loved her scenes and want to know more. I'll also not tolerate Cheryl slander, we don't know what was going on in her and Howard’s marriage, and in the end she stood up for him when nobody else did.

10. Mike Ehrmantraut - to be honest, I'm not the biggest Mike fan. Not because there is anything wrong with his character per se, but I find it a bit annoying how the fandom idolizes him as a loveable grandpa/moral criminal when he actually is kind of horrible and not all that different from Walter. That being said, I do love what they were going for in BCS, showing his slow corruption as he keeps going back into the world of crime to avoid dealing with his grief for his son's death, culminating in that amazing scene where the show calls him on his hypocrisy and Manual Varga tells him 'you gangsters and your justice, you are all the same'. I just wish it was explored more explicitly in the narrative and fandom the way that Walt and Jimmy's moral corruptions are.

I post all my teen wolf thoughts on instagram (i literally have my first watch through on my instagram highlights its history) and i could talk all day abt thiam like idk. Im just saying s6? Shouldve happened and im also saying that the whole arguing but still being one of the best duos in the show ... smts there.

I find the imagery of Lalo as the devil so interesting espc in S6A, bc he's unseen but he has EVERYONE in the city fearing for their lives, unable to function. And he's not even thinking of them (yet)! And considering how handsome and mostly non-threatening he seems to people not in the game, I can picture a random citizen who hears the story being like "....him? That's why you have 24/7 security?"

It was a painful stretch of Lalo-less episodes, but it really did emphasize the Satan coding. His absence ironically made him feel omnipresent, an almost supernatural force. They all knew the devil would come to collect his dues and there wasn't a damn thing they could do about it.

Like, he is literally Satan.

But yeah, a lot of his scariness comes from the characters (and us) knowing who he is. People don't immediately clock him as a threat. The coyotes blew Lalo off when he asked for his money back. Margarthe was convinced he was a sexy American tourist. And when Howard asks who he is, he shrugs and says "nobody." Howard isn't scared of him until he pulls out the gun. And that anonymity is also very Satanic of him - the devil is everywhere, and he might be who you suspect the least

Watching bcs s6a was hard because anytime lalo wasn't on screen I was like ok but where's lalo and any time he was on screen I was so filled with lust all I could do was bark at my screen until he was gone

During s6a of BCS I kept finding myself thinking “I wish Howard had actually done something bad so I wouldn’t feel so awful for him while Jimmy and Kim are ruining his life” but I know that’s the point. Howard was a good man who deserved nothing that happened to him and it was so devastating to watch. That poor guy :( this show always hurts.

i'll miss all the natural light my apartment gets, the new coffee table that i definitely wish i had some more time to appreciate, and MY BED obviously bc i'm gonna be away from it for 2 straight weeks.

hmm. off the top of my head (not including henren begins since it sounds like we're definitely getting thing): 1) i hope buck and eddie stay single for at least all of s6a if not all of s6 2) madney back together! which it sounds like we might be getting if they're in couple's therapy?? 3) a may-struggling-to-adjust-to-college arc (she's gonna be so much more mature than her peers!! i hope they delve into that!) 4) more buckley-diaz family moments with christopher, of course 5) the dream would be a bottle episode for a slow 24hr shift at the firehouse. it'll never happen but i'll ask for it ever season.

and yes i did!! i love it and it sits on my counter all the time, and i definitely think it lives up to the job but i personally drink coffee more often in the winter so i haven't gotten much use out of it this summer (dc is MISERABLE this time of year). i'm looking forward to when things start to cool down some.

this whole distance thing with buck and eddie is giving me feelings. bc they were super close always touching and then that distance became bigger and bigger and it seemed like during s5 and s6a they would get closer again in a way but then eddie had to put a lot of distance between them to save buck. eddie tried pulling him closer but that was the wrong way. he had to let him down, further and further away from him. i don’t want to think about eddie’s thoughts while lowering buck. but eddie kept going because it was the only way. the distance between them is what is going to save buck and maybe he is the one getting the assignment wrong this time. the distance between them doesn’t mean to push buck away but to get rid of that distance between them. the distance being all of  the unsaid things he has been holding in since he was shot and saw no one else but buck in those moments.

Oh my god, YES!!! GA peaked at 6-7 and should've ended by S8 at the latest.

My picks would be: NCIS (by S6) TVD (by S3 or preferably 4x01) TW (S3 would have been a good way to end things with a lil epilogue and a Stydia get together. And if not, then definitely by S6A)

I never made it past S5A (and I barely remember anything past S3B) of Teen Wolf but I would absolutely watch S6A bc something about the Ghost Riders is just... so appealing

What's happening in the fandom is what happens when ppl R quick etrash someone bc they R disappointed in SLs. Fans who attacked Eric (bc that was a "Imma hurt this person w/words" type shit) just weeks ago R about 2praise him BUT reluctantly. It was clear that the way Guggie set up Crisis was negatively affecting TheFlash's S6A & EW more likely traded off that lack of ability 2build up Iris & WA pre-Crisis 4 having IWA & WA shine in Xover epis bound 2b seen by many non-Flash fans. He ain't dumb
