People are allowed to have their opinions and preferences.

No one is saying the original fancast is bad, but equally people are allowed to find new actors and models. Also, diversity is trending in the fandom and the og Marauders are all white.

You can fancast whoever you want, but so can anyone else 💁🏼‍♀️

What do you think about Jack Lowden (Collins in Dunkirk) as a potential Wimsey headcanon? His extreme blondness and sharpish nose are preying on my mind. He's still a baby, but about the right age for Major Wimsey still in uniform and I am having... emotions.

MAJOR WIMSEY. OLD WINDERPANE. The concept of a pre-war/mid-war Peter alone gives me the vapours tbh. Bright-eyed, all innocence and idealism. And then buried in a hole in the ground.

I like your thinking, but the main mark against the esteemed Mr Lowden is that he is inescapably pretty. He’s just ..a pretty fellow, quite pretty he is.They’d have to work hard at bringing that ‘800 years of weak, chinless, toffy english genetics’ out with some very dorky hair indeed. He is, however, an appropriate cornsilk blond if needed, and there’s a sharpness to his face that could work. What he DOES have going for him is the way he reaches up out of the choppy English Channel in Dunkirk after ditching his Supermarine Spitfire (and nearly drowning): with a cheery ‘Morning!’ as he’s approached by a boat, like it’s a nice Sunday on the river. That is, if you’ll pardon the expression, Wimsey as fuck.

i ended up having to skip quite some months and ngl most of my edits this year have been flops so i went with favourites instead of popular posts for all months but anyway here we go:

january: daisy jones & the six edit this is a bit different than my usual edits which is why it was rly fun to make!! i rly like the sepia-ish vibe the texture and coloring i used for this gives the pictures

february: king lear posters i’m v obsessed w the effect the texture i used created for this and the colours are hot!!

march: james farrow moodboard and agnes montague posters i couldn’t possibly choose between these two; i love the contrast between the pale colours and the red blood in the james mb, and the agnes one is my first tma edit so it was a special place in my heart & the colours are very sexy imo

july: the scorpio races picspam a very basic sari picspam tbh but i like it

august: maeglin posters colours make brain go brrrr + a bonus: jonathan sims posters, my most popular edit of the year

october: nerdanel picspam i’m obsessed w the fancast i used for this & the colours are v v nice

november: jonah magnus posters idk the pictures i picked fit the character perfectly and eye imagery hot and colours hot
