Drove down to the Island to see Ma and thought it too good a day not to do a drive with her! I rang ahead to make sure she could come out of the home, picked her up and off we went! Over to Churchill Island to see the Highland cattle and bird life! Mum thoroughly enjoyed the trip sipping on a cappuccino and eating a sausage roll from the Newhaven bakery! On our return we drove across the San Remo bridge then did a u turn and back to the island and a drive along the Esplanade to view Bass Strait and take a selfie ( requested by Ma) A nice change from the air conditioned confines of the nursing home!
