im absolutely obsessed with baldur's gate 3 right now. id love to do an rp set in that setting, whether during, pre, or post canon or aus/canon divergence!! really up for anything plot-wise.

- as for ships, i am not picky!! im happy to do ccxcc, ccxoc (double up or not), and ocxoc, though i do have a preference for ccxcc or ocxoc. i also have a preference for bxb or nbxb, but i would be willing to do gxb as long as i can play the guy. im willing to try writing any of the companions and most of the npcs as well :) though the companion i have the least experience with is astarion so if you want me to play him you might have to give me a minute to get used to writing his character. ive also got a couple ocs (tavs and otherwise) that you can choose from if you're interested in that route!

- i would also be down for literally anything dnd inspired, does not need to be bg !!

– i am literate to novella, though i usually like sticking around literate to adv lit, meaning two to three paragraphs minimum per reply. im more than happy to go higher, though! im comfortable writing two messages' worth quickly, but a lot more than that will take longer.

I present to you: Aksa Guirguis!

Aksa is an original character of mine from a story I'm writing! She went through a couple iterations but I quite love what she became! Class: Warlock! (She is my first magickal class actually! I really used to avoid magic sksks)

Subclass: The Great Old One (in the original story she gets her powers from the founder of her nation, who turned into a goddess when she perished in the mortal realm!)

Background: Sage! Aksa is an explorer, curious since birth, and always asking questions.

Preferred Weapon: To be determined! I'm thinking Scimitars, maybe?

Romance: Aksa is a free spirit! Settling down never became a thing- Not because she didn't want to, no, but because her work keeps her moving. Maybe she hasn't found the right person? She has however bedded her fair share of people, allowed herself to be wooed and taken out, and has a couple lovers she remembers fondly and misses, always imagining the "what could've been". In BG3 she'd easily be poly and fuck around at first, but perhaps by Act 3 a more serious situation would settle?

Pronouns + Sexuality: Aksa uses She/They pronouns! She is certainly a lesbian, and polyamorous~

Her story!

Aksa had started out as a Paladin. Well, wanting to be a Paladin. To join the sacred order of her people, those who were tasked to protect the kingdom from threats outside and within, founded by the kingdoms first leader Catalina Fuentes. But she never was a good student- She always chafed under the strict rules and code of the Paladins of Catalina.

Instead, Aksa became the first Warlock of the goddess. Being bestowed with her power, and making a promise to uphold her values and protect her home, Aksa travels the world using her abilities to protect herself and others, learning all she can about the world and giving that knowledge to her isolated people.

Perhaps one day Aksa will train other Warlocks blessed by Catalina Fuentes, first Queen and Goddess of the River, but for now? She is alone. And she doesn't mind that...

Mainly because I prefer oc x character, but am willing to discuss different plots if you have something in mind! -I prefer to not do one reply a week, I am quite active on my page and am looking for someone that likes to do multiples throughout the week. -I will only do doubles! this is because I feel like there is always a part of the group that feels like they're not having a good experience because their ideas don't always align with the other party. -I totally understand if life gets in the way and you're unable to reply! A little background

Lunastra was born to quite mundane parents in Balder's Gate nearly 260 years ago. She grew up as any child did, receiving a modest education and learning about the paths her life could take. Of course, her parents thought that she would follow in their footfalls, taking over the small shop they ran.

That was until she met a cat. This was no ordinary cat, but a druid in wild shape. She couldn't have been older than 50 or 60, still merely a child to the long-lived race. Running home, she couldn't wait to tell her parents of the discovery she'd made. A friendly stray cat she and her friends had met turned into a person! How amazing was that?!

They quickly told her about druids and the path they took in life. She then turned to the amazing library they had in the Gate and began to study everything she could about their way of life. Everything was so fascinating to her. Not only the fact that they could turn into actual animals but, eventually, how they were they were the protectors of Nature.

It was years of research and study before she'd finally made the decision to follow her desire and passion. Pledging herself to The Oak Father, Silvanus; she sought out a collective of Druid to teach her their ways. That's how she came to be in The Emerald Grove at the age of 96.

By the time she was kidnapped by the Mind Flayers, she'd had nearly 150 years of practice under her belt and was prepared to face whatever was needed to maintain the balance of Nature.

Astarion prowled the night as a vampire spawn for centuries, serving a sadistic master until he was snatched away. Now he can walk in the light, but can he leave his wicked past behind?

Personality:

Sadistic as fuck. Astarion very much enjoys the suffering of others and his sense of humour is rooted in this feeling too.

He's self-serving above all else and doesn't mind taking advantage of people in hard places.

He values loyalty very highly, if its aimed towards himself.

spoilers from here on out

Astarion was in his 30s when he was turned by Cazador, which is very young for an elf. It is why he will at times act immature or childish; he simply never had the chance to grow up before everything was taken from him.

Astarion doesn't remember much from the night he died, but he remembers very clearly waking up as a spawn.

He remembers waking up in a tight, dark confinement; a coffin. He remembers the sheer panic he felt when he the lid would not open for him. He remembers screaming for help and eventually having to claw his way out, only to feel dirt fall in his face. He had already been buried. Desperate and frantic he clawed his way out of the deep layer of dirt above him, tasting bile, blood and earth all the out. When he finally made it out into the cold night, coughing and struggling to breathe, his body tired and fighting not to throw up, Cazador was there, waiting for him.

After that he spent 200 years as Cazador's spawn and slave. His job, along with his spawn "siblings" was to bring Cazador victims. Astarion would use his charms and good looks for this. At first he felt terrible about it, but after a while he became numb to it, easily forgetting their faces and moving on to the next. He did what he had to to survive and it became second nature to him.

If he didn't do as Cazador wanted, Astarion would pay the price with his own suffering, sometimes he would pay it anyway because, as Cazador said, Astarion's screams sounded the sweetest.

Favorite Color: Lately I've had an interest in Green. I play a lot of RTS games and in some of them you can set custom colours, and I like to set my forces as Green, my ally as Orange and my enemy as Pink.

Currently Watching: Yu-Gi-Oh GX Duel Academy, High School DxD, and a UK brand Quiz Show known as "The Chase." Though most of the time now I am just RPing, playing video games and chilling alongside doing charity work for a local charity by doing video editing and a drop-in IT Club.

Spicy/Savory/Sweet: Sweet but not too powerful.

Relationship Status: Single. I had two instances involving love where I was tricked into thinking I was in a relationship with a girl in school, only for said girl after the end of the last school year to tell me to my face that it was all a joke. Then the second instance was actually via a RP relationship, an IC romantic relationship which the other person used to manipulate me, control me and groom me.

Current Obsession: It's between Balder's Gate 3, The Riftbreaker, Apex Legends and Walking. I like walking a lot, I go on roughly 10'000 step walks every day. With and without my doggo.

1. That people as a whole suck. I've had so many bad experiences that as a whole I just don't really trust people's intentions as much as I should. Granted, I still give people a chance because that's just who I am as a person because I still want to believe that people don't actually suck... and there's a solid 60/40 chance I either get burned or it works out for me. I will say though ... that 40% is what keeps me going, what gives me the faith and patience to continue doing what I do. My 40% is amazing and I love them to death..

36. The last time I tried something new was actually playing Balder's Gate 3! I've never played a turn based mode game before, never played D&D or anything similar, and I gotta say, its a ton of fun.

My First Tav~!

Hi all~! I'm making a bio like posts for my characters so I can remember/keep track of their details and use them for writing!!! (Plus that makes them easier to show off <3 ) We're starting with Ali.

Ali was my first playthrough and sorta still relates to my edgy teen self inserts? But isn't an actual self insert of myself (as the character and myself have changed so much~) Class: Barbarian + Fighter Multiclass!

Subclass: Berserker/Battle Master

Background: Soldier Preferred Weapon: Any weapon they can get their hands on at any time. Their preferred weapon always changes based on upkeep, usefulness, and strength. Romance: In my first playthrough we got Shadowheart! So in stories I might stick to Ali x Shadowheart, but I like Karlach as another choice. Pronouns + Sexuality: Ali is born a man! Throughout their story they question their identity and become nonbinary! Towards the end they decide on She/They pronouns and are happy presenting masculine or feminine! Ali is also poly and demisexual. Ali has suffered greatly in their past and this has led to them becoming a quiet and introverted figure. Serious and threatening are two words to describe them. A young boy during the Second Sundering, Ali's people were attacked, enslaved, and hunted down by a Cult of High Elves who, like their Drow kin, had turned to Lolth. They believed their atrocities and sacrifices to her would save them from the world apparently ending. Ali managed to escape and lived in the wilds growing up, learning to fight and survive out of necessity, trial, and error. Eventually, after years of of this, Ali would return to their land and with a small army and their own group of adventurers to free their people, and after this the group would split up, living their own lives. For years, Ali roamed purposeless. They felt their life had no more meaning after achieving their own freedom, only growing up to survive and kill. During this time they travelled and learned of the world, begrudgingly helping others when needed, especially those oppressed or enslaved.

It isn't until the events of Baldur's Gate 3, when they're captured on the Nautiloid, that Ali finds new meaning to their life, through their companions, allies, and the fight against the Absolute which so clearly angered them. Having sworn to free the mindflayer spawn, such as themself, through death or victory Ali has fully dedicated themselves to destroying the Cult of the Absolute once and for all.

Ali lives by simple tenets- Kill evil. Freedom over all else. And honesty. They are as blunt as Karlach or Lae'zel, but with more of a neutral morality. They do not distinguish evil and good beyond an individuals own actions. For example, they always supported Shadowheart's path to become a Dark Justiciar, showing unending loyalty to someone close to them and respect for their beliefs. But when Ali saw the Nightsong she convinced Shadowheart to not kill her and would have fought her (at that point) lover herself to save Aylin.
