Alex is known as the grumpy one, rarely smiling (so rare that it became a meme of sorts on social media of to comment when he did in 2022). This may be changing in 2023 with a change to McLaren after six years at Andretti. New season, new team, new Alex? Time will tell. He still isn't the most social of people, preferring people people (friends and family) over people (everyone else). He has a soft spot for child fans, often going out of his way to interact with them.

His conservative upbringing shows on occasion, particularly on his podcast where he and good friend James Hinchcliffe discuss the latest racing news and whatever else comes into their heads. The number of times James has said "No, Alex. We've talked about this." when Alex says something that could be considered concerning for a rational person to say (often related to those conservative views he was raised with) is numerous. Much credit to Mr. Hinchcliffe for having the patience to educate his friend.

Alex extensively researches (perhaps obsessively) what catches his interest, be it smoking meats, the PH of his pool, or weird flavored soda cocktails. He is generous to his closest friends, recently planning a "not Bachelor party" weekend for a friend. He is something of perfectionist and a (self-admitted) clean freak. He enjoys betting on sporting events, although now must do his betting through friends as he allowed James to parental lock the betting app on his phone.

Yeah I did is to take the bottom one and make the top one but as a car not a pickup truck and as a Baja car The front end grill will be a little lower but they're flared way out and they come closer to the tire but not so directs the fender and it is an awesome idea that works and we know it does and you lower the suspension you lose different tires and rims and their equal sized and you put an actual windshield in it's lighter weight but it's shatterproof and doors of some sort with a plexiglass or really it's bullet resistant with lightweight and you have a full cage including the door has a roll cage it's integral or you can open and close the special latch the thing goes real fast but the cages already up I have to do is make a door and boy this is a great idea and you make it like a car so it's sealed and it's wind resistance is cut way down and that's why it goes fast and you should see these older car Baja cars they were awesome and they have the idea but they're using car chassis and they're slow this is lighter and they have the idea they want to do it they have no way of doing it and all of these Polaris and Can-Am that you see like this are not used in combat or investigatory or anything they're too slow they make too much noise and too much dust and you get inside you can't see anything and everybody just gets pissed off and the only one who uses them are in Africa and they don't use them that much anymore cuz they jam out because it's too much dust and they don't have a filter system for them but here you can filter the air a few times and you have to change the filters but this is awesome this is the way to go right now they just use military type stuff they don't use much Baja trucks for some reason they really should but they know and it's kind of weird you know this would really work cuz we use them ourselves and we're trying to get them out there I'm trying to get a business going

We would need a lot of money it takes money to make money and stronger players as partners and we don't have those most of the people are bumps except for mac and Ben this is those are two guys and I said yeah probably and the engineers so we have a team but we have to try and figure out how to do it we have nothing he's got no resources at all none and PGA wants to run the warehouse and things like that and we have no way to start this and you have to have the design at least for people won't even talk to you and you have to have someone drive it real fast so he can drive it fast you drove a dirt bike 100 mph and they're saying this will go 180 but he can bring it up to 250 and I'm wondering how you could clock it without clocking it instead you can tell if there's trees or items like that and they can tell how far apart they are and they can see what the actual speed and film is and it starts it get excited cuz we do that a lot and 150 on a dirt road is real fast but he's talking about on the desert he knows how to do it he'd have to figure out the terrain but he can do it and I've seen him ride and he can do it pretty good on a bike it's easier in the car and they don't want to but it's not that fast this is real fast 130 is what they do now it's true that's as fast as they go so you just go a little bit faster and everybody would be interested and you make a commercial with it because I'd have to try and do it but I weigh a ton

They're both fairly fast and one of us can do it and we'd be funding the projects and we'd want to do it and we've been on film and camera and they say that's great that's the way out of that we don't want to be on camera and heck we can probably race him and get sponsors and they come out of metal which is why she says just get a lot of rocks and we know how to make all that stuff so we can actually help make it and you guys could help design it put it together warehouse and sell it he says I have a job instead of being a bum and we can try to get that going later on and I know you mean constructions are dragged and it turned into a nightmare this would be a different one so we follow that

Well actually into this kind of stuff it sounds like a great idea it is a great idea these little off-road vehicles suck I don't do anything they're very slow and they don't do what you want and he says we can start with lawn mowers that's a really weird thing because you can make them smaller like a recreational vehicle but they do race them and there is some off one more chassis and you kick everyone's ass and change the Gary and then wonder what the hell it is and it would be a way to start and we do know how to do that so it's a good idea and probably would work and he wants to be off road without getting into an accident with his balls anymore he doesn't want to do it with a dirt bike anymore it's too damn dangerous and people threaten all sorts of stuff maybe threatening things but we have to prep for that

Feel like going on this and we got to make a beer company for the sponsoring because generic beer and for Christ's sake it's a good idea maybe rolling it and the car would make it unbelievable and they know who's doing it and these lawn mowers doesn't look like a dune buggy and we'll be doing this coming up it's probably helps it along and we've seen stuff like this in movies not exactly like it but yeah so where going to try this idea at some point and try and think about it too had to get it going and he says it's not very hard I'll be sitting at home bored and I take the lawn mower and put the different differential in and we take a seat from it and if you're a single cedar unfortunately and it's true and I buy a toy online they have like these toy Baja cars I've seen those and they look pretty cool and you put it on there pretty much almost there and I'd use the original tires and stuff at first and I would of course that's pretty much not really that much work except for the differential so I'm starting to laugh at something that's where Ken comes in it's true

We have full proposals for all of our projects and they involve us doing a lot of work up front because these guys are kind of useless and we'll have to spearhead it and we're going to change gears and make sure it works and we're not going to come in with a corporate structure mostly that doesn't work with and we're going to make these things go and we're very sick of what's going on and we can't help it but we need the time to design stuff no they're way behind or they should be doing so you might sit with Brad and talk to him about opening factories and just making stuff for him and he has a division that wants to block and they're talking about it and might want to move to stamping and we can help him test that out and do some r&d here and there as a side note this is good so he wants to see if we can do it so we are going to probably do in the Midwest and he'll see it's not us to do this routine with him and it's not a bad idea it's not a bad car and people have done it all over the world right now they're under attack and they need to do stuff

We think we would try different things and if it works it works and that's the way it goes if it tracks too much attention we'll know like the Vader and we like your idea of the lambo and people say oh it's his company even though it's not and we'll have a front and it will work and a lot of these smaller guys like BG and his people and grandkids of trump they want to do this kind of thing and Jason and Jason's kids and yes she's on an island it's not very big no it's good size it's an Asian Island and there is an Asian supercar and he says that I didn't know she was out there and you just take a regular car and you make the super car and we can help her do that and come up with a company and this is a technique that they do and we're going to get to it now
