and in the distance there's Ivy twinkling like the stars and Cipher calling my name. It's 12:22 sitting by my side and Cheap Seats proposing a toast. It's Golden Hour telling my own story and Sunkissed making me giddy. If I Could Lie keeps me up at night and Falling, Falling fills me with a sense of magic.

It's all a culmination of pinky promises and laughter, broken strings and broken hearts. It's a mess of stories that kept me afloat and it's a heart full of gratitude for all of the people that have ever stopped by my blog and left their mark of kindness upon it.

Tonight I'm just feeling a little sentimental as I've been looking back over the past year and a half on Tumblr, and looking back over this journey. So much has happened and changed in my own personal life; wonderful ups and terrible downs, but these stories and the readers that follow them have been a breath of fresh air.

I will never stop being grateful for the excuse I have to live out this little dream of mine. Hope you know that.

I hope you know that I have a sticker on my water bottle of two hands forever interlocked in a pinky promise, reminding me of my first story and of the promise I made to myself when I first began this journey:

B: I'm not going

A: WHAT! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! WHY? After everything we did you're going to give up right before the end. Right before we get closure

B:I got my closure. I don't need to go there. It's a death sentence.

A:Then I'm going alone. Because you certainly have lost all your brain cells

B:YOU ARE NOT GOING ALONE

A:OH YEAH IS THAT IT. if you're not coming then I'm alone. I am not giving up that easily.

B:I'm going with you.

A:Wha.. you just said you're not coming and now all of a sudden you want to come. Do you see me as that weak.

B:You are not weak-

A:Then why. Why can't you bear the thought of me doing this alone. I can do-

B:I know you think you can but it's not that i can't bear the fact you're going alone. I don't want to have to deal with your death.

A:Oh so that is what this is about. You don't want to deal with the inconvenience that is my dea-

B: I CARE ABOUT YOU OK? I LOVE YOU AND IT'S PAINFUL TO JUST WATCH YOU GO AND RISK YOUR LIFE ALL ALONE. ugh look. I ... I just can't lose you. You are the greatest thing that has ever happened to me and it might be selfish but fuck it if it keeps you alive i am going to be selfish. I know how much you think you need this and i know that I can't make you stay but at least allow me to be there... To be able to be with you.

A: You can make me stay.

B:Wha

A:You can with just a simple phrase. Tell me. Tell me to stay and I will. I thought that... I thought... Dam it i thought that the only way to be close to you is by being in danger. You never said anything and I wasn't subtile about my feelings so why not just tell me that a long time ago. I did this whole trip just so I can be with you. The closure was a bonus and the certain death was my escape plan because. Without you this is worthless. The whole thing the caves the monsters the answers they are not for me. They were just the reason I needed to make you come with me to spent time with me instead of hiding behind that expressionless mask you call a face.

B: Why would you do that. I don't deser-

A: Finish that sentence and I will slid your throat in your sleep. If you try and pull the I'm not worthy card I will seriously consider if I want to spend the rest of eternity with you.

B:Haha i guess then I will just try and be the worthiest person I can

A:That's more like it. Thank goodness I don't have to deal with a weeping mess of emotional constipation. Sooo are you gonna say it.

They leaned closer and whispered softly

B:Stay.

Then put a light kiss on A's forehead.

B:With.

Kiss on the nose.

B:Me.

The last word was followed by a kiss on A's slightly parted lips. Their lips were soft and fit perfectly with B's. The kiss started out as just a touch of lips but it soon became more. It was a transaction of feeling that they've both been holding for so long the pressure to free them was almost overwhelming. When they finally parted to take a breath they were both panting and B's hands were in A's hair while A's were resting on B's hips and they had no intention of moving any time soon.

The dangers forgotten they stayed like that for what felt both like hours and minutes untill they couldn't anymore. The want was burning both of them and they were slaves to her now that they knew she has a free range to control their moves. If she were a person she'd be smiling maliciously and in her eyes you'd be able to see all the plans she had for them.

But tonight all they did was enjoy eachother with slow touches and curious eyes. They were far far away from this world. They existed only for eachother and at that moment there wasn't a place that could tempt them to separate. And there will never be.

Personal App Interview Questions

My goal is to receive the average of a persons varied opinion of their mobile device. For fun and to provide insight I also asked each interviewee what was their current emotional status (just for pure statistics). One a scale of 1-10, with 1 being pretty sad and 10 being godlike, the average was a 5.1 . I've interviewed 6 different people (who I'll refer to with the first letter of their name) and these were their answers.

What are some social media apps that you use?

-S: I'm a fan of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Clubhouse, and sometimes Tumblr.

-M: I usually use Reddit and TikTok. Nothing else really.

-B: Does YouTube count? Otherwise, none.

-D: Instagram.

-R: YouTube, Instagram, Snap, Letterbox

-T: Instagram, Facebook and snapchat

What email apps do you use?

-S: I of course use the best app of them all, The "MAIL APP".....like a true champ.

-M: I use Gmail and outlook for school.

-B: Outlook, Samsung Email

-D: Mail, Outlook

-R:Gmail and Outlook

-T:Gmail, outlook

How many applications do you check on your phone per day?

-S:20+? This includes alarm, mail, calendar, notes, etc that are basic.

-M: I'm actually not sure. I don't keep track.

-B: I check 10 apps everyday.

-D: 3

-R: 7 - 10

-T: 11

Do you have any positive or negative feelings about your current phone?

-S:It’s alright. It has its ups and downs.Honestly, I am more neutral with it currently.

-M:Mostly positive. It is a cool device.

-B: Nope, rather indifferent.

-D: It is getting old and I need a new one. My phone is slow

-R: I am indifferent. I like how fast and smooth my phone works but the operating system I use sucks.

-T: I love using every app in windows like a computer. It is difficult to move media from phone to computer.

Do you actually use any accebilbilty features from your phone ?

-S: I used the "READ ALOUD" Feature on my Iphone. I have a bit of a retina disability so it helps quite a bit.

-M:No, none at all.

-B: I use none.

-D: Does Siri count???

-R:Speech to text out of laziness and weak spelling skills.

-T: No

Do you regularly miss news and social media updates? If you don't why are you up to date?

-S: I think I just let slip whatever it is that I don’t care. The world will do whatever it does... and I don’t think I’m “up to date”. If I don’t check the news myself, someone would eventually let me know sooner or later if it has anything to do with me.

-M: I usually miss all social/ news updates. I see those on tv and from people in person.

-B: I stay up to date with news via major news network youtube channels and the occasional website written post. I miss the pop culture news.

-D: I like to know what is going on in our city.

-R: I follow many different independent creators from a spectrum of views and subjects. I believe I would be considered moderately in the loop.

-T: Sometimes I miss them because I don't care about it.

What is the MOST annoying part about your phone?

-S:“Face scan” to unlock phone. It’s not COVID friendly. Also it doesn’t recognize my face in the morning when I’ve just woken up in my natural form as an orc baby.

-M: I'm not sure.

-B: Really had to think hard about this but since I don't have a legitimate answer; the fact that it has to be charged.

-D: I hate that sometimes I have to download many application for different things.

-R:Screen size, would want a bigger size.

-T:Slightly too big for my hands.

What is the BEST part about your phone?

-S:Communication........... being able to stay in touch.

-M: I like my phones battery life. It sometimes last more than a day.

-B:I always have access to a world of knowledge at the tip of my fingers.

-D:I love the build quality of my device.

-R: Have a Note 8, I like the S-pen.

-T: The camera is amazing.

Scenario: You are standing on the sidewalk of 5th Ave, drinking Starbucks with sunglasses on. A monkey, riding an elephant, riding a skateboard rides past you. What app do you IMMEDIATELY use to document this?

Four Fandoms

I was challenged to post four of my favorite fandoms and why I love them by @whovian1077. Thank you; this should be fun! Not gonna lie; I’m probably gonna cheat a little. I’m not good at picking my favorite out of things I love. Also, these will be in no particular order.

1) Star Wars-

All the movies (yes, even that one; that one too) and basically all the books (I can’t say I’ve read all of them, but I’ve read a substantial number)

Favorite Characters- Obi-wan, Han and Chewie, Leia, R2, Chirrut, Jyn, Cassian, K2, Rey

Favorite Quotes- Obiwan has some great ones that I quote all the time (Good job; That’s why I’m here; You want to go home and rethink your life), but they’re mostly in the dry delivery. The majority of K2’s dialogue. Leia-”I’d rather kiss a wookie,“ Han-“That can be arranged; he could use a good kiss!”

How long I’ve been a fan- From the first moment I watched Episode IV I was hooked. I’d say I was probably 12-13.

Why I love it- I love how everything feels like it has its own deeper story. Each planet has customs, language, people. You can fall in love with characters that are on screen for a couple minutes tops (do not get me started talking about Zett Jukassa). The expanded universe is basically a bunch of books full of fanfic that was published. I wrote so many stories myself in my early teens that took place in the star wars universe. I made my own planets and wrote and drew about the inhabitants. I will always love Star Wars.

2) Joss Whedon

Okay, I warned you I was going to cheat. Because of this great man, I get to include the Marvel movies (yes, I’m aware he wasn’t responsible for all of them, but like I said, I’m cheating!) and Agents of Shield, Firefly, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Dr Horrible’s Sing Along Blog as one entry.

Favorite Characters- Iron Man, Captain America, Coulson, Hawkeye, Fitz, Star Lord, Buffy, Willow, Spike, Xander, Zoe, Kaylee, Mal, Wash, Inara, Dr. Horrible, Penny (this was still hard; I feel like I betrayed everyone I left off this list)

Favorite Quotes- Oh, jeeze! “I swear by my pretty floral bonnet I will end you,” “Out. For. A. Walk.- … Bitch.” “It’s a brand new day and the sun is high/All the birds are singin’ that you’re gonna die,“ “B:I wanna be an achiever, like Bad Horse; P:The Thoroughbred of Sin?; B:I meant ‘Ghandi’,” Most of the lines …  

How long I’ve been a fan- I want to say 10 years or so?

Why I love it- They are funny and clever, but also sad and real. The characters are amazing and believable. The dialogue is incredible 

3) Supernatural

Favorite Characters- Sam and Dean, Bobby, Charlie, Cas, Benny, Jody, Donna, Pamela, Crowley, Ellen, Jo, Kevin, Bela, Lisa (shut up), Ruby (both incarnations), Baby

Favorite Quotes- Really? “I think I’m adorable,“ “Fight the fairies,” “Hey, I am your flesh and blood brother … believe in that, believe me … make it your stone number one and build on it,” “Do I look like a ditchable prom date to you?” “It’s okay, boy, that’s why I’m here,” “Don’t ask stupid questions,” “Urination. I understand.” “Dean, always with the scissors!” “No, I’m kidding because clowns are really funny to me,” etc.

How long I’ve been a fan- Since July 3rd, 2016. I was planning on casually watching the first season to satisfy my curiosity and take a much needed break from job and school stress. I was watching the first episode. Dean did something or said something or looked something idk and I said, “I’m in trouble.” Then Sam said/did something and I said, “I think I may have made a terrible mistake.” I was right.

Why I love it- I love so many things about this show, but it all comes down to Sam and Dean. I could tell right from the pilot that these were well done, complex, characters that were also well-casted. Individually, I would have fallen in love with either of them. Together, with the dynamics of their brother relationship, I just don’t see myself getting tired of it. Combine it with the incredible acting ability that only seems to get better (how?), the fantastic side characters, the amazing/crazy fandom, and the actors’ relationship with each other and the fans …  well, I’m just glad I didn’t know when I popped in that first dvd: I probably would have been too scared to sign on for 13 seasons (wow, that’s a lot of emotional trauma)

4) The Chronicles of Narnia

The 7 Books by C.S Lewis. The most recent movies were okay. I watched an old BBC rendition once that was equal parts good and terrible.

Favorite Characters- Lucy, Edmund, Mr. Tumnus, Reepicheep, Shasta, Bree, Hwin, Aravis, Puddleglum, Prince Tirian, Jewel, The Professor, Strawberry -ah, who am I kidding: Peter, Jill, Eustace, Caspian, Susan, and Aslan of course

Favorite Quotes- “(Edmund:)Girls aren’t very good at keeping maps in their brains, (Lucy:)That’s because we’ve got something in them.” “(Narrator:)Edmund or Lucy or you would have recognized it at once, but Eustace had read none of the right books … He never said the word Dragon to himself. How long I’ve been a fan- I believe I was 13 when I first read them

Why I love it- I loved the magic, the adventure, the fact that ordinary kids became heroes. The humor. The love and sacrifice. The Narrator. Lewis’ incredible ability to tell a good story.
