Finally got around to taking pictures of the @awakeningzine and some of the Capcom cafe and enjoy summer stuff 👀

The zine came perfectly packaged and they're sitting in my shelf. I absolutely love love love the art and the anthologies written in them. It was also for a great cause, OneTreePlanted!

So many talented writers just makes me want to write more and ahhhhh!

Capcom Cafe event!

As soon as I saw that red orb silicone molds I had to. Currently freezing the only red drink I had around which is fruit punch lmao.

The pins are really good quality and the clear file is super cute. I don't have the strength for blind bag stuff so I just got what I could. I am eying the clothes Keychain though. 👀👀

The stand in the first photo on the bottom right wasn't from the Capcom event from aitaikuji, but from another site I got the enjoy summer event.

Speaking of which,

Capcom knew what they were doing.

The little details for the boy's summer outfits are PERFECT. V's sweater, Vergil's watermelon smashing game, Dantes water guns... I love that Shadow is holding the ice cream cone up for Griffon. 😭 I will stand by Nero having the best shoe choice because with standing on your feet all day, crocs are a god send for me.

It makes me wonder if the burning easy in the sun thing is something that they all have since they're all wearing some kind of covering. 🤔

This is the only item I can't just hang up (yet) because I don't feel like explaining myself to guests. But mark my words I will hang this up... As soon as I find a spot.

Hopefully there's more events in the future, because suddenly falling into the dmc hole again really makes me realize how much little merch IS released. I wish I was able to get the winter/Christmas stuff from last time. Maybe they'll do it again like the cafe stuff.

My contribution to @awakeningzine where I got assigned to illustrated Vergil with his journey out of hell. I hope you guys enjoy your copy , it was a fun project and I'm honored to work with. After broke himself out of Mundus' control, he escapes from hell and back to the human world, but an Angelo awaited him at the end of the path, luckily he managed to execute it, thus the Angelo armor on him shed and he's back to his familiar form.

He stepped through the portal, with more than a touch of deja vu.  First, he could hear the boy calling out to him, a distant “Wait!” before the fabric of reality mended itself behind him.  The second thing was where he ended up.  Just like before, looming before him like a crumbling beacon, was remains of what was once an elegant manor.

The story is a standalone piece focusing on what happened to Vergil in the period between DMC1 and DMC5, but for anyone who read Children of the Future Age, it also serves as a sort of background/companion piece to chapters 57-58.
