for the ship ask game: fukufuku and atsujunilucy?

BELOVEDS!! fukufuku what made you ship it? that one scene where we get a glimpse into their backstory. idk. something about it made me feel a type of way, the same type of way i feel about some ghilbi movies. also their dynamic is fun to explore!! it's very interesting to me to explore how different the two are now compared to their past selves what are your favorite things about the ship? fukuchi giving fukuzawa food when they were younger is cute to me. i wouldn't be surprised if drinking/eating food with/giving food to someone is a love language of his? even as they were older, even though the time we saw them prsent-day didn't end well, it still kind of felt like they were old friends reuniting. they bring a lot of emotions to me. i care about them a lot. platonically or romantically, you can tell how much they meant to each other and it just. fukuchi's death scene made me Sad (rare occurence) is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

im actually too scared to read fukufuku fics due to the fear of mischaracterization on both of their parts. fukuchi already is a pretty underrated blorbo and then fukuzawa is just.. it feels like sometimes people forget about the nuance both of them have - atsujunilucy what made you ship it? atsushi has two hands and atsujuni and atsulucy respectively are very cute and i enjoy them both. also the idea of atsushi dating two people who technically have red hair was silly <3 what are your favorite things about the ship? it'd allowed atsushi AND lucy to interact with naomi more!! who i care about a lot actually. also tanizaki would 100% get a nickname like tigerkitty. i dont know what. i think my first idea was starfish but im not so sure about that now is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

i started its tag on ao3 i think most of my opinions on it would be unpopular. but i do think it deserves more attention (also it's perfect for cafe/coffee shop/etc aus. just saying.)

What made you ship it?

the craziest thing happened on saturday and that is. while on our way to kfc, corey said to me "i just had a thought earlier. hear me out: fyodor, nikolai, and nathaniel all have two hands. what if. all of them together👀" and then literally five minutes later you send me a message and said "fyonikonathan nightmare polycule" and so basically it was just fate i think

What are your favorite things about the ship?

they would all hate it so much. nathaniel is against dating one man let alone two. fyodor also probably has some religious hangups. and nikolai thinks feeling affection of any sort is a cage. and yet. and yet. here they are. nightmare polycule fr (i love them)

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

there are like three of us here so. i don't think so sdfgfhgjhk

honestly.... sskk is the only atsushi ship that i really ship. i'm a pretty big multishipper for bsd but for some reason i ca't really see atsushi with anyone besides akutagawa

What would have made you like it?

not sure tbh... probably just if i didn't ship sskk so much skhjghfg

Despite not shipping it, do you have anything positive to say about it?

they are kinda cute i won't lie. i read at least three of the four fics in the tag, and i enjoyed them!! but i prefer these three as a chaotic friend trio

i think. i just don't care much about katai bc we don't see a whole lot of him in canon 😭

if katai had more screentime/development, maybe? once again i just. don't care about him that much and so i don't really feel strongly about any ships he's part of sdfgfgk

What made you ship it?

corey and i were joking around about ranpo finding someone from the mafia to hook up with so he wouldn't be the only ada member who'd never been with someone from the mafia and. we settled on kajii. anyway i think they just have a friends with benefits thing going on for a while and neither of them really want more than that. it's like a science experiment to kajii and a silly game to ranpo <3

What are your favorite things about the ship?

it's SO funny to me. ranpo really said i'm going to go sleep with a dangerous port mafia bomber bc of FOMO.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

is there even anyone else out here who ships it besides me and corey? i think there was like. one fic for them on ao3 which was a >2k word smutfic and has since been deleted

for the trope ask game: coffee shop au?

it's like. a fifty fifty, i haven't read a lot of coffee shop aus (because they almost all have the same premise), but i'd love to put my own twist on it sometime i know i've said atsujunilucy would be good for this but i'm leaning more towards a pairing like kunichuuzai(or kunichuu?? skk?? i dont know i couldn't decide so i just made them all hold hands) or bramcraft for it. since they're silly and i think it'd be fun to explore them in a setting like that

wahh omg i love them both q sexuality hc: no way they have that figured out. gender hc: nonbinary, they/them a ship i have with said character: none a BROTP i have with said character: not really a brotp, but elise & q dynamic character studies would be cool. just saying a NOTP i have with said character: not really into any ship w them a random headcanon: likes bright colors, crayons, stickers, especially frogs. frogs are a hyperfixation to them. do you understand general opinion over said character: AHHH i'm so curious about them all the time (especially w what they would possibly be like in beast). they deserve so many more fics and i think it's fascinating how many paralells you can draw w them to some other characters, i want to know why their eyes and hair are like that (even if i have my own personal backstory for them which has reasons for why) think they also deserved more screentime, development, and i like their motif with handprints vaguely atsushi sexuality hc: i don't know if he'd label his sexuality. maybe bisexual gender hc: he/him, have thought of him being nonbinary (they/he enby or they/them enby) also however a ship i have with said character: atsujuni/atsulucy/atsujunilucy why is that a tongue twister. a BROTP i have with said character: does anyone understand atsushi & tachihara dynamic potential. please a NOTP i have with said character: none! i like most atsushi ships :] a random headcanon: colorblind atsushi !! unfortunately i can't find the specific colorblindness i personally hc for him, but, i do think he has it bonus: crutches atsushi is this anything general opinion over said character: i love him as a protagonist, i love his design and outfit, i love his silly eye color. i also love seeing his dynamics with Every Character and how people personally explore it. somehow he feels underrated even if he's the protagonist. i miss him

THE TANIZAKI SIBLINGS !!!!!!!!!!! i have so many hot takes jun'ichiro tanizaki first impression: oh he's coo- oh what the fuck. impression now: ah. you have issues. you have so many issues. maybe go hold someone's hand and calm down. or go pet a cat. do you want to go to a cat cafe? maybe you should go to a cat cafe favorite moment: his introduction was BANGER and nobody can tell me otherwise idea for a story: he gets a hobby for photography and the ada pitches in here and there. it's calming for him. naomi tags along also. some sibling bonding but primarily it's a therapuetic hobby to tanizaki unpopular opinion: i feel like people make him too soft. please let him go batshit. thank you favorite relationship: him and atsushi's is cute to me. also he'd have a silly dynamic with lucy. gestures to atsujunilucy i'd also like to honorably mention the rest of the ada!!!!! favorite headcanon: i somehow ended up giving him anger issues/major intrusive thought issues (someone get him some therapy.? please?) idk how. oh also he is trans!!

naomi tanizaki first impression: oh. gross. impression now: her character is very neat once you look past the Cons, i like her design also it's very cute yet simple favorite moment: girl barely had any moments so i can't choose a favorite one :( maybe the one where she sacrifices herself?? i'm not sure idea for a story: i don't have many for her, none that are fleshed out anyway. but i do want to do a character study with the tanizaki siblings unpopular opinion: if we can make her brother nonincestuous we can do the same with her and not just erase her character from existence, i think? favorite relationship: due to the lack of content of naomi i'm kind of stumped. tanizaki and hers relationship is kinda uncomfortable to me in canon so i can't say theirs in good conscious. i want to know her relationship with the rest of the ada though!! favorite headcanon: she should be a little sassy as a treat
