So Black Flag still holds up beautifully 10 years after it’s release but why does it even need a remake??? AC1 has been out SIX YEARS PRIOR to Black Flag and Ubisoft still didn’t announce anything regarding a remake. Now is the time since Mirage looks heavily reminiscent of AC1 and it’s medieval Middle Eastern setting. That would’ve been such an awesome opportunity but seems Ubisoft chose to pass it on. I’ve been told they usually like to maximize their profits on making games similar to one other. Well in this case, the pirate game Skull and Bones was in development for several years now and I believe Ubisoft’s Greed plans to incorporate some of that game’s features onto the remake of Black Flag, which is cool but unnecessary. The original 2013 game is still amazing the way it is.
