Assassination Classroom Fan fiction (karmaxmanami)

Manami's POV.

After our trip in island, our sensei gave us time to relax our body and mind. It is after doing a great assassination plan and the very eventful virus threat, Koro- sensei and the rest of our teacher wanted us to have some time for ourselves.

And now, here I am standing in the front of giant bookshelves consists of science books that helps my research. I am currently formulating a formula with the help of Koro-sensei.

I picked up the huge and thick red book, the one that is just in front of me. My face crumpled a little bit as I felt the heaviness of it. I quickly put the book in my arm, clipped and supported with my body.

I decided to read the book in the very corner of the huge bookshelves. Sure, there are a lot of free tables in this library but I have this habit that I enjoy reading if I am alone, literally. I like it when there's no people around me and no noise coming from their whispers.

I sat down and settled myself. As soon as I settled, I quickly opened the book and scanned until page 389. I actually started reading this book, there are lot of amazing ideas, experiments and informations that I can't get enough of it. If only I could borrow this and bring this to my house without hassle...

I am in middle of reading how to mix some familiar chemicals when I noticed a shadow towering over me.

"Oh, It's Okuda-san!" A familiar manly yet sexy voice echoed in my ears. I automatically lifted my head and only to see a smirking devil face.

"K-Karma-kun!" I exclaimed his name. He smirk even more as he lifted his hand to his chin.

"Hmm..."

"W-what are you doing here?" I stuttered. Suddenly, I want to pinch my self for stammering in front of Karma-kun.

"Heh? Isn't it obvious? Of course I'm here for books." He answered, and without further notice, he seated beside me, making me jump a little bit on my seat.

Books? Well, Karma-kun is one hell of intelligent student of our academy so it does really make sense for Karma-kun to be here.

"W-what books?" I asked again, shyly. If Karma is this always close to me, I can already call myself lucky to utter a single word.

"What else? It's an article." He raised his another hand, the one holding a book. It is an article about someone got bloody assassinated.

My face palmed.

"Ah...you surely like that kind of stuffs Karma-kun..." I commented awkwardly.

"Yeah.." He answered and began scanning his book.

I unconsciously scratched my cheek. I surely forgot how Karma-kun loves violence.

I cleared my throat and decided to mind my own business already. I continue reading the steps of the experiments when I felt Karma-kun move closer towards me. He closed our distance and put his all attention to my book.

"What's that Manami?" He asked me. I could feel his face is only one inch away to my face!

"Huh? Ah...b-book!" I answered, almost panicking. I answered him without even moving my head. I am like a frozen idiot.

But wait, Manami? He called me Manami? He did right?

But what made my heart fell is when he laugh. "Of course I know that's a book Manami. I'm not stupid you know. What I mean is, whats that book all about?"

Oh, he did. He did called me Manami. But...why?

"Mana..mi?" I asked slowly. I also move away a little bit from him just to face him totally. I saw him raised his eyebrow.

"Hmm?"

"Why d-did you call me Manami?" I asked, almost hesitant. I could feel my cheeks burning up. I'm sure I look like a stupid tomato right now. I am hella sure that I am red as Karma-kun's hair!

"Hmm? I just feel like to call your name. Why? You don't like it?" He said. My eyes widened.

"N-no! I-it's not like that! Ahm... I-I'm just surprise...you know, y-you used to call me Okuda-san..." I explained, completely stuttering. I looked down and played the edge of the page I am currently reading. I just can't stay looking at his intense eyes.

I felt him moved closer again, and lifted my chin using his right hand. I blushed. I could feel the rushing heat to my cheeks, as I remind myself that his face is already inches away from me! Again!

"I just feel like to call you Manami. After all, all I wanted is to call the girl I like...casually." He said as he smiled genuinely to me.

My jaw almost dropped. I blink a thousand times before looking away.

What does he mean by that?!! Oh my god, I am million times my times sure that my face is now redder than Karma-kun's hair!

He lifted my chin again, only to find his intense eyes again.

"Look at me, Manami. I've just confessed my feelings, and you just looked away. I am offended." He stated. My eyes widened again.

"I-I... I am sorry!" He laughed on my sudden burst. I bit my lip.

So embarrassing Manami!

"I like you, Manami." He said, directly this time. He's just very straight forward.

"So, Manami... How about you? What do you think about me?" He asked slowly, and this time he's more serious. He looked straight into my eyes and I could imagine that he could see my soul through it!

"K-karma-kun... I..." I trailed. He remained looking at me and patiently waiting for me as I find the right words to say.

"I..." I gulped.

"I... I like you too, K-karma-kun..." I said, almost a whisper. I saw him blink thrice before his lips form into a smirk.

"I knew it, Manami!" He replied and pulled me for a hug. I blushed more but in the end I cannot stop myself smiling.

Can you believe it? I just confessed to Karma and so was he! I have never thought this day would come.

"I like you more, Manami." Karma-kun said as he remained hugging me and caressed my hair.

I smiled widely, ... But also immediately faded when I saw a pink circular head gawking at us. And I saw his tentacles holding something... A camera?!

"K- Koro-sensei!" I exclaimed, making Karma-kun startled a little bit. He broke the hug and turned his attention to our sensei.

"He saw us!" I said. I am panicky and... embarrassed...

"Heh? That octopus stalked me again?" Karma-kun mumbled.

"He got a p-picture of us Karma!" I said. Hoping Karma will do something.

But he didn't. He just looked at me amusingly.

"K-Karma?" I called out. His smiled widened.

"Let him be, Manami. It's just a hug anyway. It's not like we're kissing or something more than that..." He stated, my cheeks reddened again.

What....

I glared at him and smacked his shoulder. He just laughed and pulled me again for another hug.

"Next time, it will be not just a hug." He whispered naughtily. I pinched his shoulder. He winced a little bit.

"Aw! You little devil, you'll pay for that!" He whispered again.

I only smiled. You are the little devil Karma!
