(This Artwork was made in May)
It's very hard to put my feelings into words when I first heared Samo Mi Se Spava by Luke Black during the first Semi-Finals. It was a mix of being amazed by how experimental the song was but I also felt this odd feeling of Nostalgia. But also being amazed on how fresh this song sounds...as I said, very hard to describe.
I decided to draw my perception for this song. The image idea was inspired by one shot during the Grand Final where it looked like the flower Bed Luke formally layed in turned into Angel wings (it was just a composition thing). ...and I knew from that moment on "I had to draw this"
And I didn't intended this image to be that vulnerable. It even got to a point where I was insanely embarrassed and felt stupid for even drawing this image in the first place. "Wouldn't it be better to start this idea anew and find a new way of depicting the idea?"...but I tried to pull through. In the end. I still like it. It's still super vulnerable but I think I'm okay with that feeling now haha!
