it is imp to remember that this is not about religion and the ethnic cleansing of artsakh proves this. all oppressive regimes are connected regardless of religion and that is why azerbaijan and israel have good relations. another example is saudi arabia having good relations with america and israel while also killing other muslims in yemen.
interestingly, like israel, saudi also uses religion to gain credibility (recently got holy mosque imam to give statement condemning boycotts and encouraging muslims to not be involved in the situation in palestine) and recruit muslim supporters from all over the world, while simultaneously killing/imprisoning muslim critics of the kingdom.
similarly, israel sells itself as a safe haven for jews and convinces jews around the world to migrate to israel while also simultaneously criminalizing antizionist jews all over the world, even suggesting that theyre not 'real jews' (reminiscent of takfirism which is a core part of saudi wahabi ideology) [ fun fact: the house of saud came into power in arabia with help from the british, just like the zionists in palestine! ]
oppressive regimes are directly connected and mirror each other in several ways. this is why liberation and resistance movements need to unite and work together across the world

Dedicating Faiz Ahmed Faiz's poem to all the oppressed people throughout the world, specially Palestinians.
A few more days, my love, only a few days more
It is our lot to live under the shadow of tyranny
To suffer this outrage, to bear this pain, to weep awhile
This legacy of our past is our cross to bear
Our bodies are confined, our emotions in shackles
Worry is a prisoner, Speech is proscribed
But there’s a courage within us that keeps us going
It’s as if our very life is a beggar's garment
That needs to be patched with pain, time after time
But now these cruel times have almost run their course
This impatient longing is almost over
In this burnt desolation that is the world and its time
We have to go on, but not this way
The unbearable torment of unseen hands
The futility of heartburn, the body's unheard lament
Has to be endured for now, but not forever
This dust of sorrow that veils your beauty
This bounty of defeats on our fleeting youth
This worthless throbbing under moonlit nights
A few more days, my love, only a few days more

Armenia. Tavush. 2013.
"Emma Arzumanyan is 75 years old. She picks fruit in the forest outside the small town of Ayrum where she lives. We came across Emma and her daughter picking berries on the edge of the forest. Emma looked very fragile in her big pale blue cardigan that had massive holes in the elbows (from catching on the thorns). She had scratches covering her hands and wrists from the thorns on the berry bushes. And when she stepped through the bushes to get nearer to the ripest berries, her flimsy long skirt caught on the bushes revealing more scratches on her ankles and legs. “I started picking fruit to earn money when my husband died. If I can sell my fruit at the roadside market, I will get 300 drams a kilo .. around 1, 000 drams for a full bucket. I get a small pension, but I don’t have another income. I live with my daughter in one room. I know that the processing plant will be opening next year and I’m hopeful it will help me with guaranteed sales and fixed prices.”

The way I had to just force correct my 'For You' page on TikTok. All of a sudden it was just a bunch of random vids from topics I've never even followed to the water challenge like...they really thought they were gonna catch me slipping. Yeah I'm tired. But you know who else is tired? Every person in the middle of a war or genocide and struggle for freedom who can't even catch a breath let alone sleep properly.
The censorship is so fucking real. None of the creators I follow for Palestinian content are even appearing when I scroll since week so I have to actively search for them to like their newest vids, comment + share. Hell, its Sudan action week and I wasn't seeing any of that or the Sudanese creators either. I'm sure I'm not the only one so please guys, don't let up on doing all the things required to beat the darn algorithms.
The corporations are working hard iya, so we must work even harder to push Palestinian content to the top, to keep eyes on Sudan, on DR Congo, the Armenians, Uyghurs, every cause and people we're trying to keep focus on and push for. We have to put in the work.

Ukrainians hoped for an endless and unwavering support from the United States and the West to defeat Russian aggression and reclaim lost territories. However,it is now clearly visible that the support is diminishing as geopolitical priorities shift.America and the west cannot save two pawns at a time so now they will abandon ukraine to save something that is more precious and useful(Israel).Poor ukrainians will now be left at the mercy of Russians. This is what you get when you trust America and its allies
