Gangs of Sherwood can’t even get ladders right. You clip through ladders with a harsh shudder before the climbing animation kicks in, and if there’s no solid ground rendered behind said ladder, you can pass through and take falling damage.
I thought I’d kick us off with that little quirk, just to give you an idea of what this ostensibly cooperative third-person action game is like. I say the co-op is ostensible because, to the surprise of only the developers, almost nobody is playing this thing. On the very rare occasion I did find a second player, the game became likely to crash.

Exploring New Lands in an Old World in Outcast 2
Outcast 2 puts you in the role of a ’90s action movie hero, with Cutter Slade back in business to once again help his Talan friends on Adelpha rise up against their oppressors. In the first game Slade’s crew caused the entire mess and this time it’s a high-tech robo-army invasion, however, so there’s not much mostly-peaceful mystical aliens can do here.

i think i wouldn’t hate disco elysium’s collage mode nearly as much if it weren’t for 1) the way that it was marketed in such a tasteless, soulless manner, let alone the fact that it was a last ditch distraction from a dead on its feet studio piloted by dumbass thieving execs and released on the day of the court declaration, and 2) those dumbass fucking stickers
like if it had been included with the base game from the start and had been titled something a bit more tasteful and in-line with how i would have liked the feature to be marketed as— something like “exploration mode”, something that perhaps could only be unlocked after completing the game for the first time, AND didn’t have those stupid as hell visually and tonally incongruent with the artstyle stickers, i would have applauded it as a nice little bonus for being able to study and appreciate the 3d models and environments for reference.

I need someone who’s smarter than me to write an essay on the dichotomy within this fandom surrounding Gortash. One group is viciously attracted to him (hi, I live here). And while some list their reasons, another sub-group within this category don’t know why they find him attractive (they just do). The second group thinks he’s disgusting (insert emo retired final fantasy beer dad comment). And I just wanna know like…why are people so split on this? Like from an actual academic angle on design and human sexuality lmao

i'm obsessed with the kurobas side-story lore (databooks, merch, character interviews etc) but especially that one time we learned about all the miracles (plus kagami)'s favorite movies because of how psychologically devastating it is like!! kuroko's favorite movie is stand by me, a coming of age drama about a group of friends who experience a life-changing event together but ultimately go their separate ways. kagami's favorite movie is toy story, which, at the end of the day, is about the fear of abandonment. midorima's favorite movie is rocky, which is about the value of hard work in the face of fate. aomine's favorite movie godzilla, which is about the awakening of a monster (hello!), murasakibara's is home alone, which is...i guess a movie about the way your wishes don't really seem that great when they actually come true (he wishes to not be involved in basketball, but secretly, deep down, all he wants is the opposite of that – or so knb tells us). akashi's is the godfather, which is about a man trying to fill in his father's shoes as he copes with his own descent into darkness. kise's favorite movie is harry potter.
