Theory about Aziraphale and Crowley getting together in 1941

Teoria sobre Aziraphale e Crowley terem ficado juntos em 1941

Tenho 4 teorias sobre Crowley e Aziraphale juntos romanticamente em 1941, mas aqui irei comentar somente sobre três teorias.

1- E se o Crowley e Aziraphale ficaram juntos em 1941 e não se lembram disso?

Gabriel tomou medidas drásticas e retirou TODA a sua memória para a sua proteção e acredito que para a proteção de Belzebu também. Gabriel não queria mais contribuir com o céu, não queria um novo Armagedom e deixou isso claro para todos, até mesmo para o seu superior, o Metatron. Gabriel foi julgado e conseguiu fugir antes de ser punido. Ele fez um milagre e transferiu TODA a sua memória para a mosca que ele ganhou de presente da sua amada.

Crowley e Aziraphale estavam à flor da pele em 1941. Um ajudando o outro em um grande e selvagem aventura em tempos de Guerra. Nada podia pará-los naquele momento, nem mesmo a ameaça do inferno, com o Demônio Furfur, que teve os seus planos frustrados graças a mágica de Aziraphale.

Crowley se sentiu confortável em tirar os seus óculos na Livraria e até mesmo o Aziraphale se sentiu confortável em receber o amigo Crowley em sua Livraria. E por mais que a palavra "amigo" estivesse pairando entre eles pela primeira vez, eles no fundo sabiam que ela não tinha o significado suficiente para o que eles estavam vivendo naquele momento com tanta intensidade, sintonia e amor. Eles ficaram longe um do outro por quase 80 anos e quando voltaram em 1941, parecia que tudo era mais forte e incandescente. A chama entre eles estava mais viva do que nunca. Aziraphale estava como uma águia, voando alto, com suas assas pegando fogo ao sentir-se perdidamente apaixonado por Crowley e Crowley se sentiu amado e cuidado pelo seu Anjo, após este lhe ajudar, lhe receber confortavelmente em seu espaço e lhe salvar de um julgamento no inferno.

Eu acredito que Aziraphale e Crowley ficaram juntos genuinamente e romanticamente em 1941. O Primeiro beijo romântico deles aconteceu nessa época.

Alguma coisa aconteceu após eles ficarem juntos... talvez Aziraphale tenha entrado em desespero por causa do seu grande conflito interno, a luxúria, o pecado de provar a fruta da serpente do Éden. Eles podem ter ficado com medo do que poderia acontecer com eles caso um dos dois sistemas descobrisse. Alguma grande ameaça entre eles pode ter surgido novamente ou os dois, em comum acordo podem ter decidido retirar essa PEQUENA MEMÓRIA para a proteção de AMBOS! Nós também já vimos Aziraphale ameaçar não falar mais com o Crowley, caso ele não pensasse em algo para reverter a situação do Armagedom, no episódio 1x06. Crowley inclusive pode até ter dado essa ideia, assim como Belzeebub fez ao dar a mosca para Gabriel. Se algum perigo aconteceu entre eles, eu consigo visualizar os dois revertendo essa situação, por mais dolorosa que fosse, eles dariam um jeito.

Gabriel individualmente teve que fazer um GRANDE milagre para transferir TODA a sua memória. Não somente tudo o que ele viveu, mas também retirou o principal, o início da sua história com Belzebu, e o sentimento de amor por ela. Crowley e Aziraphale podem ter feito um milagre para transferir uma PEQUENA memória, não excluindo toda o restante da história deles.

"Eu ia te encontrar, mas... mas eu esqueci." - Gabriel para Belzeebub

Gabriel tinha o plano de encontrar Belzebu, mas não sabia que ao fazer esse grande milagre, ele esqueceria dela, de memórias sentimentais com ela... mesmo que eventualmente, em algum momento ele iria se lembrar de coisas relacionadas à eles, e foi justamente isso que aconteceu. Para Gabriel foi em um curto período de tempo pois ele teve a ajuda de Crowley e Azi por motivos de urgência, segurança e do esquecimento ser completo, mas para Crowley e Aziraphale pode ser mais difícil lembrar pois o esquecimento foi de uma pequena memória e eles não se encontravam tanto no passado, a relação deles se tornou um pouco mais próxima antes do primeiro Armagedom.

Sabemos que milagres em humanos e que são relacionados ao amor não funcionam. E isso é uma coisa que os anjos no geral não sabem, nem mesmo Gabriel sabia, mas Aziraphale é um anjo e ele sabe dessa informação...

Nos Anjos a situação é diferente, até acontece de esquecer, mas não é tirado por completo, nos humanos esse tipo de milagre não funciona, a pessoa não esquece quem ela ama.

Aziraphale fez o milagre do Baile de dança, que além de servir para finalmente tomar coragem e chamar Crowley para dançarem juntos, também serviu como um pretexto, colocando Nina e Maggie em um ambiente romântico para se conhecerem melhor e foi isso que aconteceu, criando um vínculo entre elas e mais histórias para o futuro. No final do Baile, com a ameaça do inferno, Aziraphale ficou desesperado e por segurança tentou por duas vezes apagar a memória das duas sobre tudo o que aconteceu naquela noite. (milagre do esquecimento sendo feito para apagar uma pequena memória) O milagre deu certo para a maioria, mas milagre não surtiu efeito para Nina e Maggie, pois Nina ainda estava apaixonada por seu parceiro e Maggie apaixonada por Nina. As duas estavam conscientes desde o início. No baile também tinha um outro casal, marido e mulher, e eles não foram afetados, nem mesmo quando Crowley pediu para que todos esquecessem o que aconteceu naquela noite (milagre do esquecimento sendo feito para apagar uma pequena memória)

Milagres relacionados ao esquecimento e que afetam o amor, podem ter quase o mesmo efeito em Anjos e também em Demônios, já que eles não são humanos. Mas o principal está lá... O AMOR! Gabriel pode ter transferido toda a sua memória, mas no fundo ele sabia de algo, um sentimento muito forte dentro dele surgia aos poucos, ele sabia que tinha amor ali, amor por Belzeebub. Algumas lembranças foram voltando para a sua memória, principalmente a música "Everyday - Buddy Holly" O amor estava fazendo isso nele, pois o AMOR é a coisa mais forte que ele tinha e foi justamente o que lhe salvou no final, junto com a Belzeebub.

Mas e em relação ao poder do Milagre? O milagre de esconder Gabriel foi muito forte, principalmente porque Aziraphale e Crowley estavam escondendo um poderoso Arcanjo do céu, os três deram as mãos e o milagre saiu mais forte do que eles imaginavam e com isso o alarme do céu tocou. Mas o céu não descobriu o milagre da troca de corpos, por exemplo. Talvez porque era segredo entre eles, somente Aziraphale e Crowley sabiam do plano. O céu nem mesmo descobriu o milagre da transferência que Gabriel fez, eles só sabiam que Gabriel tinha sumido. Acredito que Aziraphale e Crowley conseguiram retirar essa pequena memória deles sem que o céu e o inferno descobrissem o milagre, já que era um segredos entre eles. Não tinha existia uma terceira pessoa no meio disso ou até mesmo não era algo como esconder um arcanjo... Acho que eles fizeram isso por pensar que os dois sistemas tem o poder de vasculhar memórias. Sabemos que tem uma super câmera no céu e com ela é possível ver coisas externas e eles também deviam saber na época sobre os arquivos que são guardados no céu, por exemplo. Talvez seja por isso que Gabriel também teve medo e protegeu a sua memória com Belzebu.

Gabriel escondeu toda a sua memória na mosca.

Em qual lugar Aziraphale e Crowley esconderam as suas memórias?

"Banana, peixe, gorila, cadarço e uma pitada de noz- moscada." Essas palavras podem guardar o segredo deles, a memória deles. Se essas palavras forem mencionadas de forma correta, na sequência correta, pode revelar esse momento para eles.

Na primeira temporada Crowley faz um discurso enquanto está completamente bêbado e algumas palavras são as mesmas que Aziraphale fala no Flashback de 1941. O cérebro de Crowley espontaneamente estava tentando lembrar de algo? Ele falou de forma misturada, não foi a sequência correta, mas algumas palavras estavam lá! Ele também menciona os cérebros dos golfinhos. "Os cérebros são enormes."- Crowley.

Aziraphale e Crowley guardam muitas memórias e algo grande está lá na consciência deles e eles aos poucos podem lembrar disso. Aconteceu o mesmo com Gabriel, quando ele se esforçava para relembrar, mesmo que doendo muito, ele lembrava das memórias de forma misturada. Até mesmo Crowley concordou que dói tentar relembrar de algo que não lembra mais.

Nessa conversa da 1ª temporada, Aziraphale fala a parte assustadora, eu sei que eles falavam sobre o fim do mundo, mas note que é ele quem fala da parte que do Kraken, destruidor de navios = Ship. O quão grande e assustador a criatura é.

Essas palavras são mencionadas várias vezes, tanto na primeira temporada como na segunda temporada e até mesmo no livro Good Omens. Okey... mas como eles vão lembrar disso?

Gabriel fez um lembrete para si mesmo e escreveu na caixa para quando precisar lembrar novamente. "Estou na mosca!"

E se Aziraphale e Crowley decidiram guardar essa sequência de palavras no Livro de Magia do Professor Hoffman?

Pra mim faz total sentido esconder um segredo tão importante assim dentro de um livro e a simbologia que isso representa. Os livros em Good Omens tem uma simbologia, um significado imenso e eu não falo somente sobre o Livro da Vida, existem várias teorias sobre outros livros. A série adora esconder easter eggs em livros espalhados pela livraria do Aziraphale ou até mesmo nos posters da série, um exemplo disso é o poster da s02 (Imagem abaixo) com vários livros por trás da imagem do Crowley, como se fosse uma pista para algo. (sei de outras teorias relacionadas ao livro da vida, mas isso eu irei falar um outra hora) Metatron subestima o gosto por livros e pela leitura que serve para libertar as pessoas, que lhe dá novos pensamentos e conhecimentos. O livro é uma das coisas humanas que o Aziraphale mais gosta, além da comida. O próprio Gabriel lê as primeiras palavras do livro de Good Omens na série! Então não é uma loucura pensar que eles guardaram algo na Livraria e que pode ser em um livro.

Bônus da imagem do poster: No poster as asas do Aziraphale estão em direção ao céu, indicando que ele vai, mas algumas penas estão próxima de Crowley na cena da despedida, como uma indicação de proteção à distância.

Toda essa plot que aconteceu com o casal Gabriel e Belzeebub e nós sabemos que existe paralelos entre casais na série... Nina e Maggie também tem algo parecido aqui, mas o milagre só não surtiu efeito pois em humanos é diferente. Logo, eu não duvido que algo semelhante também tenha acontecido no passado de Crowley e Aziraphale. O minisódio de 1941 é tão icônico, que voltou na segunda temporada e deve voltar para a terceira temporada, já que Aziraphale mencionou ter dançado o "I was wrong" nessa época. A dança está relacionada a algo estranho na época? Resta saber...

Entendam que para Crowley e Aziraphale é muito difícil quando se tem ameaça à vida durante mais de 6 mil anos. Além dos traumas individuais de cada um, eles tinham que manter coisas em segredo para se protegerem e continuarem com a sua comunicação de forma indireta, com códigos e nas entrelinhas. Eles não podiam verbalizar seus sentimentos e nem mesmo demonstrar de forma explícita e direta. Se isso aconteceu, imagine o medo penetrando em suas mentes após o acontecimento, imagine um Aziraphale desesperado, e isso é triste pois é algo tão bonito, mas que ao mesmo tempo da medo... que eles queriam, mas não entendiam... logo entrava questões de pecado, conflitos internos e insegurança... - "O que vai acontecer depois disso?" "Vamos nos ver? Não vamos mais nos encontrar?" "E se descobrirem?!" Crowley também pode ter sentido medo, é algo novo para ele e nunca foi fácil para os dois. Eles não tinham nem mesmo uma liberdade completa, para a frágil segurança que eles conseguiram um para o outro após o Armagedom na 1ª temporada.

Se realmente aconteceu alguma coisa ou algo parecido, o principal entre eles sempre estará lá! O amor mais puro... o verdadeiro milagre deles! Caso Metatron tente algum milagre contra Aziraphale e Crowley, é certo que ele não conseguirá tirar. Ele nem mesmo conseguiu tirar o amor que os dois sentem um pelo outro após o 2x06. Mesmo que sem milagres, Metatron pode ter feito os dois se separarem, mas não tirou o amor...

O F*CKING AMOR INEFÁVEL DELES!

Metatron não sabe o poder que esse sentimento significa, ele não sabe nada sobre amor e nem mesmo qualquer milagre do universo vai tirar isso de Aziraphale e Crowley - O amor inefável.

Teoria 2...

2- E se Aziraphale retirou e guardou a SUA memória do beijo que aconteceu entre eles em 1941?

Aziraphale disse que milagres para fazerem humanos se apaixonarem não funciona. "Milagres não funcionam assim."

Mesmo ele sabendo que não funciona em humanos, ele tenta algo novamente, e faz isso com Nina e Maggie no Baile de dança. É possível ver o som do milagre no 2x05, minuto 26:50... (pelo menos foi isso que entendi nessa cena) o milagre não faz efeito, as duas continuam muito conscientes do que está acontecendo, mas ainda sim, o milagre geral do Baile e toda aquela situação serviu para elas se conhecerem melhor. O ponto interessante é o segundo milagre, o do esquecimento, que de tabela pode afetar o amor, mas como eu já falei várias vezes aqui, não funciona em humanos e isso se provou no final. Aziraphale tenta o milagre do esquecimento DUAS vezes e faz isso em desespero e para a segurança das duas. Não deu resultado e eu acho que ele não esperava por isso, pois ele tentou duas vezes o mesmo milagre.. eu acho que ele esperava dar certo apagar aquela memória porque ele sabe que funciona para anjos.. E como ele sabe disso? Uma das punições do céu é justamente apagar a memória em anjos desobedientes ao céu. Talvez ele tenha deduzido que fosse dar certo em humanos, mas mesmo assim não funcionou. Talvez ele tenha feito no automático, em desespero e viu que não conseguiu. Temos um Aziraphale que sabe que milagres para fazer humanos se apaixonarem não funciona e agora ele sabe também que milagres para fazer esquecer e que afetam o amor também não funcionam em humanos. (Eu interpretei dessa forma, mas posso estar totalmente enganada.)

E se Aziraphale sabe que apagar memórias de anjos da certo, ele deve ter tentado isso nele e nem lembra, pois é uma pequena memória.

Pessoas são totalmente imunes, mas Aziraphale não é uma pessoa, ele é um Anjo, e como eu já mencionei lá em cima, milagres relacionados ao amor em Anjos pode ser diferente, o principal não é apagado, o amor continua. (Como aconteceu com Gabriel, e aqui nessa 2ª teoria é um paralelo entre Gabriel e Aziraphale) Sabe que sente, que tem algo forte ali, algo que lhe puxa, que é como um imã para o outro, mas não lembra exatamente a memória disso, mesmo que eventualmente lembre de coisas misturadas como o passar do tempo (Como aconteceu com Gabriel) ou até que encontre um caminho que indique onde essa memoria está guardada. No fim, tudo é como um destino, as almas gêmeas sempre vão se encontrar. Aziraphale e Crowley são Yin-yang.

Vamos nos aprofundar na teoria 2 agora... Se preparem!

"A Nightingales Sang in Berkeley Square" é uma canção romântica escrita em 1939, mas gravada só em 1940. A música se tornou popular durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial. Essa música menciona o rouxinol, que sempre inspirou amor para os poetas. Eles são famosos por cantar à noite, mas apenas os machos não pareados cantam regularmente à noite. As fêmeas dos rouxinóis tornam-se bastante ativas por volta da meia-noite e se movimentam (dançam) em busca de um companheiro. Assim que ela encontrar um parceiro adequado, o macho deixará de cantar durante a noite, mas continuará a cantar durante o dia para defender o seu território. (a música Nightingales toca logo pela manhã no Bentley com o Crowley no carro - 2x06)

Em 1941, Aziraphale já tem o seu Gramofone (Gif abaixo) e certamente ele tem um vinil com a música "A Nightingales Sang in Berkeley Square"

Agora imagine Aziraphale e Crowley juntos em 1941, bebendo vinho, conversando, a música ao fundo tocando pela primeira vez, eles trocando alguns flertes, totalmente entregues um ao outro e finalmente uma pequena dança entre eles... frente a frente, cada vez mais próximo um do outro ao ponto de um abraço suave e reconfortante, seguindo de um beijo romântico e inesperado.

Essa cena vai acontecer, eu coloco minha mão no fogo por ela... eu creio!! Será Babilônica!! Rogai São Arcanjo Aziraphale!!

"Você não dança." - Crowley 2x05

Aziraphale estava muito nervoso e ansioso para chamar Crowley para dançar no Baile... ele fez toda uma programação para acontecer, parecia um adolescente apaixonado, era como se fosse a primeira vez dele dançando com Crowley... e Crowley de repente solta um confuso "Você não dança." Como assim Aziraphale não dança se ele mesmo fez a dança do "I was wrong" em 1941 e em todos os outros momentos? Crowley se referia a uma dança romântica? Dança de casal? Eles tiveram uma dança? Alô 1941?!!!

Aziraphale fez alguma coisa em 1941 após a dança deles, ele pode ter recuado e mencionado não saber dançar... "Eu não danço!"; "Eu não deveria ter feito isso!"... Que nada daquilo era para ter acontecido entre eles, negando a si mesmo as suas vontades, machucando ele e principalmente Crowley.

No livro é mencionado que pela primeira vez na história o rouxinol cantou em Berkeley Square.. fazendo referência a música, mas na segunda temporada a coisa muda, nao é só conhecimento do público, é algo entre eles também... a música toca no radio e rouxinol/nightgale é lembrado e mencionado por Crowley dentro da livraria. Ele não fala o nome da música, mas fala do rouxinol que tem na música.. ele faz um gesto apontando para cima, mesmo que dentro da livraria e sabemos que Azi gosta de escutar música na livraia. Aziraphale sem paciência fala que não escuta nada naquele momento.. bom, eles não estão na rua ou até mesmo em Berkeley Square, eles estão na livraria.

"Não estou ouvindo nada." - Aziraphale

"Aí está o ponto... Nada de Rouxinóis." Crowley

Aziraphale fica parado, o seu rosto não movimenta e quase não existe expressões.. ele parece tentar entender, ele parece um pouco confuso, não sei.. mas ele certamente sabe o significado de rouxinol na literatura, já que ele lê bastante e eu acredito que ele também tem o vinil.

Talvez seja por isso que a música toca no rádio do Bentley, seria a música deles se Aziraphale ainda estivesse com Crowley, a música sendo como um lembrete do passado, e eles indo ao Ritz tomar um belo café alcoólico.

Crowley escuta "Nightgales" logo pela manhã, assim como o rouxinol canta, mas dessa vez sem o seu parceiro para defender.

Talvez o toque de Aziraphale na boca tenha um significado maior e até mesmo um paralelo. Uma memória escondida.

Talvez o beijo desesperado e nada romântico que o Crowley deu tenha um significado maior e até mesmo um paralelo.

E é disso que todas essas teorias aqui tratam.. um prineiro beijo romântico entre eles no passado e não um beijo desesperado sendo o primeiro beijo deles.

Azi disse na Livraria (2x02) para os anjos Miguel, Uriel e Saraquael, é que o amor é algo específico dos humanos, é algo somente deles. Anjos tem a sua função e existência estabelecidas no céu e na terra. Aziraphale tem a sua existência e funções relacionadas ao Principado. Essa é a sua identidade e isso é quem ele é. Ele é Guardião da Humanidade e é fiel a isso e todas as coisas do céu e Deus... ele não pode simplesmente fugir, ele não é igual ao Gabriel que é egoísta e egocêntrico, ele não abandona um dever, esmo que isso custe para quem ele ama e até para si mesmo. Aziraphale deve acreditar que sua existência não foi feita para amar de forma apaixonada e romântica.

E para dificultar mais a situação da cabeça de Aziraphale, esse sentimento vivo, mas latente, que é constantemente negado por ele, mas que persiste, são depositados para o Crowley, que é um demônio..

Agora pegue essas informações acima e imagine um Aziraphale se sabotando, em desespero e tentando negar esse sentimento, que segundo ele é específico para humanos. Ele pega isso e faz algo muito doloroso para si mesmo e toda a sua relação com o Crowley.

Acredito que Aziraphale retirou e guardou a SUA pequena memória do beijo no livro de Mágica do Professor Holffman... ou quem sabe até mesmo no livro oco, onde ele guarda a sua arma Derringer, na Livraria. Assim como fez o Arcanjo Gabriel com o lembrete de "Estou na mosca." Aziraphale com muita dor, guardou aquele beijo por segurança e medo... medo de ceder e acontecer outras vezes, medo por toda a questão de trauma, o medo dita a vida de Aziraphale desde o começo e traumas assim não somem do dia para a noite. O medo te paralisa e te faz fazer coisas no desespero. Ele deve ter pensado.. "Se isso continuar, eles podem nos pegar e seremos severamente punidos!"; "Vão nos retirar do livro da vida!"; "Nunca mais verei Crowley!" Aziraphale pode ter conseguido retirar apenas aquela > pequena memória < entre eles e guardado. O Restante não foi apagado, o sentimento por Crowley continuou.

Lembrem que o milagre do esquecimento na Livraria (2x05) funcionou para a maioria que estava lá. E foi especificado apagar as memórias daquela noite, DENTRO DA LIVRARIA... onde o vínculo da Nina e Maggie começou de fato. Nina e Maggie também fazem paralelo com Azi e Crowley de 1941, onde teve grande importância dentro da Livraria, foi a primeira vez dos dois estavam juntos lá no passado... a não ser que eles tenham se encontrado em algum outro momento entre 1920 até 1941. Lá foi local onde os dois estavam confortáveis para se conhecer melhor, ser quem eles são sem julgamentos e tudo mais... (perceberam o paralelo dentro da livraria aqui?)

Em 1941, Crowley pode ter notado algo estranho, alguma atitude estranha de Aziraphale com ele... talvez por isso eles tenham demorado tantos anos para se reencontrar novamente. Talvez, se Crowley não tivesse colocando a sua vida em risco para conseguir pegar uma água benta na igreja, Aziraphale não teria aparecido tão cedo novamente. Ainda mais com um "Você vai muito rápido para mim, Crowley." Alguma coisa aconteceu no passado. Algo que Azirapahale fez ao ponto de fazer a dança do "I was worng." em 1941. Crowley pode ter tentado uma segunda investida e foi dolorosamente afastado por Aziraphale, que naquele momento não lembrava mais do beijo

okey... mas e o Crowley? Ele não disse nada?! Bom, um beijo entre um Anjo e um Demônio é certamente um tópico muito sensível e muito perigoso para conversar... principalmente se Aziraphale lhe repreendeu em uma segunda tentativa, em um segundo beijo... outro ponto, é que eles mal conversam um com o outro.. Crowley pode ter ficado com raiva de alguma atitude do Aziraphale no passado. Aziraphale pode ter ignorado alguma investida, simplesmente porque ele não tinha mais a memória e agiu de forma estranha. Crowley jurou para si mesmo nunca mais tocar no assunto. Com o passar do tempo ele pode até ter achado que foi um erro o beijo entre eles, e por isso achou melhor não falar nada, pois é algo que lhe entristece profundamente. Crowley também tem seus traumas e certamente ele remoeu muita coisa dentro dele, como questões de insegurança e abandono. Ele não queria estar longe de Aziraphale e se fosse para esquecer o assunto, ele esqueceria.

Talvez seja por isso que Crowley tenha ficado em choque ao saber da percepção do olhar dos outros, quando Nina falou com todas as letras que era óbvio para ela que eles eram como um casal de namorados, até mesmo como maridos! Ele devia ter muitas duvidas em relação ao amor de Aziraphale com ele, por tudo que aconteceu no passado, ele deve ter pensado... "Espera... se a Nina consegue ver isso entre mim e Aziraphale hoje, quer dizer que eu tenho uma segunda chance?! Pois também é algo recíproco da parte dele?!"

Eu não falo do Crowley ter dúvidas do seu amor em relação a Aziraphale, falo das dúvidas que ele tem em relação ao Aziraphale com ele. Deu pra entender? Crowley ama o Aziraphale e isso é canônico, o Neil Gaiman já confirmou. É mais fácil para Crowley, pois ele não considera nenhum dos dois sistemas (céu/Inferno) e isso é devido aos traumas, o seu mundo é somente Aziraphale. Já Azirapahle é dependente emocional e total do céu, devido aos traumas e só após um desencanto que ele irá mudar (isso já está acontecendo e não falo especificamente do final do 2x06) Mas não significa que Azi não tenha amor pelo Crowley, ele tem e está apaixonado desde 1941.

Não dá pra negar que existem dúvidas na cabeça do Crowley, dúvidas e não entendimento em relação a dinâmica disso, um exemplo é o Crowley não entender a insistência da Nina e da Maggie em querer que eles conversem sobre a relação deles e que finalmente se acertem. Existe uma confusão de pensamentos, eles não entendem o que certo tipo de atitude significa, eles passaram por dúvidas durante muitos anos e pouquíssimas conversas no decorrer de suas vidas.... mesmo que com todos os encontros do passado e todas as décadas e séculos... mesmo com os flertes nas entrelinhas, as atitudes de gentileza um com o outro, o encorajamento, a ajuda de ambos, a parceria, a amizade, a validação dos gostos, o respeito de opiniões, a linguagem de códigos... mesmo que com tudo isso, eles não tem a prática do que falta...

O toque, o abraço, o beijo e principalmente a conversa sobre a relação deles e tudo o que viveram... isso tudo é algo que eles não tem e que precisam. É algo que no fundo eles querem, mas não entendem direito como funciona, tudo porque eles não tem liberdade para se expressar de forma direta e segura. Eles são como a maçã um do outro. Anseiam experimentar ao mesmo tempo que existe uma proibição (mais para Aziraphale) em relação a isso. É uma simbologia como a do fruto proibido.

Teoria 3...

3 - A teoria três é bem curta. E considere muito do que eu já disse até agora. Ela é uma pequena variação do que poderia ter acontecido. Tudo porque eu acredito e quero muito que um beijo romântico tenha acontecido entre eles nessa época, que é uma das melhores, se não o melhor minisódio entre o fandom.

E se Aziraphale e Crowley simplesmente juraram nunca mais tocar no assunto do beijo em 1941?

And if Aziraphale is Crowley they simply swore never to bring up the subject of the kiss again in 1941?

Aconteceu, foi lindo, foi recíproco e teve uma grande euforia inicial. Depois algum tempo e reflexão eles ficaram com medo. Pensamentos aleatórios correndo por suas mentes sobrecarregadas. Certamente Aziraphale se sabotou e falou alguma grosseria que ele não queria dizer, como já vimos isso na série... certamente o Crowley não gostou nada e exigiu desculpas de Aziraphale. Vale lembrar que no livro o Cowley tem tanto medo dos sistemas quanto Aziraphale e na série foi possível perceber um pouco mais disso no 2x01, afinal de contas ele precisa dessa segurança porque ele não quer nada acontecendo com ele e nem com o Aziraphale.

Crowley e Aziraphale acreditam que não são dignos de amor. Sim, isso passa ou já passou pela cabeça deles devido aos traumas. Crowley acha que não é o suficiente e que não faz as coisas direito, e por isso sempre é abandonado, o mesmo para Aziraphale que se entrega ao máximo para ter o mínimo e não tem apoio. Eles precisam de um pouco de amor próprio e eles precisam enxergar que eles tem o apoio um do outro e é só isso que importa, é o que basta para eles. Mas calma, eles vão conseguir isso um dia. E esse dia vai ser o mais lindo da vida deles.

Não precisou de milagre para guardar essa memória. Eles apenas juraram, prometeram nunca mais tocar no assunto, até mesmo para continuar se encontrando e em proteção. Talvez eles até tenham tentado negar o sentimento entre eles, principalmente Aziraphale, mas é impossível negar algo tão forte. Imaginem a tortura de sempre pensar no beijo e ainda evitar o assunto quando estão frente a frente. Foi por isso eles demoraram tanto a se encontrar? Não tinham coragem por medo de não se segurar e acontecer novamente? Eles demoraram tanto pra se encontrar... volto a dizer... se o Crowley não tivesse arriscado a sua vida por uma água benta, acho que Aziraphale teria demorado mais tempo para a aparecer, mas Aziraphale nunca iria deixar Crowley fazer isso, porque eles sempre estão vigiando um ao outro, vigiando à distância. Crowley sempre sabia quando Aziraphale corria perigo e o Aziraphale sempre esteve lá também por ele, mesmo que da última vez ele tenha chegado perto do limite para se encontrar de novo.

"Você vai muito rápido pra mim, Crowley"

Essa frase pode ter um significado mais profundo aqui. Afinal, Crowley não nega os seus sentimentos, e oferece uma carona para Aziraphale, pois essa é a linguagem de amor que ele tem, a linguagem de segurança que ele pode dar, o código entre eles.

"Quer uma carona?" :(

A minha 4ª teoria é mais insana e também é sobre um provável beijo entre eles em 1941. Um outro dia eu posto ela aqui, pois é uma teoria grande e eu gosto de detalhar quando escrevo.

Espero que vocês tenham gostado do meu surto acima. Eu estou muito hiperfocada em Good Omens e escrever sobre eles me faz bem, mesmo que possa parecer uma loucura tudo isso. AoS Season 7: favorite decade for fashion

Favorite decade and favorite historical period are different, and it also depends on men’s vs women’s fashion.

Decade for men: 1930-40. Those suspenders are marvelous

Decade for women: 90’s. I’m boring and love a clean silhouette. Or the 40’s. I can 100% get behind those Queen Anne necklines, flattering skirts and blouses, and fun dresses

Historical period for men: 1700’s. Stede Bonnet has fashion figured out

Historical period for women: Medeival. I love gowns and rich colors but I don’t love the huge bustles and silhouettes of the Victorian or Edwardian periods. I love the drapery and embroidery of medieval fashion

Agent Carter 2x02: favorite Peggy fight scene

The diner fight scene in 1x06. It has everything: Peggy pointing out all the agents and how they’re clearing out the room, it being the first time she’s treated as an actual threat (as well as the injustice of only being recognized for her skills when she’s a threat), the climbing over the barrier into a perfect punch shot, fun jazzy music, Jarvis acting as her bumbling assistant, the epic catharsis of getting to show all those agents and SSR coworkers how truly out of their league she is, the realization that the L&L is no longer safe. SO good.

Also, the scene in 1x02 where she beats up the milk truck guy while the Captain America Adventure Program plays. They hit every beat with that one. I wasn’t watching Agent Carter as it came out, but I would bet it was the scene that had people convinced this show was going to do her justice. Setting her as Steve’s equal while she does things her own way. It’s a great example of a narratively important fight scene rather than just a two-people-beat-each-other-up sequence. It serves the theme of Peggy and Steve’s similarities and differences very well.

Agents of SHIELD Rewatch Season 1A (ep. 1-11)

Here's my commentary on my rewatch of Agents of SHIELD Season 1 Episodes 1-11. This may not be the best commentary since these are just the thoughts and opinions that come to my mind as I watch the episodes rather than a full-blown analysis, but I'm just having fun with it!

1x01 The Pilot

Something about Skye's voice being the first voice you hear. I don't know what about it, but I like it.

This is a Mike Peterson appreciation blog. He deserved to be in so many more episodes after season 1.

BABY SKYE!!

The only part that sucks about rewatching season 1 is that I know Ward is Hydra, so even when he's doing good, I know what his main motives are.

This is like my millionth time watching the pilot, and I just now realized that the line "if the job was easy, it wouldn't be any fun" that both Ward and Garrett say was introduced in this episode.

"It means someone really wanted our initials to spell out shield"

"You haven't been near his arms" *in regards to Thor*

"Welcome to Level 7" YESSS BITCH!!!!

Coulson's so wholesome and pure I love him so much!🥺

Thank you Agents of SHIELD for forever making me say "It's a magical place" whenever Tahiti is mentioned ever.

The fact that Ward's first thought when Coulson is talking about the Rising Tide is to cross them off. Finding all these red flags.

"Little poop with knives sticking out of it"

Okay, but why was Hill drawing a porcupine on Ward's evaluation?

The fact that Chloe Bennet was only 20 in the pilot (aka the same age as me rn).

I see a lot of people (mostly reactors on YouTube) say that they were annoyed with Skye at first (which I can understand), but for me, she just always had some sort of charm that made me fall in love with her.

"With great power comes... a ton of weird crap that you are not prepared to deal with." one of the most ICONIC Skye/Daisy lines.

Also, it's crazy to see how bubbly and innocent Skye was. So different from Season 7 Daisy.

The fact that you can so clearly see that Phil and Melinda had lots of history together from the first scene together.

"It's a really nice bus" I MISS THE BUS

Fitzsimmons was also so innocent back then. (If you've been following me for a while, you know my feelings on Fitzsimmons in the later seasons (more so on Fitz), so I'll try to keep my emotions on them to a minimum until the time where I can rant :) I'll just appreciate season 1 them for now.)

"Don't touch Lola"

Coulson really showed up to Skye's van completely ready to adopt her.

"What's your real name?" This line hits hard in the fact that she actually doesn't know what her real name is yet.

You can clearly see how excited Simmons was and how nervous Fitz was about their first field mission as soon as they step out of the car.

Skye came off as a little hot-headed, but she's actually so smart. Like she said, SHIELD had billions of dollars of equipment, and she was able to crack Centipede with her own skills.

I love that Fitz sings "Heigh-Ho" as he sends the dwarfs outs.

Skye has canonically cosplayed outside Stark Tower at least once.

"She can be an asset" Oh Phil, you have NO IDEA.

They say "what the hell" so much in this show. *see Agents of What the Hell on YouTube"

Coulson doesn't care about your protocol, Ward.

"GrAmSy"

From episode one, you can clearly see just how big Skye's heart is and how she really does care about people.

"When you get back, I'll show you my thing. Oh, it's not. It's my hardware. MY EQUIPMENT!"

You can also see in Skye's face where her morals lie as soon as Mike shows that he brought Ace along.

Mike taking Skye is just the first of many times Skye is kidnapped.

"Don't ever tell me there's no way." The fact that this has been so prevalent throughout the whole series.

Coulson's walk is so a dad coming to rescue his daughter you can't tell me otherwise.

THE WAY COULSON JUST CASUALLY LEANS BACK WHEN MIKE BREAKS THE VAN DOOR😂

The smile on my face the first time I watched May take out the guy that was gonna shoot Skye.

Mike's speech during this episode👌🏼

Fitz slapping Ward's back will never not be funny to me.

Howard Stark would be proud of Lola.

1x02 0-8-4

I wish we got to see the hula girl one last time in Season 7.

I don't know why May referring to Skye and Fitzsimmons as kids makes me so soft.

The SHIELD logo on the water is so funny to me.😂

Not gonna lie, Fitz's little crush on Skye during 1A was kinda cute. Never really shipped them though. Definitely don't in the later seasons.

1x02, May says to never call her the cavalry again. In 7x13, she finally reclaims the title for herself.

I don't know about y'all but May double-wielding guns is pretty hot.

"WhY aRe ThEy HeRe?"

Simmons, why would think that opening a window in literal gunfire would be a good idea?

May and Ward yelling at the Bus Kids like angry parents on a family road trip.

If I have to hear Ward say "I'm a SpEcIaLiSt" one more time...

One of the things I love about Elizabeth and Iain's acting is when they're working with the holo table. I'd look so stupid in that position.

Just wanna say that I absolutely LOVE Skye's clothing style in season 1.

Don't worry Skye. You'll know what it's like to get shot in 11 episodes. (I'm sorry).

"100 people with 1% of the percent of the solution, that'll get it done. Pieces solving a puzzle." This was the line the solidified Skye as my favorite character, and it still remains one of my favorite lines from her.

You're not slick, Camilla.

See, their first mistake is messing with the Melinda May. She's not gonna take that well.

So Fitz and Simmons know the story of the cavalry, but they didn't know it was May? You'd think her name would be tied to the title no matter what.

UGH, I hate this whole "nice Ward" thing. I can't stand it when he says nice things because he's basically lying.

"WhOt ThE hELl WaS tHaT?"

I love Coulson's trust in his team despite seeing them not get along at all at least an hour earlier.

May's tired of all their shit.

Thank god Skye was the only one who actually read the pamphlet.

I love how May still got it after not being in the field for about 6 years. I mean, I haven't taken a dance class in 2 years, and most of my flexibility is gone now and some skills I've already lost.

Coulson checking on Lola is a mood.

You think May lowkey wanted to be Skye's SO from the beginning? Cause when Ward asks if she was talking about him, she kinda has this face that says "Okay, fine, I'll let him have this one."

The team watching the rocket launch on the edge of the ramp door is the last time that they ever had any kind of happiness until the finale.

Also, love the Fury cameo.

1x03 The Asset

I find it funny that the truck driver is named Agent Mack. Also, the fact that they used that name for Mack in season 2.

Skye working out is the biggest mood.

That silhouette shot *chef's kiss*

The scene with the cowboy and the gold is so random. Like I know it's important to the plot, but I just think it's ridiculous.

Saying this ten episodes in advance... FUCK YOU IAN QUINN!🖕🏼

Another rant on how I wish the show delve more into Skye/Daisy's past in foster care. Like why exactly she dropped out of high school, if she aged out of the system or ran away, how her foster homes have affected her mind and thought process, etc.

I just love how the show actually shows how smart Skye actually is. Like she isn't the same kind of smart as Fitzsimmons, but she had her own way of doing things and she's a quick thinker and really clever.

I also love how Coulson already has her thought process pretty much figured out, and that's why he knows how Ward should be going about training her.

I get that Ward has been abused, but I hate how he uses it to justify all the bad things and murders he has committed. I guess you could say Garrett brainwashed him into thinking that way, but after 2x06, Ward moves far away from redemption, and his actions can't be blamed on his past anymore.

Skye in that pink dress. I am looking respectfully. 👀

Love that May and Jemma are impressed with Skye's undercover work.

"I wanna hire you before someone else snatches you up." TOO LATE BUDDY

This episode may not be one of "the best" of the series but the fact that they introduce Gravitonium and basically set up an entire plot point for season 5 is insane.

The first time watching this, I couldn't tell if she was betraying SHIELD or playing Quinn. Still fully believe she’s was playing him.

“Her… uh, boobs." Oh, Fitz.

Also, Ming deserves an award because she has the best reaction faces.

YOU DIDN'T NEED TO RUB IN THE FACT SHE DOESN'T HAVE A FAMILY, QUINN!

How many times does Skye have to get choked out in the show?

Oh Skye, don’t worry about the quakes. You’ll get used to it.😉

Again, hate how this episode and the one in s2 are the only times Skye actually talks about her past.

1x04 Eye Spy

You know, if I saw a group of people walking with red masks on, I would be running so far in the opposite direction.

“The solitude” me too May. Me too.

Okay, but I love Jemma and Skye’s hair in this episode.

Also, I love that Skye hides in the cars when she misses her van.

Funny how they’re so against telepathy and precognition. Like they’re so against it and for what? Like, of all the things that have been proven to be true in this universe, you choose to believe telepaths aren't real?

Wish we got Akela more in the show.

1x05 Girl in the Flower Dress

Were Chan Ho Yin’s powers ever explained? They briefly mention it but not really. Like was he an experiment or is he like an inhuman or something?

Also, would you trust a woman you just met that night when she says “close your eyes?”

I haven’t played Battleship in forever.

“Have you ever heard of Steve Rogers? No.” … yes.

Ward, you didn’t even try to blend in.

I’d like to take this time to say screw Myles.

I was so shocked when May was on the other side of the door when I watched the first time.

So how long was May there to begin with?

Simmons, was the button comment necessary? I know you’re trying to be friendly though.

Raina is probably one of the most compelling villains in the show

“Now you’re making fun of my VAN!” She loves that van.

I love whenever Ming gets to speak Chinese on the show.

Why’d they leave Myles alone with Fitzsimmons? They look so terrified😂

Ghost Rider tease (not really but you get it)😉

Hearing these words come from Coulson to Skye really hurts.

1x06 F.Z.Z.T.

Time for the first Fitzsimmons-centered episode.

“That’s something you say to an old person.”

Fitz’s comment about hearing Skye laugh again was so wholesome in s1. Why’d the show have to drive them apart?

Also, love the Ward impressions.

Skye poking the battery with a stick. That’s it.

Ward had absolutely NO RIGHT to be talking to Skye like that, like he was so hurt by her “betrayal”

THE cat™

These poor firefighters. They just wanted a souvenir from when they were first responders during New York.

“What are you looking for?” “A sCeNtEd CaNdLe!” “Not you.”

My favorite part of Coulson really is his humanity. The way he talked with the firefighter during his last moments is so heart-wrenching and beautiful. Telling him that it was beautiful on the other side.

I’d be scared if I was on the same plane as an object carrying an alien virus too.

Aw poor Jemma😕

Skye’s so worried about Jemma, she’s literally on the verge of tears. I love their friendship so much (save for s5/6).

Coulson really said screw Agent Blake.

All this talk about pandemics and vaccines in this episode really hitting close to home and I don’t like it.

It happens for a second, but we get the first sliver of Mama May and Skye when May softly pulls Skye away by her shoulder.

The special effects in this episode aren’t bad by any means, but it’s amazing to see how far they’ve come since then.

Coulson’s just a worried dad.

The Skimmons hug🥺

“Take off your shirt” OH KAY MAY. That line really threw me off the first time.

And there’s Fitz’s realization.

1x07 The Hub

The cold open for this episode is so random and I love it.

Also Agent Shaw.

"Everyone's wearing the same suit."

And we have Agent Victoria Hand and Jasper Sitwell.

Introduction of The Sandwich™

Also, the introduction of Bad Girl Shenanigans™

"VeRy VeRy ATtAcHeD."

You can truly see some of Jemma's Virgo-ness in this episode. (As a Virgo myself, I can say this is accurate. My birthday is actually the day after Jemma's/Elizabeth's).

The hallway scene is still so funny to me. Between Simmons' terrible flirting and Skye's "what?" face. It's great.

My lying skills are just about as good as Jemma's are in this episode. Depending on who I'm with/the situation, I either get really stuttery or I start laughing ridiculously.

Forever bitter that they cut that deleted scene of Jemma and May.

See, Skye knows when to pull away from her personal wants. She knows when the right time for it all is, and I don't think she got enough credit for that. You can't tell me, that if you were in Skye's position and the file on your past was right there, you wouldn't be curious. She did look away from it and looked at the mission when she realized she didn't have enough time. She still put the members of her team before herself.

I only think about the Charlie's Angels reference from the bloopers during this scene.

Not too much to say about this episode for me personally.

BUT I was fully convinced that before this episode, Skye was Coulson and May’s love child that they had to give up because of the job.

1x08 The Well

The first episode to connect with the movies. I personally feel like the show exceeded when it began to stray farther away from the movies.

Just a quick note: Thor: The Dark World is probably lower on my MCU movie list, but I don't think it was necessarily a bad movie. I actually did enjoy it quite a bit.

Skye simping over Thor is a mood, but May agreeing with her is just great.

"Doodads"

I want my own holo table.

That poor forest ranger. He's just so distraught. He just loves his forest.

Coulson and his puns.

It's so weird to hear someone refer to Ward as Grant. It's like when someone other than Coulson calls May Melinda.

I would very much like to punch Ward in the face. Yes, I know it's just the effect of the staff, but still.

People probably think of Asgardians when Coulson says he had one-on-one time with aliens. Even though, due to the time this episode came out, that's what the show was referencing, I like to think he's talking about the events of Captain Marvel.

YOU CANT TRUST HIM COULSON!

"Disco"

Not to be protective about Skye, but seeing her jump around Ward makes me very sad, and again, mad that the show basically chose to forget about her past and have other characters completely disregard it.

I could never stick my hand in someone's body, even if I could save them. I just don't have the guts or stomach to do that.

They made it seem like Thomas died in the well, so I was surprised when they showed him in season 3.

"Because I see it every day." UGHHHHHH the fact we know what happened in Bahrain, this hurts.😭

"Check out Portland. Great philharmonic" Just hurt me even more, show, why don't you.

I really did not like being reminded of MayWard. I also hate the fact that this wasn’t the first time they did this.

“Bringing along warm and fuzzy” Not gonna lie, but Skye does have a point, but at the same time, I do understand that Coulson just wants her to get an understanding of how it works.

I’m just curious as to why Tobias didn’t attack May after she shot Hannah with the ICER.

I really like Fitzsimmons in this episode ngl.

DAVIS D. DAVIS

It’s hilarious to me that Davis was a one-off, one-line character in s1 then became a full-fledged recurring character in s4-7.

Okay, but May on horseback, double-wielding guns would be a sight to see.

This episode is a prime example of how Skye always sees the best in people.

I didn’t really like Skye pressing May about her policies since it obviously cuts close to her past, but I do understand that Skye doesn’t necessarily know what May’s been through exactly.

“I think she needs to get laid” So does she know about May and Ward at this point? I don’t think so. BUT Ward freezing should have been a red flag.

Fitz is so oblivious in this episode, and I love it.

Love how Fitz is unscathed after they crashed the plane and he was in a closet, not tied down to anything.

“THANK GOD, WHERE HAVE YOU 🗑”

As someone who was raised Catholic (but not super-duper religious) and is now in a state of not knowing whether or not I still believe in God, Skye’s words in this scene really lift me up and give me hope.

Okay, but why was I low-key scared of this episode the first time I watched it? I think it was because it was late and dark at night when I was watching it😅

We get to hear a little about Bahrain, and I love it.

There’s no way around Melinda May.

“Hey, that’s our story”

I think May was truly ready to take Tobias out and put her own life on the line at this moment.

“Let the girl go” will always be a painful line.

There’s hardly any communication between May and Skye in the cockpit, but it’s still such a sweet scene.

They clearly did not watch Phineas and Ferb cause otherwise they’d know what an aglet is.

I think what I love most about this episode is the focus on both Skye and May, which leads to the cockpit scene, which basically is the start of their relationship, and they have one of the best platonic relationships in the whole show.

1x10 The Bridge

MIKE PETERSON!!!!!!!

Oh, we love the “he’s standing behind me” trope.

“Kidnap victim” Again, Skye, you have no idea.

I know they probably just chose a last name randomly, but what if Brian Hayward was related to Tyler Hayward from Wandavision? Just a theory.

Simmons really falls for a handful of people this season, doesn’t she? Mike. Trip. Fitz. I mean, I’d do the same with Mike and Trip.

Ugh, I love Coulson talking about Audrey, but the fact that Ward uses this information against him just infuriates me.

“Someone looking up to you” The fact that Skye never had that person to look up to as a kid🥺

I get that May is trying to protect Skye from the truth, but that was pretty harsh.

I JUST WANNA HUG SKYE!!!!

The fact that Coulson was talking about Skye when he says he’s seen what the effects can be when a parent is absent.

PROTECT ACE AT ALL COSTS

Not them threatening a child. I always hated this part.

Ace is such a happy kid ugh why do this to him😫

I often see people say that this episode is when the show got good, but in my eyes, the show was always good from the beginning. The first half of season 1 literally has some of my comfort episodes.

1x11 The Magical Place

The faith that the team has in Skye on her own is outstanding compared to the beginning of the season.

I love how confidently Skye stole a car in broad daylight.

I love how the Cage has those seats for most likely in case of a crash, but also for the purpose of opening the top in an interrogation.

Can we just like... not torture Coulson? I would really appreciate it, thanks.

Coulson's faith in SHIELD and the system is both outstanding and heartbreaking.

"Who doesn't like flowers?" I mean, sure, but like, WHY????

The sequence of Coulson's mind and what happened in "Tahiti" is a whole trip and a half. OMG, that part is so good.

I didn't realize the alien writing was in the flashback for a second. They set up so many season 2 things so early on in season 1.

In this episode, you can really see just how much Coulson means to Skye. This is probably when she realized what Coulson meant to her.

"Nice jacket." YEAH, IT IS.

I love this team <3 (except Ward. He can burn in hell.)

Rewatching F.Z.Z.T.

I always think of this episode as the “FitzSimmons Pilot” as it’s a bit of a template for all future FitzSimmons’ drama. There’s one of them in mortal peril by an “out of this world” menace - an alien virus here, then we’ll have space rocks and alien planets, demonically enhanced virtual realities, time travel...freaky, indeed - the sciencing under pressure as a backdrop to advance their personal relationship, a lot of (meaningful) bickering and even a separation of sorts, via quarantine.

But, controversial opinion, I don’t get any romantic vibe here, at all, even now that I know where they are headed. They’re symbiotically close but it comes across as a sister/brother relationship and Simmons feels almost maternal in their last scene, when she’s soothing and reassuring Fitz that he was, indeed, the hero.

One thing that I really appreciated, then and now, is that Jemma is simultaneously the one in danger and the one who saves the day, even though Fitz’s support is crucial for her to arrive at the solution and it would all have been for nought without Ward’s skydiving prowess.

By the end, everyone has risked their lives for everyone else: Jemma, choosing to jump to save the others, Fitz, breaking quarantine to help and almost jumping after Jemma, Ward, actually jumping, and Coulson, May and Skye simply by virtue of staying and trusting that Jemma would get it done. It’s only episode six but the bonds within the team have already gone far beyond the friendly co-workers stage. Or so it would seem. *dun-dun-dun*

This is also an episode in which Coulson’s compassion is on full display, first with the doomed firefighter - and what a chilling scene that is when you know that he’s making sense of false memories - and later when he once again defies protocols and trusts his team - specifically Simmons in this instance - to save the day. It may not be the most logical decision but it’s ultimately proven correct as Jemma rises to the challenge under incredible pressure and so do Fitz and Ward both. And honestly? Anyone who would call a dying person “cargo” does not deserve to be listened to, let alone obeyed.

Stuff that crossed my mind:

Fitz has forgiven The Miles Incident(tm) and is crushing awkwardly (for the last time) on Skye, who’s already too much of a shipper to even register it.

It’s not like I’m comparing Ward to Miles. Oh, girl...this a dead giveaway, you know that, right?

You and Simmons are so tight, it’s like you’re psychically linked. Just in case somebody at home wasn’t paying attention, Skye spells it out.

The psychic link is quickly demonstrated by their matching (and hilarious) impressions of Ward. That whole scene and the later reveal that Ward was playing along are incredibly bittersweet to watch with the knowledge of what’s to come.

Coulson goes to strawberry festivals but has never seen the Big Lebowski. I feel a disconnect there.

She lied to us. I would force-choke Ward through the screen if I could. How dare he be pissed at her.

May’s stone-cold expression while she's actually being nice to the kid, offering him cookies, will never not crack me up.

It’s science, Fitz, I have to dissect something! The good ole days when Fitz was a squeamish engineer shuddering at the sight of a scalpel.

Barns in the middle of rural Pennsylvania have super-duper fast Internet that hi-tech spy planes can’t match. I mean, I’m assuming, since Skye sets up shop there, with a desk and everything.

There's only one person on this plane capable of finding a solution for this, and I'm willing to bet my life that she will. Coulson choosing heart over pragmatism, again.

If you have infected cargo you need to dump it. God, is Big S.H.I.E.L.D. awful...

Fitz yelling at people in distress, namely Jemma here. I get why, but it’s not an endearing trait.

Then of course the brave, reckless and squeamish fool enters quarantine with an incurable alien virus and almost jumps after her himself despite having probably no clue on how to do it. This part is definitely endearing.

This is the first time Jemma circumvents orders and with a big serving of self-sacrifice to go with it. And of course she finds the cure to an alien illness in a matter of hours. Dr. Simmons, PhD in awesomeness (which is easy to pronounce, Coulson!).

Despite the self-serving motivation Ward will attribute to it later in the season, he does risk his life in quite the spectacular fashion to save Jemma and it wasn’t strictly necessary for his mission. He cares for these people. Just not enough, I suppose.

The very first Skimmons Hug(tm). Simmons is very English for a second there then surrenders to her touchy-feely American friend who would still be queen of epic hugging if Mack hadn’t come around.

The point of these things is to remind us that there is no going back. There's only moving forward. Another scene that plays quite differently on rewatch. There’s no doubting May’s desire to help her best friend but she is also doing her job, and her job requires that Coulson doesn’t find out the truth.

And, you know, maybe I couldn't have done The whole "James Bond in Midair" type of thing. Fitz, shut up [...] You’re the hero. Jemma tries to soothe Fitz’s insecurities but it doesn’t quite work, as the resentment over Ward’s jamesbonding will resurface next episode.

You keep pulling stunts like that, someone might decide to take this little dream team away from you. -- I'd like to see them try. --That doesn't sound like the Phil Coulson I used to know. -- No, I suppose it doesn't. Get used to it. Ignoring protocols, hiding valuable tech, adopting wayward hackers...his first name isn’t Agent anymore, Felix.

Decided to write a Philinda fic set in Season 1 dealing with the frustration Coulson is going through between Episode 6 and 7, everything between his death and “recovery” his changes in personality and Skye, (don’t worry there’s smut cause I’m the one writing it) but I rewatched the ending of Episode 6 and want to cry!!!

He’s so uncomfortable while May is talking to him my poor baby! The way his left hand twitches. His body is so stiff like he doesn’t want to be there let alone have that conversation. The little panic that flashes through his eyes when May asks him to take off his shirt.

I’ll never get over that scene 😭

the very first scene of 1x06 involved camping kids telling each other scary stories… seems fitting since 1x06 aired Nov. 5, ‘13 -- a little past Halloween!

FITZSIMMONS ARGUING!!!!! And the source of many Academy fics with the cat and the lab and Fitz’s aversion to anything that involves dissections lol

Coulson and Ward discussing how to open the barn door — and then May just kicks it like NBD. LMFAO

Fitz mentioning that metals were around the body of the 2nd victim — like an electromagnetic field was present — AND I JUST NOTICED THIS BIT NOW!!! Like I knew from rewatching the ep numerous times that certain metallic things float around the victim before he/she releases that electric pulse, but it’s just now that I learned that Fitz already had an observation about it THAT early on the ep. omg

Coulson reassuring the 3rd victim and just talking him through what will happen to him. It just goes to show how compassionate and how Coulson values every single life.

You can see the tiiiiiiniest bit of weariness to Jemma’s makeup/appearance when Coulson was talking to her after Fitz screened Coulson/May/Ward. She already looks a bit sick but not deathly sick. Kudos to AoS’ makeup team!

Ward and Skye’s moment. Up until this point IDK whether that concern, that tender moment he shared with Skye was just for show. If I had no idea about what this show was about and I started to watch this ep, I would assume he really was that concerned with them. 😑

THE SCENE that probably started the army of SS FitzSimmons. While it is debatable whether this was Fitz’s a-ha! moment, or the moment when he realized that he IS in love with Simmons, I think this was THE MOMENT when he realised that he couldn’t live without her, or AT LEAST cannot fathom the thought of her not around. His “you’ve been beside me the whole damn time” was ICONIC for that very reason.

... ALSO the progression of Jemma’s makeup omg

the FitzSimmonsing moment here was FREAKING GOLD too. They really do share the same mind!

... ALSO Fitz was already crying throughout that whole exchange hOLY SHITBALLS

He didn’t even hesitate to break quarantine and enter the lab WITH the Chitauri helmet. That’s AMAZING FRIENDSHIP right there, Y’ALL. (Also LOVE, but don’t tell Fitz, LOL)

“We’re gonna fix this. TOGETHER.” YOU’RE NOT CRYING, I’M CRYING.

AND the “FZZT” score on the background while FS were creating the antiserum WILL NEVER NOT BE ICONIC!!!!

Jemma looking deathly sick and saying how to inform the news to her parents TO Coulson!!! This was the moment when we realized how Elizabeth Henstridge can KILL US with her amazing acting. TRULY.

Coulson STILL trusting his team/Jemma to the very end even if he knows the repercussions of him letting infected Jemma in the plane. WE STAN A GREAT LEADER.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but THIS IS THE FIRST EP WE’VE HEARD FITZ CALLING SIMMONS JEMMA. LKSDJSALJDALJSDSA

Let’s not forget Iain in his AMAZING ACTING in this ep too!!! IAIN + LIZ = FREAKING ACTING POWERHOUSES! The “comedic” duo of the show on S1 throwing all the EMOTIONAL STUFF right in this ep. AMAZING.

Fitz clearly frustrated with himself ‘coz it wasn’t him who jumped, and Jemma quick to reassure him. Because she’s right, Fitz. It wasn’t Ward who brought her hope when all was lost. And I know there is a meta of Fitz and all his heroic acts but it all boils down to — basically all of his heroic acts have one motivation and one motivation only — and it wasn’t to be a hero. It’s about a woman. ❤️

And Fitz’s reaction to the cheek kiss? PRICELESS.
