any billy hcs?

OKAY I'm finly tackling this. lightning round.

I know that the general fandom perception of billy (in a few different circles anyway) is that he's trans, and I DO understand this. however it's not my personal headcanon. if you want to know why it's simply because the idea of him being a chaser is like insanely funny to me so. stu is trans and billy is weird about it. this is my dynamic.

as for sexuality, I've described this to people before, but to me he's bisexual on a technicality. what's that technicality? he REALLY thinks he likes women. like he's convinced himself he does. (he does not.) so like, if anything, he'd consider himself bisexual and so I call him bisexual. but. he's gay. dykwim.

anyway yes billy is a bi chaser and he is down horrible for stu though he can't really show it. I don't know if I even brought this up in my stu headcanons post but I do think they are BOTH autistic and bpd so they're really failmaxxing as a romantic duo

billyboy loomis is the undisputed mommy issues king, I think him and his mom were very close when he was a kid, like almost to the point where she was smothering him, but he loved her and became codependent with her. I think that's a theme for billy - codependency. he grew to be that way with his mom, and since I personally believe that him and stu have been friends since childhood, he also grew a little fascination with him at around the same time. he's always been Weird about stu in a myriad of ways, but the moment his mom abandoned him it was almost guaranteed that his closeness with him would turn into its own codependency. and it did.

I think his family has moved around a lot, only settling in woodsboro when he was maybe eleven or so. that's when he met stu.

I think they were both independently weird freaks of their own nature, as in, billy has always had his horror movie and psychology fascinations, but stu really amped up the crazy for him. like many people, I hc that stu is a big hunter and likely showed billy how to hunt and gut animals, and I even think he introduced him to the more gorey, less plot-centric horror movies that he loves. I also think the buck that they share was stu's initially, who then gave it to billy sometime after his mom left.

as for current day (read: 1996) stuff. a lot of people tend to stereotype stu as The horny one in their dynamic, but idk. they're both teenage boys and if anything, billy was the one trying the hardest to get laid in the movie lmfao. (I know there was an actual reason behind it but I do also think he just wanted to fuck lol) I think they're both raging horndogs and they rile each other up all the time.

we never see anyone but randy with an actual job, but I think billy's done some under the table type work around town. he strikes me as a guy who'd do good at a mechanic shop, or something. nothing too serious, just whenever he needed some pocket change he couldn't swipe from his dad.

as for horror movies... oh man.

billy is a real pretentious guy. he likes horror, he likes thrillers, but he's not as much of a gorehound as stu. that's not to say he doesn't like it - but it usually only interests him when it's the real deal. in terms of movies, he's actually your pretty generic film bro type, in that I think his top three are psycho, silence of the lambs, and the original house of wax. were he alive today, he'd be BIG into the 'elevated horror' genre, I think. think jordan peele and ari aster. overall he's a real snob about it, he can only get into a horror movie if the killer is someone he can idolize and get into the mind of. he's not a fan of monster movies, thinks it's scarier when the monster is just a regular guy. psychological horror is right up his alley, and I think he'd also love candyman for the way it combines artful and intriguing psychology into a more typically 'slasher' narrative.

I could talk about how billy watches horror movies forever but I'll move onto music so this post doesn't become a novel. I think he's big into rock, pretty similar to stu's taste in that regard. I think he'd really love green day, for sure. I also think he'd like the cure and REM, maybe soundgarden, too. he's really into anything moody or brooding in some way. besides rock though, I also think he enjoys older, more classical stuff. I could see him buying a film score cd and listening to it to sleep, or something.

SO. YEAH those are some of my billy hcs.. like I said w stu I have like a million thoughts about both of them that I couldn't possibly include in a single post so if you have any specific questions about stuff I didn't cover .. lmk ^_^

I felt like I was never going to finish this. But I did! I got addicted to the song "Everybody Likes You" by Lemon Demon again and found myself associating the song with Bex. So what do I do when I associate a song with an OC? I draw some art based off of it obviously. Bex just can't catch a break, can she? Anyways, I still don't really know why I associate a song as sporadic and crazy as this one with Bex. Most of my reasons for when I associate songs with OCs is just "probably something they'd listen to/sing". But in this case I genuinely don't know why I think it's a "Bex song". I guess what the art here suggests is that, uh, it's relating to her trying to calm down when she is struggling to stay calm.... yeah. I've also been on a bit of an MLP high at the moment and I'm pretty sure stuff like Pinkie Pie in the episode Party of One and Twilight in Lesson Zero also indirectly inspired this. Honestly the more early 2010s and before stuff that I find that inspired TMM the more I realised this show should've just been made in the 2010s full stop HAH. I also think I'm possibly fuelling some unknown TMM creepypasta fire once I post this. I can almost see the "TMM CREEPYPASTA WHERE BEX GOES INSANE AND PULLS AN MLP CUPCAKES OOOOOOOOH SCARY OOOOOOH ISN'T THIS SCARY THAT A PLUSHIE CAT IS GOING STABBY STAB OOOOOOH-" Would be pretty funny tho not gonna lie and would add to the whole "TMM being a show from the 2010s" feel LOL. Also thanks to one of my friends that helped me out with suggesting ideas on this. This drawing actually underwent a redraw during the process cuz I didn't like how it turned out the first time so shoutout to them.

I definitely should've put two and two together that the person posting art of Brian as Gabrielle and the person writing wild crash-f&f crossovers was one and the same lol. Although, as I've come to learn through your awesome recommendation that led me down a bit of a podfic rabbit hole, there are some bonkers, fantastical fics for f&f with super out there concepts but are really really well realized, which was pleasant to discover. I'm gonna keep blabbing under the read-more, because I'm so happy to have found you on tumblr, but I'll end off by saying I can't believe you posted to ao3 twice in July and I didn't know, I'm literally about to feast rn.

For anyone curious about what we're taking about, here you go!

I should take this time to say crash blew my mind, you were so right about the final scene being extremely similar to the end of the first f&f, to the point where my friend and I's reactions when we did that double feature were pretty much identical, it was so funny! We watched Crash first, and there was something about seeing that Miata finally get knocked off the highway, that was soooooooo... Like, I may be reading too much into this and I definitely don't understand the movie entirely yet, but MX-5 Miatas are one of the most personified cars out there because of their eye-like headlights and mouth-like vents, they literally look like 😃 it's so cute. Miatas are almost always portrayed as innocent, Friendly, and childlike, so to see the destruction of one (which the movie was def building up to), AND TO WATCH JAMES FUCK CATHERINE IN WRECKAGE , like it's such a good image to end on… it really drives home the irreparable effect being introduced to Vaughn's "world" had on them, like they basically went through the a fucked up version of the hero's journey and were left on the other side of the threshold not knowing how to cope, my jaw was on the floor!!! The unattainable fantasy of ultimate orgasm because of the resiliency of both cars AND human bodies, it was so good. "Maybe the next one, maybe the next one," still gives me shivers.

So watching F&F afterward was hilarious because my friend basically had the same reaction to its ending, that truck impact hit her real hard (she too wanted them to ugly fuck on the busted charger lol). I had told her that this was essentially the most blood we would ever see in the rest of the franchise which is not a lot, and we ended up having a whole conversation about comparing the fantasy set in place by both movies. The fantasy of F&F is essentially 1) the characters' inability to die/stay dead or get injured and 2) the seemingly omnipotent ability of cars to take down larger and larger vehicles, starting with 18-wheelers and progressing to yachts, trains, Humvees, planes, it's endless!! Whereas the fantasy in the world of Crash IS to die, to be scarred, marred, for every dent and scratch on your car to be mirrored on your skin until you're one and the same. It's the next evolution of man, to be melded with machine in a way that's gorey and sexual. Both works involve little family institutions, people who get it, people who have your back, and a fearless leader running the show. Where Dom Toretto literally can't die, or even lose, because it's in vin diesel's contract, Vaughn was fated to! What kind of example would he be setting for the others if he couldn't achieve the nirvana of dying on the toronto freeway.

Ugh I totally did not mean to give you an entire book report but I've been sitting on all of this for so long and I figured you of all people would understand being immensely effected by these two movies being put together lol. Anyway thanks for reaching out! I'm around if you ever wanna talk f&f, I loveeeeee the way you view that universe. Much luvvvv 🫶🫶

It's kind of a no brainer that L would love your baking.

I mean he's almost always eating sweets anyways.

Literally anything you make for him will be gone in a day.

He especially likes your cakes.

They don't have to be fancy at all, but if you're willing to go out of your way to make a beautiful cake for him, he'll gladly eat it.

He's not much help in the kitchen though...

But if you're patient enough and are willing to teach him, he'll help you bake stuff.

Mello

Mello appreciates your baking skills..

Especially if you do things with chocolate.

He's willing to help you bake and he will grow to enjoy it a lot.

But be prepared.

He will start eating any chocolate you bring out.

He'll stop if you give him a spatula to lick.

Near

Near isn't really all that into sweets, but he's supportive nonetheless.

He will eat the stuff you bake.

Matt is more of an eater than a baker..

Wash Day

Yall I just really want Trisskel to be a solid couple from like, day one and be happy and in love and hhhnnngggg. I have feelings. (specifically Netflix Triss and Game Eskel)

Summary: Modern AU Eskel helps Triss with wash day when she cant use her arms.

Warnings: Mentions of burn injuries and burns in healing process, nothing gorey, just the mention of scabs, temporary dependency, dealing with the shitty mental part of recovering from major injuries/surgeries - not fucking bathing, eskel is not flexible and tries so hard to do things right. bless, lol swearing as is usual

I’d like to put a little disclaimer that I did a bunch of natural hair care research for this but I have no experience save from helping my friend diffuse her hair before class.

Triss groaned and tossed her phone to the other end of the couch she was perched on, wiping her one good hand over her face. Her burns over her chest still weren’t allowing her much range of motion with her right arm and her hair was starting to drive her absolutely insane. Yennefer was going to come over and help with wash day, but Ciri got in a fight at school, leaving Triss to sit with an itchy, ratted, and, frankly, horrendous head of hair.

She leaned her head back against the arm of the couch and sighed, not even able to adjust the bun Eskel had helped her with that morning.

Speaking of…

She scooted over the couch to pick up her phone, tapping the little call icon under his nickname, “Hey, Yen can’t come over tonight. No need to pick up the wine,” she sighed.

“Are you sure? Nothing wrong with a little treat, babe.”

“I’m sure. It was more for her efforts than my treat anyway.”

“If you say so… How are you feeling?”

“Less shit than this morning. I’m just tired,” she didn’t add the feeling of hopelessness that went along with not even being able to bathe on her own. He worried enough for the both of them and then some.

“I’m picking up the good wine. I’ve got one more client then I’m done. Maybe take a nap?”

“Skel…”

“I will spoil you if I want to. Oh! Look! There’s my 3:30! Bye Bug! Love you!” he hung up on her before she could protest.

She rolled her eyes as she lowered the phone into her lap, smiling a little despite her annoyance.

Gingerly, she made her way to their bedroom and laid down, running the risk of taking out the bun to lay comfortably. She turned on a podcast she told Jask she’d listen to and hoped to zone out at the least, if not actually sleep.

Triss was woken by Eskel stomping in their front door and dropping his gym bag with a dramatic thud. A few moments later she could hear grocery bags settling on the kitchen counter, the distinct sound of wine bottles bumping together reminding her what he probably had planned.

She ever so slowly tipped over and pushed herself up with her left hand, catching a horrifying full-body reflection in the mirrored closet doors.

The scabs and little spots that were still bandaged she was starting to get used to, but the rest of her? Looking at herself in sweats that hadn’t been changed in two days, a summer tank top with no bra and coffee stains, and mismatching fuzzy christmas socks was… difficult. Her hair was wild, all the curls stretched out and sticking together in big frizzy clumps that stuck out at odd angles.

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. It had only been four weeks. No one was going to be back to normal after four weeks. Her body was using all its energy to heal, not look put together.

Regardless of her efforts she felt the tears well up in her eyes and her breath hitch with the effort of holding them back.

It still fucking sucked.

Eskel’s soft touch on her thigh made her jump, “Is it hurting again?”

She shook her head, opening her eyes to see him knelt in front of her with his eyebrows drawn up in worry, “No. I’m okay,” she whispered, pulling herself together and resting her hand over his.

Eskel tilted his head, “Then what’s wrong?”

“I… I look like I fell down the garbage chute,” she laughed. It wasn’t her usual, musical laugh, though. She laughed because she knew, in the grand scheme of things, it was ridiculous. It felt stupid to be worried about how she looked when she’d lived and, well, laughing was better than more tears.

“You’re always lovely to me,” Eskel hummed, brushing her tears away with the back of his knuckles.

She leaned into his touch and took a steadying breath, “I just don’t feel like me.”

He stretched up to kiss her forehead, “I’m sorry, Bug.”

She just shrugged and squeezed his hand.

“Yen called. I got a very long lecture on wash day and firm orders to help you wash and deep condition your hair. If you’re feeling up to it,” Eskel flashed that crooked grin she could never resist and she shrugged, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips.

“Are you prepared to follow instructions?” she teased.

“Babe,” he raised one eyebrow, “the only instructions I don’t follow are on Top Ramen packs.”

Eskel seemed to have confused ‘instruction’ with ‘directions’.

“I swear to God, Eskel. You don’t have to read the ‘how to use’ blurb,” Triss groaned, sitting on a kitchen chair they’d moved into the bathroom with dripping wet hair, “Just section off my hair and do what I tell you.”

“But I don’t want to use too much,” he protested, “This says to use one tablespoon!”

“Yeah! For natural blondes! I have completely different hair and know what I’m doing. Use half the bottle! I don’t care! Just get it fucking clean!”

Eskel rested his hand on her good shoulder and gave her an apologetic look in the mirror, “I’m sorry. How many sections do you want?”

“I- it’s not a number. You just- kneel down for me I’ll show you,” she pointed at the floor next to her and sighed, missing Yen more than ever. She drew little lines with her nails through Eskel’s hair as she explained just how to scrub while making the least amount of tangles possible. He watched her in the mirror and pointed to the points on her scalp she was talking about with a look of serious concentration.

It was cute. Even if he was a little inflexible he really did want to do a good job.

Conditioner was easier, even combing out the tangles went fairly smooth. They took a break and made dinner, breaking open the good wine.

Just having her hair down and somewhat bouncy again made Triss feel a million times better. The sweats were exchanged for yoga pants and the tank top for one of Eskel’s sweaters too. It almost felt normal.

They ate ice cream while he worked the deep conditioning mask through her hair.

“You sure I’m not using too much?” he asked, leaning over her shoulder to take the bite she held up for him, nice and small so he didn’t get a brain freeze.

“Fbe moreb fbe bedder,” she tried speaking around a giant bite of ice cream, giggling at the face of confusion he made with the spoon still sticking out of his mouth.

She swallowed and scrunched her nose at the light brain freeze, “The more, the better. We’ll rinse it out in the morning and I don’t want any dry spots.”

She walked him through a couple rough twists and adjusting the plastic soaking cap before attempting to explain how to tie a headscarf. He was… truly awful. Somehow she ended up almost blindfolded before she just gave up and found him a video to follow. It took him a few tries, but eventually he got it the right level of snug. I

She tried to tilt her head back to look at him but that pulled at some of her new scar tissue, so she tried another angle and another before she huffed and resorted to standing up to look at him, “Thank you Skel.”

“No problem, Bug,” he hummed, wrapping his arms around her waist and kissing her nose.

Triss laid her head on his chest, the perfect height for him to rest his chin on top of her head, “No, I mean it. It… helps. A lot.”

He rubbed soothing circles over her back, swaying them slightly, “I’m just glad I could do something…” he took a breath like he wanted to say something more but settled for pressing a kiss to the sloppily tied scarf. She hummed and leaned into him, snaking her hands around his hips and up under his shirt to rest over his back dimples.

Triss could have stayed there forever.

Mumbles about BNHA S4E25

Of flower, family, fire and the great Hawks.

Basically me screeching every 5 sec or so and taking way too many screenshots.

First of all, I was glad I was right in my rant about last episode: Bones definitely used most of their budget in this episode. The fighting scene has amazing sakuga and delivered the emotional punch.(ha!) The soundtrack was on point, especially the triumph fist after silence.

So first here we have the Cold family. I really like Natsu's voice here. It's a good boy's voice.

I'm bit upset they didn't give the little sparkle like the manga. Less comedy more emotion I guess.

A little something about the flower: (I'm surprised it's such a strong color? I always imagined it as baby blue of sorts.)

I've seem people in the fandom being pissed about this part saying Hori is trying to make Rei forgive Enji by speaking of the flower therefore in a way, supporting his abusive behavior.I don't really see that.Natsuo was stating how Enji pretty much just swiped all his problem under the rug and Rei by mentioning the flower, is not denying Enji's abusive behavior, but simply that he is aware of them, he remembers, and he certainly did not forget about them. That's all.Anyway there's that out of my chest.

Somehow I got the feeling someone would be killed or seriously injured by Enji's booty in this scene lol.

A pretty and smart bird boi. Also I think Bones secretly really likes Hawks' eyes.

Yes Bones definitely has a thing for Hawks' predatory eyes confirmed. Who wouldn't ;)

He's beauty.He's grace.He's rollin' in the deep.No but I really love this scene. Just look at this nimble chicken roll.

Again Bones proved their love to Hawks. I especially love the last one, very shojo much love.

Somehow I missed that Rei had short hair when reading manga, probably because of the scraf. This panel was the one that gave me the theory that Rei and Enji weren't always on hostile terms. The marriage might be arranged but I got they feeling they at least respect and like each other to a degree. Anyway that's another theory for anther day.

The next screenshots contain blood/gore/violence so I'm putting the rest under cut.

This scene somehow got more gorey and violent than manga. Could be the because we are actually seeing blood instead of a mist of black ink.

And this panel is the exact opposite from the last. I remembered actually feeling despair and anxious and fear when reading the manga as the image was really strong in B&W, while the bright color in anime made it less intense. I'm not saying the art is bad but it's just very interesting to see the difference between the mediums in these two scenes.

The first character card of Hawks. I still can't believe Hawks is 172cm. He just looks so tiny that I always picture him around 165cm or so.

I understand the bird-like aesthetic but goddamn Hawks your jacket and pants are BAGGY. Like his legs literally looks like fried chicken legs there (the color palette didn't help either lol)

Can't-ya-see-kun. Is it me or the his accent sounds adorble? Lots of "ya"-ending sound in there, kinda sounds like my hometown dialect in a way.

I was wondering why they changed the big AND small Hawks in manga into just smol Hawks there, but then it made sense. Oh boi them baby chicken cheeks I wanna squish them so bad *grabby hands

YES the Endeavor-Hawks fusion phoenix. Oooh boy what a magnificent sight!

And this is the eact moment I start to like with Endeavor as a character. Before he had always been a boring big-bad-evil-dad anime trope character. His conversation with All Might during the exam had piqued my interest about his possible character development, making him a interesting character but not a likeable one yet. I could write an academic paper on how I feel about Endeavor but but this scene changed Endeavor into Enji in my mind.

I can't screenshot the music here so I captured the image instead. But this scene with the perfect soundtrack really made my eyes wet and I hadn't cried for any anime since FMA ended.

I'm really upset the manga detail where Aizawa is wearing mismatching slippers didn't made it so this is a minus for me.

Weird choice of shot. I know it's pretty much just Izuku summing up the whole thing but this line with specifically with Bakugo in shot almost feels like Bakugo will inherit Endeavor's position/legacy/whatever. Fitting tho.

The bonus scene. Just wanted to say One-For-All's voice sounds much younger than I thought, very soothing and gentle, almost like a teenager in a way and I found it really fitting.

Overall I'm pretty satisfied about the quality of the episode. 9/10 if you ask me. Could use a bit improvement (Aizawa's slipper, how dare you Bones!) but overall reached its expected potential. I have a lot I want to say about the Todoroki family situation and of Endeavor and Hawks in general but probably in another post when I can.

About Me

In the spirit of the fact that I’ve gained several followers in the last 24 hours, and due to the fact that I have no About Me page (and even if I did, a lot of people use the app, in which you can’t use pages)... I am making an official About Me post... or thread, depending on how this goes.

First of all, I do have an About Me tag, since there a lot of RANDOM-ASS information about me that you can find in that tag. You can also look at my Bipolar/Mental Illness tags to find out more about me than you really need to know lol.

Anyway, onto the About Me post!

I am female (she/her) and 28 years old.

I am married to a man, though yes, I identify as bi, although I am pretty sure I might be more like poly or pan. Or possibly demi.

I am afraid of A LOT of things, and one of the strangest fears I have, I projected on my character, Ikuisuus, who is a reaper that is afraid of corn mazes. She gains this fear in the Halloween chapter of Death Has a Face Novel.

I usually stay up til around 3-7am every morning, though I’m going to have to stop doing that, as I start a new job on the 1st of June

I am an animal-LOVER. I love every animal... except star-nosed moles (they creep the hell out of me) and guinea pigs (I’ve only had bad experiences with them, when every other animal freaking loves me).

My biggest passions are astrology/numerology, writing, singing and photography (and of course animals)

I’m known for my love of two things: chinchillas and tomatoes. EVERYONE that knows me knows I’m obsessed with those.

I’m addicted to coca-cola. I used to think I hated it, then one day I just was like “fuck it, I’ll try it again” and since then, I’ve been drinking 1-3 cans a day (almost literally every day).

I am allergic to Ibuprofen and trust me I HATE IT. I found out about it the hard way.

I almost drowned as a child.

I am mixed and an LGBTQ+ POC. And I’m proud of both aspects of myself, so if you have a problem with it, there’s the door.

I’m a fast typer because I type what’s going through my mind as it’s going through my mind and I’ve basically been addicted to writing/typing stories since like 2010, so I’ve had... lots of experience.

I’m really good friends with a girl named Val... you’ll be hearing a LOT about her... she’s my writing/roleplay buddy.

question: is there anything in TRSNS that you wish you could’ve added or elaborated on but had to cut out? it probably goes without saying, but if this is the case i’d kind of love to hear about it

Hoo boy, okay, here we go. Short answer, yes. Long answer…ahem. Below the cut. I apologize in advance.

So, as you all know, I had not seen the original redstoner series when I began this fic. Pablo Punchwood was a later addition, as was the phenomenon scene, the mirror scene, and the nightmares. I wrote the whole thing in chunks, like it is now, but there was a lot of rearranging that happened. I started by writing Grian going through the portal to find Mumbo. There was a time when Pablo happened when Mumbo blacked out after helping Grian. But that’s besides the point.

The healing process is different for everyone, and I think the overall arc I created is fully fleshed out and developed. HOWEVER. There are certainly a lot of little things that I’ve considered adding, including some things from some of the asks on this blog(blue shirt anon, the death message thing). Also, I had only ever seen Mumbo’s, Grian’s and a few of Iskall’s episodes when I wrote this and that is why the proverbial camera sticks so closely to those three. I have since then tried to write in more hermits but I can’t do it smoothly enough. I also wanted to write a version where Mumbo kills almost all the hermits and almost all of them come back maimed. It started out well enough, but I still just didn’t know enough to pull it all together.

I also think it could be beneficial to explore Mumbo’s suicidal ideations and self hatred more and expand on his inner dialogue. I think that as it is currently it works as a full component of the fic but it would have been interesting to see more of that. I also think Iskall and Grian could do with a little more metaphorical screen time.

It’s hard to write Minecraft fanfic because there’s so many game dynamics that you can adopt or change or explain or leave out all together. This fic is fairly low on Minecraft game dynamics, but it would be interesting to do more with that, either through the death notifications like the one ask said or by just adding more Minecraft-y things in general. However, I do have a version that I’m working on that will be completely separate from Minecraft and Hermitcraft because I want something I can send to people who don’t know what the hell I’m talking about. It stands alone as a short story because it’s about healing and character development that can be wholly separated from Minecraft.

This fic would have been so much different had I actually known what redstoner really was. It probably would have been simultaneously darker and more humorous and also probably a lot shorter. I honestly don’t think I would have enjoyed writing it as much, and I don’t think it would have gotten so much feedback if I had. Still, there are some things in house_owner’s series that I would have liked to explore. The actual effect of the red sun, the fact that he made the red sun, command blocks, etc. etc.

On the Discord server, I’ve written so many AU versions of TRSNS. I think the current count is somewhere near 8, all different lengths and all different focuses. The original will always, always be my favorite, but it’s been fun to explore what else could have been. Some of these are just changes in secondary themes such as the incredibly gorey Tear Me Apart, or are set in other Hermitcraft AUs like the overexposed AU.

Something else I might want to actually write later(still deciding whether I’d actually add it) would be something my literal, actual father asked me about. So, he’s religious, and basically what he said is that there’s three steps to forgiveness. Apologizing(making up with yourself), forgiveness(from the other person), and atonement(making up with God/the world). The way he described it in this context would be as soon as Mumbo is sufficiently unboxed, he’d offer himself as Grian’s wings/arms and Iskall’s voice. That way he’s putting in the energy to make up for what he did by taking it away, even though it wasn’t necessarily his fault. I sort of wrote it in a crossover fic I did(long story) but it’d be an interesting conclusion to the whole mess.

Speaking of that particular crossover, it’s very Pablo-centric. And that’s another thing I’d like to clear up or even just conclude. I can’t remember if I wrote the final letter in to the Ao3 version of TRSNS, but basically I have a couple paragraphs where Pablo makes it home and leaves a letter to Mumbo under a rock. I didn’t really expect everyone to love Pablo as much as they do(a lot of people have adopted him as a dad, similar to Joe), and some even asked me if Pablo came back. That’s just me pandering to the masses, though, even though I think that ending with that letter is a good choice.

ALSO, if y’all haven’t guessed/read, this is a huge projection fic. It’s a lot of my own healing experiences and personal relationships. It isn’t based on anything specific(well, the red sun is), but it’s an extremely personal and emotional fic. That’s why it’s so good and why it’s gotten this sort of reaction is because I’m writing about what I know and I’m writing with confidence. If it was just a Mumbo killing people fic, it wouldn’t be a quarter as interesting or good as it is now. But that’s besides the point. I think if I had to rewrite the whole thing over again, besides adding in the other hermits, I’d add more about Mumbo and the red sun. How they talk to each other. How Mumbo feels pulled back but revolted at the fact that he feels it. Sort of an emotionally manipulative red sun(totally not a projection :) ). Someone in the server brought up a similar idea and I had to yeet myself out of the chat because it was hitting way too close to home, but I think that exploring that sort of thing in this space where I’m comfortable and confident could be beneficial to me.

ANYWAY, oversharing time’s over. Rereading the actual original ask this stemmed from, I didn’t actually cut out that much from the original fic, and the length shows it. It was more changing and rearranging things. I don’t think there’s any scenes or anything that were in the original that I had to cut out entirely. There was some things that I wrote after finishing it and just never added, but I don’t think that counts.

So, yeah! If y’all have any other specific questions about this, feel free to shoot ‘em my way. I’m going to be posting a ‘How TRSNS Came to Be’ post eventually because I wanted to write out a brief synopsis of my rise to STARDOM(lol) and this is my blog where I can put random stuff like that. The Bodysnatchers!

This time on Eileen reads the EDAs we’ve got a thrilling and gorey adventure with Eight and Sam and some Zygons, brought to me by my laptop’s text to speech function cause I’m too distracted to focus on actual reading lol

I liked this book! It was a bit slow at first and it took me longer to really love the book than it did with Vampire Science, but the Victorian setting and some really brilliant lines won me over in the end haha! And we had Litefoot in this! And the Zygons (and some nice ones as well, what??), which for some reason I didn’t recognise on the cover, but I still got spoiled by myself because of my brilliant idea to use text to speech.

I was rooting for something to happen between Sam and Emmeline, but alas. There are some parts that I will interpret that way though, even though they were definitely not intended that way lol.

Still no naked Eight, so that’s a big minus.

I’m going to write down my reactions to all the EDAs in this series of reviews, and here are some of the highlights and my favourite quotes:

(and he ‘expertly folded each item of clothing’ as if he had all the time in the world agxjagsgsg)

im going 2 rewrite my two quirk ideas so i have them down somewhere. ive talked about them b4 a lot in the past so if you have been following me 4 a while u might remember these???? anyways the two quirk ideas are internal rapturing and purpose manipulation. putting it under read more bc shes a long one lol

I was thinking internal rapturing could be a villian quirk? since its a pretty gorey one and i doubt UA would allow students with partularily deadly quirks to join since well, people could die. Plus the enterance exams wouldnt even allow someone with that type of quirk to even pass, or even if they do pass because of pure strength, they will never get the chance to show off their quirk since its so deadly and gorey.

Anyways, internal rupturing is exactly what it sounds like???? its kind of like shigaraki quirk in that you cannot turn it off, and there isnt a way to reverse it once its been put to use. basically, if you have this quirk, anything you touch (Assuming its a living thing with like flesh and bones nd stuff) (it doesnt work on nonliving things or plants) will like basically melt. BUT like, only on the inside. so like if your fighting this dude nd they touch u, almost instantly ur insides turn to mush and you die and all thats left is a pile of skin and hair with melted human goo everywhere. its so gross. i love it. its literally disgusting. despite the fact you cant turn it off or reverse it, you can focus it to a certain part of someones body. so like if you get touched by the quirkholder of this quirk, you are not always going to be a dead man. if you have this quirk and you just focus your thinking to a certain part of someones body, you can only mess them up in that body part. however if you dont focus your mind, then like they just die. its so gruesome nd icky nd i love it.

the next quirk,purpose manipulation. that could be either a hero or a villain quirk ngl. its pretty versatile nd it mostly depends on the quirk holder themselves and not so much the quirk.

basically this quirk gives the quirkholder the ability to change what something is meant to do. this could mean you can change what organic or inorganic matter can do or was originally made to do. in my case, its either or. like you can either change organic matter only or change only inorganic matter. but like TECHNICALLY this quirk could work for both at once but then thats just going to be too OP imo....

the best way 2 explain this quirk is like how my man edward elric was change his automail into like anything he wants rly ? thats basically this. like if you touch yourself or someone else, you can change what that body part is supposed to do. you can change it in minor ways, like making yourself stronger by adding more muslce or making someone weaker by taking away muscle. but you can also shape shift parts of your body or other parts of other peoples bodies.

this could also would on quirks, though maybe for the sake of this character it wouldnt be like dang...op much? but IF it could work on quirks, it would give the quirkholder the ability to change how someone elses quirk would work. of course it would be hard to do this on people whos quirks have long range attacks because in order for this quirk to even work you have to be able to touch the other person.

this quirk could ALSO work in a more...abstract way? in which instead of phsycial changes or changes to inorganic things, you can have the ability to change someones outcome. its like if nighteye had a second part of this quirk, one where he can see future outcomes and one part where he could change it. though this would be a hard quirk to write if this was the case because then the character would have to know premptively how something will work and then change it before. becuse you cant change the past unless it has time traveling properties????? but thats....too much....nd its hurting my head.

anyways i think this is all i have for these quirks right now. sorry for long post lol im jsut rly bnha on main rn
