I heard about the question "Which two friends from FRIENDS were the least close?" (I don't care what Youtube says, it was definitely Chandler and Phoebe)

So I'm wondering which pair of the Seven were the least close.

Friends au

I saw a post ages ago similar but I can’t find it again so I did this to myself 😩

But anyway…

Ross-Jason: Reyna is totally Carol (bc Reyna likes girls, don’t argue with me). He’s also really clever (I totally headcanon Jason as the Dinosaur kid™). He would totally fall for Piper (she’s a “knockout”, remember?)

Rachel-Piper: She’s pretty, she’s rich (I know pipes is more down to earth but Rachel learns). Her and Leo are good friends as well so it makes sense that they room together at one point.

Monica-Annabeth: Both love their careers (or future careers). I think that Jason and Annabeth would be good as a brother/sister dynamic (I mean, Jason is Thalia’s brother, she’d be inclined to help him if he needed it). I also think that high school Annabeth could be a bit chubby/have a hideous case of glasses and braces but then experiences a major glow up.

Chandler-Percy: Both are hilarious. I think that Chandler/Monica reflect Percabeth in some ways, they’re unexpected, support each other and Monica sometimes has to tell Chandler that he is good enough. Both are a bit childish and lazy with plans for the future (new rome/suburbs). Chandler’s mom is a writer and so is Sally! He can also calm Annabeth down and help her relax.

Joey-Leo: Duh! Both come from immigrant families and are very proud of it. Both take a fancy to anything with a vagina and have (at first glance) a very big ego. Both love what they do and although it didn’t really get enough spotlight in the books, I’m sure Percy and Leo would be good friends (what if the whole Kathy scenario was reversed like with Calypso?) Then there’s that thing where Rachel and Joey go out for a bit but there’s always little hints of Liper if you look hard enough. Both need help from Jason/Ross to get them out of a mess.

Phoebe-Hazel: Both have a terrible past which results in their mother’s dying. Both have a ‘supernatural’ thing about them (magic/fortune telling). I also think that Hazel would totally be surrogate for Nick and Will when she finds out he’s her brother. She also has strange sense of style like Phoebe but because she’s been ‘out of it’ for 60 odd years. They can both speak French. Her and Leo are also really good friends so much so she let him set her up with someone but he forgets about it.

Mike/OC: Leo forgets that he was supposed to set Hazel up with someone so randomly shouts “Frank!” at a crowd of people. Frank then turns around a Leo is shocked when he sees one of the three soldiers in the crowd responds. Frank is known to be a pushover and not one for confrontation so he agrees to go on the date. Everything that happens in the episode occurs. Hazel and Frank eventually start dating and when the ‘gang’ first sees him Percy realises that Frank is one of his many cousins, Annabeth and Piper are wary because they discover that Frank has previously dated his female roommate, Drew (Precious?). Hazel then finds out and persuades Drew that Frank is a jerk.

That got longer as I went on, does anyone else have any ideas/head canons? I need more of this au!!!!
