just trying to organize sum thots anyways. there is this brand of. not "converts", bc 99.99999% of converts dont act like this, n these ppl v rarely actually try n seek out conversion. but "conversion curious" ppl who talk abt wanting to convert to judaism. not bc they feel a connection to judaism, or jewish people, or even good old fashion philosemitism, nothing like that. bc its almost the only oppressed minority label u can gain simply bc u want to. not bc ur born to a specific group, or have a disability, or experience ur gender/sexual orientation in a different manner. simply bc u want to.

these ppl dont seek out to convert (again, they almost never do, bc the entire conversion process is solely for the purpose of weeding out ppl who dont truly want it) bc they love judaism or jews, they want to be more oppressed. scratch that, to *look* more oppressed. and this isnt exclusive to like cis ppl or white ppl or anything. they dont respect judaism. they respect jewish people even less. the littlegreenfag example is a good one (dont wanna call them by their "chosen name" bc they p much just clicked 'randomize' on jewish names in behindthename) bc if they respected jewish ppl they wouldntve done any of that. they wouldve said 'i want to convert to judaism'. maybe even mention they have distant jewish ancestry. not what they did tho (also note how they werent even in the process of conversion). if they respected jews n our history they wouldntve made up a holocaust survivor grandma who was personally experimented on by mengele (???). they wouldntve posted thinly veiled antisemitic posts n spread them around w their gentile followers. they dont respect jews n judaism. they don't even actually wanna put in the work and convert. they want to seem more oppressed online for clout.

now ofc judaism n jewish ppl r no longer acknowledged as one of the most historically prosecuted minorities in the world, but rather something white ppl made up to sell more racism. i wonder what religion the tumblrinas will choose to ""convert"" to next. my bet is on islam or hinduism (can u even convert to hinduism? either way im sure theyll try) ("cruelty free" religions who have never oppressed anyone, ofc 🙄). anyways its like 11pm feel free to ignore all of this

hi this is so random but i need to wax poetic. you have no obligation to reply to this. also i do not mean this in a parasocial way at ALL lmao i recognize that idk you trust. i first found ur blog in 2020 as a eighth grader in lockdown that was completely lost. i had lost my uncle to covid during that time and went from being a stellar student to receding into my shell and watching my grades tank. my shit home situation and undiagnosed depression led to me sinking into any form of escapism possible, mainly thru the form of books. i was super obsessed with perry johnson LMAO at the time and had all the time in the world to look into the fandom. this was around the time the unnamed author was just, like, violently and belligerently racist and scathing to any fans that questioned otherwise. being a tumblrina, i went to this site to see people comment on this, only to find you and ur mutuals were the only people openly discussing how he was just plain vile. i remember how sickened i felt seeing how you and other people of color were getting doxxed and threatened for pointing out what i thought was incredibly obvious. as a rlly sheltered person of color, this was the first time it struck me that the world was lying about how much they were actually willing to stick up for us, as before that i was just stupidly optimistic. anyways bc of that i started checking ur blog like EVERYDAY because of how much your words resonated with me. i was in complete awe of just how witty you were, and how you took no shit from people. granted this was a defense mechanism from crazy ass white fandom bitches but it was still weirdly inspiring. i still remember seeing u pull out the yale trap card so often and being like, oh shit this girl is something else lol thats hysterical. for the rest of high school i would keep up to date with u and specifically ur writing and poetry on promethes. kal i need you to realize your words actually rearranged my brain. the poems about your great grandfather, your mother, your pos friend, of being a horror, to love and to be loved is rest, everything EVERYTHING is etched into my memory. i really feel like i stumbled onto the modern fucking plato or something. anyways my critical thinking skills and love of poetry both are strongly influenced by you. i used to be the kind of person that hated everything and couldnt bear the thought of tolerating this world for another second. but your unyielding positivity and optimism, and insistence that kindness being the more difficult choice is inherently more radical really changed me. ik u didnt invent that or yadda yadda but u really made it seem real. im still learning to take each day slower, to breathe in a little deeper, but the beauty of so many things i previously dismissed is so obvious to me now. that post you made about you and ur mutuals educating a whole generation is so true lol. so just thank you. honestly thank u thank u thank you from the bottom of my heart. im a senior now who just submitted my yale application tonight and thought of you and im a little drunk right now so i think thats why i wrote this whole ass essay but just. like idk. u changed me and idek know you. i made my friend who got into princeton a trap card bc urs was so inspiring lol. anyways i truly hope you have a peaceful happy life and a good night. your soul is really such a beautiful thing and you deserve the world pls never settle for anything less

I know that the show isnt gonna tie off all loose ends, and i dont think i want it to yet, but my dream for the near future is:

Alya and Zoe get to be the primary Ladybug and Cat,

They do patrols and are so cringe on main as they help keep the public morale up by hosting art night and photography contests and are publically superwholock fans.

And adrien and marinette know each others’ secret identities and act as zoe and alya’s hero mentors respecfully so theyre not alone, and also make random public appearances as lb and cn to a crowd that loves them.

But they spend most of their newfound free time going on silly little dates and hanging out with their friends and like having marinette doing fashion design more.

Meanwhile Gabe dies and the peacock ends up in lila’s hands

and she makes completely different styles of akumas that are all used for petty teenage drama low stakes things.

And kitty noir and scarabella fight them off and then keep inviting the recovered akuma victims to their cringe little tumblrina themed parties.

Scarabella is like “this is a tardis charm. It doesnt technically have any magic but if youre ever overwhelmed it will remind you to simply watch shows and project onto your blorbo. You should try fanfiction itll fix u.”

And lila as a supervillain keeps trying to start a smear campaign by calling kittybella and scarabella cringe because she’s 14 and thats the worst insult she knows,

but team kittybella just keeps appearing on the ladyblog to be like “hiiii paris. did you know that being cringe is cool and fun. Anyway these are our silly little ocs we made when we were 13 we will be sharing them and if you are 13 and have ocs you should send them in. And everyone in paris has to say nice things because creativity is so good.”

And scarabella defeats one akuma by literally saying “omg i like your shoelaces” and lila screams so much she loses control of the akuma who breaks free to say “thanks i got them from the president.”

Everyone keeps asking if kittybella is dating and its deeply unclear bc they keep looking like theyre about to kiss and then going “WAIT i just remembered i need to show u this meme. its so funny.”

This is the world i dream about.

context for recent hair developments: i used to have a mullet, i used to have red hair, i used to have it like my man sokka (not calling what i had a Warriors Wolftail because im not A warrior). but nowadays? i enjoy the lightness and simpleness of getting as close to as possible to a buzzcut.

idk if i will ever dye it again (seeing some pics of yan li’s ((the model)) red buzzcut really tempts me, but i wanna look ‘professional’ for a bit okay), but for now? almost buzzcut it is

and i hadnt had my hair cut since… late november, early december? so by now, my hair was shapeless. so yesterday i went to The Barber. but i couldnt remember the exact ‘number’ of the clipper they use on the top of my head (i regularly ask for X number on the top, fading to Y), but i knew it was around 5. and u see, dear tumblrina, i dont know what the fuck those numbers mean. the guy asked if i was sure, and whatever, even if its not the exact way i regularly ask for it, i KNOW it’s a close guess anyway

so he finishes and asks for final confirmation. this is the part i put my glasses back on and say ‘yep. just like this. thx’. but alas, i was genuinely surprised to see my fucking scalp even without my glasses. i mean it wasnt bad, it just SURPRISED me, because now it really looked like a buzzcut. AND PRECISELY because of that… im very satisfied:) makes me feel like a gay guy, somehow? like someone would see me and think ‘hmm thats definitely a guy… and… he looks sorta gay’. dammit, i love this feeling. plus, i dont have to brush or dry my hair!
