The way Kishimoto drew and the way Ikemoto draws are so stark.

I know it isn't hot news that ikemoto's art is universally ugly and has pedo vibes, but compared to Kishimoto's art it adds an extra layer of icky.

Okay like for example Sakura's, Ino's, and Hinata's first appearance

Now Saradas first appearance

When Kishimoto introduces his female character, it focuses on the character (or in relation to other characters). But, Ikemoto introduces Sarada with an emphasis on her physical appearance. What makes it incredibly disgusting is that she is FUCKING 12!

And it gets much, much worse.

All of Sarada's panels are sexualized in a way. Every. Single. One. (these are from early boruto)

Manga covers are just as bad

Comparing this to the genin Sakura (and Ino) from early Naruto, Ikemoto, who worked on Naruto with Kishimoto, is going out of his way to draw Sarada like this.

AND NO HE DIDN'T JUST SEXULIZE THE GIRLS

Mikio Ikemoto's designs are bland.

Apart from Boruto's designs, all of the Two Blue Vortex Designs are bland. Empty. They can be dumbed down to oversize and belts. That's it. It doesn't feel like Naruto anymore. Yeah okay we get it, it's not Naruto's story anymore. It's not the same era anymore. We've seen clothes change different time periods in Naruto. Starting with robes when Kaguya arrived on Earth, then kimonos and armors in Madara and Hashirama's period then what we had in Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. Yeah I know it's more modern now but it doesn't mean it should be this bad. There's nothing to look at, it's just baggy clothes with belts and that's it.

I have no problems with heels but why did Ikemoto make Sarada wear it a lot, particularly ones with very high heels, which is not suited for combat. Sarada fans will be saying that she got that from Sakura, who also got that from Tsunade but the difference is, Tsunade wasn't even in Konoha and nevertheless an active shinobi so she wears one. Shizune did wear heels but she changed into the heelless ones during the war.

Hinata also wore sandals with heels but only during Naruto's inaguration then she went back to the heelless ones.

It is also the reason why I liked the 5th Mizukage, Mei Terumi, her sandals are always the heelless ones when she was active. She only started wearing heeled sandals after she retired.

Anyways, I really find it weird that Sarada developed a liking to heels at a young age.

Normal it'll be easier to fight and move in normal shinobi shoes, heels just make it harder.

Even tho Tsunade wore heels, she didn't have them that high. And neither are Sakura's, so I find it weird that Sarada has heels higher than the other two, and they were OLDER than her when they wore them.

I think Hinata would've worn heels for any other special occasions, just not when she's on missions, because it will probably get in the way and make it harder to land on your feet.

Well, Mei didn't have to be in battle anymore, so it's understandable why she'd start wearing heels.

I blame Ikemoto for this because heels on a shinobi is just dumb. They're literally there to fight, yet he put heels on her and the reason better not be "to make her more girly", because that's stupid. He probably drew a mini-skirt on her because he's a pedo and to make her more girly.

I do not want to consume Boruto in any way.

I either watch some horrible Bland animations with 85% filler episodes with horrible ways of destroying Sasuke's character, and when they do have good animation, it is mainly recycled from previous episodes.

Or I read the manga with some of the ugliest designs known to mankind and outfits for a 12 year old looking Like something a, excuse my language, a whore would wear.

Did kishimoto give boruto to his assistant with the worst art style to make sure it bombs even harder? I can imagine him being that kind of petty tbh 😂. I remember kishimoto saying that only one of his assistants can replicate his art style, it's clearly not ikemoto

Lol. Clearly not. Ikemoto's art sucks. It just looks so juvenile, where Kishi's art really managed to capture real human emotions so deftly, Ikemoto's art seems caricaturish in comparison.

To deliberately try and bomb the sequel by appointing someone less than skillful to draw would be high self sabotage. But then I don't know what to say since Kishi did nerf Sasuke and Naruto and that was no accident. Lol. Kishi is such a weirdo.
