I'm kinda with Fizz on this-

Blitzo doesn't really serve much purpose in this episode other than comic relief. I get why Ozzie invited him- he just wants some extra help in convincing Fizz that getting involved with Mammon is bad news and all that, but dude-- If Fizz won't even listen to you, what makes you think he'd want to listen to Blitzo.

When Blitzo picked up the phone after he called, Ozz referred to him as, and I quote, "Fizz's former bestie, then life-long enemy, then recent hero, now newly rekindled sort of friend, Blitzo." All those descriptions that pretty much demonstrate everything they've been through and you still thought inviting him was the best idea, lol! Blitzo didn't even accomplish convincing Fizz of anything. I can give him points for trying, but Fizz was still feeling the way he felt about everything. Instead, it was Ozzie who made him have a change of heart (after the forgettable af musical number that probably didn't need to be there). He talked with Fizz and gave him a realization and of course, he ended up protecting Fizz from Mammon at the end of the ep.

All I'm saying is instead of Blitzo being there, Ozzie should've stuck around. I truly don't see why he couldn't.

Spoilers for bojack horseman in case you care (I'll be vague but just delete this ask if you want to avoid any spoilers)

I always think about how in bojack, one of the characters cutting contact with their asshole family member was seen as the appropriate response to the family member's bad behavior but in helluva boss barbie was portrayed as the bad guy for cutting contact with blitz. Sure maybe blitz wasn't as bad as the family member in bojack, but you can cut contact with a family member for any reason and blitz was woobified for disrespecting barbie's boundaries

I guess its because Blitz wants to make amends to Barbie but like considering what happened I honestly don't blame Barbie for being made at Blitz. Like If I was her I would probably also still be pissed at Blitz for what he did and I wouldn't forgive him so easily. We all know Barbie is going to forgive Blitz at some point but honestly, Blitz has hurt her so much that I don't know if Barbie CAN even forgive Blitz.

This actually has some potential here, maybe there could be a lesson that no matter how hard you try, and even when you've changed, sometimes, some people are just never going to forgive you for what you did to them. There are some bad actions you just can't make up for. That would be a perfectly mature lesson for Blitz to learn... which we all know isn't going to happen because since when has HB EVER made mature morals or lessons for the characters to learn and grow from? Answer: never.

Maybe they could have Barbie slowly forgiving Blitz for what he did but that'll take multiple episodes to build their relationship and considering HB's bad pacing the forgiveness is most likely going to be rushed anyway.

Stolas might be a bad dad.

Since many people in HB Fandom love to talk about Stolas is a good dad insisting that I decided to a marathon of all the times he mentioned and interacted with Octavia in comparison to Blitz, throughout the show, so far.

Rules:

If Stolas mentions Blitz/Octavia in any way it counts as +1.

Stolas has a conversation (including flirting) with Blitz/Octavia it counts as +2.

If Stolas has a meaningful (tearjerker, heartwarming, anything else) moment between Octavia/Blitz it counts as +3.

If Blitz/Octavia mention about Stolas it gets +1, if they mention him in a important way +2.

Again showing this would give her even more understanding why she never wants to see Blitzo again. Heck, one could say that this scene would have been better if Unhappy Campers did more to foreshadow this flashback so we better understand her anger instead of the M's dicking around with a bunch of campers. And again it would have been good if we saw Barbie Wire in the "Circus" flashback as well.

I already saw that musical... that damn musical that I now consider to be one of the worst videos I have ever seen on the entire YouTube platform.

To summarize all this, it's just Stolas being the victim and the usual sad boy, it's just a video to feel sorry for this dirty and ugly bird.

Throughout the video we are shown how Stolas is a pathetic misunderstood who only wants the attention of his """blitzy""", and how? If all this time this little shit bird has been treated as a toy, threatened by his family and fetishized to a sick point that only cares about his cock and nothing else, this is so horrifying and disgusting...

"I don't care that you're of lower status"...really?...how dare you say that while treating your so-called toy's friends like shit including your own butler, you're just a dirty rat

There is barely one, ONLY ONE, mention of Octavia, and 99% of the video is only based on how she cries to Blitz like a pathetic, sad and failed simp, while your own daughter who has been more present in your life and She has needed you like never before, she suffers from loneliness, depression and since she only wants someone who understands her, this """Character""" is only interested in someone she barely met for just once in her life.

This is the purest definition of what you should not do with a character, how to make a character that at first would be interesting become the most irritating, ridiculous, stupid, and poorly pathetic thing just for the convenience of our dear friend and animal abuser Vivianne Medrano aka "Vivziepop"

Loona is a literal bitch with the way she treats her adoptive father like shit even though he tries to be a good dad. But yet she capes for Stolass and defends his actions to octavia

I always despised Loona from day one with how she basically bullies Moxie for no reason and constantly disrespected her adopted dad, the guy that literally took her out of that hell-hole and treated her as a daughter even when he didn't have to (I hate Blitzo, but credit where credit is due 🤷) And she repays him by basically abusing both him and his employees. No wonder the b doesn't have any friends. I bet the only reason she has a fanbase is because of her appearance. I bet if she were drawn as unattractive she'd be the most hated character on the show, no doubt.

Helluva boss positivity (?)

Well, so, because there are some helluva boss fans that think we, who rightfully critizes this show, are just "hating because yes" and stuff, Im gonna comment stuff that I do like of Helluva boss, to show that, is not that we hate... is just that there is a lot to critize.

So, lets go.

The voice actors do an excellent job. The animation usually is really smooth and colourful.

There are some jokes I found funny and that dont rely on swearing or sex. Some examples:

"Im not gonna call any names... Moxxie". *raise eyebrow*

"Why dont you take an art class?" "Why dont you see how EXPENSIVE they are?!" *my favourite dialogue between this two, their dynamic should have been more like this*

"Or what?" "Or... I call HR". *cut to laughing*

I like the design of Verosika and her VA

If we ignore that she sexually assaulted Moxxie, she can be likeable. If we ignore it, thats it...

Moxxie is best boy and he deserves more respect, and better writting

Like, okay, Im not excusing all the murder and stuff, BUT, that doesnt mean I cant like him, and that of all the main cast, he is one of the most likeable and even simpatetic.

And yeah, ep 5 of season 2 isnt the best Moxxie ep... but thats not his faulth. I still love you Moxxie :)

Also... I love his relationship with Millie, they are really cute

Even tough Millie doesnt have a lot of development... Nono, we are being positive right know.

They are really good songs like "You will be okay" and "House of Asmodeus".

... Actually, they are the best songs. The rest are okay, I guess. I dont dislike them. Verosikaˋs one isnt bad.

Octavia is really likeable and realistic, and Im sure a lot of people like her in real life can identify with her and her problems.

You deserve better too, girl.

The first season is not as bad as season 2 because it was more focused on the comedy. Tough there still some problems...

Fizzarolli and Asmodeus have a really cute and healthy relationship and I love that for them. And Fizz is great.

Because some other stuff I did like was before season 2. For example, I used to love ep 6 because of the allucination scene, and the depht it gave to Blitzo and Moxxie, and ep 7 because of the drama.

I really don’t understand some fans when they say that Blitz and Moxxie have an “interesting” dynamic and work off each other well. They portray Blitz as this “lovable goofball” who wants what’s best for his employees but is childish and crass, meanwhile Moxxie is the kind straight man and they’re a “foil to each other”, but….not really???

Their dynamic WOULD be interesting if Blitz was rewritten, perhaps as some kind of inexperienced boss who has no idea how to run a company or knew what he was doing, OR maybe someone similar to Mr. Krabs, a cheapskate who always gets the gang into trouble in wild ways and who’s methods are too over the top, someone just completely unhinged, had they kept the whole “I want to prove Imps are just as capable of doing anything like other demons”- for his motivation. He could be this crazy boss who while is mad, is actually VERY smart than people lead on, kinda like Lupin the Third vibes if you’ve seen that anime, just a guy who can be in over his head at times and nosedives first into situations, but also someone who isn’t 100% dumb and is actually very skilled and resourceful. Meanwhile keep Moxxie the same, just get rid of the punching bag scenario. Moxxie WOULD serve as a good foil dynamic for Blitz, because he is more stern, serious, and sophisticated, he’s the straight man who thinks Blitz’s ideas are absolutely insane and that constantly criticizes him, because the other is so unhinged and delusional compared to him. THEN they really would have been a fun dynamic, but that’s not the case for the show.

Blitz’s instead is just this asshole, his entire dynamic with Moxxie is just that he verbally abuses him and beats him down EVERY chance he gets, and it’s for no reason other than the writers are trying way too hard to be shockingly edgy and funny. I get that Moxxie is the straight man, but they give Blitz NO fucking reason to treat Moxxie the way he does, especially the sexual harassment and the creepy part about how much he wants to lay him and his wife. Also….Blitz as a character doesn’t even seem like he cares about his business at all? Like in the pilot it actually seemed like his passion project, but in the show he acts like it’s such a chore, complaining about clients constantly and always having this grumpy attitude towards it, he only seems to be in it for the money and I really don’t know why the show scrapped the idea of him doing this in the first place to prove Imps are worthy, in my opinion it would have been better and made more sense, but it doesn’t help as a vision since the show clearly doesn’t care about the “BOSS” aspect of the show anymore, aka the original fucking premise since the IMP business is now a background thing.

But anyway, yeah I don’t buy Blitz and Moxxie as a team, it’s honestly such a toxic “friendship” because Blitz barley shows companionship for his employees outside of thirsting over them or just being a dick to them. I’m still not over the “I treat you like shit to toughen you up” schtick, literally fuck off Vivzie.

Okay, for real though, can this show stop trying to convince us that Blitzo loved Stolas all along and is either hiding it or just doesn’t realize it yet while secretly craving his affection when he really doesn’t.

 All this man has been doing is telling Stolas off, backing talking, and cursing at him. And even when he’s NOT doing that, he’s just barely tolerating him, but he wasn’t catching feelings!  He never even liked the idea of having sex with him, and we he does (for some reason) he’s just feeling horny. E.g. the end of ep 6 season 1. There was no ounce of passion behind that tongue kiss. Viv may have thought she made Blitzo fall for Stolas, but all she did was turn him into another Angel Dust; a gay man who will bang anybody around him if he’s gets turned on. And that would include Chaz, yet another Angel Dust. The only reason why the writers made Blitzo shocked at Stolas’s injuries, why they made it seem like he cared is because Viv is just forcing these feelings to happen with no build-up because she’s an impatient writer and wants to get the ship out the way.

It’s pretty clear at this point that Stolas and Blitzo would not make a good couple anyway. There was never any love between EITHER of them. Stolas only ever wanted to sleep with Blitzo cuz he’s a horny bird and Blitzo only agreed to go along with it out of pity initially and also for the grimoire. Blitzo is clearly always miserable around Stolas and for good reason. Like I said, Stolas only ever wants sex from him, constantly flirts with him knowing how uncomfortable that makes him, and was even embarrassed to be seen with him in public, which hurt Blitzo. And had the nerve to invite Blitzo into his home like he was just in the absolutely GOOD MOOD for it. Like, no sir-- And according to the text messages between the two, it’s pretty clear Stolas didn’t learn a damn thing. He just pretends like that whole Ozzie’s incident didn’t happen and acts like he doesn’t know what’s upsetting Blitzo, even though Blitzo told him TO HIS FACE why he was upset!! And he continues to flirt with Blitzo, as if he doesn’t make it clear already that he doesn’t like the flirting!!! And fans simp over THIS????

Of course, Blitzo isn’t the complete victim, cuz he did his part in manipulating Stolas too, tricking him into getting the things he wants. That being another reason why these two aren’t good for each other; cuz there’s always manipulation. But the entire gist of it is that Blitzo doesn’t love Stolas. I don’t care how badly Viv wants this ship to be endgame, Blitzo and Stolas should not get together and quite frankly, I hope they don’t get together. 

If anything, I think they’d be better off as acquaintances or something.

Before I get into this I just want to say that although I am a critic of HH/HB, I still like the show either way. This post is not meant to attack anyone, its just to give my thoughts.

So there has been something about Stolitz I have been thinking about recently and I just think that even IF Stolas is sorry for what he did to Blitzø, its best for the two to just move on. I mean imo if you were to get back together with your abusive ex after they apologized for the horrible stuff they did (whether it be physical, mental, emotional, or in this case coersion) then what is stopping them from doing it again? Even if they DO stop hurting you, it doesnt change the fact that they hurt you. Just because the abuser claims something like "Hey, whatever horrible things I might say and do to you, I still love you no matter what" is a BIG red flag. Stolas is an abuser. Blitzø is a victim. People say that its Blitzø's fault he does not feel the same way Stolas does. Even if their relationship was healthy, you can't force someone to fall in love. Even IF Blitzø felt the same way as Stolas those moments are few and far between. And just because you have a crush on someone that doesnt necessarily mean that you should be in a relationship with them, ESPECIALLY in this context. Just because Stolas was sexually repressed does not excuse the fact he forced Blitzø into sexual coersion. Just because he had a mean wife it does not excuse him for his actions. The show puts Stolas in a light where he didnt do anything wrong, and made him and his relationship with Blitzø a predictable cliche love plot. I always WANTED to like this ship, I really do... But when I see people trying to romantacise something toxic, it makes me worry if this is how they will treat REAL people. Because, lets be real most Vivziepop stans are 13 year olds who think saying the f-bomb in every sentece is peak writing.

To Stolitz shippers: Just because someone doesnt like Stolitz, does not make them homophobic. I dont like Stolitz because it romanacizes a toxic relationship. Yes the show is fictional, but fiction has bleed into reality before.

I think this is the best video that hits the nail on the head. I am not trying to demonize people who like this ship. I HATE HARASSMENT.

To Critics/Haters: PLEASE DO NOT HARASS PEOPLE WHO LIKE THIS SHIP. While I find myself uncomfortable shipping relationships that are toxic, its imature to harass people over it. It does not make you a better person. Not all Stolitz shippers are horrible people, there are both horrible people in the Fandom and Hatedom. We already have many people in the community who left the community from both sides. So please be more open minded about this.
