@faeriedal I think I would ship with Yuta of NCT, because he’s a very sweet and calming presence and he cares deeply for the people he loves, and looks after them. I think that’s someone that Olive deserves in her life. He’s also not an Aquarius so that’s a bonus, in her eyes gjlhfdj but I think he’s calm, but just fun enough for her to not get annoyed by him. AND I DON’T CARE HOW SHE FEELS ABOUT IT. My brain cells aren’t working tonight but that’s not going to stop me

Desi seems to like playful/teasing types of people 👀 and San is DEFINITELY playful with the people he cares about. He’s obnoxious but in an endearing and cute way. He also has a big heart and cares for people around him. He’s also very cute and affectionate, and I think that’s just right for Desi, even if she doesn’t agree with me uhfd idk

@jinsgalaxy Sarvi my angel! I am not giving any of y’all the people you’d expect me to give you. I think for Sarvi, my sweet ball of sunshine, I’d saaay... Bangchan from Stray Kids? I think Chan is a REALLY deeply caring person, he gives his all to the people around him, and he’s really funny and playful, just like Sarvi! I think she’d get along really well with him and they’d be a dynamic duo! She needs someone who knows how to crack jokes and have fun but also be a deeply supporting and gentle person. I think he’d be very physically affectionate as well! And very patient and understanding. Just right for my baby! 

@dajung-salang Becca has a LOT of energy and affection to give! She needs someone who can match that! I think I’d pair her with Jooheon! He is really playful and funny and full of energy, just like her! Plus he is DESPERATE for affection and attention, and Becca has an endless supply of both. I think they’d be very happy around each other and they’d have lots of fun adventures! 

@doom-daddy-top is always thinking about others! A really good and thoughtful friend to have~ ALSO super affectionate! I think I will match them with... Yunho! He has a fun and bubbly personality and I personally think that pairs very well with theirs! Fun, always has their friends on their mind, and a mood brightener! Well Kyungsoo and I have the same personality and interests, but he IS an idol so I GUESS I have to say Kyungsoo. Hey mate, love your work! You are one of my favs along Rae! So.... could you maybe try to bring her to the sc fandom lol. The amount of content we would have from both of you would be amazing, a girl can dream!

I’ve tried! Believe me! Lol. @raedmagdon has actually beta’d some smutty Supercorp content for me in the past, but I’ve not pushed the matter with her. Rae is entitled to her own opinions on fandom and media, and she’s allowed to dislike SG. She’s not a fan of SG’s writing staff and their queer-baiting, and that’s fine—frankly, I can’t say I disagree. It’s pretty shit.

I, however, was raised on Joss Whedon and his -ahem-‘ideas’ of feminism, so the ‘monster-of-the-week-superheroine show-with-queer-coded-sexy-cis-villainesses’ is more nostalgic than problematic for me. I’m okay with the show being terrible and the producers going ‘no homo’ constantly because canon never matters much to me anyway, and I love a slow burn sexual chemistry—Katie McGrath is definitely giving that to us in spades. I also think other shows that Tumblr loves to drool over are definitely worse in terms of queer-baiting—Killing Eve comes to mind. KE is even more troubling for me than SG, because it employs the ‘psychotic lesbian trope’ freely and without regard, and it has the same SG problem of having everyone involved with the show deny the queer romance aspect. Riley J Dennis’s amazing video may help here. I’ve been asked to write for Killing Eve numerous times and I just...can’t.

So, with all that being said—if I just ignored my friend’s opinions and tried to convince her to shove SG down her throat, I’d be ignoring many of the very real problems with SG and the way they choose to portray their POC or LGBTQ+ cast. Rae’s a grown woman. She’s allowed to feel the way she feels. I would definitely LOVE to do an SG collab with her (honestly) but that’s her choice to make, not mine.

Still, we could always use more writers in this fandom, so hey anon, why don’t you try your hand at it? You never know, you may be really good. ♥️

(Part 1) Oh oh oh! About lesbian books, I've read so many recently I have ones that I'd definitely recommend :) Anything by 'Jae'. Seriously. Anything. I've not found a single book of hers I haven't loved to bits. I've read a couple of books by Natasha West (the first one was mistletoe moment) and they were adorable. Oh! Rae D. Magdon has a wonderful series of rewritten fairytales with lesbians. If you like star trek then Destination Alara by SY Thompson is a lot of fun.

(Part 2) And then there’s a series by Monica Nolan which starts with Lois Lenz Lesbian Secretary which is just a fun Pulp book with lesbians and a mystery to solve. And there’s an adorable fantasy boarding school series by Eleanor Beresford that starts with Pegasi and Prefects. Oh! L-J Baker has some good ones too (I really liked Lady Knight). I’ll try to find more reccommendations! I have a whole collection :DOh! (lesbian book anon here again) one more, then I'll stop =p The Morelville series by Anne Hagan. Right, back to my bookshelves.--------------Oh wow! Thanks so much for all the recommendations. I haven't read most of these, I better get started :)
