CH 1

1992

I stepped out of the car, the moving van pulling up behind it. Florida all the way across the country. I didn’t know what to feel, it was pretty so far but I was kinda scared it was different and I didn’t know anyone. I saw my mom talking to someone and walked up to her. She paused looking down at me a smile gracing her face.

“This is Natasha, Sweetheart this is Ms Lisa” I waved she seemed really nice.

“Hi.” I said shyly. A little boy ran up a large smile on his face as he stopped looking at me.

“Hi I’m Joe.”

“Hi,”

“What’s your name?”

“Natasha.”

“Wanna play?”

“Um sure ok.”

“Cool come on.” I followed him not knowing I’d be doing it forever or that I’d met my best friend.

3 Weeks Later

I was playing with Joe, we’d played every day since I’d moved in. It was summer so he was really the only person I knew right now, but I was ok with that he was really fun to be around

“Hey do you wanna go to my cousins with me I’m sure no one will care.” He said goosing the ball

“Are you sure?”

“Yeah why not we’re going to be in school together they’re my best friends kinda like you. They’re twins.”

“Ok.”

“Joe are are ready to go? Hello Natasha.”

“Hello Ms Lisa.”.

“Mom can Natasha come.”

“If her mom there is ok with that I’m sure it’s fine.”

Getting to his cousins I followed Joe as he walked in and I already saw him talking to two boys

“These are my cousins, guys this is Natasha and this is Jon.”

“Hi.”

“Hi I’m Josh.”

Fatu twins and Anoai. I’d been friends with them since day 1 and when that used to be how they were called or triple threat. The four musketeers My best friends, my life. I was so grateful for them, they’d had my back since I moved here and I know my life wouldn’t be the same without them hell I don’t think the move or my life would be as amazing had I not met them

I’d met Joe at 6 when my family moved to Pensacola and we became next door neighbors. My father was in the Navy, I had been born in San Diego California spending the first 6 years of my life in Miramar California since my father was stationed there. TOPGUN I’m sure you’ve heard of it and it’s a real place it’s not there anymore it was moved to Nevada but back then it was also at that base. When I was 6 my father got a promotion and we moved all the way to Florida. They’d found a nice little home off base and that’s where I met Joe; He’s been my best friend since, and within weeks I was friends with his cousins Jon and Josh, those three have been inseparable their entire lives and Joe is just an extra brother instead of a cousin. Always hanging out, playing sports, watching wrestling every week, always together. I spent the summer playing with them and once school started I met more people but no one was ever like us four. We all went to school together our whole lives minus Joe's freshman year where he was at some private catholic school until he got Ms Lisa to switch him to Escambia where the twins and I were. All my classes was always with at least one of them, even though they were a year older I was smart and was skipped a grade so since I’d known them we were together. So much so that rumors always flew as we grew that it was more or like in late middle and through high school I was sleeping with all of them. My ego loves that because they were all fine as hell but was so far from the truth, for the most part. I had lost my virginity to Joe when I was 14 and he had just recently turned 16. His birthday was in May and mine was in August like the twins. Yeah we thought the other attractive but it was mostly a I feel comfortable with you do this, we always knew we were better friends and this never changed our relationship but come that Christmas season we’d both learn that someone was seeing me as more than a best friend and had for a couple years.

When we turned 12 I went from Nat to Snickers. At first I hated it but now I’m used to it. It stuck and everyone ended up calling me it. My best friends had called me it once it was clear puberty had it and it hit hard. One day I was the normal tomboyish girl not really anything and the next morning I had boobs, curves and a ass. I remember waking up freaking out crying and putting clothes on that didn’t fit me before I jumped out of my bedroom window and walking the two feet knocking on my best friends a blanket around me. He opened the window looking at me like I was crazy.

“You sick of something Nat?”

“Can I borrow some clothes?”

“Um yeah, why you have tons.” I sighed opening my blanket as his jaw dropped.

“Yeah and they don’t fit help me.” My shirt that used to be normal was to the middle of my stomach not being able to fit over my boobs and my shorts were way to small

“Holy shit.”

“Joe!”

“I um yeah come in.” He grabbed a big shirt and some basketball shorts handing me them and I quickly went to put them on. I went shopping with my mom getting all new clothes and the twins when they saw me freaked just like Joe.

“What the hell where did all that come from?”

“Where’s Natasha and what did you do?”

“Shut up.” I said embarrassed “everyone at school is gonna be saying shit.”

“And we’ll fight them. But for real you look thicker than a snicker got damn.”

“Jonathan.” I wined

“I mean Nat you woke up like that.” Joe said pointing at me.

“Yo most girls would kill for that like damn you got thick.” Josh muttered. “Lemme touch it.” I glared at him but inside something cluttered in my stomach

“Snickers.”

“What about them.”

“Nah that’s you.”

“Yeah all that booty thicker than a snicker.”

“Our snickers.”

“I hate all three of you.”

“No you don’t.” They responded and after that the name stuck

I walked into Joes room tossing my backpack. He chuckled knowing I wasn’t very happy.

“You ok Snickers?”

“Kinda.”

“Wanna talk about it.”

“I’m tired of being a virgin.”

“Oh. Well I mean we’re 15 we’ll you about to be I just turned 16 and I didn’t know you-“

“Bullshit you're my best friend you know I am when the hell have you seen me with a guy let alone you guys won’t let one near me.”

“Cause we hear how they talk about you we ain’t letting some asshole just date you to hit it and tell everyone. They care about all that.” He said pointing at me “and not this.” He said poking a finger into my chest where my heart was

“Will you.”

“Will I what?” He asked looking up from his game

“Take it.”

“Take what?”

“Joe really, ugh this is already weird, take my virginity.” He dropped the controller looking at me like I was crazy.

“What!?”

“Your my best friend why not.”

“Why me why not one of the twins?” He asked confused and it made me nervous maybe I shouldn’t have asked but I couldn’t ask the twins Jon plays to much and Josh, I couldn’t ask Josh even if I wanted too.

“I’m closer to you and Jon plays too much I’ll hear about this the rest of my life if I asked him and you know it and I can’t ask Josh. Joe I only trust you guys, please.”

“Why can’t you ask Josh?”

“I can’t.”

“Snickers.” He said making me look at him. “Oh shit do you like him, like like him like him.”

“Joe.” I whined blushing.

“Oh my god how did I not know and since when.””

“If you tell him I’ll slit your fucking throat.”

“I won’t but you like him.”

“Ugh yeah ok I like Josh”

“Since when?”

“A little while. So I can’t ask him.”

“Why not like wouldn’t that make you wanna ask him more.”

“No because what if he says no or is weird or it changes shit and if he says no it’ll bother me and I don’t wanna catch more feelings if I sleep with him Joe it’ll probably make me like him more and I can’t do that.”

“You sure about this?”

“I’d rather it be someone I trust and am comfortable with and your my best friend.”

“Ok.” I looked up at him shocked he’d said ok he got up as I looked at him.

“Where-“

“I’m not doing this and taking a chance of having a baby we’re kids we don’t need that I’m sure there’s a condom in this house.” Five minutes later he was back and locked his door holding up a foil pack. “Told ya.”

“Shut up.”

“You sure about this Snickers like once we do this you can’t take it back.”

“I’m not stupid I know that.”

“Look of you want I’ll see where uces heads at if he likes you too, then you can ask him.”

“No, cause then if he does I don’t wanna be clueless.”

“ like he’d care like that Snick you got as hell besides I think he’s a virgin too.”

“Joe”

“I’m just making sure, like this is a big step.”

“I’m a big girl.”.Joe gently touched my face lowering his lips to mine as he kissed me. It felt good but also felt weird. Slowly I got into it and we ended up on his bed. I moaned when he kissed around on my neck and he pulled back

“You ok?”

“Um yeah that, that felt good.” He nodded doing it again. We made out a while his hand sliding up my shirt. We slowly undressed as Joe would ask if I was ok or sure.

“Natasha.” I looked at him as he looked down my eyes following his before looking at him. Joe was handsome as hell they all were. “You sure about this?”

“Yes.”

“Tell me if I hurt you.” He kissed me slowly moving as I gasped it felt weird and kinda hurt but also felt good. “You good?” I nodded as he slid all the way as I winced in discomfort. “I’m sorry.”

“You’re good, move.” I replied touching his face.

Most girls I’d heard those first time wasn’t the best and it hurt and while yeah it hurt a little when Joe first started it wasn’t bad. It was different.”

“Wow.”

“What?” I asked.

“You, that,.”

“Joe.”

“What Snickers, ya can’t get shy now not after that.”

“I’m not your just funny.”

“You sure your ok?”

“Yeah Joe you didn’t really hurt me, I mean you got a big dick at least I’m assuming and it hurt a few seconds when you first started but no you didn’t hurt me.”

I looked at my twin like he was crazy, I kno he ain’t really just say that. No Fuckin way

“Snickers?” I asked as he nodded “Snickers our snickers? Natasha? Natasha Aiyana Smith?”

“Yes Jon, damn! Who the hell else you think I’d be talkin bout.”

“Not Natasha not our Snickers that’s for sure.” I replied. I was shocked he liked her like for real for real. “You do know Joe hooked up with her right uce?” He immediately got pissed. Face red and all but as my brother my twin I couldn’t not tell him.

“I hooked up with who?” Joe asked coming in with his bag, staying with us and thank god Snickers wasn’t with him.

“What!?” Josh said glaring out our cousin, and tossing his water. “Always.”

“Dang what I do?” He asked

“You hooked up with Natasha!”

“Um yeah like 6 months ago, she wanted me to take her virginity wanted it to be someone special that she trusted and said those options were me or one of you two.”

“Well uce, uce likes her?”

“What?” Joe asked looking at my twin who was pissed. “Since when?”

“For a while, damn why ain’t she come to me?”

“Because y’all joke too much and she quote loves Jon but ain’t trying to hear his mouth cause he’d never shut up and she didn’t wanna ask you cause she has a Fuckin crush on you and ain’t wanna be weird. Besides she’s known me longer and better she’s legit next door.”

“So y’all like dating?”

“No.” He laughed “that’s like my fucking sister.” He looked at Josh before speaking “why ain’t you say anything no one had a clue and I know she don’t. Otherwise I know she’s had asked you shit I even tried talk her into tellin you.”

“I ain’t think she’d like me like that shit uce we grew up together and now I can’t.”

“Why? She thinks we cute you know that so she probably do like you.”

“Well she ain’t gonna do anything now if she did you done hooked up with her.”

“So what we ain’t dating it didn’t work we work better as friends.if you had said something you’d have taken her virginity dumbass cause when she came to me I found out she likes you that’s why she wouldn’t ask you, she didn’t want you saying no and it being weird and she ain’t wanna catch feelings.”

“But you know Tash man hell people been sayin she fucking all us what she gonna hook up with me and then really feel that way uce. You know her she ain’t about to be what everyone says. Snickers ain’t-“

“Tell her or I will.” Joe said.

“Why she-“

i know that wrestling (and especially wwe) is pretty well known for its uh...... let's call it racist undertones to put it mildly..... i do find it interesting just how blatant it is with roman even as their biggest star, and how his presentation became that much more racialized when he turned heel/villain. like there are far """worse""" cases of casting performers of color as some truly heinous racist stereotypes but what i find interesting with roman reigns is how like. for years they pushed him as a babyface/"good guy" and he wore babyblue contacts, got presented in a way that was a lot more ethnically ambiguous, his samoan heritage (despite being like. descended from a prestigious samoan wrestling family) was far less relevant in terms of his presentation and appearance. and when they finally realize that he is so much better as a heel suddenly they drop the ethnic ambiguity and go full in with him being samoan. the tribal chief shtick, his tattoos being far more prevalent in his presentation, dropping the contacts for his natural dark eyes, a fuller beard--and his new persona as an violent and abusive family patriarch being directly coupled with his identity as a Big Polynesian Man! and the """tribal""" aspect of the uso-anoai family drama too..... and sami always being an outsider at not just bc he isn't directly part of the "bloodline" but bc he isn't polynesian, and how as a face his own racial background is made a lot more ambiguous. (wonder if he turned full aggressive heel if suddenly they'd play a lot more strongly on his syrian background lol). anyhow i'm loving this storyline, it's what got me to watch wrestling at all, and i was more than aware going in that there's a shitton of bullshit there even beyond the wwe and vince macmahon's fuckery! i'm sure there's a lot more context i'm missing too, especially with this particular family's wrestling history and their own presentation (i know v little of the rock's own time on wwe and how he was presented back in the day, i should learn more about that)

Beautiful birthday, GIFSET. It's kind of amazing what they've accomplished as a tag team in a promotion that doesn't care about tag teams. Like people try to say, it's nepotism, but how many Anoai family members made it to WWE and succeeded. I think the Usos and Roman have surpassed the success of those who came before them. And they've inspired future generations

thank youuuu. yeah it's so cool, and it's so incredible for a fan to see them take a division that isn't taken seriously and turn it into something at least somewhat prestigious. or at least, turn it into something prestigious whenever they had the belts. not to sound my age but having grown up with all of the tag teams that people argue are the "greatest of all time", not a single one of them come close to the usos. not the dudleys, the hardyz, not edge and christian. none of them. the usos are the greatest tag team of all time, hands down. that dream they had all those years ago when uncle umaga (rip 🖤) gave them an hour to pack their things and come with him, to make the biggest decision of their lives and leave their families at home to chase what could've been something impossible? yeah, they caught up with it. they achieved it. they made it. i fucking love them so much.

Rock vs Roman isn't going to happen, move on

Honest opinion. Rock vs Roman Reigns is never going to happen.

The Rock has been constantly teasing a WWE return that has never happened. The Rock was supposed to return to team with Ronda in her debut match against HHH and Stephanie since that tease at Wrestlemania 31 and he never came to do the match. His last match was against Erick Rowan at Wrestlemania 32. His last appearance was at Smackdown's 20th Anniversary

WWE has wanted to do Roman vs Rock ever since Rock raised Roman's hand in that Royal Rumble. They clearly want to do the match, the only problem is The Rock would rather be a movie star than be a wrestler. The problem with that is The Rock can only be The Rock and his movies tend to suck because of that fact. Name me one good Rock movie that isn't Mummy Returns or The Scorpion King.

The guy's schedule is constantly overbooked and never has the time to do ONE LITTLE CAMEO. Hell Royal Rumble 2022, WWE were advertising his own fucking show and he couldn't do ONE appearance.

This year, Rock did a interview where he said he is the Tribal Chief. This gave me hope he would do the right thing and finally do the match with Roman. It didn't happen. He didn't make any appearance at all in 2023. No Royal Rumble. No saving Sami at Elimination Chamber. Hell, the bare minimum could've been The Rock as a Special Guest Referee in the match vs Cody. Rock could've gave Roman a rock bottom and helped Cody win. The bare minimum wasn't enough.

At some point wwe has to give up this fever dream of the rock wrestling Roman Reigns at wrestlemania

They have had Roman hold the belts hostage, in hopes the rock will wrestle again

If the Rock didn’t wrestle at Hollywood of all places, it’s not happening. The man was so fucking butthurt over Black Adam's failure that he couldn't just go back to what made him great in the first place and do the honors for Roman or even help Cody win the title.

This was the time to do Roman vs The Rock. The Bloodline was white hot and Roman was at his peak. We didn't get it. Wrestlemania in Hollywood mattered. Next year it will be too little too late. Let me give you a spoiler for 2024. Roman is going to hold the titles till Wrestlemania 40. He's going to make everyone acknowledge him. The Rock will do mediocre action movies, give interviews where he claims HE'S The Tribal Chief and how much he wants to do the match with Roman. But when the road to Wrestlemania picks up. Nothing. No Royal Rumble appearance. No Raw or Smackdown Anniversary and no Wrestlemania 40 match or even a cameo. Roman will then hold the titles for another year and rinse and repeat. Unless WWE wants to wash their hands with this dream match, the company will hurt itself because they are DEAD SET on hurting themselves over keeping the titles on Roman for a Rock vs Roman match. If Rock wouldn't do a fucking match in Hollywood, he's not going to do it at all.

For the sake of fantasy booking on what could've been at Wrestlemania 39. Here we go.

WWE Raw 30th Anniversary January 23rd, 2023: Roman Reigns' Acknowledgement Ceremony is up next after The Usos defeat the Judgement Day every Generation of the Anoai Family is in the ring and then Roman's music hits and he comes out with the with Bloodline, his wiseman Paul Heyman and Reigns himself he explains how appreciated he is seeing his own family is here to Acknowledge him as the Tribal Chief but then he notices someone is missing and he says "I appreciate every part of my family is here to Acknowledge me, but someone isn't here and I feel disrespected that Mr. Hollywood Johnson isn't here to Acknowledge me"

Royal Rumble 2023: Before the Royal Rumble match, Roman Reigns destroys and viciously assaults Kevin Owens after he defeats and retains the Undisputed Universal Championship as he grabs the mic saying "This is a way of sending a message to you Rock, you didn't have the balls to show up to my Ceremony clearly you don't Acknowledge Me as your Tribal Chief, I've seen the rumors If you don't show up tonight I'll go over to Hollywood and Make you Acknowledge Me if I have to !!!" Meanwhile during the Royal Rumble Match The Rock makes a surprise entrant during the Royal Rumble match at #30 but out of nowhere during the match The Usos and Solo Sikoa jump The Rock and Eliminate him from the Royal Rumble Match.

SmackDown February 3rd, 2023: The Show kicks off with The Bloodline with Roman Reigns "I don't care about the Rumble winner The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes because I'd smash him easily that he'll go running back to where he came from, I'm focusing on The Rock………….Dwayne you showed up at the Royal Rumble but not the Ceremony last week?? I get it you're a Movie Star and a Celebrity you just didn't show up because you called yourself the "Head of the Table" elsewhere at an interview, WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DWAYNE, WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE !!!!!!, I'M THE HEAD OF THE TABLE, I'M THE TRIBAL CHIEF IF YOU THINK YOU CAN RUN THE BLOODLINE WHY DON'T YOU GET YOUR ASS OUT HERE FACE TO FACE !!!!!!!!!!" Roman waits and then The Rock's music hits but there's no answer, "You think your smart playing mind games with your Tribal Chief huh, why don't you see me in 2 weeks After I Smash Sami Zayn at the Elimination Chamber." Sami Zayn is confused but he gets blindsided with a superkick and gets brutally demolished by Roman Reigns and the Bloodline the Crowd heavily boos Roman out of the building after the Segment.

Elimination Chamber 2023: Adam Pearce announces that the Roman Reigns vs Sami Zayn match will be for the Universal Championship and the WWE Championship will be vacated and a new Champion will be decided in an Elimination Chamber Match. Results = Seth Rollins wins the Elimination Chamber and the WWE Championship Royal Rumble Cody Rhodes chooses the WWE Championship Seth Rollins vs Cody Rhodes is made official for WrestleMania, Roman Reigns defeats Sami Zayn and retains the Universal Championship but The Usos beat down on Zayn but then Kevin Owens comes out to the rescue.

SmackDown February 24th, 2023: before the show WWE announces on Twitter that Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will take on The Usos at WrestleMania on Night 1, a few hours later at 8PM Roman Reigns kicks off the show but he's not there with The Bloodline only Paul Heyman his wiseman "Your 2 weeks is up Dwayne, if you don't show up I will force you to come out of your little trailer and smash your ass to the arena" The Rock does appear but he appears via satellite and challenges Roman Reigns at WrestleMania but not only for the Bloodline for the Universal Championship then Roman Reigns accepts the challenge and Michael Cole the color-commentator announces that The Rock will return next week since the October 4th 2019 edition of SmackDown for their WrestleMania Contract Signing.

SmackDown March 3rd, 2023: the Main Event segment is here, The Rock returns receives a huge pop from the crowd, Roman Reigns then comes out both men have an intense stare-down as they both sit down, Roman Reigns then signs the contract "I'm going to embarrass you Infront of the whole world at WrestleMania and show why this is My WWE, My Yard I'm the Only Tribal Chief The Only Head of the Table" The Rock then lays the SmackDown on Reigns calling him a "want-to-be jackass who thinks he can run this place so that people can acknowledge him" as Rock signs the contract they both once again have a staredown as Roman raises up his Championship.

Life had become even more complex after the end of the war for Jon Moxley. Before the war, Jon had been nothing but a street tough. Jon had run with a group who called themselves The Switchblades. Jon’s brother Brandon and their mutual friend Sami Callihan had run the streets through fear and intimidation, wanting to get the respect that they felt had always been denied to them. As Jon had gotten older, he had found he wanted more. He wanted a chance to do something right, something good. When the war had started, Jon had thought that his something more was to join up. In a way, Jon had been right. He just hadn’t hit the nail on the head just yet. Jon had proven himself to be a capable soldier and, under the watchful eye of a man named Hunter Helmsley, Jon had been put in a covert team with two other men. Seth Rollins was a brainiac, though a bit religious, who was adept at codebreaking and espionage. The muscle of the team had been a silent but kind man named Leati Anoai. That was a name that Jon had known before the war, Anoai. The Anoai’s were one of the most feared crime families on his side of the seaboard. And Jon? Jon was a silent assassin, able to blend into the darkness around him with little effort. Together they had been called the S.H.I.E.L.D, dedicated to the rescue of those who needed it most. After the war had ended, Jon had made it home, though not without his scars. All three men had changed for their experiences. Seth had retreated into his religion even more, gathering a following of like-minded men who would do anything for him. Leati had been slighted by the government, and thus had retreated into the life of crime that he had so badly tried to escape. And Jon? Well, the term so many fancy doctors liked to throw around was shellshock. That was a fancy term for a list of things that he couldn’t control. Loud noises seemed to bring him to a state of near shut-down, seeming to bring him back to the horrors of his days in a trench. Those memories hit him again and again and again. It had stopped Jon from seeking out his brother and best friend, instead tending to stay to himself. Someone he had met since returning to the States had been a help, however. In fact, she had become so much more. Her name was Angel Michaels. Angel was a waitress at a small diner near the small apartment that Jon called his own. She was pretty, with long blonde hair usually pulled out of her soft blue eyes. Those eyes, however, betrayed her youth. Behind her eyes was darkness, proof that the woman knew more about the world around her than she let on. Jon had promised himself to find out what she hid, to make sure she didn’t bear that weight alone. Stops in the diner to see Angel had turned to dates. Dates had turned into meeting Angel’s daughter Brianna. Meeting Brianna had turned into Jon taking up as the father to a daughter he had never expected to be and as a husband he could never have dreamed he’d be. Angel had even shared the story of how she had become a single mother. Once in her life, Angel had been married to the son of a worthy oil tycoon, Ted DiBiase Jr. Ted had loved her in the beginning, but like many rich men who were not used to being told no, Ted had quickly grown bored and started to cheat. When Brianna had been born without the use of her legs, both DiBiase’s had quickly turned away from Angel and Brianna. Jon, in turn, had finally told someone else about his diagnosis. Jon found his confidant in his soulmate. He had assumed that was that, he and Angel would learn to live with their traumas. That was until Angel had come to him with an offer from a mentor of hers. William Regal was a well-to-do member of society who had two different sides. Most members of society knew William as an owner of a corner gym. The gym, known more widely as The Blackpool Combat Club, was a refuge for men who had served their countries and needed a place to express themselves. That, of course, was a front. In all actuality, The Blackpool Combat Club was an extension of the crime family that Regal fronted. The men who served The Club knew of these actions, but because of William’s acceptance of their pasts, the members were accepting of their positions. A circle of chairs had been set up in the gym, the members of the Club sitting together. There was the quiet, bearded Bryan Danielson who had lost one of his closest friends before losing one of his legs in the trenches. Claudio Castagnoli had left his neutral country to carry information as a multi-lingual spy, though he had since fallen in on himself. He had yet to confirm to the other members of the group why, but Jon recognized the look in his eyes. It finally felt like he had someone other than his Angel who would understand in these two men. “If you recall, them clouds ain’t really clouds at all,” Jon spoke up, clasping his hands to his knees as he spoke. “I saw ‘em in the battlefield. It…it’s mines. Can still hear ‘em when I’m sleepin’. I know I scare my kid sometimes. Can’t help that.” Angel placed a gentle hand on his shoulder, “Bri knows you would never hurt her. We both know…” “If I may, Angela,” William interrupted, “though young Mr. Moxley knows this, a part of himself will always be on edge. I was the same way with my Benjamin and my Anya. It cannot be helped.” Jon gave a soft nod, “His lordship is right. I-“ “It’s not shameful,” Bryan spoke up, his voice gruff, “Most men ain’t got the balls to admit what those places did t’ them. Me? You? Claudio? We’re different. We can look our pain in the eye, keep goin’.” Jon thumbed his nose, giving a sniff as if he could be moved to tears. He was stopped from speaking as two young men entered. Well, Jon was sure both were men. One was a little more feminine in the face, though in fashion they were masculine. Feeling Angel’s hand tighten on his shoulder, Jon could sense his wife’s feelings. These two were children, barely older than twenty at most. She had a need to protect, and Jon wondered if this was how Angel had once felt about him. “Jon…they…” “Is this Mr. Regal’s gym?” the baby-faced younger of the two figures spoke, “I…my brother Wheeler and I…” Jon stood, crossing over with a rough smirk, extending his hand. Angel’s thoughts had been his own and it hadn’t been until he joined this club that Jon had finally found what his duty in life was. His duty in life was to help others, to protect others. “You came to the right place. Welcome to the Blackpool Combat Club.”
