14. Yellow - Dani Núñez x Reader - The L Word Generation Q - Actors!AU
@purple-dahlias' Seven sentence fic July day 14: yellow
"Wow, the bruising looks so real, you can even see the colour change as it heals!" Jordi pointed out as she and Angie watched the most recent episode of the show you and Atlas were in together at Dana's that afternoon.
You grimaced as the bruise on your nose in the show was pointed out, fingers touching your nose at the memory that left Dani raising her eyebrow, realisation in her eyes as Atlas passed you a mug of tea, passing the other to Gigi, who took it with a soft smile.
"Wait, that bruise..." Dani gently reached out, glancing over the tv screen before her fingers hooked under your chin to cradle your face.
"It was an actual bruise, that scene where I get my nose busted? It actually got busted by accident as we were filming, it threw off the filming schedule but we managed to film in a way that it healed over the episodes... and when we did past episodes, hair and makeup saved me..." you whispered, lowering your voice so Angie and Jordi didn't hear any potential spoilers.
"Does Bette know they're seeing the episode here?" Gigi enquired, her attention on the scene as Atlas' character appeared on the scene.
"I texted Bette, and Angie said she did too, and you two talked to Tess and Shane, who are in the office..." Dani trailed off, biting her lip slightly as you snuffled a laugh, turning up the volume of the show quickly.
Two gasps had you and Atlas sharing knowing glances, looking at the screen as Angie and Jordi turned to the two of you, "cliffhanger, seriously?" and "do you know what happens next?" being immediately asked, leaving Atlas to playfully shrug as you gestured that your lips were sealed.

ok so I was thinking, since Tina and Bette chose Alice as Angie's godmother, it implies that somehow the person Alice is with becomes in a way part of the being godmother as well. So, if Dana had survived, Alice and Dana would be the godparents of Angie. It breaks my heart that Angie couldn't grow up with the presence of Dana. Imagine Dana being able to teach young Angie to play tennis, to be the goofy aunt, making Angie laugh and giving the greatest advices. Omg 😭

I'm hating this Angie/donor storyline.
If she has a half sister then she does has a father and by that I feel like she's invalidating her real parents and she keeps making them out to be the villains.
Like her donor didn't want her to know about him, not Bette and Tina, they promised the donor anonymity, they were just keeping their word to him.
And now she wants to give an organ to this guy that she never met before and if her mothers don't agree with her they are on the wrong? No, just no. Bette has every right to say no, that's a crazy idea.

The L Word: Generation Q Characters
Angelica “Angie” Porter-Kennard
"You know, my moms would always say I could be president or Supreme Court judge, but whenever anyone would ask me, like, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" I would say Snoopy. 'Cause I was four, and it seemed doable."
