SPN Angel Bang, anyone?

I’ve mentioned this to a few friends & groups around the SPN tumblr and discord sphere, but thought I’d officially post a potential interest check before getting too committed to the idea.

I’m thinking about organizing an angel-centric SPN Bang, with sign-ups/writing through the winter and posting sometime in the Spring. Something with both a mini-bang (minimum 5k words) and big-bang track, focusing on the angelic characters of Supernatural. Both gen and ship fic would be allowed.

Would anyone be interested in taking part in this? I’d love to hear from some artists & writers alike. I just think it would be neat to have a bang to showcase more creative work about all the various SPN angels and their relationships (though of course favorites like Castiel and Gabriel would be most welcome!)

There’s just something about the hypocrisy of hunters that’s so compelling. It’s not the killing that’s the problem for them: you just have to do violence on the right person, on behalf of families (not armies or ideals or angels or organizations like the Men of Letters), and you have to do it in the right way.

So many people fall for heaven's propoganda about angels it's devestating

I totally get exploring angels becoming humans as a Concept but when people insist that becoming human is the only way angels can experience things on earth like feeling emotions or hobbies or sensations, that's what heaven wants angels to believe!! They want angels to think of themselves as nothing but statues so they'd obey heaven's orders without doubt so they won't question higher orders but all angels are capable of feeling!!

Instead, like how lovely would it be if angels got to learn how to enjoy things they were forbidden from experiencing. We never see angels feeling forced to rip out their grace to experience happiness bc they're allowed to be. Breaking free of heaven's long-lasting propoganda that they're nothing more than soldiers. Angels unlearning millions of years of being gaslit into thinking they can't feel anything when they all do feel, so much
