After worship, we had our roadtrip and lifetalks on the way to Angelfield. Her learning time this afternoon is all about farm animals. We made sure to relate this all to the experience of Noah inside the ark where there were lots of animals they needed to feed and take care of. While having this mini fieldtrip at the place, we reminded Kiaree of Noah's obedience to God in building the ark, his diligence in laboriously building the ark, his patience in waiting for the rain to stop and the water to dry, and his thankfulness to God for sparing him and his family from the great flood. Four character qualities targeted in this short trip to the small farm. Kiaree may or may not be aware that she is already learning these character qualities just by playing with the farm animals. Clark and I learns a lot too in this homeschooling journey. God is so good!

Personaje independiente al universo escrito y creado por Trish Bendix, pero procedente de un reino aislado en Luna de Leyenda. Cada mundo creado por un Tinteherz tiene un reino similar dónde los Guardianes habitan ajenos a la historia creada, para este caso el reino es conocido como Tehishbaan.

❍ ¿𝑸𝒖𝒊𝒆́𝒏𝒆𝒔 𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝒍𝒐𝒔 𝒈𝒖𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒆𝒔? ❍

Nacidos independientemente del libro creado por un Tintenherz y anteriores a todo lo conocido por la humanidad, surgieron con las primeras briznas de magia escondidas en la tinta de la pluma de estos descendientes de brujos. Se componían de un total de cuatro linajes familiares: Woodhaven, Angelfield, Rudhale y por último, Spiderwick.

A estas cuatro familias se les encomendó la tarea de proteger con su vida al Tintenherz que fuesen asignados, permanecerían a su lado hasta que diesen su última bocanada de aliento y les acompañarían allá dónde fuesen, aunque implicase viajar entre mundos.

Con la erradicación de los Tintenherz tras la caza a la que se vieron sometidos hasta (casi) su desaparición, los guardianes se fueron extinguiendo paulatinamente y los descendientes de los linajes que una vez empuñaron un arma, se convirtieron en familias aristocráticas con un memorable pasado familiar detrás.

❍ 𝑺𝒖𝒔 𝒉𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒔  ❍

✧･ﾟ  Principal

Cada familia posee un arma destacada, los antiguos Spiderwick eran conocidos por ser célebres arqueros, por lo que la especialidad que adquirió desde niña fue el arco después de que su abuelo Digory le regalase uno en su sexto cumpleaños.  

Compuesto de un carcaj de marfil y cuero rojo que contiene en el interior una serie de flechas con un astil de la madera perteneciente al roble más antiguo de Luna de Leyenda, plumas rojas asociadas a una rara especie de wesen llamados Seltenvogel y de punta del mismo marfil que el carcaj.  La pluma de las flechas jamás fallan su objetivo gracias a su buena disciplina y constancia.

✧･ﾟ Otras

Son guerreros y llevan la batalla en su interior. Desde que cumplían seis años eran entrenados para no fallar en su empresa de proteger a los Tintenherz: entrenamientos que duraban jornadas y pruebas que agudizaban sus sentidos. Sus habilidades ya se encontraban innatas en la sangre, tan solo debían despertarlas.

┊ 𝐑𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐨 •••

Rodeada de riquezas creció en Tehishbaan, un antiguo y poderoso imperio sur a través de un desierto en Luna de Leyenda. Se trata de una gran ciudad erigida en una isla independiente al resto del reino y dónde el poder de los Tintenherz no llega al carecer de magia. Es un lugar cálido y lleno de gente, de calles estrechas y coloridas casas, magníficos palacios, jardines y frondosos bosques. Está construido sobre una pendiente natural encontrándose los palacios de las cinco familias en su cima. El palacio del linaje Spiderwick se describe como una edificación majestuosa que se abre a los jardines que van hasta el muro del río. Tashbaan está rodeado por un fuerte muro que se levanta fuera del agua al cual se llega por largos puentes a cada lado proporcionando el único lugar por donde cruzar el gran río de Calormen. Además, cuenta con mausoleos de las cuatro familias y las tumbas de los antiguos guardianes en el templo de Tash, situado al otro lado del río en el borde del desierto.

┊𝐇𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚  •••

Adalind se convirtió en una mujer alta y elegante de cabello negro y ondulado. Los reyes de los países más allá del mar comenzaron a enviar embajadores pidiendo su mano en matrimonio para su vigésimo cumpleaños, pero se negaba a ser parte de aquel mundo de apariencias. Si bien de Adalind se esperaba que contrajese matrimonio con algún aristócrata de las cuatro familias restantes; Ade, como se hacía llamar, poseía un corazón repleto de aventuras a lomos de su caballo, el carcaj al hombro y el arco en las manos.

Su propósito era muy distinto al que sus progenitores le tenían destinado, fue por ello que a escondidas entrenaba emulando a sus antepasados. Orgullosa de poseer el apellido Spiderwick y apoyada por su abuelo, Digory Kirke, quién le relataba desde que estaba en su cuna las grandes batallas y andanzas de los guardianes y sus protegidos los Tintenherz. Además, le contaba sus supuestas aventuras en las que siendo un adolescente, había viajado por distintos reinos fuera de Luna de Leyenda gracias al único lugar con verdadera magia escondido en el reino de Tehishbaan: El bosque entre los mundos*.

Años más tarde sabría que la existencia de este lugar no eran meras leyendas  que su abuelo le relataba y que el algún lugar fuera de Luna de Leyenda, había una joven que necesitaba su ayuda: su protegida y la última Tintenherz con vida (Trish Bendix). Un peligro inminente la acechaba, si ella había sido consciente de su despertar otros males lo habrían hecho por igual. Fue así cómo tras sentir aquella conexión supo que tenía que llegar a ella y la única forma para atravesar los mundos era encontrar el reino de los portales ocultos en El bosque entre los mundos, dónde cada estanque era un portal a un reino distinto, entre ellos la tierra.*

Sus planes se terminarían viendo frustrados, viajar a través de los estanques no era tan sencillo como limitarse a introducirse en ellos. Fue así como en vez de acabar en la tierra terminó en Sanctum para sorpresa del Dr. Strange, quién la ayudó finalmente a lograr su objetivo de reunirse junto a Trish.

┊𝐎𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐬 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬 •••

✧･ﾟ  Tras su llegada a Nueva York se dio cuenta de que aquel mundo era muy distinto al suyo. Los caballos allí eran coches, los bosques grandes avenidas asfaltadas y el único pedazo verde era Central Park: uno de esos lagos es un portal que comunica con El bosque entre los mundos. En la actualidad y tras dos años en el Nuevo mundo o la Tierra, se ha ido adaptando mejor y casi parece pasar desapercibida aunque su forma de hablar y sus costumbres parezcan extrañas a ojos ajenos.

✧･ﾟ  Después de vivir con Trish a escondidas en la residencia a la que se mudó al llegar a Nueva York, decidieron mudarse a otro lugar. Un apartamento de tamaño minúsculo, con vistas a Brooklyn en una zona medianamente conflictiva y totalmente opuesta a los lujos a los que estaba acostumbrada en palacio.  El apartamento incluía un a cría de gato abandonada de colores negros y blancos a la cual adoptaron y de la que Ade se hace cargo llevándola a todos lados. Trish le llamó Berly, diminutivo de Berlioz, procedente de los Aristogatos.

✧･ﾟ Experta en hierbas medicinales, siente curiosidad por las existentes en la tierra y en el tiempo en el que no está con la joven Tintenherz, lo aprovecha para investigar en los botánicos de la ciudad. Es en un invernadero donde ayuda la mayor parte del tiempo, no gana dinero, pero al menos le permite realizarse y no perder la cabeza. A su vez siente fascinación por los insectos, en especial las abejas, encargándose de la parte de la apicultura del invernadero donde colabora. 

✧･ﾟ Su bebida favorita es la hidromiel y su juego favorito el ajedrez, pero sin duda si algo ha descubierto de la tierra que ha captado su atención son las películas. También sabe tocar algún que otro instrumento musical siendo la flauta de pan el más destacado, ya que acostumbraba a tocar en palacio para sus invitados.
