Guess what? I'm back with another Alice lives AU:

So it starts with Andy finding out about Nica earlier, he found out about her just as her trial was starting. He tried to testify but wasn't allowed due to having no direct link to her, from that he also found out about Alice but wasn't allowed to be her guardian at that point for the same reason he couldn't testify. Andy did however, manage to visit Alice and her paternal grandmother, he explained to them how he didn't believe that Nica was guilty and, when her grandmother was making drinks for them, Andy told Alice the truth about Chucky and warned her not to trust him if he turned up. He gave a more 'realistic' explanation to Alice's grandmother and left his phone number for them to call if they thought the people he suspected did the killings were close by.

Obviously, Chucky does turn up and Alice runs after finding her grandmother dead, taking the note with Andy's number with her and after calling him, he starts the process of adopting her. Over the next four years, Alice is raised by Andy along with Kyle, Karen and Mike.

Kyle, Mike and Karen do know about Andy trying to help Nica and prove her innocent. Alice even has her own room at Karen and Mike's house where she stays with them when Andy goes to Lochmoor/Harrogate since it can be a long drive.

Alice is the only person aside from Andy who knows about the Chucky head but mostly stays in her room when he is out of the safe since she is still kind of afraid and feels guilty for believing him.

Alice is staying with Mike and Karen when Andy attempts to rescue Nica from Chucky, with Kyle basically on standby if Andy is gone for too long so she can go after him.

The events of Cult are pretty much the same and Andy and Kyle end up returning and having to give Alice the bad news that they couldn't get to her aunt in time. Andy does however, promise Alice that if there is even the smallest chance Nica is still in there with Chucky possessing her, he will do everything he can to find a way to get her back.

This basically, leads into Season 1 (taking place 2 weeks after Cult) but Alice insists on joining Andy and Kyle on their mission...

Rafael Nadal was a loyal companion to Roger Federer in the last day of his professional career. Although he shied away from the spotlight, his presence was constant, from playing alongside Federer in his last match to steadily supporting him for the rest of his retirement ceremony. Here are a few moments that the cameras missed:

Nadal comforted Federer silently from the back when the latter burst into tears after embracing his other teammates post-match.

During the ceremony, Nadal, who was highly emotional, stood at the back of his other teammates to grieve in private, avoiding the camera.

Post-match, Nadal moved his gear bag from the players' bench he shared with Federer to the team area, giving Federer the opportunity to enjoy his last moments courtside privately.

Federer afterwards went back to stand beside him, seeking comfort as both watched a tribute video to his career being played out.

After the highly emotional on-court interview, Federer, who's still struggling to control his tears, received another comforting embrace from Nadal.

Accompanying Federer on the bench, Nadal turned his face away when his partner began openly crying, equally moved to tears.

Federer held Nadal's hand in a gesture he later admitted as a silent thank you for accompanying him throughout the most difficult day of his career.

Nadal, once again choosing to stay behind his teammates, hid his face in his arms, weeping as he witnessed Federer embraced his family.

Nadal and Mirka Federer (Roger's wife) comforted each other and shared a supportive embrace.

At the end, Federer waited for Nadal, who was the last one in the stadium, to do his final walk off the court with him arm in arm.

Although Nadal later admitted he didn't want to cry or be on camera originally "because it was his (Federer's) moment", Federer only held it all in fond memories, saying he will never forget what Nadal did for him that day. Nadal, who was awaiting the birth of his child with his wife in the hospital, came out of his initial injury break, practiced intensively to prepare for their match, and flew out to London for one day just for Federer.

He was alongside Federer from his last practice, his last presser, his last preparation, to his last walk on and off court in a gentle silence, always there but never standing in his way.

For the pair who shared almost 20 years of life-defining rivalry, it was perhaps the only way of an end imaginable: a wordless comfort, an indescribable need to share the burden and lessen the unfathomable grief;

For it was one who left but two who buried a soul.

Junior would totally be entirely overexcited to give the twins their gifts.

As we've said before, Nica surprised them with a cake each that was their favourite flavours, and Andy decorated the cabin.

Grandma Karen, Grandpa Mike, and Aunt Kyle also came to surprise them later on in the day. 🥺

ANGSTY/Heartwarming FIC INCOMING!

After a year, Nica is reunited with the rest of her kids.

Nica was scared. There was no other way of putting it.

As she sat in her husband's car, her other children in the backseats, she couldn't stop thinking of her younger ones that waited at their grandparents' home, waiting to be reunited after a long, horrible year.

She'd missed birthdays, Halloween, Easter, Christmas, school recitals, club meetings. She'd been out of all of her kids' lives, trapped in a home with a serial killer who hasld some sick idea of love.

And now she was coming back, to see her younger ones again.

Andy, Glen, and Glenda had told her things, how the two of them would want to go put out missing fliers, how they still made her Christmas presents, how they would constantly ask if there was a shred of news about her- it broke her heart.

And now she was coming back different. Her arms and legs gone, her hair not having any of the curls it once had, new scars covering her body from Chucky's possession. Would they even recognize her-

A hand on her shoulder jolted her from her thoughts- it was Glen, who was seated behind her. "Mom! Oh sorry! I didn't mean to scare you!"

"No no, don't worry honey, I'm fine. Uh, what's up?" Nica looked back at the twins, who now seemed to be sharing a glance, until Glenda turned to her and answered. "Uh, are you okay? I mean, I know you're not OKAY, but are you, you know, "okay"? About... All this?"

The twins had grown up with their mother since they were pre-teens, and knew her facial expressions. At least that part hadn't changed about her.

Nica gave a nod. "Uh yeah, I'm doing okay. Just ready to see Mikey and Maggie, you know?"

Glenda gave a suspicious nod, before Glen put a hand on their mom's shoulder. "You're gonna do fine mom. They've missed you just as much as we have."

The twins had almost tackled Nica when they first saw her again, bawling and clinging to her like she might disappear again. Andy, even while injured, grabbed her and squeezed her tight, both of them crying in each other's arms.

Nica smiled a little bit. This thought was... Comforting. How much everyone had missed her. But.... Maggie was a pre-teen and Mikey was in elementary school. Would they react the same way?

Andy piped up from his driver side. "Like we said, babe, they do already know about your prosthetics. We wouldn't put that on them or you, just finding out out of nowhere." His hand gently touched Nica's leg to comfort her. She didn't feel it, but it was still nice to see her husband's love.

Nica sighed out, her prosthetic hook gently tapping Glen's hand out of thanks. "Thank you guys. I just... I know this is gonna be hard for them, and that's the last thing I want."

Then Nica looked out the windshield and realized- oh shit, they were already there.

Mike and Karen's one story house sat in a nice neighborhood, a garden up front and a decent sized backyard, and a nice garage and driveway to park into. Nica recognized Kyle's car parked in the driveway, and knew Mike and Karen's were in the garage.

It looked the same as she'd last been there...

The front porch with the ramp made just for her was still perfectly cared for, the grass nicely cut. It felt like home already.

The twins hopped out of the car and got out Nica's chair and Andy got out to help Nica herself into it.

At this point her heart was pounding, and she felt herself nervously shake as she looked to her husband. Andy pressed a kiss to her forehead to ease her worries "It's gonna be okay." He whispered. It should have comforted her, but she was still nervous as all hell.

The mother began to slowly roll out of the driveway, her twins and husband behind her as she made her way to the ramp- and then something banged from inside the house. Like a herd of elephants had just ran through the Norris' living room. A yell from what she recognized as Mike called for someone to be careful, and then-

The front door opened. And out ran her babies.

Both of them had gotten taller, Nica recognized that. Maggie still wore her precious beanie, though she has grown into it a bit more. Mikey's curls were disheveled, as if he had been brushing his hair the moment they'd arrived, but given up on it for this.

It was silent for a second of shock, just a second, enough for Nica to see the tears in Mikey's eyes before Maggie broke it with a scream of joy.

"MOM!!! MOMMY!!!!" And both kids rushed into her, hugging her and bursting into tears.

And with that, Nica broke. Tears spilled down her cheeks as she held her babies close, showering them with kisses and "I missed you"s and "I love you"s.

Soon within a minute Kyle, Mike, and Karen came out and joined them, giving Nica and the other family members hugs of joy over finally being reunited.

And as Nica felt the arms of everyone she loved around her, she knew she was home, and wondered what she'd been worrying about.

Okay, so I just found out that Summer (Alice) has been in a movie with Devon Sawa before and now I can't stop thinking of an AU where Alice survived and befriends the kids in season 1 as she is trying to stop Chucky.

I'm thinking Alice found her grandmother before Chucky possessed her and ran away. Andy found out about a girl claiming that a doll was after her and made the connection to Nica. He managed to get guardianship over Alice with the help of Karen, Mike, and Kyle, and at that point, Alice obviously knew the truth about what happened.

There was still a lot of trouble with Andy trying to visit Nica, and essentially, the plot of Cult happens. Except Andy gets to the door before NicaChucky closes it and knocks her out.

Anyway, over the next 4 years, they found a way to free Nica from possession. She has been reunited with Alice and is staying at the cabin with her and Andy. (Nica and Andy may or may not start dating at some point)

We end up in the fall of 2021, and Nica and a now 16 year old Alice are with Andy and Kyle as they hunt down Chuckys. Alice takes it upon herself to sneak into the middle school to see if her 'Auntie Rachel' has spotted anything unusual. (Rachel is friends with Nica, Andy and, Kyle and knows that she is innocent but wasn't told about Chucky being a living doll for her own safety)

Basically, I was getting to the point that Alice befriends the kids once she finds out they know something and advises them to warn Junior and include him. She eventually ends up meeting the teens parents (Michelle, Nathan, Bree, Logan, Kim) and immediately takes a dislike to both Michelle and Logan.

Alice has totally developed Nica (and Andy's) attitudes and will absolutely use that against Logan and Michelle.

From interviews with team Europe's players (e.g. Andy, Cam) it seems that after the ceremony and all the press on Friday, Roger gave a special speech only to his teammates in the locker room, and he was very emotional there. Cam mentioned he had a special message for everyone in the team and Andy mentioned Rafa also spoke which got him very emotional.

Then they all partied hard and were hungover on Saturday lol.
