Huge thanks to runby2 for letting me dub their comic! Please go support them, he makes great stuff! This is one of my favorite Ace attorney fan comics. I know the sound quality on my voice is bad and I said the wrong word at one point but I did my best. I hope I did it justice (no pun intended).

Apollo looks determined at the floor with his arms crossed as he says “Klavier, I have to tell Kristoph that I am trans. I know you said if he hired me he already knows but,,, I want to be honest with my mentor!” Klavier, standing next to him and looking worried, waves his hands and says “nein,,,, nein forehead,,,” Apollo looks worriedly at Klavier and says “wait is he ,, transphobic??” Klavier responds “nein,, it’s just,, confusing-“ Apollo says back “then I want to tell him, klav! There is nothing you can tell me that I do not already know.” Apollo points confidently as he says “well, actually sir, how about THIS?” He then grabs his bicep and looks concerned as he says “I’m transgender” with a voice crack. All three of them are silent for a moment. Kristoph says “but, you ARE a man, yes?” Apollo looks worried as he says “well- yes! … technically -“ Kristoph interrupts “no.” Apollo questions “I- ‘no ‘?” Kristoph clarifies “you ARE a man, Apollo.” Apollo smiles and says “I- !! Oh! Thank you, sir!” Kristoph continues “thank god you’re not a woman. I despise women.” Apollo looks shocked and dumbfounded. Klavier silently puts his hand on Apollo’s shoulder while Apollo looks confused. Kristoph continues “that is why I too, became a man.” Apollo, curious and emboldened, exclaims “wow! Wait! Mr. Gavin, you were born ‘a girl’ too?” Kristoph responds “no. I was born a man. Keep up.” Apollo looks even more confused and Klavier looks away disappointed as Kristoph continues “I chose to become a woman to fully understand what it was like to become a woman. i choose my fate, justice. then when i fully understood what it meant to be a woman, i became a man again. that is why i am the best defense attorney, because i have conquered all gender and i fully understand what it means, to be both a misogynist and hate men. NEVER. assume you know more than me,, justice. i chose you for a reason.” Apollo replies “what abt nonbinary ppl,,” Kristoph looks smugly to the side before saying “‘nonbinary’… hahhah… Justice,,, do you SERIOUSLY think that I am a man, RIGHT NOW?” Kristoph turns to flash a smug smile with two fingers by his eyes as he says “i am more than a man and a woman. I identify as a man solely to fool the idiots who do not understand the spectrum of human existence. i chose YOU, justice, because you understand what it means to become more than what you were born as. I, right now, am a god among men. My gender has evolved past that of a simple male, or a simple female. I understand the binary and I use it to my advantage. I have both joined and fought against the bigots that run this government, yet they could not track me as I did so. I have handled what you understand as the gender binary and distorted it like a fine clay. That is what it means to be a lawyer. 21. Did you ever read fanfictions? Which one is your personal recommendation?

Sorry it took so long! It took me a while to get everything in order, but here it is.

So fun fact: Whenever I read a fic I love I book mark it with the note j'adore so I can read it again later. Some of them get this note preemptively. I also tend to go through a tag on ao3 in date posted ascending order so I start with the oldest and work my way forward so I don't potentially miss anything, but I haven't made it all the way through some tags that I would like to. If there's a fic you think I would like that's not on here, I probably just haven't gotten to it yet! (Most of the newer ones on here I found through Tumblr.)

Also! I'm pretty sure any of the ones that involve smut I have marked as such, but please check the tags on the actual fic before reading! I am not responsible for what content you choose to consume!

That being said, here is Ace's All Time Best Fic Rec List (AATBFRL for short):

Nobody Can Just Say What They Mean (Series)- The first fic is Narumitsu and the second is Klapollo and I think about them allllll the time, especially Things Are As They Are altered me on a microscopic level. Rocks are just rocks, you know? (Narumitsu, Klapollo)

undeniable you (the currents pulling me onward)- Idk what to say. Kristoph Gavin dies in prison and Klavier is suspect #1. Apollo flies back to defend him and yaoi happens. I'm a sucker for Klav getting all scrungled up.

fame vs infamy (the price of writing fanfic out of spite)- It's a crack fic. It's funny. 10/10 would recommend. (Klapollo)

The Definition Of Home- And there was only one bed?!?!?!?!?! What?!?!?!?! And there was a little angst in the bed?!?!?!?!?! Unbelievable. Actually the angst was on the couch, the bed made it better. (Klapollo)

13 Hours- This fic keeps popping up in my fever dreams. I'm not even kidding. I didn't have it bookmarked the first time around but when I found it again, I was like 'oh, I know this one! It haunts my dreams!' and immediately slapped a j'adore on it. Airport Klapollo getting together.

Dig Enough Graves- This one is still being put out, it's a Klapollo roleswap and I love it. I get so excited when I see it's updated. So many things are happening and we have clues and I'm gonna figure it out, ok? *boston accent* I'm sleuthin 'ere! (rated M for violence and sex reasons)

stop the presses (series)- V funny. Apollo works as a columnist and writes thirst essays about KlavGav and gets a date out of it. I am very impressed with the coding used to make this look the way it does.

And if my wishes could all come true- I have reread this one a couple times. I think about it a lot. It is genuinely so funny and makes me feel all sorts of things. I love pre-relationship klapollo divorce complete with alimony while they were not not dating but actually not dating, Apollo you can't just assume that.

Nothing Like This Feeling- Apollo top suregery fic with a dash of Klapollo!

Turnabout Dishwasher- For when you get the hankering for a 422.6k work of art. It's like three fics in one that happen concurrently, which doesn't sound like a description that makes sense unless you read it. There are so many characters here, and shipping is part of it but it's also a whole lot of everything else. These characters are actually living and you get to take a look see. (klapollo, blackmadhi, wrightworth, look just read the tags on the fic there's so much going on)

Such Terrible Tales- A gorgeous magic filled AU with a focus on the casts of aa5 and aa6 and fun cameos from Investigations (so far). This fic is still on going and I would def recommend reading it as it comes out! I love trying to figure out the lore and what will happen next! This fic kind of pulls me off my hinges lol. (blackmadhi)

You Wear Stripes, Too?- Apollo and Klav come out to each other as trans and nb respectively.

Things Best Shared- Klav teaches Apollo guitar.

For A Bad Time Call Simon Blackquill- Iconic blackmadhi fic. I think about it all the time. V funny fake dating au with bits of angst.

Last Resort- And they were roommates! Blackmadhi roommates with lots of healing and shenanigans.

Dating for a Turnabout- Narumitsu fake dating for a case. Larry is there doing Larry things. Franziska did it to them bc she is very smart and cool.

Vacation All I Ever Wanted- I think about this sooooooo much. Tagline: One condo. Six lawyers. Seven secret plans. What could possibly go wrong? (klapollo, narumitsu, athena blackquill and trucy are there)

Alternative Dispute Resolution- Apollo makes Klavier talk to Mr. Wright before they can start dating. It's awkward (and funny) and Trucy is a delight.

Turn(about) my words- The fic where I realized I instinctively start laughing when someone gets shot. He's fine. uhhh narumitsu, phoenix got shot of course bc why wouldn't he and found family stuff.

You're Alive (And that's the only thing that truly matters.)- Klavier gets poisoned and Edgeworth tells the nurses Apollo is his partner so he can get in to see him. Turns out I don't laugh at poisonings, only shootings.

Dog Days- Apollo and Trucy go to another Gavinners concert and Polly misinterprets everything all the time.

Reckless Endangerment- One of the funniest klapollo get togethers. Pollo insults him real good while he's standing behind him, klav thinks about going abroad to study, phoenix has prosecutor going abroad ptsd, apollo might actually be into the gavinners, or at least the titular member.

Good Advice- Klavier Gavin makes categorically bad decisions in the face of love. (klapollo)

Hot For Justice- klavgav gets a muse, guess who?

Rules for Dating a Rockstar Prosecutor- klapollo first date that literally everyone is more invested in than Apollo (until he actually goes).

The Things We Do For Gym Access- Fake dating so Apollo can use the gym at Klav's place until the one he normally goes to gets fixed. Except they're actually really into each other and it's killing me everyday it's killing me I'm dead I'm dying they're so dense and in love and can't figure out why they haven't been caught and it's bc they actually feel like that and on top of pretend dating are pretending to date each other to themselves just kiss istg. Rated Explicit for sexual reasons.

The Walk to Tomorrow- Narumitsu doing Narumitsu things.

Legal Partners- Oooooooo this one! I also think about this one a lot. Narumitsu and klapollo and everyone is idiots they're all idiots. Klav and Edgeworth make a stupid, stupid bet about who has the more meaningful connection with their preferred defense attorney. I love this type of fic.

Turnabout Rubesville- Edgeworth gets accused of murder in a small town bc he's a grump. Phoenix sorts it out.

You Ever Been In Love?- Everyone gets way too involved in making Wrightworth happen, and it goes horribly until it goes right.

Gravity- Rated Explicit for sex reasons. Tbh I really like the oc. She's real cool. def read the tags for trigger warnings. (klapollo)

The soul truth (and nothing but the truth)- Franmaya! There's some spirit medium shenanigans and Lang is a bro.

Exorcism- Klapollo AU aa4 rewrite Kitty is a doll I love her these boys are unhinged look they have a conspiracy closet ok? Rated E for sex reasons.

Play Your Cards Right- Narumitsu agree to go on a date and shake hands about it. Rated E for sex reasons.

Hostile Environments (Series)- Justquill Shenanigans

satisfaction brought him back- Justquill Simon gets turned into a cat. I love fics where someone gets turned into a cat. There aren't a lot but it is a trope I enjoy. I've def read this one a couple times.

Stripped- Klapollo impending. Apollo is also secretly a stripper. Idk if this fic will ever get finished but I liked everything in it.

Curiosity Created the Cat- Klapollo impending. Also not finished and maybe never will be and only 3 chapters but in this one Klav gets turned into a cat. I'm sorry.

if it's really me you seek- Klapollo. I'm just going to post the official summary bc I j'ador'ed it but I don't remember exactly which one this is: Or, when Apollo comes home from Khura'in only to learn that Prosecutor Gavin is avoiding him, the last thing he expected was for Gavin to offer to let Apollo stay at his house while he looks for a new apartment.

(Initial ask: Do you have any headcanons about two random aa characters who had never met/interacted in canon but you like to think that they’re related in your hc? (Idk if you get it so uhh i’m willing to explain more later on if you don’t get my question))

ok ok that's what i thought (and hoped because yes i totally do!!) here are some:

-Klavier and Franziska German perfectionistic worsties who initially hate each others' guts but eventually become surprisingly close and gossip about their coworkers/clients together

-Edgeworth and Phoenix made the mistake of introducing Maya and Kay and immediately regretted it when they became best friends and got kicked out of a restaurant for stealing food from the kitchen

-i have this weirdly specific headcanon that when Edgeworth introduces Phoenix to Lang, they both have a 'holy shit' moment because they realize they've met before. i think Lang went abroad and took a class at Phoenix's university or smth like that and that was when they met. (i think either they couldn't stand each other or they had a fling and i can't decide which would be funnier)

-Lana Skye and Iris Hawthorne met in prison and became friends

-Klavier and Sebastian graduated the prosecutor's course at Themis in the same year so they almost certainly knew each other. i think they would have a really hilarious/fun dynamic, especially if you add the others around their age, like Kay and Ema, to the mix. also on a more serious note they were both gaslighted and manipulated as a teenager by an older relative that they trusted so that's a point of commonality as well

-Ron and Desiree DeLite became friends with Gumshoe and Maggey and the two couples regularly go out to dinner/go bowling/etc together. they make for an extremely chaotic and accident-prone group but they all have a good time. it helps that Dessie can charm them out of any sticky situation they get into. also i think if both couples end up having a kid/kids they would be best friends and basically grow up with two sets of very loving parents

-Klavier and Athena bond over having terrible taste in music and being trans. Apollo hates it when they hang out because they build off each others' mischievous energy and tease him twice as much. also they speak German so he can't understand what they're saying and it drives him bonkers (sorry for all the klav. he is my fav if you couldn't tell)

-Maya and Franziska being Trucy's doting aunts!! i haven't finished SOJ yet so idk if/how much Maya and Trucy interact there but. this is something i think about often

You gotta know that there'll always be some fuck up men when you're just a nobody band.

Nobody band held a live in a nobody California livehouse, which suits perfectly. The light was dim, the crowd was lack of interest someway, everything was just not in the Mr.Right style. (what? not that Mr.Right, don't think too much.)

My band was kinda used to this situation, if I had to tell the truth, we played our splendid music and the livehouse paid us, that can be a deal, contract even. However, that day was maybe meant to be different. Then I noticed a guy weaved his way across the crowd, nein, nothing 'bout that people would even care to stand and listen to our music intoxicatedly, it was just something mattered to his style - that style truly is my family through my career, that not-going-to-change style, criminal, drugster style.

Call it a D.A. instinct, for then I witnessed him pulling a bottle of pills out and talking to the girl next to him, they were nearly only an inch below my stage, even less.

For some kinda morality or I simply did not wanna my band's live trans into a drug party, but whatever.

"No drugs here." I grabbed the mic, nevertheless he won't listen to me. Of course! Why would he?

"DO. NOT." I said again. And he showed his middle finger like a fuck-u posture and I saw that youngling was about to take that pill.

Just a single second later I got rid of my guitar and left it roughly on the stage. Somewhat I was glad I didn't choose to bring my fave one today, 'cause that I'm certainly going to regret after all this. But right now, I don't give a shit.

I jumped right to that guy, from the stage, just like diving. Might astonish my teammates? Egal was soll's, but I heard my drummer shout something like "KLAV!!" while Daryan solo for a few sentences, definitely. God his solo sucks.

And yep, I punched him straight on his face and I think I did break a few teeth of him because the bleed just leaked out of the corner of his mouth. And he punched me and I punched him, punches, punches, punches, balabala... Until the hooter rang through California's night. I gonna leave an "Opps." here, ja, I can be a boring guy sometimes.

Daryan didn't say a word while that goddamn police took me away. Fine, wonder what you guys can do without your first guitarist and perfect singer. Nein, I knew he's not going to leave and I won't lose my D.A. place and I'm NOT going to pay that fucking impolite dude damages.

So it even took him a while to get me out of this damn place. Whatever, I thought it might be better to hold our future lives in our popedom. At least in that way police won't be a trouble. Never.

"Screw u. " I said. Kicking a stone away， leaving that lockup behind.

Daryan didn't seem to be mad as usual. Shrugs. I guessed he wanna say something like ur welcome but he said,

"That was a freaking good sucker punch."

aah, thank you, thank you! Today's been okay :)

Sexuality Headcanon: Queer. Initially he went with ‘gay’ (more on this in ‘gender’, below), but I’ve reassessed this in light of my fav Klav RPer writing him as a he/they enby. Apollo had some Thoughts about this, considered it for a while, internalised everything because it was his thing to deal with without putting any pressure on his partner and because of course he did he’s Apollo Justice, and eventually decided ‘queer’ works for him.

Gender Headcanon: Trans man. Mostly stealth, although not out of shame - more just that it’s nobody else’s damn business. He does the odd bit of pro bono for the LGBTQIA+ community, and volunteers now and then at a local charity, although he tends to lean more into being gay or queer if it’s ever questioned what his connection to the community is, rather than coming out. (Which he did right before going to college, by the way.)

A ship I have with said character: Klapollo is one of my OTPs (which is sort of an oxymoron, given the ‘o’ stands for ‘one’, but I’m rolling with it and you all can deal). It takes them a while to get things sorted out, partially because Klav is always just a little bit in show mode and that messes with Apollo’s perception. Once he understands how much he can trust them, it’s not unknown for the bracelet to come off at home.

A BROTP I have with said character: Clay Terran 5ever. I headcanon they had a confused little brief teenage romance at about the age of 14-15, because their best friend feels got sort of confused and mixed up, but quickly realised they prefer being, and are better as, the bestest besties, and went back to that without any drama.

A NOTP I have with said character: Apollo/Phoenix. Phoenix is his boss and kind of older brother/father(?) figure (right down to screwing up big time now and then) and I just can’t see it.

A random headcanon: Has perfect pitch. Hates it. Klavier (whose relative pitch is phenomenal, but not actual perfect pitch) is filthy jealous.

General opinion of said Character: I prefer writing Klav to Apollo if I’m RPing, though I can do both, which is saying something; usually I have a very strong preference for one side of the pairing, to the point of finding myself pretty much unable to write the other half. Which I guess means this angry little mess of a man went and stole my heart. Damn you, Apollo Justice. I suppose that’s, well… fine. ;)

my favorite name hc is that klavier (regardless what gender you see them as they definitely changed their name) and athena (trans woman of all time) have the same lame ass dead name. i also like to go further and say that klav was a trans woman for a small amount of time in hs before he decided it wasn't for him and detransed, and when he was a woman he was very very close to naming himself athena. athena hears about this and laughs for two weeks.

the character everyone gets wrong

maybe its a boring answer but phoenix. good god do people just Not understand him. i think the fact weve seen him in so many forms (feenie, trilogy, 7yg, aa5/6) makes it hard for people to get a pin on him, but thats the thing: u cant really get a pin on someone like that. too often i see stuff where, well into his thirties and having gotten his badge back, people portray him as just as outwardly emotional (and sometimes emotionally volatile...) as he was when he was dating dahlia, and Thats Simply Not The Case, especially after how guarded and jaded he became during aa4. hes SUCH a complicated character i cant even go into specifics and try to give other examples, because they each require paragraphs of their own explaining context and nuance in what goes through his head. i dont know how else to go on, just know that i am the only person who is correct about phoenix wright, and if anyone requires consultations for fic or art, my fee is steep but fair

8. common fandom opinion that everyone is wrong about

all of them. no im kidding, uhhhhh hm. i guess that klavier and apollo Immediately knew they liked each other/were attracted to each other and spent any time pining for the others affection during aa4. i like klapollo as a ship, i just dont think klav teasing apollo with flirtation when they first meet means he was Seriously Flirting with apollo, i think its possible there was a base physical attraction but he was mostly just trying to get apollos goat for fun since he was a rookie attorney. and because of that, what reason does apollo have to be drawn to klavier? apollo isnt some stock tsundere, i think he probably was really annoyed by klavier and Didnt Like Him All That Much at first. plus, with aa4s story being what it is, i just dont think any romantic feelings are on either of their minds until well after the last case. with their ship, i like to imagine they start as professional adversaries (not rivals in the sense phoenix and miles are rivals, its a different vibe), then become friends, THEN graduate to exploring other feelings

10. worst part of fanon

all of it. no im kidding, the worst part of fanon is how rigidly people expect u to obey it. if u dont portray miles as a gay trans man, people look at u weird, for example. which isnt to say that its Bad to follow that fanon, obviously i also think hes gay (i dont personally headcanon him as trans though) but just that it is fanon. until we get concrete proof in a game or anime or what have u of miles demonstrating or naming his sexuality/gender expression, it is just as perfectly valid to portray him as a cishet man as it is to portray him as a gay trans man, even if i personally think its weird and impossible to imagine him with a girlfriend or something. its fine to have different interpretations of whatever; its Not fine to get mad at somebody because theyre not following fanon that u personally ascribe to

obviously nothing wrong with mlm ships, i have been known to enjoy many mlm ships! but when a wlw (particularly a lesbian...) complains about the disproportionate amount of mlm fan content between characters who literally never spoke, stood next to each other once, or where one of them is literally Not A Character (clay terran is a prop i am not wrong about that), its SO FRUSTRATING to see the response be someone taking it as a personal attack and throwing the blame back out at wlw for not just shutting up and dealing with it. that post that showed among us had significantly more mlm fics over wlw fics on ao3 when Those Stupid Creatures Dont Even Have Gender/Character applies to like literally every other fandom

any situation in which phoenix depends on miles for money during 7yg. similarly, royalty/medieval au where phoenix is some kind of servant to prince miles, and yes being a knight counts as being a servant in my mind. these two things feel wayyyyy imbalanced to me but in fanworks theyre portrayed as like necessary and appreciated by phoenix (in the money situation) or really romantic (in the royalty/medieval situation). idk, to me, phoenix would rather saw off his own arm and eat it than accept money, especially from miles, during 7yg, and if he did accept it it would only be because miles says 'let me do this for trucy then if ur gonna be so stubborn about it' and he Begrudgingly Agrees; with phoenix being miless knight, it just feels too much like people seeing phoenixs one-sided devotion to miles in aa1 and going 'this is normal and desirable behavior', and idk how to tell people this but phoenixs savior complex over miles is Not Good fjkdsjlfslak like it worked out for them but i dont think phoenixs behavior towards miles in aa1 especially is indicative of a well adjusted, emotionally stable person, and that hardly ever gets talked about its just 'wee wah hes soooo in luuuuurve isnt that romantic'

The Great Ace Attorney Replay: Dual Destinies, Case 3, Part 3

Okay, so as we all know this case has a bad case of the genders

BUT I’ve sort of found a way to headcanon Robin as a trans girl, since it makes EVERYTHING said about her actually make fucking sense. like “I was raised as a boy to become a prosecutor but I didn’t want to be” who would actually do that to a cis girl in this day and age? They’d just tell her to become a prosecutor! It only makes sense if she’s saying she was dmab. It makes everything- her shame surrounding her attraction to girls close, her very performative masculinity- make more sense.

(and look, I’m aware the cultural context is different in Japan, but this has been localized, so I feel fine applying my American viewpoint to it)

SO HERE’S MY INTERP- Robin was DMAB, but she always knew she was a girl,. obvs. However, she was very afraid of rebelling against her parents so never really expressed this. When she went off into boarding school, she managed to get top surgery in secret and started taking HRT. However, to hide this from her parents, she used the weird brace thing, faked a deeper voice and said it was a masculine training brace to further please them.

Then Athena heard her inner voice etc and she felt comfortable finally revealing this in court.

THERE, FIXED. Well, not entirely fixed bc there’s still a lot of gender stereotyping going on w/ how exaggerated Robin is and Athena outing her in court obvs isn’t good- but it would be more okay on Athena’s part if Athena was under the impression she was cis, which she seemed to be- and fortunately it all worked out. Robin was already planning to “reveal herself” even before this, as we find out later on.

ANYWAY MOVING ON

Athena: The court will notice this is different from the selective hearing men are so good at! Apollo: I think you’re right, but what was that last part? Athena: Never mind. Anyway-

I adore her. I also love how Apollo kind of immediately proves her right.

Blackquill: The person you’d like to save more than anyone in the world? I’m willing to bet your defense isn’t what they desire.

Athena: B-B-But! I became a lawyer so I could-!

oooh foreshadowiiiiiing

Athena: If he thinks I’m going to give up now, he has another thing coming!

anyway we end the trial with EVERYONE CONFESSING will the REAL SLIM SHADY PLEASE STAND UP

so it’s off to the next investigation day and Junie wants to switch lawyers since she wants to clear her friends names too. Prof. Means tries to intimidate Athena but my bb’s all:

Athena: HOLD IT! Junie...and Prof Means! I have a proposal!

Apollo: Wait this isn’t another one of your crazy-

Athena: BY SUNDOWN TODAY-

Junie: Yes?

Athena: I, ATHENA CYKES, ALONG WITH APOLLO JUSTICE-

Apollo: W-wait a second, don’t drag my name into-

Athena: WE’RE GOING TO DISCOVER THE TRUTH BEHIND THIS MURDER MYSTERY!

Junie: What?

Athena: AND WE’RE GOING TO BRING YOU SOLID EVIDENCE SHOWING JUST WHAT THE TRUTH IS!

Means: I see, it’s come to this, has it?

Athena: IF WE SUCCEED IN DOING THAT...I want you to accept the truth, Junie, no matter how hard it is to hear. Then you shouldn’t need anyone else to defend you except me! Have we got a deal?

WE DUEL AT SUNSET! I love her so much guys.

Athena: THERE’S NO LEAD IN THESE LEGS! I’VE BEEN TRAINING FOR A DAY LIKE THIS! OKAY ON MY MARK! READY, SET!

Klavier: The prosecution’s bench has taught me much about human emotions, passion and fight.

Athena: I can picture it now- you with your silvery singing voice and Apollo sweating bullets!

That’s actually fairly accurate to every single one of their trials, actually

Athena: I never knew Prof. Courte...but seeing her reduced to a white outline leave me cold inside.

Apollo: But in a way, she still lives on in the messages she left behind-

Ah Apollo, that’s swee-

Apollo: Like the strange way her body was posed and the signs of her wrists being bound.

....what the fuck Apollo

like that’s not a message SHE left behind, that’s a message her killer left behind when he killed her. it’s not like she bound her own wrists. I THOUGHT YOU WERE GOING TO SAY SOMETHING TOUCHING ABOUT HER LEGACY AS A TEACHER.

I think defense attorney’s are required to be obsessed with their hair. Athena’s mentioned hers three times so far, which is about the average amount of times Apollo and Phoenix mention their’s during a case too, upon reflection.

Athena successfully repairs the GODDESS OF LAW statue. Judge Courtney would be proud.

Athena: An unflappable banner? Hey I like that! I goes perfectly with unflappable lawyers and unflappable rockers! It was like it was made for this very stage!

Apollo: Look at this. The bottom part is all knotted up. Lemme try and unravel it.

Athena: Geez,did you really have to? You don’t come across an unflappable banner every day!

Apollo: Athena, there are some things that have to yield to forces beyond themselves.

Athena: What a cruel world we live in.

God you are both such goddamn nerds. I adore you.

Apollo keeps calling Athena “tiger” and I wonder if he thinks he’s Mary Jane Watson or something.

Athena called Myriam a “failure of a reporter” back in court and now she’s depressed.

Myriam: I’ve been cast aside to waste away into a big pile of mushy paper mache!

Athena: (I kind of feel responsible for this but...)

Apollo: “Now’s our chance to prod her for information while she’s vulnerable!” I bet that’s what you were thinking.

Athena: What kind of person do you think I am?! (He read me like a book)

I love my ruthless, vicious darling.

She manages to both cajole Myriam into fixing her emotional problems, comfort her and blackmail her...AT THE SAME TIME.

Apollo: You scare me sometimes, Athena. You’re like good cop, bad cop, all rolled into one.

AND DON’T YOU JUST ADORE THAT ABOUT HER.

Myriam: See you around, Scary Lawyer Lady!

See, for me, that would be an affectionate nickname.

AND SO WE UNCOVER JUNIE’S SECRET. Poor thing is really going through a lot. But Athena promises as her “VERY GOOD FRIEND” to get to the bottom of this.

AND SO IT’S TRIAL TIME.

I missed investigating as Athena. It felt good to do it again.

AA Headcanon time because… idk. Enjoy. Or don’t, whatever.

- Tyrell Badd is Canadian

- Bobby Fulbright and Clay Terran are alive. They were being held captive by whatever group the Phantom is from

- Apollo, Sebastian, and Simon BQ are all trans

- Klav Gav doesn’t care about his gender or whatever. They wear what they want when they want. Her outward appearance is carefully crafted, but there’s no real attachment. It’s just whatever is going to work best that day

- Speaking of Klavier: He’s can be just as cunning as Kris, on top of being incredibly smart and hard-working. He doesn’t believe any of it though

- Gumshoe has a big, big family. He’s the middle-est of seven children

- At least two of those siblings have families of their own

- I might put my Gumshoe HC’s in another post because there are just so many

- Pess is a Samoyed. Big, fluffy white cloud dog.

I need to write more fics… Or any, tbh. I have so much more. It’s all detailed too. But this is getting long I guess and my phone decided to stop cooperating.

What is your opinion on trans Klav that doesn’t take T? I feel like he would worry that it would ruin his voice and his perfectionism just would overpower the dysphoria.

(I say this as a trans person with the same issue)

I 100% can subscribe to that bc it makes total sense (I've heard of like voice actors and other people w/ vocal related professions that don't do hormones to maintain their voice).

I think what Klav would do in this case is maybe voice training?? esp since he's already a singer? Maybe? (I could be inaccurate here since I'm not a singer myself, but I've been a fan of some trans musicians which I think have the same sort of sitch going on??) He can also totally just not do that and not care that much abt passing, like moi <3

However consider this potential: Klavier & Apollo voice training together <333333
