It was like a cliché high school romance story, where in someone falls head over heels for their best friend.

That someone is you, my friend. Over the years that you've been friends with Amane you have never felt anything like this before, its like your whole body erupts with butterflies and you trying so hard not to smile whenever you see him.

Well, who wouldn't fall for a guy like him? He is smart, talented, athletic, sweet, and also a gentleman. He has this shy and quiet personality yet very mischievous and slightly chaotic which you found adorable.

You met Amane when you were in 2nd grade, you two were partnered up for an art project where in you two had to paint a flower pot. During those weeks you two painted, your friendship blossomed.

Back then he was a cute chubby cheeked little boy.

But now he was a very eye catching and drop dead gorgeous teen boy. Even you were hypnotized by his charms.

You never liked it when other people touched you, or when you touch people, you just found it akward.

But in your situation, I think you'll let this one slide.

Your whole week, was just you finding ways to have physical contact with Amane. Like purposely tripping, or pretending someone bumped into you making you bump into him aswell, jumoscaring him and most of all poking his sides cause it always ends up with him holding both your hands.

It made you blush, madly inlove with him, you couldn't control your feelings with him anymore, whenever he teases you, you don't respond with your normal insults, but blush

This, he found amusing, and quite adorable too.

3 weeks have passed, and you'd think Amane hasn't noticed or connected the dots? No. He is just smart like that, He knows you better than anyone else and he knows how much you hate it when you or people touch you. So when you don't react to him touching you, he just knew.

There were times youd sneak glances at him when Amane would look at a different direction

you two got there and it was PACKED literally, thank god he bought tickets already all you had to do was line up for food and your good to go

The movie finished about 2 hours ago, but you and Amane were having a walk around food stalls for the pass hour trying out things to eat

"You think your parents are looking for you?" Amane asked nervously, he once brought you home late 30 minutes and he got a light scolding. He can't imagine what the scolding will be if it was for an hour.

"Don't worry I sent them a text before we browsed around food stalls" He sighed a sigh of relief as you giggled "Dont tell me your scared of my parents Amane"

You two sat in silence as you ate, the only thing you two could hear was children running and screaming, people chatting with each other or the sound of food being cooked in each stall.

The lanterns shined bright as it made it impossible for you to sneak glances at the moon, you never told anyone you liked stargazing or looking upat the night sky as you were too embarrassed to do so.

You felt Amane slightly tug onto your sleeve "Here, follow me" He stood up as you followed him to a less lighter area, the noise dying in the backround and nothing but crickets and the nights cicadas.

"I never knew you liked stargazing [F/N], how come you never told me?" Amane sat down on the grass as you followed hugging your knees "Well.. I was too embarrassed too.." You said, pickingoff the grass under you.

"Well, there is nothing to be embarrassed about you showing and talking about the things you like, you can tell me I wont judge you" He poked your side as your reflexes moved to the right "Im also a little mad at you for not telling me you liked stargazing, think of all the missed opportunities..." He sulked

You giggled "Im sorry~"

Once again, you two sat in silence, not in an akward way but rather a comfortable silence. Nothing but both of you laying in the grass stargazing.

"Hey.. [F/N]" Amane spoke up, you slowly looked at him "Yes Amane?"

"Ever wonder whose behind all those written letters and gifts that always left on your desk?" Well yeah, you were curious, they had neat handwriting too. "Mhm, I want to know who it is.. No, loved you for.. 2 years now, I wanted to tell you how I felt a month ago when I wrote a letter to you to meet me by that big tree behind the school but.. I chickened out.." You couldn't believe what you were hearing, you were so overwhelmed with emotions you couldn't speak

"I mean its fine if you don't like me back, but I want our friendship to keep going—"

"Who said I didn't like you back?"

Your voice cracked a little as you were tearing up "Amane.. I like you too.." Amane brought you in for a hug as you let him "Im so happy.."

Amane held you by the shoulders as he looked at you "Your so.. Beautiful.." He held your cheek as you leaned into his touch holding his hand

Okay so these adorable teams all have the softest spot for their tiny little manager-chan, and here's how they all treat her.

They still have the good luck charms you fastened on their bag before one of the matches.

Tanaka and Noya would literally worship the ground which you walked on. Like wow how did they get so lucky as to have three?? Cute managers?? On their team??

Yachi and you would probably subtly simp over Kiyoko with them too ngl.

Hinata and Kags would probably see you as an older sister, eventho you're their age because you're so caring and responsible.

Suga is literally your mom and Daichi is your dad. They make sure you're all healthy and you're doing well in school.

Asahi gives you hugs whenever you're sad or upset! Fite me but I think this gentle baby gives the best hugs ever >:( he's like your comfort senpai and you'd do the same for him, especially when he's feeling insecure or down.

Yams would probably be very shy around you, but he'll warm up in time.

Matsukawa and Hanamaki give you headpats and like taking selfies with you, much to Oikawa's dismay. He wants to be the only one taking pictures with you.

Kindaichi is cool with you. Y'all are bros and you game together sometimes.

Watari and Yahaba join too, and they're surprised to know that you're so aggressive when you game.

Tendo loosens you up and you tend to play pranks on the others with him.

The funniest was when you tried to prank Ushijima by adding wasabi to his onigiri and he?? Didn't get it??

Shirabu is your voice of reason and you and him often study together. You also have deep and philosophical conversations at 12 a.m. over text, and it is just so wholesome.

He respects you so much, not just because you care for him, but because he finds your brain so fricking smexy.

These eagle babies bring out the best in you and you're always eager to push them forward and bring out the best in them.

First thing's first, besides Akaashi, you are the only other person who can cheer up an emo-mood Bokuto.

Akaashi thinks you are an angel sent from heaven.

You're very soft on your baby owls, and they genuinely just love getting positive affirmations from you.

Akaashi always blushes when you compliment him on his sets. And you can hear him murmur genuine words of gratitude.

The other members do too. They're glad because sometimes people focus on Bo too much and forget to give them recognition, yk? It's easy to get overlooked :(

But thanks to manager-chan who's so attentive with all of them, and who's aware of all their quirks and moods, they're all so touched and so so happy.

You have a habit of getting cold pretty often, especially since practice finishes late and it's pretty chilly by then.

Konoha always lends you his jacket and walks you home, since your home's are the closest. There's just something about you that makes you soft.

You get along really well with Kaori and Yukie, and you'd definitely consider them your best friends, considering y'all are in this thang togetherrrr!!

Kai and Teshiro help you with your homework and like talking about their favourite singers with you.

They're all just such amazing human beings who treat you so well, and you feel so blessed to be a part of their team. You adore them so much, and they adore you back tenfold.

Enter Suna Rintaro, your meme king. He definitely records funny moments that happen during practice and send them to you, just to make you laugh, or memes of the members.

He also definitely takes pictures of you when you aren't noticing, simply because he likes the way your hair looked, or because you looked so beautiful.

Like the twins, his eyes widen whenever you kiss his cheek or ruffle his hair, and it's literally like suna.exc has stopped functioning.

Congrats manager-chan, you broke the kid -.-

Omimi might come across as stoic and cold but he's actually a huge softie, and you often give him positive affirmations.

He's also definitely a huge lover of your hugs, and looks forward to them as motivation to play well.

He'd never tell you though, he's shy™.

You calm him down when he's getting too hotheaded with gentle words and he's suddenly a blushing mess.

Unlike some of the other teams that tease you a bunch, Inarizaki treats you so gently. Their little princess, as they think of you.

So mf-ing protective, like if someone looks at you wrong, you can totally bet Atsumu's going for their ankles, sangwoo style, or Osamu is trash talking them to their knees.

Would drop anything and everything to help you if ever needed.

They think you're they're entire world because you go above and beyond for them, and they genuinely love you. Like actually LOVE you to bits and pieces.

🐍🐀 this was an entrancing read. I have a hard time with fics that feature Pettigrew because I don't want to sympathize with him, but there's still a person there. this totally captured that turmoil he must've felt. I'm not excusing it, but I'm saying give this fic a read, it'll make you think: "And when faced with the hopeful smile of the boy across the table from him, the boy who apparently wanted to pick his brain, who wanted to talk to him, and wasn’t just cosying up in order to get to his more popular friends, Peter found a smile of his own."

Everybody knew Oliver cared little about anything other than Quidditch, so being coddled by Oliver was unexpectedly flattering and pleasant. Oliver treated Percy as though he was astronomically special."

🐀 you're maybe saying to yourself: "nope, not touching that with a ten-foot pole." FIGHT THIS INSTINCT. this is an amazing character study of Peter; I literally re-read read it the second I finished it: "But Peter had always known he wasn’t as charming and attractive as Sirius, nor as confident and funny as James, nor as smart and kind as Remus. No, Peter was just… Peter. And despite his friend’s advice to 'just be himself,' none of his first dates were leading to second dates."

🖤 dark fic, amazing canon divergence plot. most of your favorite Marauders era characters, all very much in-character, just following a different story arc. definitely recommend: "'What the hell are you doing here, Regulus?' Remus asked finally, with the air of a prefect exasperated after his friend’s younger brother had been stroking his thigh all prefect’s meeting. That specific exasperation was familiar to Regulus."

🌗 I beta read this fic and loved it from the opening line. angsty, beautifully written, heartbreaking... sweet, sweet sapphic smut: "It was the danger, at first — I don’t want to hurt you, and I don’t want you to have to live like this. But Ginny slowly worked that away, peeling petals from the dying flower to reveal its lifeless center. The truth of it, which had nothing to do with Lavender and had everything to do with Ginny."

Part 4:

When you got a text from Dohae saying that she was going to be debuting soon, you had to admit that you were happy for her. How could you be anything else? For a trainee, debuting was the ultimate dream. Some people trained for years and years before they finally got the opportunity to debut.

Dohae had been a trainee for three years now, and you couldn’t help but think she was quite lucky to have transferred over to Pledis when she had so that she was able to get this opportunity.

She was, of course, extremely excited, and invited you over to hang out with her in celebration.

Don’t worry! No Jihoon tonight, just you and me for once!

You were pretty excited. Lies down to a minimum, and just a chance to relax with someone who was quickly becoming one of your closest friends. You were excited.

You were quick to knock on the practice room door when you arrived (having stopped by the dorms and said hi to Kara quickly first of course). Dohae perked up the second she saw you, the largest smile falling over her lips when she spotted you.

“Sang Goo,” she called eagerly. She ran up to you and attacked you with a tight hug before you could say much of anything. You stumbled backwards slightly and offered her a friendly smile.

“Hey there, miss idol, how are you doing?”

Dohae burst out into delighted giggles, which quickly morphed into her doing a little jumpy shriek thing. Watching her get so excited over something so simply was honestly really amusing. You couldn’t help but bounce a little too.

“I’m doing incredible! Sang Goo, I’m going to debut!”

She did a little spin away from you.

“Me? Me! I’m going to debut Goo!” She continuted to exclaim. “Oh tonight we have so much we have to do! We have to go out and eat pizza, and go to the park and wish on the stars and then go buy a cake- not individual ones a whole cake- and just eat it until we can’t eat anymore.”

You laughed at Dohae’s excitement, shaking your head in amusement.

“Dohae, if you eat that much you will weigh too much to debut.”

Dohae laughed.

“Don’t worry I’ll train super hard tonight so that I stay in shape.”

She squealed again and raced back over to you, grabbing your hands.

“Oh Goo, I'm going to debut!”

You laughed with Dohae, shaking your head in amusement.

“Wow... You’re just full of excitement aren’t you?” You asked in amusement. Dohae nodded.

“Pure excitement.”

She paused, and her face morphed into one of horror in a millisecond.

“Oh my god, I’m debuting.”

You snickered at her transformation, finding it a little amusing the way that she was no pacing the room.

“Oh my god, is it going to be hard? I’m going to have all of these fans- Unless our debut is bad, I would die if our debut is bad. I-”

Watching Dohae rant about all of the things could go wrong made a lot of things happen in a short period of time.

One: You stopped thinking about yourself as Sang Goo. Something that was very, very bad for yourself. You always had to think of yourself as Sang Goo, because if you didn’t then you would just think of yourself as yourself. A simple idol who had a lot of close friends that you cared about.

And, sadly, thinking of yourself in such a way meant that you didn’t not think twice about trying to comfort Dohae. And you didn’t think about the words that you chose to say as you did so.

“Dohae, it’s going to be okay. I can tell you and Jihoon can too. Debuting is nerve-wracking but in the end it’s just the start to the life you were always meant to lead.”

Dohae fell silent, her eyebrows furrowing slightly. She seemed confused, but you didn’t know why.

“Jihoon... Why do you say so?”

The question caught you off-guard but you were quick to get back on your feet.

“Just because you two are so close now, and you know how Jihoon is. He is practical. Smart. He thinks things through before he speaks. I’m sure you’ve seen the way that he thinks before he does things. His nose wrinkles a little sometimes as he ways the multiple thoughts in his head...” You assured. “And you know that if he’s friends with you, he must think you are talented! He’s only friends with really talented people. And-”

“Oh my god... You’re in love with Jihoon.”

You felt your heart jump. You turned to look over your shoulder at Dohae but … It was too late. You could see the gears in her mind churning.

“You do, don’t you? It all makes sense now. I’m so stupid.”

“No-”

“Yes, your name isn’t Goo, you are Siae. You’re the one who is in love with an idol and won’t show their face because he doesn’t know yet, and the reason why you were so good at helping me tell Jihoon that I love him is because you love him too.”

“Doha-”

“And Jihoon never loved me. Well, not in the same way he loves you,” Dohae continued. It was almost frustrating... For a girl who was generally so airheaded to finally have the sense to call you out on something that you were able to fool so many into believing. “He loves your words. He loves that you understand him. He doesn’t love the silly things that you tell him. Like about my dancing and about my family life. He likes the way that you bring words to life. The way that you make things happen on a piece of paper.”

“You don’t know that,” you disagreed with a roll of your eyes, but the phrase made Dohae grab your wrist. The action startled you, and you were suddenly forced into a deadlock with Dohae. She gave you a stern look, her grip tight on you.

“How could you be such a hypocrite? This whole time you have been telling me that I need to tell the truth, and you... You're the biggest liar of them all.”

The words were a sting to your heart, but you knew they were true. All of this time you had told Dohae how important it was that she embrace herself. That she just trust her heart and follow where it lead, all while you hid behind her pretty face and a piece of paper.

You had thought when you debuted as Siae you were pursing your dream in its fullest. That the only reason you hadn’t exposed your face despite the awards you had already received and the love for your music that had b een expressed was because of Jihoon. You wanted him to fall for you for who you were on the inside, not what you looked like.

You said that you were brave, that you were confident and believed in yourself but in the truth you were no different then Dohae. She just hid from one person while you hid from the entire world.

Your gaze lowered down to the ground and you let your hair fall in your face. You supposed another mask that you hid behind.

“You’re right,” you murmured.

Her grip loosened a little bit on your arm.

“Wh-what?” She asked. You sighed and looked back up at her.

“You’re right,” you repeated. “You’re right about everything. I’m a fake.”

You weren’t sure why Dohae responded that way that she did, but at your words her fingers completely left your arm. She kneeled down a little bit and brushed her knuckles over your forehead in an attempt to see your eyes. You looked up at her, wondering why she suddenly looked so surprised when she saw your face.

It was when her other hand rose to your cheek, her knuckle brushing your cheek bone that you realized that you were crying.

“Hey it’s okay....”

“Is it?” You blurted back. The words came out a little too harshly, so you closed your eyes and took a shaky breath. “I’m sorry, it’s just... I keep telling myself that I’m this... Ideal person. Someone who is confident and cool under pressure but when it comes down to it. I’m nothing more than a coward.”

“It’s scary to be yourself,” Dohae replied back, a small smile riddling over her lips. “Someone I’m really close to taught me that.”

You smiled at her, a tiny chuckle leaving your lips as you did so.

“I guess I owe you the truth then?” You murmured. Dohae stepped back from you and you wiped the remainder of wetness from your cheeks.

“You don’t have to-”

“No, no I want to,” you replied softly. You took a shaky sigh and pushed your hands in your pockets.

You told her pretty much everything she needed to know.

How you fell in love with Jihoon and his stage persona, and how the crush never wavered or went away. That how watching him achieve his dreams made you want to achieve your own dreams as well, so you stomached all of the nerves that you had been facing and joined an entertainment company.

You told her all about your trials and tribulations. How hard you had fought to be where you were today. And how you had never meant to start lying like this. How you had never wanted to let everything get this far.

“So, all this time...” She murmured.

You shrugged.

“I’ve been living a double life,” you replied with a small laugh. “I never thought it would get this far... And I never imagined that you would figure out that I liked Jihoon like this.”

“It’s you.”

Your eyes widened, as you stared at Dohae. She looked just as surprised as you and glanced over your shoulder at who you could only assume was standing there. Your body stiffened and you had just managed to calm yourself down.

“Dohae is that-”

“Yep.”

You turned around.

“Look I can explain- I mean, the letters-”

“Oh, I knew that it was you who was writing the letters,” Jihoon interrupted with a wave of his hand. “No offense Dohae, you’re gorgeous, it’s just that talking to you in person and then reading your writing... It was clear that I was talking to two different people.”

Dohae waved a hand through the air.

“It’s okay, I understand,” she said softly.

“And once it came down to it, there could only be one person who was writing me the letters. You. You’re close to Kyuhyun and Dohae- It just made sense,” Jihoon continued. You opened your mouth to deny what Jihoon was saying, but before you could he continued.

“Besides, I also knew that it had to be you who was Siae. You’re singing voice-”

You knew it, you knew he had known and here it was, the truth.

Jihoon knew you were Siae. He knew that you were in love with him.

And it was too much for you to handle.

You took a step backward, not saying a word as you did so. No one noticed so you took another one, and then another, and then before you knew it you were running in the opposite direction. You could hear Jihoon calling after you, but in the moment, you didn’t care at all. You just had to get out of there.

“Wait, where are you-”

And before they could say another word to you, you were running. You rain past Jihoon, out of the training room, out of Pledis, until you couldn’t run anymore. You felt tears streaming down your face as you slowed down your sprint, but you couldn’t really bring it in yourself to care.

You felt your phone buzz in your pocket and your eyes widened slightly in surprise. You looked down, sniffling as you pulled your phone out of your pocket.

Dohae: Hey are you okay?

Dohae: Why did you run off? Come back!

Dohae: Look, no one is upset, can’t we just talk about this?

Dohae: Please come back

But you couldn't do it. You couldn't come back to them. You couldn't look either of them in the eyes. You had lied to them for so long. You couldn't do it. All you could do now was what you had always planned on doing.

You had been planning on this the whole time. Once the truth came out, the truth had to come all the way out. You had to come clean with everything.

That meant the mask had to come off.

That meant all you could do was compose.

You received hundreds of texts from Dohae over the next few weeks, but you ignored them all. It wasn't that you were mad at her, it was just that facing her right now sounded like too much to handle. You couldn't look her in the face when she had found out your secret.

You had wanted to be the one to tell them who you were... Sure you hadn't figured out how to do it yet, but you had still wanted to be the one to tell them in the end.

So, you ignored Dohae, you ignored the warnings you kept getting from Kyuhyun. You didn't care if you were working too hard. If focusing exclusively on your revelatory comeback wasn't healthy. You just dove right into everything, working hard on what you had promised yourself you would achieve long ago.

Writing the song was easy and composing it with Kyuhyun was actually quite fun. It took your mind off of things. Made you forget for a second what all you had to worry about.

Until finally, it was time to face the music.

Well... Not the literally music.

When you saw Dohae seated at the restaurant you told her to meet you at- the first one you had ever eaten at with her, you felt oddly nervous. Your body buzzed with anxiety, basically screaming at you to run away again.

But Dohae was your friend.

It was wrong to have run away from her in the first place, and wrong for you to have lied to her for so long, and left her in the dark so often.

You took a deep breath and walked up to her.

The first thing you wanted to say was that you were sorry, that you were thankful she was meeting you and that you were happy to see her, but before you could say any of that she looked up at you and broke out into a large smile.

"I was so worried!" Dohae blurted out. She jumped towards you, her arms wrapping around your body as she wrapped you in a tight hug. "It's been forever, how are you are you okay?"

She pulled away from you, her hands taking yours. She looked you up and down and her smiled dropped from her face.

"You've lost weight. Have you not been eating?"

You opened your mouth to tell her that you had been eating- a lie, but a better one then just lying about your entire personality and name and... Well, everything.

"You know it isn't healthy to not eat. Just because you're an idol doesn't mean that-"

You interrupted Dohae by leaning forward, your arms wrapping around her tightly.

"Dohae," you whispered softly. "I missed you a lot."

You felt the tension leaving Dohae’s body.

“I missed you too,” she said softly. You pulled away from her and gave her a small smile.

“I know I don’t deserve it, but-”

“Of course, I forgive you,” she said softly. “I was never mad; I could never be mad at you. You had your reasons and I understand that.”

“Yeah?” You asked.

“Yeah,” Dohae mumbled. You shook your head.

You couldn’t believe that you had been so stupid. To think that Dohae would care about something like you lying about your name and a bit of your backstory. To her your lie meant nothing. She knew that you were genuine when you were with her, and that’s what mattered the most to her.

You were glad to be able to call her a friend.

After eating a meal with her and catching up on everything you looked down at your watch and sighed.

“Well, I have a comeback coming soon, so I better get-”

“Jihoon misses you.”

You froze, slowly looking back up at Dohae. Her expression was different then it had been all day. It was more serious. Solemn.

“He’s giving you the space he thinks you need but he misses you a lot.”

“Did you tell him?” You asked. “That you were seeing me today.”

“No,” Dohae responded. “I couldn’t. I knew that you wouldn’t want that.”

“Thank you.”

“But you can’t avoid him forever.”

You knew that she was right. It was so... High school of you to have run away from him. Even more elementary of you to continue hiding from him. But you couldn’t face him. Not yet. Not when you had lied to him. Someone who valued honesty so much.

You looked down, away from Dohae.

“I’ll see you around Dohae.”

“Bye.”

The next thing you knew, it was time for your stage.

You were nervous, of course you were nervous.

You had spent these past few months hiding behind a mask. One that hid who you were and the truth behind everything and now you had to take a step out of that mask. Set it aside forever and reveal to the whole world who you really were.

You were excited, but also, nervous. How could you not be after all? You were giving yourself to the world raw. It was a lot.

“Nervous?”

You looked back at Kara, smiling nervously.

“A little,” you admitted.

“Less then you’re debut though. You aren’t singing now,” she said with a chuckle. You snickered.

“It’s basically like a debut,” you replied. “Now everyone gets to see my face.”

“Your beautiful face,” Kara said affectionately. She reached forward to touch your face, but you just laughed and fell away from her.

“You’ll ruin my makeup!”

You squealed as Kara continued to chase you around the room, doing your best to stay away from her until finally the door to the dressing room opened, and Kyuhyun poked his head through the door.

“It’s time to go.”

You slowed to a stop, laughing nervously.

“You think I’m ready?” You asked him softly. He smiled.

“You were born ready.”

When the lights on stage shined down on you and all that was left for you was you and the microphone.

The lights went down on stage and you felt like a huge weight had been lifted off your shoulders.

You knew that if Dohae was telling the truth, Jihoon would watch this stage. Maybe Jihoon would accept your apology.

But if she was wrong. If she was lying, you may never see him again.

However, you didn’t need to worry about it for long.

You opened the door to your dressing room, and when you saw who was sitting at the vanity, you felt like all of the air had been punched out of your gut.

“Jihoon.”

“Hey.”

There was an awkward silence as you stared at him and he raised an eyebrow as you just stood there staring at him.

“Aren’t you going to come in?” He asked. You sucked in a breath and nodded, wandering into the room. You shut the door behind you and then turned to face him again, your eyes widening slightly.

“I...” You shook your head. “Did you...?”

“Yeah, it was good,” he replied. “You were amazing. People love you, you know.”

“I hope they aren’t let down,” you said with a chuckle, gesturing nervously to your face.

“You are beautiful.”

Your faced blazed red and you risked a look back up to Jihoon, unable to help yourself. He looked genuine.

“Th-”

“Why did you run?” He asked softly. You choked on air and looked away from him again, feeling those nervous butterflies in your stomach again. You couldn’t really believe it. Just how nervous you were. It was just Jihoon.

But that was just the problem, wasn’t it?

“I was just... Scared,” you replied softly. “It’s kind of something that I have always been. It’s why I couldn’t tell you from the beginning. Why I tried to get you with Dohae. Hiding is so much easier then actually telling the truth.”

Jihoon pursed his lips and nodded.

“Then, let’s do something different,” he suggested. He stood up and brushed off his pants. He smiled at you and held out his hand.

“Hello!” He greeted pleasantly. “My name is Jihoon.”

You smiled at Jihoon, a wave of relief coming over you.

“Really? You still want to be with me?” You said. “Even after all the lies.”

Jihoon shrugged, keeping his hand in the air.

“You were scared, sometimes people lie,” he stated pointedly. “You had good intentions.”

He sighed.

“Besides, I read your letters. Your feelings are genuine, I want to give this a shot,” he insisted. “So.... Hello! My name is Jihoon.”

He stared at you, a genuine sparkle of honesty in his eyes. It made you smile to watch him like that. You couldn’t believe that he was giving you this chance. This opportunity. He trusted you, he wanted to give you a shot.

This was everything you had ever dreamed and more.

The whole time that you had imagined this you had thought that something tragic would happen. Like the further into the lie you went the more tragic the outcome would be. But here you were, the perfect beginning to a love story that had all of the makings to be amazing.

You swallowed your nerves and gave Jihoon a smile.

“It’s nice to meet you Jihoon. My name is...”

joshua moved his gaze from where you were chatting animatedly with sofia and turned to see his best friend, larry, watching him with a large grin.

his eyes narrowed as he subconsciously wiped the corner of his lips, checking for drool.

"look, I'm going to. I just, haven't found the right time." his friend only snickered walking away with a shake of his head leaving a worried josh in his wake.

at this your mouth dropped open, in shock. truth of the matter was you had been wanting to tell him you loved him weeks before but you always got so nervous in fear of rejection, yet here he was pouring his heart on his sleeve for you.

you couldn't help yourself as you grabbed his head into your hands pressing your lips to his in a searing kiss that caused him to let out a surprised yelp.

when you separated his eyes were glazed over as he sent you a dopey smile.

"does this mean you love me too?"

"yes, you dumby. I always have." with that he pulled you back into the kiss, smiling against your lips as the pair of you lost all sense of the world around you.

Fugitoid touched down the Ship on a Nearby Planet causing everyone to stumble a bit from the Impact "Okay everyone! We needed to make a quick pit stop. Now this time can we please not try to tick off an intergalactic Alien warlord please?" He asked then shook his head and walked towards the door and opened it. Raph rolled his eyes then walked into the Room with the others to get Geared up with Casey walking beside him "Ha! No promises Fuiga-dude" He nudged Fugitoids shoulder as he passed by.

Fugitoid groaned and hung his head "Oh dear..." He shook his head "What am I gonna do with you all..." He mumbled to himself. April gently placed her hand on Fugitoids shoulder "Don't worry professor. Casey is just Joking" She smiled reassuring but it soon faded "...Ehh... Well at least I hope..." She shook her head "We'll all make sure to keep him in check" She promised. Fugitoid nodded "Thank you April"

She smiled "No problem!" She went to go gear up with the Others. Casey nudged April's shoulder when she walked in, causing her to rub it and glare at him "So, You're Gonna keep me in Check eh red?" He grinned and got close to her face. April only rolled her eyes and shoved his face out of hers "You heard me right, Jones" She turned her back to him and started to attach her gear to her Yellow jumpsuit. Casey chuckled "Well I'll make sure to Really misbehave around you then Red~" He flirted.

"Ay, Casey. Leave her be." Raph told him then dragged him out by the back of his suit. "Ah! Hey! Cut it out Raph!" He groaned then looked at April "See you later Babe!" He yelled out to her. April only wrinkled her face in disgust at the Nickname and scoffed before continuing to gear up. As Casey was being dragged out, out of the corner of his eye he spotted a Pissed off Leonardo glaring daggers his way as Leo was also in the Room gearing up with everyone else.

Leo soon finished before hearing April sigh, causing him to look over at her then look back at his gear and clearing his throat nervously "..Just ignore him April. You know how Casey Can be sometimes" He grabbed his Swords and Lazer guns, equipping them to himself before walking over to her. She held her Helmet in her hands and nodded looking at him before looking at her Reflection in it "Yeah, I know. He's just so Annoying sometimes" She shook her head then put it on. Leo nodded "Yeah.. But that's Casey for you" He shrugged then left the Ship with her.

Her eyes widened "Woah... This place is gorgeous" She glanced around. Leo glanced around as well and nodded "Yeah.." Leo then glanced at her and smiled lightly before she glanced back at him with a confused look, wondering why he was staring at her. Leo blushed lightly and quickly looked away from her, tensing up. Fugitoid came over and stood by the Two of them "This is the Planet of Hanviea. A Beautiful Planet known for it's Crystal mining, Peaceful Population, Great Trade routes, and Beautiful waters and Gardens" His face lit up to show a happy smile "The Aarrealek People who inhabit this planet have Lived in Peace for Centuries and are known for their hospitality and Great Talent" He explained. April nodded "I bet"

Fugitoid nodded "Now shoo you two, go have your fun" He nudged them off.

Leo walked with April and had a Genuinely nice conversation with her. They stopped at a few booths from time to time to look at some of the items people were selling. Leo picked up a Really Pretty Crystal that looked like it had its own little waterfall within it "Wow.. Hey April, come look at-" He looked over to expect to see April standing by his side but he didn't see her. Panic shot through him as he set the Crystal down "April?" He called for her "April!" He called for her again but got no response. Leo quickly ran off from the booth to look for her. He search for at least an Hour before finally finding her in one of the Garden Area's "April! There you are! Why did you run off like that? I-I've been looking for you for ages!" He scolded. April was too fascinated by the flowers to pay attention to Leo's bickering.

"That's amazing.." Leo took the flower back from her and it changed back to the blue/green color again. April nodded then glanced at Leo, admiring his features and getting a bit lost. Leo looked at her and Smiled Smugly "April?"

"April are you even listening to me?" Leo asks and crouches down next to her, glancing at the flowers before glancing back at her. April snapped out of her little daze and looked at Leo "Huh? Oh y-yeah, totally" She shook her head and looked back at the Flowers. Leo sighed then looked at the flowers and his eyes widened slightly "Damn..." He picked a flower up and the flower went from a Glowing white color and changed to a Pretty Green/blue color. April looked at the flower in Leo's hand and gently took it from him and examined it. The flower then flickered again and changed to a pretty Yello/brown/brown color "Woah..."

April blinked "H-Hm?" She asked and looked at him. Leo motioned to the Flowers around them, they had all went from a pretty white to a Bright Red-ish pink color. April noticed them and blushed "Ah! What the hell!? Why are they doing that? I-Is Raph Nearby or something? H-He has to be.." She tried to play it off. Leo smiled and shook his head "Ooo~ ouch~ if he heard that you even associated him with anything related to the color pink he'd kill you" He teased. April blinked then rolled her eyes playfully and playfully hit Leo's shoulder "Oh quiet you~ if that's the case then he better not find out from a certain someone" She playfully warned. Leo raised an eyebrow "Oh yeah? And who might that certain someone be Miss O'Neill?" He asked.

"You're Smart, you'll figure it out" She held her head up high. Leo chuckled and shook his head before placing the flower back into in her hands "Hey.. April?" He asked. "Yeah Leo?" She looked at him

"There is something I've been meaning to tell you for Awhile now..." He leaned in close to her face. She nodded "okay?" She tilted her head. Leo gulped and seemed very nervous "I..." He sighed "...I... Like you... April, okay?... As like.. More than a Friend and before you say anything yeah I know it's dumb and so sudden and now is probably the worst time to tell you since we have more important things to focus on like saving Earth but it's just been driving me nuts and I needed to get this off my chest.. Not to mention I feel like a huge dick considering Donnie and Casey also Like you" He looked down "and I know you'd Probably Prefer someone like Casey over myself or Donnie but either way... I just thought I'd let you know so that I can at least sleep at night now" He scoffed. April's eyes widened and her Jaw Dropped as she fell silent

Leo sighed "Sorry to Bother you..." He stood up and proceeded to walk off before being stopped when a hand grabbed his wrist, causing him to flinch and look at who grabbed him. April grinned mischievously "So I managed to Steal the Fearless Leaders Heart, eh?" She asked teasingly. Leo blushed lightly and rubbed his neck a bit "I guess.." He smiled lightly and glanced away from her. She smiled and squealed "Ahhh! I can't believe it!"

Leo was utterly confused and shocked by her reaction "I-.. Uhh-.. What? You aren't mad? O-Or disgusted?" He asked. She shook her head "Nope!"

Leo's eyes widened and he smiled but it soon faded "Wait... What about Donnie and Casey?" He asked. April shrugged and crossed her arms "I mean... Casey is well...-erm.. Casey. And Donnie is an Absolute Sweetheart but I don't really see him as anything more than like a Friend or Brother" She shrugged. Leo nodded "Oh..."

April returned the nod "Yeah.." She shook her head then Both her and Leo got a Buzz on their Arm gauntlets with a Voice message from fugitoid

"The ship is all fixed and Refueled! Please Report back to the Ship! Blee-bloop"

"well, I guess that's our cue" April shrugged and took Leo's hand and started walking back towards the ship "C'mon"

Leo followed her but was still in shock by what just happened, thinking this was some Dream. A God Damn wonderful dream for the Blue clad turtle. But either way for him whether it was or wasn't.. He was still one Damn happy turtle.

Oh my gosh ok so I just read Sciamachy and I can't believe I've never read it before??? It was SO GOOD (As are all of your fics tbh.) Seriously, you're insanely talented! All of your fics are perfectly paced and have such gorgeous imagery and just flows so well? But anywAY - "he knew all too well the frequency of royalty in high, secluded rooms, and he wasn’t keen on becoming one of them." This line just really stood out to me for some reason? (1!?)

I remember reading that one line and just having to put my tablet down because " holy shi T that's smart". That's such a clever fear? Virgil telling Roman that he's something gave me so many emotions oh my gOD. After Roman constantly believing he's nothing that little compliment has so much meaning and ahhhhhHhHH Virgil telling Roman he can talk to him about his dragons anytime? Oh my god that's amazing and clever and funny and I'm running out of things to say because I have so many emotions and your writing is the cause of all of them *flips tables* Anyway long story short i adore all of your fics and this one was no exception and like your writing is better than most novels I've read and if you were to ever publish something you bet your sweet ass I'd buy all of your works

1. what does your name mean / mean to you?

Oh wow! I learned something new about my name. It is a Hindi boy name meaning, Center. I'm used to reading it meaning things like knowledge, wise, understanding, and water baby. This is very interesting!

I used to hate my first name years ago, but honestly I really used to hate myself for many reasons for many years. I now love my first name as much as I love my middle name. My last name is pretty cool. I used to want to change it to my biological last name, but now it ties me to both my grandma (She got remarried when my dad and his brother were in their teen years. The man she remarried, she had 3 of my uncles with, 2 are still alive.) and my dad so I'm going to keep it for a little while longer. My dad has another brother who I keep in contact with with my biological last name. They found each other through Facebook years and years ago.

2. breakfast, lunch or dinner?

Breakfast because breakfast is the bomb! That is my favorite kind of food, day or night. I do eat lunch and dinner too, but breakfast food will always have my heart.

3. what are you proud of?

I am proud of how far I actually have come in my life. There were times where I literally wanted to just let things be even when it was bad for me to do so, but I still eventually found the courage to leave when I knew that in my heart of hearts that I needed to for the good of my overall well being. I have had to do that a good bit of times in my life and despite how some of it hurt me really bad to do so emotionally and sometimes mentally even, I knew that I just had to do it because if I would have stayed in some if not most of those situations, I wouldn't be where I am now.

I don't have the best job in the world right now and things have been really hard especially with this crazy ass situation going on, but I am so much happier in so many ways than I was 3 years ago and years before that even. I have grown a lot in many ways. I have the Army to thank for that at least partly. That place pushed me to my limits in so many ways that I had no choice, but to see that I really, really needed to change in some ways if I was ever going to get anywhere in life in the Civilian world. It was what I like to call a necessary hell.

4. your go to song on a bad day?

Not sure if this counts, but when I get scared or anxious about something, I listen to "Lullaby" by Shawn Mullins. It feels like he is singing it to me in a way. It sounds crazy I know, but I have loved this song for many years and overtime it just became a really good comforting song for me.

5. have / want tattoos

I don't have tattoos and I don't think I will ever get a tattoo. I don't like needles. I'm not as bad as my mom with them, but I still don't like the way they feel and I wouldn't know what to get anyway.

6. what are you looking forward to post ‘rona?

To go to places without having to wear a mask like the movies and the mall for instance. They drive me nuts! I wear them for work and when I go into stores. At home, I stay mask free because no one has the 'rona in the house because we all wear masks when we go out some where like work places and the like.

7. fave place you’ve travelled to / where you would like to travel to?

Lost Maples Natural State Area in Texas, hands down! It is a gorgeous place with mountains with hiking trails and beautiful unbelievably crystal clear water.

North Carolina. I need to pay respects to my grandma and if it is allowed I am thinking about spreading my dad's ashes on her grave as well. I was in the Army when she died. I was offered to go back home because of it, but I knew my grandma would have wanted me to keep going and so I did.

Hmm... I have a good bit of them to be honest. I will just name my main fandoms at the moment. Rhink, Supernatural, and Harry Potter especially when it comes to shipping. LOL!

Hmm... An ideal date with myself, eh? This is going to sound so weird or maybe not, but either a trip to a bookstore or a thrift and or antique store. I love to check out those kinds of places.

12. Is there anything you would say to your younger self?

Yes there is. Things will get better than what they are now. You just have to be patient and strong. One day your life won't be completely the same. It will be better. We ourselves will be better so keep your head up kid and don't give up on the fact that one day your life will change and that you will change for the better and that you will be truly happy. Eventually, wonderful things will come your way, but you first have to go through some trials & tribulations that will make you want to just give up, roll over and cry and allow life & people to screw you over. Don't let them! You are stronger and brighter in spirit than you will ever realize. Keep striving to have a better & happier life because you are worth it. You have always been worth it and I love you. One day you will be able to look at yourself in the mirror and say that to yourself like I am telling you right now.

After that I would embrace my younger self while she cried. That is probably what more than likely would happen if I met up with my younger self somehow.

13. do you bop to music on (I corrected this. It originally said in.) your own? do you sing?

Yep especially while driving in my car to and from work and at work too.

Oh Hell Yeah! I sing way more than I used to especially not just by myself behind closed doors. I don't sing out loud at work though because people could be sleeping and also I'm still a wee bit hesitant to sing in front of people like face to face depending upon where I am at, who I am with, and such. I'm working on it, but I do show my talent to people a lot more than what I used to.

Now that I work at the school district this has changed quite a bit. LOL! 😆 I more than likely especially this summer thus far have given unintentional concerts to some people possibly.

14. is there a type of animal you associate with home? does your house get animal visitors?

Hmm... I was around cats a lot more than dogs throughout most of my lifetime especially my childhood and teenage years.

If we're being sappy though I'd say cats and dogs now. My boyfriend's brother and sister-in-law have a cat that I love a lot. He is what I like to call a sweet asshole. LOL! He can be nice and or loving, but not towards most people. He is kind of like my boyfriend in that way. They're both assholes to people who actually deserve it, but if you're a good and respectable person they'll show you the same kind of decency.

My mom has two German Shepherds that are my fuzz sisters. I love them way more than I thought I would ever love dogs. I was just a cat person for a really, really long time, but now I actually like or love dogs depending upon my relationship with them.

As far as animal visitors go now that Doug & I have an apartment that has loads of cats just casually hanging out in some spots including our patio yesterday swatting at some birds, the answer to the next question is yes. Too bad I was at work when that was occuring. It sounded so entertaining & cute!

15. is there an artist of any kind who speaks to your soul?

Oh goodness! So many of them do. A lot of musical artists, writers, and the like. To name them all would have me write out a novel or two even. LOL! However, I will say one at least. Stevie Nicks is a huge one. I love her and her music too death. She was also awesome in Fleetwood Mac as well.
