Thinking about Daniel's current lifestyle- doesn't that mean if he had to choose a boyfriend, he would've chosen Terry Silver?

If things had been different between them, I mean.

Aside from the many things they have in common, Daniel likes being rich.

Daniel likes being famous. He likes fancy cars. He likes country clubs. He likes being a socialite. He likes expensive drinks and carefully crafted food.

When Johnny asked him if he was too good for gas station food, Daniel said: "Yeah. I am."

Without shame. Matter of fact.

Everyone thinks Johnny should connect with him over the more humble lifestyle that Daniel is very familiar with. I mean, his whole childhood was "gas station food." And yet he doesn't miss it all or have any interest in anything Average Joe. Seems disgusted by cheap beer and bologna. He remembers where he came from, but it's not fondly.

He really is a prissy Prima Donna lol. Kreese was right!

Even in the original movies, Daniel talked about future fame and opportunities after the first tournament. He enjoyed kids wanting his autograph. The next year, he wanted to defend his title in front of a crowd and didn't understand why Miyagi thought all that stuff was unnecessary. He thought they would get rich from Miyagi's Little Trees...

(I know everybody wishes they were rich and famous lol. But it's like he was born for it and takes to it so well.)

Look at his Jersey family, they're very flashy and uncouth. Daniel is classy and refined.

He and Terry have that in common too. They can be loud and obnoxious, but sophisticated and scheming when need be.

Terry messed up. On paper they're made for each other.

And I just kind of feel like in another universe, none of us would have been surprised if Cobra Kai started off with Terry and Daniel being married.

I'm literally not trying to start any m/m shipping discourse. It's just a thought I had.
