I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed the update (I'm sorry it was late!!) and that you like Fictional!Matty's mare! I'm so excited about Sally the horse, and I was grinning so much as I wrote about her because Fictional!Matty loves her *so much* which as someone who is *also* absolutely obsessed with their horse, I relate to on a very personal level. Not to be dramatic but Pop (my gelding) is my entire world, literally sometimes I will just start crying because I love him so much and I don't know how I got lucky enough to be his person. My Fictional!Matty feels the same way about Sally (which is also an interesting position for him to be in- he's a professional he's not supposed to get attached to horses like this...) Read the All the Kings Horses Chapter and OML I think this might be my favourite chapter yet!!! I love how much fictional Matty cares about his mare. And it being related to the horse he had before?!! Also so cute to see that fictional George might finally be warming up to him.

Are we going to find out more of Matty’s relationship with his mom in this AU or is it more of a leave it up to interpretation kind of thing? I loved the mention last chapter about what it was like for him riding as a kid. But honestly I’m excited over anything you wrote regardless.

I’m loving that the dynamic between the two of them is slowly changing. Possible friendship soon ??? Can’t wait to see what comes in the next chapter :)

I love horses so much and I'm having so much fun combining them with the boys 🥰 Fictional!Matty loves Sally SO MUCH, these feelings made even more complicated by her being the only foal of the mare he had the accident with 👀 Meanwhile, Fictional!George is finally warming up to him, he can't help it, Fictional!Matty is extremely cute, and now he's snuggling a horse?! That he loves?! Fictional!George is only human (even though he is resisting these feelings he. does. not. like. matty. goddammit. he may also be lying to himself)

Hehe you're going to have to see! All will be revealed eventually! 👀 Just know Fictional!Matty did not have a great childhood, or a great time as a teenager... or as a young adult, or honestly as an adult recently but WOW is he trying and desperate to keep a positive attitude, he has Sally it's all going to be alright, at least that's what he keeps telling himself.

Fictional!George is slowly warming up to Fictional!Matty, maybe he really isn't as bad as he thought? He's still unsure. But everyone else seems to like him and while he's suspicious, he is also defrosting lol Maybe he'll even start calling him Matty 😂
