Compilation of headcanons and analysis about DJ Subatomic Supernova as a father and dealing with parenthood.

glad you like it! I'm still working veeeeery slowly on the other love languages posts, but I lost steam halfway thru, so I'm procrastinating those by answering this one lolol

i'll leave the details as to how he becomes a father up to y'all, since i dont rlly care abt those specifics - adoption, biological kids, etc, up to yall!

DJSS never really considered starting a family nor having children.

As someone who priotizes his work first and foremost, having a family - let alone children who require attention 24/7 - just isn't a possibility in his book, DJSS considers it a setback rather than an ideal lifestyle. So fatherhood is something that's thrown at him and catches him by surprise, if that makes sense. I can only see him accepting such responsibility if it's the only option available, if there's absolutely no one and nowhere else the child can go to.

Once again, he's an outlier when compared to the other Megastars. They have themes of unity, bonding with others and different types of families, not just the nuclear family example: the Sayu Gang have each other, Yinu's parents are a huge an important part of her life, 1010 act as a unit and, whether you see Neon J as their parental figure or not, he's still responsible for them in a way. Eve connects with like-minded artists and her fans, Tatiana connects with the megastars, Vinyl City as a whole and Eve herself. Even DK West is here by virtue of being Zuke's brother. DJSS is just there, all alone.

I like to think that the time he spent working as a teacher had a big impact on him, growing disillusioned overtime with not only his passions but the concept of community - the current DJSS doesn't really see a point in nurturing any sort of relationship that isn't transactional nor profitable.

Some characters worry about being good parents and influences, some worry about their economic situations not being enough to support a child, and so on and so forth. DJSS simply doesn't care about any of that, he's got a stable life and is confident in his skills (at the very least, confident in his ability to learn how to care for a child pretty quickly). He just... never considered the idea of being a father.

Whether the kid is a boy or a girl or anything else, he doesn't care. He has no preference. The only opinion he has relates to the amount of kids he'll allow - which is one. The less kids running around, the better.

Treats parenthood like a job, basically. DJSS appears to be a neglectful parent on the outside, but is very attentive to his kid's needs.

There is always a sense of distance and a layer of feigned indifference when it comes to his very scarce relationships, this is no different.

During the first years, DJSS makes a point to treat his role as a father like a job - it's how he tackles things, seeing them as tasks to solve. His approach can be easily read as him being uninterested, maybe even neglectful - at least to outsiders. DJSS has cultivated quite the reputation, being a polarizing figure to the public and all, so the fact that he has a child certainly doesn't sit well with those who exclusively see him for being arrogant and irresponsible.

He's very private about this aspect of his life, ignoring any questions about his child or his struggles as a parent. It's easy to assume he just doesn't care at all.

Those who DO know DJSS are fully aware of his dedication, his work ethics might be unorthodox and only make sense to him but damn if he doesn't get the job done. The reason he can act so casual is because of the work he puts in behind the scenes, multitasking a hundred different things to ensure the kid is fully cared for. After all, the happier this kid is, the less troublesome they'll be.

I imagine that during the first years, he provides for the child without getting himself directly involved. If they show interest in something in particular, like dinosaurs for example, DJSS won't take them to any exhibits but he will buy them encyclopedias and leave documentaries on for them to watch. If they need interaction and friends, he'll set up weekly playdates with Yinu (if she's not too old) - maybe even let the other Megastars babysit his kid. They've all probably pestered him about bringing his kid to work just so they can meet them, finding babysitters isn't a problem.

Once again, distance. DJSS doesn't want his career to end so suddenly just because he has to take care of a human life. Until he finds his footing and comes to term with being a father, DJSS resorts to finding people who are properly equipped to care for the kid when needed, all while he ensures that all of their needs are met without directly stepping in.

He becomes very perceptive to his kid and any changes in their behaviour, being able to tell if they've had a bad day or if they're hiding something from him just from a few glances. DJSS makes sure to be informed about his kid's friends, their passions and hobbies, likes and dislikes... All so he can nudge them in the right direction or give them advice in his own subtle way.

I want to insist that this isn't a case of an unloving father who purposefully ignores his child. It's more so an issue of properly connecting and bonding with each other. DJSS knows them like the back of his hand, but only the things he's been able to gleam and observe - and his child? They wouldn't be able to tell you HIS favorite color. And yet they both care about each other in their own way. It's a very one-sided, complex family dynamic.

Contrary to popular belief, DJSS would not want to be his kid's teacher. But their education is still very important to him.

Does he have a lot of things to say about the current education system? Yes. Does he think he could do a better job than every single teacher in Vinyl City? Absolutely, his ego is big enough for that.

But when it comes to his kid's education, DJSS understands that he's been a little out of touch with the basics. He didn't get a degree to be an elementary or highschool teacher, after all.

While he can't pick them up from school or attend every single parent-teacher meeting, DJSS makes a point of meeting all of his kid's teachers to ensure they're taking their jobs seriously and also keeps up with the curriculum - just in case his kid has any trouble with homework. Part of him does want them to have great grades, as otherwise would reflect poorly on him, but at the end of the day, DJSS would want them to do their best, to learn out of a genuine sense of curiosity.

I can see DJSS and his kid having study sessions, in which he casually complains about all the new things that he "should know about" like the old man he is, but feeling a surge of pride whenever his kid corrects him - something about seeing himself in them and whatnot. If they end up becoming interested in his own field of work, he'll be SO smug and happy about it.

Let's be honest, his kid is bound to have at least some interest in something space-adjacent given... Well, their father being a literal black hole and astrophysicist. It would be suuuuper funny to me if his kid became interested in astrology instead during their rebellious teens, just to spite him. Either way, if they choose something else entirely, he'll support them (after some nagging like "are you SURE that's what you want?" etc).

Maybe this is the way he could properly bond with his kid, while also rekindling his love for teaching and letting go of some bitter old habits and views.

DJSS is the type of parent who really starts to connect with his kid once they grow up, when the passage of time hits him all at once and he worries about them not being close.

Somehow, it's easier to DJSS to deal with a rebellious teenager or a struggling young adult than dealing with a child or toddler.

Probably one of the very few characters who can stand having a sassy kid who talks back or drops the most devastating comebacks ever - he can't complain there, they picked up that attitude directly from HIM, he can tell. They've absolutely heard him talk down to NSR staff and anyone who pisses him off.

I get the feeling he and his kid would banter a lot, growing closer while struggling to find ways of being vulnerable around each other - because another thing that his kid gets from him is that lingering distance. They're probably used to independence, to doing things on their own and not ask for help unless strictly necessary because that's exactly DJSS' own modus operandi.

So it's all awkward, baby steps towards progress. But the second DJSS and his kid become besties, it's absolutely OVER for everyone else. Everyone in NSR knows better than to try and out-sass them when they're together.

Expect a lot of debates, just a lot of them about anything and everything. Either for shits and giggles, to discuss theories or really in-depth stuff. People often assume they're arguments because of how seriously he and his kid seem to take it, but it's all in good fun.

Personally, as combative and defensive DJSS can be when it comes to subjects he's passionate about (or because of his pettiness), I don't see him being the type to ever argue with his kid. At this point, he's fully come to terms with his role as their dad. If there's anyone worth listening to on this side of the universe is his kid. Had it been anyone else, he would've just walked out the door and ignored them, but that's his kid. Their opinion is important to him.

And here's a random assortment of headcanons I don't have enough to expand on!

DJSS is absolutely the type of parent who gloats and brags about anything his kid achieves to every single other parents in the vicinity. He might have a hard time being verbally and physically affectionate with his kid, but damn if he doesn't love talking everyone's ears off about their achievements.

He doesn't take many photos nor have any dedicated albums to them as a family, but he 100% saves all of their tests and essays and homework and drawings.

Has a lot of small tapes recorded throughout the years for his kid. These range from sneaky recordings of them as a kid babbling about silly things, him reading bedtime stories to them when they were young, heartfelt apologies or speeches that he never got the courage to say outloud, retellings of specific events like their first failed exam, their first broken bone, their first trip somewhere... Or very domestic things like grocery shopping lists, etc etc. He's dramatic and extra like that.

Least likely to threaten his kid's romantic partner to treat them right or else. DJSS trusts their judgement. However, expect to be blacklisted from any NSR-owned facility and store within Cast Tech should you break his kid's heart.

I like to think that his kid calls Eve "Auntie" and that she's the only one within NSR to get that special treatment, since I HC DJSS and Eve as besties <3. She's also the one to save them from DJSS' fashion sense cause he thinks it's perfectly fine to wear shorts in the middle of winter.

DJSS is entirely indifferent about their preference for EDM or Rock, that's their business. But he would love to be involved when/if his kid starts to dabble in music.

DJSS does have space-themed nicknames for his kid, but he's worried about being cringe so he only uses them whenever his kid isn't within earshot. He couldn't care less about random people hearing him use these nicknames and whatnot, but as much as he denies it, he wants his kid to think he's cool.

NSR AMA File 2 (part 2)

If B2J and the bosses have shadow animals like DK West what would they be? DISCLAIMER NONE OF THIS IS CANON. Sayu is a cat (Ellie's answer shocked Daim). Zuke is a zucchini. Mayday is a lemur (like King Julien). Eve is platypus(Ellie)/octopus(Daim)/peacock(Haz)???

Tatiana's broadcast after the DJSS fight was 3D projected instead of 2D animated, any particular reason why? Just a production choice, it was easier and more effective. It was inspired a bit by Space Channel 5's first boss, which also had the final boss show up on a monitor.

Any plans to do spin-off medias light LNs etc.? No plans so far. NSR is something they hold dearly so it'll be hard for them to find creators to partner with. They'll be very strict on who can nail the spirit of NSR.

Were there any NPCs that didn't make it into the game? There were a couple, like a beggar and a witch doctor who can predict the future (but none of them happens in the game).

Ellie's least favorite character to design? 1010 but only because she thinks she's not good at drawing guys and she hates drawing robots. The reason NJ and 1010 have butt plates is thanks to Ellie referencing Ben's gundam models. Also Ellie's favorite 1010 is Blue because she likes the hairstyle, the sunglasses, and the color blue.

Ben's most/least favorite character to animate? Least favorite is Eve, he thinks he didn't do a good enough job with her. Most favorite is 1010, the shuffle is fun to animate.

Will there be a Malay dub for NSR? They want to but time and money do be like that, also they want it to be great and local talents aren't enough.

What is the studio thinking of doing next? SURPRISE FREE CHRISTMAS DLC! New character designs, christmas-themed boss arenas, and christmas remixes for the soundtracks. Also MERCH TIME!!! DJ Sub hoodie is in the works.

Why are all of Tatiana's clocks set to 8:21? It's a sad clock face (like how 10:10 is a happy face). It's a total coincidence that August 21st is the death of the American soprano, Tatiana Troyanos.

Inspiration for Vinyl City's design? The districts are tied to the charter's personalities. DJSS's area looks the least maintained because he doesn't pay too much attention to its development. As you progress the more it gets flashier and fancier because the bosses progressively give their districts more funding. Yinu looks like a rose and her mother is very protective of her, which is why there are domes with plants inside everywhere in the district. The Plaza area is influenced by Malaysian urban architecture.

Does Neon J see 1010 as his children? It wasn't planned, but they love the fanon concept. If a sequel happens they can adopt the idea. (Daim says it's adorable, and 1010 would also see him as a father figure.)

Were character animations lipsynced for every language? They recorded English first, but there are some parts of the game they couldn't record in time. So it was like midway English but then the JP schedule came barreling in so they had to record Japanese first. The timing ended up being weird. Unfortunately, they had to cut French and Japanese voices to match the English version because the English version is the most accurate one.

Where is Vinyl City on the globe? Does it get monsoons? They'd like to keep the area fictional for now. It's definitely on Earth since the solar system is the same.

Why does Eve have two skintones? She was born with it. The progression of Eve from childhood to adulthood is a journey from self-hatred to self-love.

Why does Zuke collect toilet seats? It's an inside joke. They had a friend in high school who likes to put toilet seats on their friend's chairs. Whenever Ellie gets the opportunity she will slip a toilet seat into the game. Toilets became a recurring joke between them.

Does 1010 boys have different positions? (Daim: that's a cool question, but we have no actual answers.) Ellie and Haz think Green is the rapper.

Did you have any scrapped ideas for music genres? Probably no because the genre was not the main focus when they first designed the bosses. They started with themes and trends in the music industry instead of the genre. Fun fact for DJSS, at every phase he had a whole paragraph of lectures.

How old is Kliff and what does he do? He's around Tatiana's age or even older, past 50. What he does is undecided, they won't lock that in yet.

What is DJ Zam's neck tattoo? Love Mom tattoo (Ellie's answer). DJ Zam loves his mom!

Does Yinu's mom turn into a giant tree monster out of anger towards B2J or is it an effect of her husband's death? The tree design is part of her, not just because of anger. Their family has a strong connection to flowers and plant motifs.

Neon J's skill upgrade is specified to be napalm? It just sounded cool.

Thought process behind designing Eve and timeline between the Rupturika festival and Eve joining NSR? Daim started the two-tone design for Eve. In her initial design she's wearing a simple collar shirt and pants, like office wear. Ellie made it a bit more weird, so she added the jacket (Ariana Grande), leotard (Beyonce), and pasties. Eve had multiple limbs (Bjork) from the beginning of conception. No lore locked in for Rupturika.

What first sparked the creation of NSR? Haz had the idea first. He wanted to make a game based on music that isn't a rhythm game. Music is a universal language, so there must be something they can do with it. They always play with rhythm and beats but never with other aspects of music, like its rules. They're also inspired by underdog stories like Gurren Lagann. From there Daim fleshed out the characters. The idea was birthed around 2014 while in Japan.

How did Zuke know how to do mechanics stuff like workshop upgrades? Zuke learns and reads a lot, not just about music but also his side interests. He's a naturally inquisitive character. Zuke was the one who implemented Mayday's guitar canister.

Since Neon J's head is a monitor, does he have a brain? He still has a brain, his internal organs are still inside. (Daim: his brain is squished in the monitor? Haz: they took his brain and squished it into his butt plate- NOT CANON)

Qwasa converting music into energy? There was an argument between Daim and Aidi. Aidi wanted the lore to be more grounded, like the Qwasa being a crystal. Daim didn't think it was necessary to explain the "science". In the end it worked out for the game's storytelling.

Which NSR bosses are introverts and extroverts? Introverts: Eve, DJSS (could be ambi), Zuke, Sayu (4 introverts in one). Extroverts: Neon J, DK West, Mayday.

Can Neon J see? How does he see with his sonar head? Daim doesn't want to answer that now, but Haz says it would be cool if he's blind. Neon J is a bit self-conscious, so he only got the courage to take the spotlight in the battle with B2J.

In canon, how long does everyone end up living? When will they… die?

I don't know, depends how I'm feeling honestly. Like there's no real way of saying when someone is going to die since there are a lot of factors that go into life and death.

Yinu and Mama could get into a car accident on their way to the NSR tower. Sofa could go into anaphylaxis shock from being exposed to peanuts. Neon could go to bed and all his cybernetics decide to shit the bed and he never wakes up again.

Like, depending on how I feel I make up different stories and ending for the characters. I've had plenty where Neon is dying in a hospital because he refuses to get the surgery he needs because it would remove the last human parts of him and he doesn't want that.

I've had some stories where 1010 die as children because of a horrible accident before they were ever even able to be adopted by Neon. A few stories where Eve commits suicide or Tatiana gets shot somehow.

Then there are stories where Mama lives until she is 90 and get to watch Yinu grow up fully. Or 1010 outlives everyone because of them being robots. It all really changes on chance and what story you want to tell.

I personally don't go into the future that much with my own stories. Even the Failed Revolution AU only goes like 5 years into the future. I don't like going past certain timelines because it gets convoluted or the characters don't stay in touch as much so it's not as fun to think about them since that would mean I'd have to create all kinds of new characters for them to interact with when I would prefer to stick to the main cast.

So yeah. I don't really have a canon life expectancy for everyone. Like that is not even counting elemental entities of characters where like DJ will most likely live much longer than the average human while Mama's life depends on how well she keeps up her body (which is also true to humans but she is susceptible to different kinds of diseases because of her plant half).

I guess I would say that mostly everyone lives to at least their 70s at some point. Maybe Purl and Asa might have a shorter life because of drugs and smoking. Zuke might get a sickness that leaves him dead sooner than 50. Mama might pass away earlier than 60. Tatiana could live very long or die from a stress related heart attack or something.

Sorry if this isn't what you were looking for. I just tend to reset my stories in my head when I start getting too far beyond the current timeline. That's why I don't go into "next generation" things with kids or something most of the time. Because I just don't see the appeal as much as other people do. Wish I could, but I am a person who resets the Sims when I get 2 generations in, so I am a very short sighted person lol.

Headcanons on last names for the main msr cast? (Ignoring Tatiana since hers is shown in-game)

Anon this has been in my drafts for ages because I got ambitious to do all of the main cast and then couldn’t think of names for half of them. But I want to get this post out there, so...here’s the ones I have. It’s not everybody, maybe if I manage to come up with more I’ll make another post.

Rigel* Stellarum (DJSS)

Rigel is the brightest star in the constellation of Orion, and a blue supergiant. With a name like that, of course he'd be full of himself. He's got a blue color scheme too; even his head has a blue color to it, maybe he was named after a blue star for that.

"Stellarum" is not a real word, but it is used to describe the DJ's genre officially. His genre doesn't seem to be a recognized one, so perhaps in-universe too his music was so unique that a subgenre was named after him. Also, I think his space object head and space-themed powers may have been inherited, so the family name would be something space-related.

Dodo Alamagua

An alamang is a type of Indonesion sword, and agua or aqua refers to water. Water can be used in reference to Sayu, Dodo’s blue skin, or because I just think he could have fluid natural movements. Sword taking inspiration from how he seems to carry a sword on his back. The notes corresponding to Do and Do are A and A, hence why I chose two roots starting with A.

Yinu Rosaceae

This is the family name for roses and related plants. Shares the name with her parents, from her father.

Daun Rosaceae (Yinu's Father)

"Daun" is a Malay word for "leaf" (if Google Translate is at all accurate). I think a leaf name would be fitting for him, as leaves provide energy for the rest of the plant, as he provided love for his family. It also sounds like "dawn," which I think would fit for his golden appearance.

Marion Amaranth* Rosaceae (Yinu's Mother)

Honestly she just strikes me as someone with an M name. Also, Marionberries - These berries are red and turn a near-black dark red when ripe, and have thorns. Sounds like a both sweet and defensive plant.

Amaranth is her maiden name. This is a type of flower that is actually a cluster of flowers in long red bunches. It looks a bit like her hair! I also just like the way it sounds, and how "Marion Amaranth" sounds together.

Jay* Nam (Neon J)

Truth be told I just saw other people call him Jay and have stuck with it. It's short, it's cute, and it's not that far off from "J" which some people may call him anyways.

Nam is a Korean name that allegedly came from a sailor who got blown off course and landed in Korea, which strikes me as a fitting origin. I like the hc that he's Korean. Along with his first name, this would also make his initials JN, the reverse of a possible shortening of his stage name as NJ.

1010 don’t have last names.

Initially, they were programmed only to respond to their color names. However, after they started signing autographs, which were meant to be illegible, fans managed to find letters in the signatures and made up names for 1010. With fans then calling them by names other than color, they were made to respond to those names as well.

*The names Rigel, Jay, and Amaranth came from this headcanon post. I just liked the names so much I adopted the same headcanons.

While I don’t have solidified names, here are my thoughts on the others:

Zuke, West, and Nadia have Malaysian last names of some fashion

The rest of the Sayu Squad also have last names where the roots come from the corresponding notes to their first names (Ex. Tila would be G and F).

Mayday selected her first name because she didn’t like how posh her birth name sounded

You joke but after I saw that movie I IMMEDIATELY made a encanto au. A little different though. I sorta made the connection of like. Mayday and Pepa both have storm powers and so I went "What if encanto au but in place of the madrigal kids is some fankids"

Like obviously doing it with the main cast in current day would be very fitting and all but you know me, I'm a sucker for fankid content. Ofc I had to make up a couple more to fill in the roles for the rest of the kiddos.

I went back and forth on a lot of things, but ultimately went with the fankid idea bc Alma was always a good person she just went through a lot of shit and it affected her behavior, but in the end of it all she was just. Y'know. A woman who wanted to best for her family and was afraid of losing them. Tatiana's parents were always straight up assholes and deserve no redemption, they were always terrible and so I think that was another driving point to me placing Tatiana in Abuela's role rather than one of her parents. Besides I saw a lot of similarity in the two so that also contributed. The roles I had set up were- Abuela= Tatiana Pepa= Mayday Félix= Eve Julieta= Zuke Augustín= Rin Bruno= DK West Mirabel= The one Rin/Zuke kid we discussed before, I think her name was Spring? Isabela= I don't have a name for her yet but she's sorta the most human-looking kiddo from the bunch, still very clearly part robot but y'know. Luisa= I will not put shame to my fav's name and just NOT have the fankid in her place NOT be as buff as she is. I love Luisa so much so this kid has a special place in my heart. Sorry Spring. Also do not have a name for this one. Dolores= Don't really have much development for him yet, again, half these kids were sorta on the spot. I do think he should have the whole six-arm thing eve's got going on, idk why it just feels like it'd fit. Camilo= Ariel!!! At least I think that was the name of my may/eve kid. Antonio= Not much development on this one as well, just Babey.

And obviously we'd have to make some room for the others, but hey, magic house, it can always be a little bigger. Also, if I remember correctly, it's canon that even if kids were adopted into the family, they would still receive a gift so...we can mess around with that.

There aren’t that many space-themed pokemon so narrowing down some fitting choices for him is hard but my first choice for him would be Deoxys, specifically the defense form since it’s more similar to DJ’s silhouette. They both can change their shape to some degree, they both have spaghetti arms, and they both have an orb as part of their designs, the only difference being DJ’s orb being his head and Deoxy’s orb in its chest actually being its brain. But if you don’t like the idea of him being a mythical pokemon then minior is a good option for him too, and a hilarious one because DJ is supposed to be a huge and hefty guy and then you got minior who is tiny. Aesthetically, Cosmoem would’ve been a good choice for him, but idk how I feel about assigning him a pokemon that’s literally described to be a lifeless cacoon.

Sayu

If we were to consider Sayu’s form changes, I would actually make her the entire Popplio line; Popplio being the 1st standard form, Brionne being the 2nd, and Primarina being the 3rd. I’ve also thought about what team Sayu could be too; Tila being Jigglypuff, Remi being Smeargle, Dodo being a Kirlia, and Sofa maybe being a Porygon or a Porygon2. In the PMD world, Sayu could be an illusion brought to life thanks to the efforts of Dodo’s psychic abilities and the like.

DK West

If Zuke is a Treecko/Grovyle, then by default DK West would be Grovyle/Sceptile. The reason I picked the Treecko line for Zuke is because of the chill vibes the entire line gives off, and West is pretty chill too in his own way. Otherwise, he could be something like a Gengar for its ability to manipulate shadows and a tendency to mess with others (i.e. Zuke)

Yinu and Mama

It’s pretty obvious that they’ll be a Budew and a Roserade because of the rose motif, although I think Yinu could work as a Roselia too. I think it could work for her character as a prodigy for a young child like her to have already evolved.

1010 and Neon J

I could be predictable and make 1010 the eeveelutions; Red/Zimelu = Flareon, Blue/Purl-Hew = Vaporeon, Yellow/Haym = Jolteon, Green/Eloni = Leafeon, White/Rin = Glaceon or Sylveon, but I also like the idea of making 1010 Pawniards and Neon J a Bisharp because all of Bisharp’s pokedex entries talk about how it commands its own troop of Pawniard. Plus Pawniard and Bisharp are all part steel type which works with their robot/cyborg aesthetic well

With that said, I don’t not like the idea of making 1010 the eeveelutions. After all, what the two groups have in common is that while they’re both widely beloved they are also incredibly overrated. It just leaves the question of what Neon J could be because so far my other best pick for him would be Xurkitree, because both of them have a passion for dance apparently. And idk about you but there’s something very endearing about an extraterrestrial lifeform and a bunch of dogs adopting each other as a family unit. Sometimes a family can be some sentient cables and their five dogs.

EDIT: FALINKS! Falinks is also a good choice for 1010 and NJ! Can’t believe I forgot about them they were so obvious 🤦‍♀️

EDIT 2: A friend from a discord server I’m in also suggested Silvally for Neon J for the eeveelution 1010s. Silvally Neon J can change his type to reflect the boys’ much like how he can use them as weapons in the final phase of 1010′s fight

Eve

It’s either Gardevoir or Medicham. Gardevoir can distort dimensions and its design suits Eve’s diva aesthetic well. But if Gardevoir’s too predictable of a choice, I also suggest Medicham because they both have a similar colour scheme (white and magenta) and Medicham’s mega evolution sprouts another pair of hands like how Eve can.

Tatiana

I want Tatiana to be some kind of legendary, preferably a fire type. Dialga sounds fitting because both of them have time control abilities, but then I saw someone suggest Groudon for Tatiana too which I also really like the idea of. Some less powerful and non-deity-like options I’ve considered are Entei and Moltres, both kantonian and galarian, though I think galarian Moltres matches Tatiana's intimidating stature more. I had also considered Arcanine for her too, even though it’s not a legendary pokemon in a true sense it is classified as ‘the legendary pokemon.’

BONUS

Kliff

I really like the idea of Kliff being a Rotom for his gift at hacking into machines and being tech savy.

A Totodile. They both almost look alike. She could be Team B2J’s third member

Your goodkliff au is really good! I thought that the satellite crash could be caused by a meteorite or something malfunctioning. I also kinda imagine him as kinda a dad to BBJ

GoodKliff Kliff is very much a dad to BBJ, and to the kids that pilot Sayu! A bit to Yinu, but Yinu’s mom is fussy about the guy who sent two teens to crash her daughter’s performance.

Kliff does dad jokes to everyone he meets. Mayday hates them while Zuke tolerates them. Then Neon J and DJSS actually join in, although DJSS gets irritated by it pretty quickly since he hasn’t adopted/created anyone yet, therefore his dad jokes aren’t as good.

For more dad content let’s say he has dialogue for when Mayday or Zuke get a game over. Like “No!”, “MAYDAY!!”, “ZUKE!!”. He’s very concerned about their safety during fights

I was wondering how to make the satellite crash because that is what gets BBJ and NSR to work together. Let’s face it canon Kliff’s betrayal was mostly to resolve that conflict. I think it could be the lack of power the satellite is receiving because BBJ took out the people powering it. That way they’re still responsible for something Really Bad, and have to fix their mistakes.

Kliff’s end dialogue is more warning about the debris falling, the state of the satellite, and what district they need to give back to EDM next. Meanwhile apologizing to Tatiana the entire way.

Despite this being GoodKliff AU, I do kind of want him to have a boss fight. I don’t know how or why, but I have some interesting ideas for it. If you have a suggestion, feel free to share!

Three questions about you HK/NSR crossover, (don't wanna spam: 1: How do the Trankil show affection for their caretakers? is it just hugs and stuff, or do they each have their own way? 2: Has vinal city discovered the Trankil love of hot springs? 3: (possible sads!) Have any of them taken a hit that forced them into shade form? Can they even still do that?

Sorry for the delay, brain’s not been cooperating as of late.

Q2: Trankil caretakers are very much aware that they love warm water. I know Malaysia does have hot springs, but I’m not sure if they have any in Vinyl City (probably, but I’m not sure where they’d put the trankil there). Normally they just draw up a warm bath and the trankil are fine with that, though they tend to spill over a lot.

As for the other stuff:

Q1: Aye, there’s a lot of ways they show affection besides the normal overt type.

Ghost tends to act rather defensively when out and about with the band; stepping in between them and a perceived threat, for instance. This does draw some concern from Mayday and Zuke, but they appreciate the gesture. They also tend to hold Elliegator like a ferret sometimes.

Comet’s still pretty young, so their understanding of affection is limited, but they do sometimes bring DJSS little “gifts” of random things they found on the ground when they occasionally visit a park or something, kind of like how little kids sometimes bring their parents or guardians pine cones or neat rocks they found.

Bunny is on the more physically affectionate side. They like to lean against their guardians when relaxing to leech off their body heat, a bit like a cat. They also tend to express happiness with hand squeezes; one is “happy,” two is “very happy,” and three is “VERY happy.”

Thorn also does the protective thing with Yinu, much to their mom’s chagrin. However, they also tend to dote on their adoptive little sister, sneaking her sweets and lending a listening ear when she wants to talk at length about something.

Scotty does the hand-squeezy thing with Neon J and 1010, as well as just generally being... present? They like spending a lot of time with their guardians, and doing stuff together with them.

Riley is the “helpful” sort of affectionate; they tend to volunteer to help Eve with her artwork when she lets them, much to her delight. Handing her paints and tools, painting pieces for a sculpture, stuff like that.

Sterling tends to keep to a professional level of friendliness towards Tatiana, but when they feel affectionate, it’s usually something along the lines of a shoulder hug or something like that. Not too touchy feely, that one, besides with the younger trankil.

Q3: No. I’m going by Steel Soul rules here; if a vessel’s shell breaks, they’re essentially dead. Vinyl City may be a chaotic place to live, but it’s not like Hallownest where literally everything is trying to kill you. The trankil don’t have to worry about that here.

Some updates to the HK/NSR crossover AU, since the original was made pre-release (the following does contain spoilers!):

Ghost

Ran away from the Trankil Adoption Agency due to finding most humans too restrictive on their freedom; they’re accustomed to being able to come and go as they please, and the agency doesn’t really approve of trankil running around unattended. BBJ are more relaxed about it, leading to the little one being along the lines of a latchkey trankil.

Mayday and Zuke earn their trust by buying them food and helping them clean up in the restaurant’s bathroom, rather than just grabbing them and dragging them back to the agency. Aunty, for one, adores them, due to their sweet little face and how eagerly they eat her cooking.

Has pulled a knife on Kliff, multiple times, because he’s creepy as hell and sets off all their alarms, much to the exasperation of Zuke and Mayday. He tries bribing them with toys and snacks up until his betrayal, after which he almost gets stabbed again before BBJ drag Ghost with them to stop the fans.

Zuke doesn’t let them draw their blade in the sewer or on the streets, normally, but he doesn’t necessarily ban them from sharps entirely. He can tell they know how to use them, though he opts to let them use a kitchen knife instead of the haphazard scrap of metal they’ve been swinging around on the streets.

Zam has attempted to conduct interviews with Ghost before, but finds himself mostly just perplexed at their answers. "Okay, I’m looking at what appear to be, uh, hieroglyphics of some kind. I can see something that kind of looks like a rhinoceros beetle head... They’re shaking their head ‘no.’” The little section where he interviews them is nicknamed Ghost Tour.

Comet

They were sleeping in DJ Subatomic Supernova’s apartment at the time of the battle, since he didn’t think he’d need their help. They’re too small to be asked for a whole lot, anyway; he mostly has them around to keep himself company and have someone to talk to (or at, as the case may be).

Their sound energy absorbing powers would probably be enough to deactivate some of NSR’s robots; it comes in handy when the rogue robots are getting in the way of reinstating their guardian as charter.

Their favorite stuffed animal is a toy dolphin that DJSS calls Delphinus, though Comet calls them Splashy when they learn how to write.

As they grow older, their horns begin pointing backward and eventually curling into a similar shape to ram’s horns.

DJSS secretly relishes in the opportunity to have a legacy in the form of taking care of Comet, though he doesn’t know that they are probably more likely to carry his name farther into the future than any drones he sends up to space.

Bunny

They live with Remi, the artist and leader of the Sayu team. He treats them much like a little sibling, in the nice way, and gets them to watch some of the more family-friendly anime he watches; they’re particularly fond of Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball Z, even if they keep dismantling the figures he gets them. They’re much gentler with the plushies, though.

It takes a few weeks of watching Dodo and Sofa work on machinery to get them learning how to build stuff as well as break it. They make it an entire thing when they grow older, working on machinery.

They eventually grow cheek spines, not unlike some depictions of the adult Ghost, and otherwise heavily resemble Hornet as an adult. Much taller than her, though.

Sayu’s kind of reluctant to attack Ghost because they resemble Bunny so much; “You’re too cute to fight!” Zuke doesn’t like the idea of Ghost acting like a trankil shield in fights, but it does help throw off her aim.

Thorn

Yinu’s mom specifically chose the former Broken Vessel because they were the only trankil that expressed any interest in Yinu’s infodumping about classical music. They even responded to questions with head shaking or nodding.

They come to Yinu’s side after her piano breaks, letting go of their fight with Ghost quickly enough; they don’t fault their sibling for doing what they thought was right, even if they don’t understand it, but they believed Yinu needed their support more.

They’re taking violin lessons, as it’s a touch easier to adjust to playing with four fingers on that then on piano. They get pretty good at it as an adult, though in the modern day their playing is a touch mediocre.

After their performance at Yinu’s concert, fighting in her defense with a stolen machete, Yinu’s mom at first grounds Thorn for stealing and playing with sharps, but concedes to put them in a fencing program to “get it out of their system.” They turn out a lot more competent than the instructors were expecting, and intimidate the crap out of their peers. When they’re older they take up a proper swordfighting class.

Yinu does wind up joining them in learning fencing, after her mother gets a recommendation to get her to get more exercise to avoid literally rooting herself to her piano (not an unusual issue for plant folks; they have to move pretty regularly or else they get stuck in one spot and have to be cut out). Her mom worries that she takes to it a touch too eagerly, perhaps because of her relative helplessness.

Thorn acts fairly stoic and polite most of the time, but they can be quite the handful when something piques their interest. They get banned from at least one Renaissance fair due to playing with the swords or poking the roasting pig. Yinu starts covering for them after they start bribing her with extra sweets.

Scotty

Neon J initially treated them like a trainee when he got them, but it quickly slipped into adopted child territory when he realized just how young they were. He did want kids back when he was human, so he took very quickly to the role of adoptive father.

Scotty is very good at learning language and patterns, so they wind up learning English writing pretty quickly for one of their kind. Because of this, Neon J becomes one of the few privy to the nature of the vessels, though he is uncharacteristically quiet about it.

1010 adores Scotty, occasionally posting about them on social media, making them a bit of a fandom darling, though the band does have to put out PSAs about not getting a trankil irresponsibly.

Scotty’s favorite food is cheese tarts and cheese danishes, which they tend to be awarded for good behavior.

Scotty is a very active child; they dance, they run around the mansion, they swim in the pool (and just about any fountain they run across, much to Neon J’s embarrassment), and they can’t be brought within 100 feet of a dog park without trying to pet every animal in the vicinity.

They try their best to comfort their adoptive dad when he’s suffering from phantom pains or flashbacks, though they don’t know the techniques very well. Their usual method is gently patting his hand or leaning against him (among vessels they’d be leaning against each other in large groups, leading to one big cuddle pile; they can’t do it here by themselves, but they’ll sure as hell try).

Much to Neon J’s embarrassment, they become quite the potty mouth (er, hands) when they get older. He’s a sailor, he slips up every now and then!

Riley

The former Greenpath Vessel is rather happy to leave behind the harsh life they lived back in Hallownest, though they find the most success in recounting their old life through art.

Eve tends to be a very dramatic teacher, but quite gentle with her little friend. She couldn’t have asked for a more enthusiastic student, though.

Eve’s quite protective of the little thing; she’s not quite as heartbroken about Zuke’s abandonment due to the company of her apprentice/adopted child, but the thought of them being taken away tends to scare her quite a bit. As such, she tends to spoil them rotten, though they’re still quite sweet.

Riley has a degree of PTSD from their experience in Hallownest; they’re very sensitive to sounds and movement in their peripheral, and have bitten and scratched people on more than one occasion for getting in their bubble without proper warning or consent. Eve’s pretty good about avoiding their blindspot and having her footsteps make noise they can track.

Eve’s among the first to learn about the Lord of Shades and the dream realm due to her teaching her magic painting to Riley. With her help, they created the Dark Mirror, which allows people to enter a sort of waking simulation of the dream realm, though it tends to seriously disorient people not accustomed to messing with reality (musicians tend to do fine, but normal folks? Not so much). It becomes a very useful communication tool when discussing Hallownest and how it functioned.

Sterling

The former Hollow Knight views themselves as deeply indebted to Tatiana, though also viewing her as a friend. She gave them a name, a new purpose, and an opportunity to live again without the constraints of their failed duty; of course they’re going to feel kind of guilty about it.

Only the NSR artists and a few select NSR personnel have seen them in person, and the first thing people tend to notice is their sheer size. Tatiana worries how much renovations will have to be done to accommodate the rest of their kin once they grow up, if they wind up matching their eldest sibling.

They tend to have a reasonably positive relationship with the artists, due to their kindness towards the vessels and generally respectful attitude towards the behemoth of a trankil. DJSS tends to rant about space in their general direction as his idea of small talk, and they tolerate it. He also not so subtly squees when he sees Comet interacting with their elder sibling. Sayu’s team thinks they’re anime hero levels of cool, sword and all, and Bunny tends to agree, trying to challenge them to fight. Yinu’s mom tends to scrutinize them as reference for Thorn’s later growth, though Yinu herself and Thorn tend to climb the adult trankil like a tree for fun. Neon J respects them deeply as a knight and technical prince, though Scotty’s pretty content to try and get them to play when they visit. Eve appreciates their good manners and willingness to listen, and Riley rather likes showing them their drawings.

Tatiana tends to treat Sterling as something of a confidante, due to their quiet nature and strong sense of loyalty. She worries they idolize her a touch too much to be healthy, but knowing what she does about their past, she’s not sure if a human therapist would help.

The wings grew in a couple weeks before the Rock Revolution; evidently they hadn’t developed quite enough to develop them before they had been sealed, leading to serious back troubles during their fight before their rebirth. It was a pretty chaotic affair helping them through their last molt, considering the other trankil who’ve been molting had a lot less to shed.

Tatiana tends to scold Sterling for digging through her old rock cassettes, though she comes to regret it after the whole debacle with BBJ.

Sterling’s way more ruthless than Tatiana asks for or is fully aware of; they tend to take threats to their new life, siblings, and new companions very, very seriously, and god help the poor soul who convinces them to act. Kliff doesn’t last long after the Rock Revolution, because of this, not that anyone notices.

Misc

The vessels were united under the leadership of Ghost to create the Lord of Shades, and upon killing and absorbing the Radiance, they’ve essentially become the collective gods of the Dream Realm as well as the Void and probably Death too. The level of focus and cooperation needed to fully activate these powers is incredibly high, especially after the vessels begin developing individual personalities, so there won’t be any casual appearances of the Shade Lord any time soon.

Vessels don’t need to eat to grow for the first five or six years of their life, as they have a lot of soul energy stored in their bodies from birth to facilitate growth in the Abyss (their “yolk”), but once that’s expended they won’t grow any more until they gain a stable food source and a safe environment to molt, hence why Ghost spent such a long time being so small, despite being the same age as Sterling. While not eating won’t kill them, humans don’t know that.

The average height for an adult vessel is 8 feet, from the bottom of their feet to base of their horns, whereas a newly hatched vessel (like Comet) is about the size of a tennis ball curled up.

People who aren’t accustomed to the otherworldly presence of the trankil tend to freak out when they’re nearby; the sheer emptiness of their eyes, the expressionless faces, the inhuman size and proportions all give anybody not used to it the heebie-jeebies. Of course, Vinyl City locals stopped caring pretty shortly after they first got the trankil.

Sayu x Her Crew: Talking about this one first since seeing the Red Line that Connects Sayu to Sayu might be Confusing, it’s meant to be Sayu x Her Crew (Tila, Remi, Dodo, and Sofa). Creator x Creation Ship Dynamics aren’t something i really ship often but i still find them Interesting! Plus this Ship just sounds really Wholesome? Sayu’s Crew are likely Considered Social Outcasts or are just Socially Awkward/Introverted, So them Being Loved by Someone as Sweet and Unhateful as Sayu just melts my Heart ;w;

Eve x Zuke: Exes falling back in Love is Great and i Love that Ship Dynamic so Much. I Always liked the Idea of Zuke and Eve becoming Friends with eachother again and Slowly rebuilding their Love for eachother. It’s just really Cute to think about!

Neon J x DJSS: I Don’t know what to say about these Two, I Just think they’re really Cute! I Probably Ship for the same reasons everyone else does.

1010 x 1010: Okay i should say this, I’ve never viewed 1010 as Brothers. since the Very First Video i saw of them it never Crossed my mind that they could be Brothers until i saw the Growing Fandom on Tumblr and saw how much everyone did view them as Brothers. I will always see them as Close Friends/Band Members and nothing will change that. Biological Relationships between Robots don’t even work the Same as Human Ones do, so 1010 can’t even truly be Related to eachother. It irks me How Willing People are to Shun and Hate Others who ship them, Unless the Creators come out and say they are meant to be related i will not think they are.

I’m Surprised i didn’t get any Ship Vibes when i first saw that seen from Eve’s Boss Fight (also surprised i haven’t seen much ship art of the two, though i don’t usually Browse Tags for characters other than 1010)

Mayday x Zuke: This one is almost leaning into Neutral, I just don’t really see them as much of a Couple and see them more as Friends. I Still like the Ship art of them though!

Sayu and Yinu: I Never initially thought of them ever having some kind of Relationship but now i can’t stop thinking of Sayu being like a Big Sister to Yinu!! The Poor Girl could use someone like her

Neon J and 1010: I May not view 1010 as being Related to eachother but i do View them as Being Related to Neon J as Father and Sons as much as a Robot can be. He did make them afterall

Sayu/Her Crew, Yinu, and Yinu’s Mom: Yinu and Yinu’s Mom are self explanatory like DK West and Zuke, but Sayu is where more Explanation is Needed. Honestly, i just Love the Idea of Yinu’s Mom casually Adopting Sayu and The Crew Looking up to Yinu’s Mom as a Mother Figure, While all of them also Consider Yinu like their Little Sister. I Don’t like the Idea of Yinu’s Mom adopting the Crew though, i HC the Crew all have Loving Parents/Families of their Own!

Eloni x Mayday: I just Don’t Quite Understand this Ship? Mostly from a Canon standpoint as i imagine Mayday would like Rin more, However i still think this Ship has Potential and can be pretty Interesting to think about!

Rin x Zuke/Zukerin/Onionshipping: This’ll delve into Personal Territory but Please Listen. Before when i first saw it Popping up i didn’t think much of it, and It’s Possible this could’ve been put in Neutral if not for the Bad Feelings this ship began to bring me. I Started seeing it everywhere, even on my Dash from Artists i like. It annoyed me that this Ship was so popular which idk why it did, but it did. Seeing how much people liked it while hating 1010 x 1010 just. Hurt me. Recently as i’ve started going through lots of Self Hatred for who i am i’ve been considering Forcing myself to like it. I’ve thought about browsing the Tags for it, and I’ve Read Fics that had it as a Ship, All in an Attempt to start liking it and be “Normal” so people don’t hate me for not liking it and Shipping Rin with 1010. So Yeah, i have a lot of Bad Feelings associated with this ship and it Makes me Pretty Uncomfortable. If you like it though that’s Great!

Neon J x Yinu’s Mom/Heart Monitor: This is nowhere near as Personal as why i don’t like Zuke x Rin, it just isn’t something i like. Though again if you like it, That’s Great!

So after reading your response to my idea and I thought about it a bit more and here's what I came up:

Garden of Thorns would definitely help out with dealing with Yinu if they're fighting alongside bands like Ex-Jay, your oc band, etc.

Instead of actually fighting Yinu and her mother get therapy to work out their problems since Sylvie works as a family therapist whenever she's not playing her keytar. So cue Sylvie working with Yinu and her mother to help understand each other and also give advice while the rest of the band fixes up Yinu's piano and restore it to it's former glory. After they're finished the band dips and splits off to help some of the other bands fight the other Megastars such as 1010, Eve, and Tatiana.

If Garden of Thorns were to fight Sayu then it would pretty much be the same thing with Sylvie giving therapy to the Sayu Crew, and Percy being also a trans man giving advice to Remi that he will always have the support of his friends and other trans people in the community. Since Maxie is the manager and the father figure of the band, he could take Dodo especially under his wing and treat him like he was his own son, and also adopt him and the rest of the Sayu crew. Maxie could remove Dodo's cybernetics if Dodo wanted him to since Maxie also used to work as a engineer for cybernetics so he understands how they work and the safest way to remove them without causing any injury. Bonus if he defends the Sayu crew from their parents if they try anything and gives them the look that makes one feel ashamed if they did something wrong.

Also if any of the other bands need help fighting 1010, Eve, or Tatiana then some of the Garden of Thorns members could accompany them and provide backup. For example Maxie and Sodapop have experience working with machines and could help Ex-Jay take down 1010 and neutralize them since Maxie has a metal right arm that's pretty hefty in fighting against 1010, and he could use it to destroy them completely but Maxie doesn't do violence and spares 1010 after he does a bit of damage to them, and could also help Neon J repair them after the fight. Sodapop on the other hand has an arsenal of instruments that she plays asides from her bass guitar, so if needed she could switch to a giant cello, a flute, or even a kazoo to help fight 1010. Sylvie also shows up after the fight and gives therapy to Neon J and the 1010 bots because at this point no one can outrun a keytarist playing therapist-

Percy and Singel help DK West fight against Eve with Percy providing some very emotional vocals to throw Eve off while Singel's very flexible arms and legs could stretch out and neutralize Eve by wrapping around her. She does let go of Eve once she starts to calm down and Sylvie comes once again and gives Eve the therapy she needs. Bonus if Sylvie also helps DK West and Zuke reconcile with each other and helps them talk things out.

Finally Olive helps whoever is fighting Tatiana and provides her healing powers to those who get injured during the fight. Although this puts Tatiana at a bit of an unfair disadvantage since the ones she's fighting against is literally getting healed by Olive every time she lands a hit on them so I don't know if she'll keep fighting the ones attacking her or try to go after Olive since she's the one healing the ones attacking of their injuries during the battle. After the fight is over though Olive heals Tatiana of her injuries and Sylvie comes once again to provide free therapy to Tatiana and help work out her problems.

Idk what Artemis would be doing the whole time but she would probably find Kliff and ask for his help since he has intel on the NSR Megastars and Tatiana to which she could rely that information to the musicians fighting in the Re-Revolution.

Sorry if this was a bit lengthy I may have gotten a bit carried away in writing all this- I hope you like this idea I expanded on :3

I can see Garden of Thorns fighting with Yinu and Mama at first until Yinu starts freaking out and yelling at Mama, letting out all her anger and frustration. Unlike at the end of the OG fight where Yinu plays rapidly, this would lead to a moment of peace for Garden of Thorns to figure out what to do.

But only a moment before Mama takes over Yinu's position saying this is for her own good and either playing the piano herself to attack Garden of Thorns, or playing a harp that was close by (probably the harp). Either way it would now be Mama vs Garden of Thorns. Though I can see Yinu escaping from Mama's grasp or from wherever she was put and working with Sylvie by playing her keytar against her own mother while Sylvie helps the two talk it out. This would allow the healing process to start and the two to stop fighting, both each other and Garden of Thorns.

I still don't like the idea of Yinu's piano getting fixed because, unless it is the music magic, the piano will never be exactly the same. Which would only make Yinu hate playing a "fake" in her eyes. But having a therapist help break down the walls between Yinu and Mama so that they can move into the healing phase will be enough for their part of the story to end.

And OMG the Sayu part sounds amazing! I can see Sayu having extra security like anti-virus protection that is used to fight Garden of Thorns so that Sayu herself is not the one being violent (and possibly get the public to hate her) but it is such a frustrating scenario that Tila lets slip some insecurities (or the voice of the other crew members bleeds into Tila's mic) which is how Garden of Thorns realizes something much deeper is going on with these teens.

They would still need to fully fight and disable Sayu, but once that happens then Garden of Thorns would do the thing May and Zuke did and end up in front of the Crew in person. At this point the public can't see anything else going on. This allows Garden of Thorns to have a more heartfelt moment with the Crew.

I can see at first the Crew tries to physically fight the band, but they are teens who never fought a day in their lives except in video games, so they are quickly restrained and told to knock it off (in a nice way) only for them to all freak out and start babbling and crying about being fired and how their families will treat them after this second defeat.

They are scared and just end up saying way too much, more than they should, which ends up bringing up Dodo's medical history, Remi's transness, some issues with Tila and Sofa's families. Allowing for Garden of Thorns to go with your route of supporting the Crew and helping them either fix their family connections or help them get emancipated from their families.

I don't think Dodo can have his cybernetics fully removed, because (at least in the way I see cybernetics) the cybernetic is a replacement for whatever it is being used for, not just a thing added on. So Dodo literally wouldn't be able to survive if it was just removed, but I can see Dodo getting support and no longer being forced to talk allowing his anxiety to lessen a bit. He would probably use a text to speech app at first but then later learn how to sign along with the rest of the Crew.

I DOUBT Ex-Jay would need help fighting 1010, if anything 1010 would need Garden of Thorns to stop Ex-Jay from going too far. Ex-Jay, especially Cyril, would be blinded by hate and going all out to try and destroy 1010, who can't even PROPERLY fight back anymore because of the removal of their weapons. It would be more Neon and security bots fighting on behalf of 1010 (security bots are not as hated because it is literally their job to be security, so they are not AI and the people are assured their code is standardize and visual for any coder to look through).

If one of 1010 gets destroyed, or at least badly injured enough, I see the truth about Purple coming out somehow. The truth about why 1010 lost a member, which before the public was always told it was either too expensive or done because of low views for Purple. But now, with the help of Garden of Thorns stopping Ex-Jay to listen, Neon or one of 1010 explains what truly happened, showing that 1010 is sentient and regretful of their actions and all they want to do is quit NSR but can't.

I don't know if this would change public opinions on robots, but it would boost the hate for NSR/Tatiana along with make Ex-Jay finally at peace with 1010 (maybe also even with B2J and West who see how much 1010 was pushed into a corner over the years).

The therapy from Sylvie along with mechanical help from Maxie and Sodapop would be a very helpful thing for both Neon and 1010 in the end. Since Neon is the ONLY one he allows to work on 1010 since he doesn't trust NSR, but getting enough help from Sylvie would allow him to trust Maxie and Sodapop enough for them to help upgrade 1010 and possibly fix his own cybernetics that have been deteriorating over time from lack of maintenance.

I don't think Eve would calm down when being held, she would freak out more and her powers would become more destructive and unstable, especially if West and Percy have thrown her off. There would be no rhythm to her music, no patterns to help fight against her. It is just an amalgamation of horrors and fears, insecurities and hate spilling out, with moments of sadness and a want to belong with someone flickering here and there.

I don't see Sylvie being able to reach out to Eve, but I do see Sylvie having the idea of bringing Zuke into the fight. West and Garden of Thorns protect Zuke from any attacks that Eve might throw at him (which she does unintentionally). And those two finally have their talk with each other that they needed.

It is different from in game, but similar enough that it gets the same message across to Eve. Allowing her to finally break down and stop trying to actively hurt people around her. From here, I can see her getting help from Sylvie, or at least getting a recommended therapist from her.

With West and Zuke, I do think they already reconciled before the second Revolution was even getting started. But if they hadn't, I can see West about to take Ex-Jay to 1010, but before going Zuke is having second thoughts causing a fight between Zuke and West (along with Ex-Jay) which Sylvie helps the two talk it out. Zuke's fears of losing friends and families to 1010 and West's anger at himself for not being there for Zuke come out. Ex-Jay end up going alone to fight 1010 (at least the start of the battle which goes as planned above) while Sylvie helps Zuke and West reconcile fully and finally.

Oh you KNOW Tatiana would immediately go after Olive if she figured out Olive was healing the others. Tatiana is not like gamers who see a healer and ignores them. No, she will cut that lifeline out as quickly as she can. I don't know if Olive or the others will be prepared enough to actually fight back or protect Olive, especially with how quick and strong Tatiana is.

I do see Garden of Thorn not actually being able to fully defeat Tatiana by themselves. Which is where Artemis and Kliff probably come in. Also, if Sylvie met Kliff beforehand, I feel like she could sense/use her therapist skills to see that Kliff was/is up to something. She might be able to get the Kul Fyra thing out of Kliff and how he feels before the fight, which would be better as he wouldn't make the fight about him and Tatiana, but if she can't then I kinda see Kliff trying to take the spotlight off of Rock/the Re-revolution and putting it onto his and Tatiana's past relationship.

Honestly, I also like the idea of past Gooling members coming back to talk with Tatiana. So Kliff and Artemis could have been doing that. Tracking the old members down and would bring them in at the end of the fight (along with B2J so those two could get closure) and making all these people talk to each other.

Tatiana might reconsider her actions, seeing her old bandmates along with just how hurt B2J really are and what she just did to Garden of Thorns. Not to mention hearing her other artists talk with Sylvie (she probably has a way to have heard what happened with the Sayu Crew), she would come to the realization that her forced order and hate of rock is only going to destroy the city, not help it.

She'd need more time to figure things out. Taking a temporary leave of absence for maybe a month or two while Mystery Man takes her position for a bit. The city starts to make changes and improvements. Getting more charters, allowing more genres to be played, creating healthy work environments. Tatiana would get help, either through Sylvie or another kind of therapist, and in the end things would be okay.

Not amazing like they are in the OG universe, but better than what they were before. There would still be lots of trauma and consequences that would have to be dealt with, but at least now there is a starting point.

Also, it's funny how DJ was not mentioned lol. I guess they must have finally got fired XD

Lol, but no. I get why you didn't mention him. I don't have much ideas for DJ because I just don't see him putting up anymore of a fight than he would have to. So my OC band was probably the one to take him down fairly easy. Heck I could see DJ just getting so mad at all of this happening again, and his head getting attacked/damaged some more, that he just literally swats my OC band away physically and quits.

DJ is so sick of everything. Sick of dealing with stupid people and their stupid ideas that he knows won't work but no one will listen to him so why even bother trying to even reason with all these lowly people around him!?

Also you know, I just realized that the satellite is still around because of this AU lol. So DJ already had his goal reached and so he probably doesn't have much plans afterward. Makes me think of that Plankton "I don't know, I didn't think I'd get this far" meme. Like he is trying to find a new way to be fulfilled, which is probably why he started talking to Neon, along with the fact that he knows what it is like to have people be mean just because of what they are (DJ being half space creature thing, Neon being a cyborg, and 1010 being robots have all had similar experiences with assholes).

So hearing Neon talk about quitting all the time would start to sound really good to DJ, who finally just ups and does it during this fight. I doubt Tatiana at the moment would care about him quitting against the terms in his contract. She was looking for an excuse to fire him because of his attitude and declining quality of music. So him quitting (before all the other stuff in the Re-revolution happens) is something Tatiana just lets happen, and she voids his contract.

Now DJ can work full time on Neon's contract to try and get him and 1010 out of NSR, since Tatiana sees them as more important she won't just let Neon and 1010 leave like DJ. At least she wouldn't have if the the Re-Revolution failed/never happened. Afterwards, hearing everything from all the Megastars and also getting push back from robotic sympathizers, Tatiana would allow Neon and 1010 to freely leave NSR (which they take in a heartbeat).
