More @anbu-legacy doodles!

I wanted to post these one arc at a time, and the Demon Mission arc is pretty short but honestly a great start. One hell of an introduction for the rookies! Also got to do some monster design! I thought about doing more, the queen and the ones that were actually causing all the trouble in town but decided to just do a base "drone/worker" type to not get carried away. This is just what I saw in my head.

Under the cut is a little comic of how I think Kakashi revealed to Naruto that he made ANBU!

I thought this would be a funny moment to have between them. :)

Minato totally helped set this up btw.

I still can't get over the Fact that White Ultra Magnus is being sold in 7-11 Stores in Japan as "Convoy"

(and i still hate that they name ultra magnus "convoy" because either they still pretend the city commander has never been a red-eyed, white optimus repaint because of the 1986 transformers movie or everyone loves minimus ambus now)

Question for mod how do you know so much about the anbu stuff is it in the anime sorry I'm not first language English speaker I would like to know all the background stuff is it in the manga

Hi! Thanks for the question! So, guilty admission here, I haven’t actually read the manga or seen most of shippuden because Crunchyroll shoved it behind a paywall. I’m familiar with the events of canon, but most of what I post is just my flavor of Fanon. Most ANBU fanon is taken from the crumbs we get in canon and expanded upon. If you want more information about ANBU, there are several lovely fanworks out there that are ANBU centric. My personal favorite and what I base most of my work off of is from @anbu-legacy (sorry for the tag) and their lovely series. If you love Genma, I’d recommend checking it out. I also have a lot of military family so a lot of my personal headcanons comes from that too. So, to sum up an answer to your question: I know very little about ANBU in canon, other than they have call signs and squads of three to six, are lead by a captain and answer to the Hokage and ANBU/Jonin commanders. Everything else is fanon and borrowed from other fic writers, my own knowledge of how militaries work and black ops in general, and filling it in as I go. Hope this makes sense! - Em

Are we gonna work on the wips! no! we're gonna obsess over a background character and make him my entire dopamine source for months and now I've run out.

Anybody else get that one background character that is just their everything right now? Like mine currently commands my entire existence and there's no content im down to poking every piece of unfinished poorly written media like a starving man licking water off of cave walls.

I've been re-reading @anbu-legacy and decided to do some doodles while I go :)

This set is all from the "ANBU Trials" arc. There is one doodle per chapter, and some random ones thrown in there for fun. I wanted to add something that either made me laugh or thought would be fun to illustrate.

I would highly recommend reading Legacy if you are 18+! It is very good and the writers are amazing!
