Unova was a much more humid climate then she was used too, going from living in the desert of Paldea to this bustling city just exacerbated any kind of immune response, so she’d been writing it off has nothing to worry about- Something that would pass on its own.

But even with all the precautions she took- Wearing a face mask, taking extra vitamins, seemed she still managed to catch something- or at least something people took notice in. It’s not until one of the subway bosses straight up puts a hand on her forehead that she’s suddenly keenly aware of how sick she is. Pale, chills and fever, some kind of flu.

She’s surprised he took notice at all, really, she wasn’t a challenger in this moment, just someone out exploring. “Ah- I’m sure I’ll be fine, heh, thank you for the concern though.” She hums, galarian accent thick when speaking it, giving him a little wave even to try and dismiss the topic.
