Faith and Star got their limb(s) ampuated recently, Star has grown more wings and big wings and their regular wings to help them get around easier. No I do not have a tail, we get them ampuated at birth they just get in the way.

but yeah no tails, only non mutated horses have tails.. there rather rare though you don't see much of them anymore.

Whump Prompt #192

Whumpee’s bleary eyes slowly blinked open, their head filled with cotton and the sound around them was tinny and far away to their ears. Above them, a network of crisscross beams hovered in and out of focus as their body began to finally fill their awareness.

Trying to sit up, their newly registered body immediately sent back signals that there was something holding nearly every inch of their body down to the harsh flat surface of whatever they were laid on.

“Oh our subject’s finally awake. How do you feel Whumpee?” An unfamiliar voice from above them asked from beyond Whumpee’s periphery.

Distantly opening their mouth, Whumpee’s tongue sat like a jet engine in their mouth, the only sound coming from them being a low groan as a stab of sharp pain cut through most of the concentration they had.

The unfamiliar voice chuckled, sending conflicting messages of charismatic calm and terror as the situation was finally crashing down on Whumpee. 

Whumpee began to squirm, nearly every inch of their body unable to move more than a few millimeters at most. 

“Oh poor, poor Whumpee. You’re not getting out of this anytime soon.”

The charisma wrapped around Whumpee’s mind, the confidence holding their mind for a single moment before the reality crashed back into them like a wave.

They couldn’t-  

They-

“Well now that you’re awake, it’s time to start. After all,” Whumpee’s heart skipped a beat as the sound of chainsaw type device filled the room. “Wo would want to miss the last moments they have of their most precious dominant arm?”

Whumpee’s eyes went wide only a moment before the sounds of their screams began to drown out even the bone-saw Whumper had.

Unconsciousness slammed into them far too long after Whumper started, their own resolve turned against them.

The last thought in Whumpee’s mind before they finally gave was that they hoped Caretaker found them missing and was searching for them. 

That small hope lifted the barest of hopeful smiles on Whumpee’s face, lost to Whumper as Whumpee finally went limp.

We got Dante back to the vet today. His prognosis is great!

We need to keep using his medicine until it runs out, no more refills. The nerve regeneration medicine worked amazing-ly, he can put some weight on his leg but still not a whole lot. He's running, jumping the fence, he's getting back to his old self. He's also more vocal, he's meowing a lot more. I'm really happy with the vets and what they did for him. Im so happy there was no ampuation needed.

A short, dark grey almost black, spotted tabby tom with fluffy medium length fur. It tufts out around his legs and on the top of his head. His left back leg has been ampuated. He has green eyes and a white patch of fur on his chin and throat. There are several smaller flecks of white fur on his face that look like freckles.

I never wanted to be that person who asked strangers for money but our cat needs help. This is our sweet litte boy named Cheese who needs a leg ampuated and without help we can’t afford to have the surgery done and all rescues that I’ve contacted have been full. The vet said the only other option would be euthansia because of the pain but thats the last thing we want.

Parkers Diagnosis Story

As stated in my last post Parker has a story for why pet insurance is a must have!

Before Parker was adopted by myself he unfortunatley had to spend alot of his very young kitten years in the veterinary hospital. This was due to an accident that he had which caused the hospital to ampuate his tail – I am not too sure of the true story of why this had happened.

I adopted Parker in March…
