I have conflicted feelings about the FNAF series in general, but seeing a movie where practical animatronic puppets are the primary focus of the film becoming not only financially successful but also well received by general audiences is pretty damn neat.

#five nights at freddy's #fnaf #fnaf movie #jim henson #halloween #the animatronics look genuinely so good #not only are they extremely faithful to the video game designs #but they also have such a great range of emotion and expression #the horror aspect of them isn’t overstated too much either #like so many horror puppets especially in the 2000s/2010s were very… in your face about the fact they were horror monster #like with a lot of grime and low saturated palettes and such #Idk I think horror puppets are better when they look kinda superficially not scary until they’re placed in the right context #like it would’ve been very easy to make the fnaf animatrocis look quote on quote realistic and grimy and obviously unsubtly horror-y #but they actually look like kids animatronics #like there are creepy aspects #like how tall they are or thier uncanny animatronic movements #but for the most part they literally do just look like chuck e cheese esque animatronics #thier creepiness has actual subtly #they’re endearing when they want to be and terrifying when they need to be #just very solid designs overal

here's the sketch because i really like it, as well as the referenced panel and a little ramble:

we'll ignore that this panel is technically in the anime. i just wanted to include more of him in it, y'know? the rest will be ones the anime either didnt include or didnt frame in the way the manga did

anyways AAAAAAA drawing in the official style is making my brain REALLY recognize that what im drawing is him so im having a lot of fun and i will continue to be unwell about him :D

Having ADHD combined with maladaptive daydreaming is the worst because I'll just be sitting in class and the teacher calls on me for a question but then gets concerned because I don't hear her and I also look like this

#its involuntary as well which is the worst part #literally i focused so hard on trying to not zone out that i zoned out and had the weird creepy pomni look #like my eyes get so wide as well and i can stare for like 5 minutes without blinking before remembering i need to blink #i feel so bad bcuz i stared at a kid for a solid 2 minutes and i mistve freaked him out #i also freeze and become super stiff and my breathing just kinda stiffs as well #happens a lot when im bored and dont have access to music my phone or sketchbook #so most commonly appears in english class or seminar cuz i fucking hate those classes #like theyre so boring and the an hour and a half long #i need to find better coping mechanisms please give me them/srs #adhd #maladaptive daydreaming #daydreaming #immersive daydreaming #zoning out

Okay... Last post before going to bed -_-

First of all... Context: Here in my country we celebrate on April 23rd Saint George's day (or Sant Jordi)...

The legend of Saint George, tells the story of a brave knight named George who saved a princess from being devoured by a dragon. In a kingdom plagued by fear of the dragon, which demanded human sacrifices, George courageously confronted the beast. After a fierce battle, he defeated the dragon by plunging his sword into its heart, freeing the kingdom from the threat of further sacrifices.

Legend has it that from the dragon's blood sprouted a rose. George then took this rose and presented it to the princess as a symbol of his bravery and love.

For this reason every April 23rd, people gifts roses and books to friends, family, someone you love basically.

Nowadays there are different versions of the same history, for example, the dragon being friendly (the version I used in this drawing) or the princess being the knight.

#Now that I think about it... it's kinda creepy that roses come out of its stomach. _.#Oh and YES goofy is the dragon #But at the end of the day... It's very funny the more LOTR type shit I have in my immediate circle bc like. Truly. I don't care for the series. I'm slated for an extended edition, strap-me-to-the-couch, GRONDGRONDGRONDGROND-type re-watch w my friends and I honestly hope I like it this time lmao....i haven't seen LOTR in like? 14 years?? Idk I like gimli I think? Man that'd be a good name for a guinea pig. We almost named Pippin Smeagol/Gollum but you gotta earn that name. Her full title is Pippin the Peepin Peepee Baby. Her signature move is filling your palm with a small puddle of pee. Did it within 3 seconds of the vet googoogagaing at her. Maybe she should be smeagol. Anyway my LOTR knowledge is peripheral and purely for comedy - - look at my little girlies hairy hobbit feet. Look at Frodo's bright pink toes.
