@streetkid-named-desire tagged me for an OC association thing. I copy-pasted from their post
I tag @fourth-floor-at-langley, @medtech-mara, @aggravateddurian
I'm using the most recent pictures I have of them but their appearances are gonna be changing again over time (not so much with my netrunner tho)
First is Veil (aka V31L or any variation that other runners might have seen her handle as):
Tumblr media
Animal: Standard domestic cat because that is just the general vibe netrunners give off tbh
Colors: 007BA7
Month: June/July (wrt birth month: January)
Plants: She's a California girl at heart so she likes palm trees
Numbers: I was gonna go for 23 for reasons relating to William Burroughs and Psychic TV but I'll go for 42 as the maximum RAM she had in the most recent playthrough
Songs:
Cowgirl - Underworld
Mindfields - The Prodigy
Teardrop - Massive Attack
Smells: Tropical fruits, coconut, vanilla
Time of Day: 10PM - 5AM
Food: Combination of classy Japanese dining and street food.
Drinks: Rum & Coke, beer, real coffee (bought off a black market dealer on the Net)
Elements: uwu the fifth one
Seasonings: the shit that makes Indian curries slap (I'm Bri'ish so I've only ever had a proper curry a few times and the others have been bastardised ones made at home)
Weapons: Quickhacks, Skippy, D5 Sidewinder, Hercules 3AX, suppressed Unity
Places: EdgeNet (Yoko Tsuru's shop), H10 rooftop
Sky: Clear night sky (so she can see the moon)
Weather: Rainy days, clear nights
Candy: I think bubblegum counts. Cigarettes definitely don't count.
Hobbies: Hacking, arguing with other Netrunners, remote controlling her Galena when she decides now is the right time to get in to a disagreement over the phone or with a passenger.
Artstyle: Patrick Nagel
Fear: The collective weight of guilt after spending 11 years of her life in NetWatch and the last few of those years sub-conning for Arasaka catching up with her. Losing her found family.
Clothing item: Black leather racers, knotted tank, personalised edgerunner with shoulder mounted monitor on the left sleeve and shoulder pad on the right, heeled boots (her wardrobe varies but that set in particular is her go to)
Three Emojis: 🧠⚡💥
Star Sign: Capricorn
Ronnie below the keep reading:
Tumblr media
Animal: Some kind of attack dog, doberman maybe.
Colors: #660000
Month: August (birth month)

Hips, Tits, Lips, Power! - Pigface/Silverfish
If You Want Blood (You Got It) - GWAR

Rewatching Riverdale to prepare myself for season 7. I haven't watched a single new ep past the first episode of Rivervale and have just been keeping up through Tumblr.
A couple things I noticed while re-binging /liked/disliked.
- the way the original couples got together was a sweet buildup of episodes despite what B*rchies like to claim.
Eg: Archie courting then dating Val and Veronica getting jealous, Ronnie making Archie face his fear and helping him feel safe, their sweet moments at the party, multiple stolen kisses and tiptoing to avoid hurting Betty. Over multiple episodes.
Eg 2: Jughead flirting with Betty and Betty's little "Juggie"'s, Jughead getting jealous of Betty going on a "date", them sleuthing Jason's room, sharing snacks, and Jughead comforting/protecting Betty only to ultimately and finally round up the courage to kiss her. Once again, over multiple episodes.
- A fault: They really did have these couples break up like every 3rd episode. I know that there's supposedly weeks in , but the timeline feels so messy and the makeup-breakup plot is tiring. If at least 2 out of the major 3 (BugVarChoni) were happy, that third was fucked over by something so petty or right out of left field. The first couple breakups from each party made sense, They were done to protect the other from getting hurt each time. But the rest feels like lazy writing. You can have couples fight and not just throw in the towel.
- You can't tell me that Riverdale doesn't have any magic in it. Not only did CAOS take place in RiverDALE at one point, but when Archie and Jughead go to deliver drugs in Greendale, Archie comes across a dead deer walking. Not to mention Cheryl's magic powers that show up later, but that's for another post.
- The whole "we have a gang but we are going to be lawful and awesome" thing is very cringe lmfao. They also mention the Hells Angel's once or twice about what they do for children around christmas. This is true. I'm a Canadian in Alberta and my uncles were all in the Hells Angel's when they were younger, however they also weren't some perfectly wholesome gang. They do heavy shit. The way they removed all the adults except for FP was also a weird choice, but it's probably because there's no way 40-50 year old gang bangers are going to let a 17 year old kid run the show.
- I'm in the midst of season 3 and I'm reminded at how much I hated the farm plot. The whole "Alice was working with Charles the whole time" thing feels just as thrown together rewatching it as it did when I first watched the twist.
Not to mention the hell that is sitting through Veggie Tales.
However I do wanna point out some plots I really loved to rewatch.
- Serpent!Alice Cooper/Smith. In love. The way she redeemed herself and every time was wearing snake skin was gorgeous and they look amazing on her.
- The midnight club was a great episode and plot. It was cheesy, sure, but it was interesting and made people invested in the parents for once.
- Falice felt very Romeo and Juliet. They honestly kind of remind me of Bughead now. Once incredibly in love, moved on with secrets, things left unsaid, and now no one knows their fate. They for sure would have been endgame is S.U. didn't leave the show.
- Betty's time at The Sisters of Quiet Mercy. I wasn't a fan of the gang not noticing/thinking she was at the farm, however I enjoyed it.
- Bughead and Varchie at Lodge Lodge. I want more that.
-Cheryl's coming out story. It made sense, and actually didn't really feel rushed at all. Cheryl never acted out of love or feelings until she met Toni. She tried to get something out of all the men she kissed on the show. There was never any indication that she genuinely liked any of them.
ANYWHO thats my thoughts so far without making this a million pages long.

Summary: Your from the Southside and Hiram is your father, you and Veronica don't get along and Hermione has had enough.
It was bad enough you had to live with them, but now Hiram wanted to show you around along side him, Veronica and Hermione.
He was trying to control everything in your life. He moved you into the penbrook with his family, made you transfer schools and he even had people dress your tonight.
Needless to say you were far from happy and Veronica's present wasn't making it any easier.
The only good part about tonight was that your friends from the Southside. were here.
"How about you put a smile on your face Y/N?" Veronica asked. "It would be a nice change, don't you think."
"How about you bite me Satan?" You asked sarcastically with a bright smile on your face.
"Oh I'll do a lot more that's that." She glared stepping towards you.
"Girls that enough." Hiram interjected. "Veronica be nice to your sister, and Y/N it wouldn't hurt you to smile here and there would it?"
"Hurt no, but kill maybe." You replied before walking off to nowhere in particular.
The night went on and you stuck with Toni.
"Hey, How you holding up?" She asked.
"As good as I can be after having my whole life uprooted and forced to live and go to school with people I hate." You replied not seeing Veronica standing not far behind you, close enough to hear everything you were saying along with Betty, Archie, and Jughead. "It would be a lot easier if I didn't have to sleep under the same roof as the The Seed Of Satan.
"Um, excuse me?" Veronica asked walking up to you. "You know no one is forcing to to live with us you welcome to leave at anytime." Sh said.
"Well thats where your wrong Mobb Boss Barbie, you father is the one that forced me to come here." You shot back. "I was perfectly happy living with Toni on the southside."
By now everyone at the party including Hiram and Hermione had noticed the commotion and had stopped to watch.
"All because your mother couldn't keep your father on a short enough leash." You snarled.
"My father maybe if your mother could keep her legs closed and not sleep with a married man.You would have been able to live out your life with your southside scum."
"Scum? Wow we may not have the money you snobs have here on the Northside but at least we know what the word loyalty means, why don't you tell your friends here what the Lodges are really planning for Riverdale."
"All Daddy is trying to do is turn Riverdale in to a safer place maybe if it was safer your mother wouldn't be 6ft under right now, but if you don't want to be apart of that your welcome to join her."
You flinch at the mention of your mothers death it was only a few months ago and you hated when people brought it up even more so when they were trying to be disrespectful. Your eyes were glued t the floor
You started tp lift you hand ready to deal out the hardest slap to Veronicas face, but a loud crack echoed around the room. You snapped your head up in order to see what had caused the loud noise when another crack was sounded followed by a shooting pain to the side of your face.
You turned your head back and see Hermione standing in between you and Veronica a look of diappointment in her face.
"That is enough from both of you." She spat. "It's time you both knew the truth."
"Hermione," Hiram shared but was cut off by his wife.
Everyone was standing around mouths slightly open and eyes wide as to not miss any of the action. Alice Cooper had pulled out a camera and began to film.
"No Hiram its time for this to stop they need to know." She said to her husband.
"Mom, what do we need to know." Veronica asked.
"The only thing I need to know is why the hell you just slapped me." You said glaring at her.
"I did it because your mother would be ashamed of you." She said. "And everything that just came from your mouth that is not how you were raised."
"You don't know anything about me or my mother just because you husband couldn't keep it in his pants doesn't mean you suddenly know anything about us." You yelled. "You probably hated my mother, you probably glad she died-!"
"I LOVED YOUR MOTHER!"  Hermione yelled back. "More than your will ever know." She said as her eyes start to water.
"We loved your mother, and you." She continued.
"What?" You asked.
"We loved you both." Hiram answered. "After Hermione and I got married and moved to New York we met your mother." He started.
"We fell in love with her, to say the least." Hermione said. "When we first told she thought we were crazy but eventually she admitted that she loved us too. And that's how it started."
"So you both were in a relationship with Y/N's mother." Veronica asked.
"I believe the word is polygamy." Hiram explained.
"Excuse me for asking." Toni interrupted. "But if you guys were so in love how did Y/N end up on the Southside and you guys still in New York?"
"When Hermione became pregnant with Veronica we were all happy." Hiram started. "Then not long after we found out that we were going to have Y/N as well."
"And we were overjoyed, Y/M/N and I did everything together from shopping to the baby shower, and Y/N and Veronica came after that only a month apart. Everything was great we raised you together." She said before looking over to you. "You called me mommy and you loved when I would bake sweets for your father when he got home from work."
"But that still doesn't explain what happened." Veronica pointed out.
"Well mija like they say 'all good things must come to an end.' One of your fathers...business associates wanted him to sell half of Lodge industries to him and your father refused. In response he had you both kidnapped and threatens to.....harm you if his demands weren't met."
"Luckily." Hiram added. "It didn't get that far and we got you both back unharmed." He explained.
"But Y/N you were never that same after that." She said resting her hand on your should causing you to flinch. "No one could touch you without you flinching, you were more quiet, didn't smile as much as you used to. We tried everything to get you back the way you were but nothing helped. And in this business as expected the threats kept coming and then one day..."
"One day we woke up and Y/M/N was gone and she had taken you with her." He finished. "She left a note saying that this life was too dangerous and that she didn't want you hurt or worst."
"Veronica you cried for so long after your mother and sister left, eventually you stopped and had convinced yourself that your sister was just an imaginary friend."
"Of course we knew where they were the whole time but we respected Y/M/N wishes and kept our distance and helped whenever we could." Hiram said. "Survived from the pictures we were sent and returned the favor with photos of Veronica. We were devastated to find of that she had parishes and we wanted nothing more than to make sure that you were okay but we knew you would no longer recognize us as your family because you already had one."
"But now we are your family weather you like it or not and you two are sister and I think until you learn how to act like it you both grounded."Hermione stated. "Starting now you go to school and you come straight home nowhere else, no visitors. So you girls should say goodbye to your friends and Andre will drive you home."
"In fact I think that's enough excitement for one night we will join you, let's go girls." Hiram said gesturing for you to follow him of to the door.
• 2 Weeks Later •
It was the middle of the night and Veronica was awoken form her sleep by a scream.
Without thinking she jump from her bed and ran to the source of the sound. Flinging the door open she was greeted with the sigh of her half sister thrashing around in her bed.
"Y/N wake up." She called gently shacking her arm. "Y/N it's okay." She said shacking with a bit more force.
Veronica jumped back as Y/N finally jolted awake. "What are you doing in here?" She asked still trying to catch her breath.
"You must have been having a nightmare, I heard you scream." She answered.
"Oh....well thanks for waking me." She replied awkwardly.
"Your welcome." Veronica said backing away from the bed and towards that door.
"Veronica."
"Y/N."
You both called at the same time.
"Maybe if you want....I could stay with you."
"I mean if you want I wouldn't mind." She answered.
Veronica let a small smile slip into her lips as she walked back towards the bed and Y/N slid over as her sister climbed in.
"You know I had nightmares a lot as a kid and sometimes it still do." She tried to comfort.
"Thanks Veronica." Y/N muttered.
"You know you can call me Ronnie or V, my friends do." Veronica suggested.
"Maybe. But probably not." Y/N replied.
They slipped into a comfortable silence not noticing the two figures that stood outside the door also having been woken up by the screen of the youngest Lodge.
"Y/M/N would have loved to see this." Hermione whispered still not looking away from the teenage girls.
"I'm sure she's watching." Hiram replies. "Now let's go back to bed." He said building her away.

Jughead//i didn’t wanna fall, but then i stepped right in
Request: If you're request are open/not swamped can i request a Jughead/Reader with the song Cliché- mxmtoon maybe you meet at his "birthday party" or something similar, tbh something like fluffy/soft would be super nice plot wise :D
hey! this is another one that i wrote like last year or something so the writing style maybe seem a little different than usual. i still hope you like it though!! have a great day all!!!
“Y/n!” Veronica greets you from across the living room. “You came!”
“I did!” You smile brightly at her and hold up a pack of beer.
“Wow, classy.” She laughs and pulls you into a quick hug. “Give it to Archie, he’ll put it in the kitchen. Won’t you Archiekins.” She smiles sweetly at Archie who walks past the two of you and he sends the two of you a confused smile.
“Sure?” He asks, unsure of what she was referring to.
“Put the beer in the kitchen.”
“Right.” He smiles at her and you give him the beer.
“And get us both a drink please.”
“Of course.” He smiles.
“So when’s he getting here?” You ask Veronica and look around the living room. So far, you are yet to meet the famous Jughead. You’ve only just moved from New York, joining your friend Veronica in Riverdale after your parents decided to move. As soon as she found out you were moving here, she’d talked about her new friends constantly and not just her friends, but also boys...but there’s no surprise there. Apparently the boys in Riverdale were hotter than the one’s in New York, something you were yet to believe, despite being here for a week. So thats how you were invited to a birthday party of someone you’d never met.
“He’ll be here soon.” Betty joins your conversation. “He text Archie telling him that he’s on his way.” She adds. “He thinks they’re just hanging out.”
“Oh.” You nod. “Clever. I need to pee, where’s the bathroom?” You ask.
“Up the stairs, down the hall and its the first door you see.”
“Thanks.”
“He’s here!” A boy shouts and the lights quickly turn off, everyone moves a few steps back just before the door swings open.
“Y/n isn’t here.” Veronica whispers to Betty and the two of them quickly glance around the darkened room.
“I’m sure it’ll be fine.” She replies.
“Shhhhh.” Kevin shushes them both.
“Archi-” Jughead calls out but he’s cut off.
“Surprise!!” Everyone shouts and he jumps slightly.
“What the-”
“Happy birthday!” Archie hugs him and he smiles awkwardly before sending a small wave to a few people. Someone turns the lights and music back on while other people mingle and talk to Jughead.
“Shit.” You say loudly, once you reach the bottom of the stairs. “Did I miss it?” You asks and Veronica giggles while nodding.
“Kinda.” She replies. “But thats okay.”
“Damn.” You mutter, looking around the room and thats when you see him. The beanie clad boy that you’d only ever seen in pictures. Fuck, he’s looking right at you. Your eyes widen when you realize you’re staring at him and you quickly avert your eyes, deciding to join in the conversation happening beside you. “Surprise parties...am I right?” You say and the group of girls look at you offended.
“We’re talking about her grandmothers funeral.”
“Oh, shit. Sorry.” You apologize. The three of them stare at you until you walk away, muttering another quickly apology as you go. “Not much of a party topic.” You mumble to yourself while you try and find Veronica. How did you ever survive in New York? The only thing you did there was go to parties. How’d you manage to upset someone after only being at the party for 15 minutes?
After searching for a few minutes, you conclude that Veronica, as well as Archie are no where to be seen and Betty had gone to talk to the people you’d just upset so that wasn’t an option. Pushing through the small crowd you look around the living room one more time. Again you lock eyes with Jughead causing your cheeks to burn before you quickly look back down at the floor. He’s even cuter the second time round and so after a few minutes of trying to get rid of the blush on your cheeks, you send him a small smile before walking into the kitchen and leaning against the counter.
A few minutes later you hear someone walk in and so you decided to busy yourself instead of just staring out into nothing. While you search through the fridge you listen to the end of the conversation and once you hear them say goodbye you decide its safe to look up. Jughead is stood a few feet away from you staring at his phone. You quickly close the fridge and start to walk out as quietly as possible, buts its too late. He’s already noticed you, his lips quirking into a smile as he tilts his head to the side, a curious expression gracing his features as he looks you up and down.
“Hey.” He smiles at you, waving softly.
“He-hello.” You stutter and your cheeks start to heat up again.
“Y/n?” He asks and you shake your head. “Are you okay? You kinda just stopped at hello and then stared at me.”
“Oh. Right. Sorry. I was meant to say happy birthday.”
“Thanks.” He replies and pours himself a drink. “Do you want one?” He asks and you shake your head.
“I’m good.” You show him the drink in your hand and he nods.
“Thats a bottle of milk.” He raises and eyebrow and you look between him and the bottle in your hand, a confused expression gracing your features.
“I was meant to get that.” You reply slowly making him chuckle. “So what are you doing in here? Shouldn’t you be out there?”
“I’m hiding. Birthday’s aren’t really my thing.” He says, the last part seeming sadder than he probably intended to.
“Oh.”
“Anyway.” He grins. “Do you wanna dance?”
“You want to dance with me?”
“I don’t see anybody else in the kitchen. Do you?” He motions around the room and you shake your head. “Lets go then.Maybe you can make my birthday a bit better.” He says and your eyes widened. “Oh God. I didn’t mean like that.” He blushes and you laugh softly.
“Its fine.” You shake your head. “Lets dance.”
--------
Ever since the two of you danced, you and Jughead had been practically inseparable. You don’t remember much from the night of the party apart from the dancing and then the hangover as you woke up in Veronica’s bed, but from the vague memories you do have, you know you had fun.
Over the last few days you’d been constantly texting, whether you were in class, at home, hanging out with friends, sometimes when you were sat right next to each other. And with every single word you seemed to fall further and further for him.
He was witty and charming and cute and hot and basically everything you could have wanted.
“Its like he’s swept you off your feet.” Veronica laughs and you look at her confused. The two of you are sat in Pops’ waiting for the rest of the gang to turn up.
“Jughead. You’re in love with him and you’ve only known him a few days.”
“He makes me laugh.” You defend.
“And blush.” She adds and you rolls your eyes.
“Who?” Betty asks while sitting beside Veronica.
“Jughead.” She replies, sending a knowing look in your direction.
“You’re all he’s talked about for the past three days.”
“Same with her.”
“Literally, even at the party. She went to pee and he talked about how amazing she was.”
“You do know I’m sat right here.”
“We know.” They smile at you.
“What are you two smiling like that for?” Archie asks and sits beside you.
“Because Y/n is in love with Jughead and they’ve only known each other for a less than week.”
“Oooo.” He teases. “No one can compete.”
“Huh?” The three of you ask confused.
“That’s what Jughead said about her.”
“Awwwww.” They tease.
“What if its too good to be true?” Veronica says, repeating the words you’d said to her earlier. “Its like we click like lego.” She adds, despite you kicking her in the shin.
“Or the clacking of tap shoes.” Archie adds.
“I want to be with yo-Hi Jughead.” Betty trails off and the four of you quickly shut up.
“Hey.” Jughead waves confused. “Have we ordered yet?”
“Yeah. It should be done soon, me and Ronnie ordered when we got here.” You explain and he smiles warmly at you. “Don’t worry, I got your favourite.”
“Cool.” He says and looks around for a seat to pull up.
“Don’t worry.” Archie stands up quickly. “Sit here, I’ll find a seat.” He sends you a wink and you roll your eyes at him before he wanders away, bring a chair back. Your foods brought out a couple minutes later and the five of you eat in silence.
“So” Jughead is the first to break it, Archie, Veronica and Betty starting their own conversation while you and Jughead talk. “How’s your day been?” He asks and sips his milkshake.
“Better now.” You reply with a smile and look down at your food. He giggles and agrees with you before he steals a fry. “Hey!” You laugh loudly and throw a few more at him. The two of you end up in a mini food fight while your other three friends just stare at you.
“You’s are a walking cliche.” Veronica rolls her eyes teasingly.
“Shut up Ronnie.” You glare at her.
“Yeah, shut up Veronica.” Jughead adds. “Talking to you has made my day.” He whispers in your ear making you blush fiercely.
“Mine too.” You reply and he smiles softly. You look at him, his smile mirroring yours and you melt at the way he’s looking at you. Maybe Veronica was right. Maybe you were a cliche.
But cliche’s never work out right?
----
“Why haven’t you been talking to Jughead?” Archie catches up with you in the corridor while you’re walking to your next class.
“I’ve just been busy.” You shrug.
“What happened to clicking like legos?” He asks and you roll your eyes.
“Its just a cliche.” You reply. “I don’t wanna be a cliche. Its not real.”
“But it was.” He argues.
“It wasn’t.” You say before storming off.
----
“Hey.” Jughead’s voice makes you jump as you look up from the menu.
“Hello.” You reply and place it on the table. “You’re not Veronica.”
“Not the last time I checked.” He jokes and you laugh softly. “Listen.” He starts while sitting opposite you. Your milkshake is brought to the table and there’s two straws in it making you laugh softly.
“This is such a cliche.” You mutter.
“I have to know. Do you feel the same way I do?” The boldness of his questions takes you back and you stare at him confused. But he doesn’t look nervous, he’s confident as he stares at you, his eyebrow raises as he waits for your answer and you know there’s no way you can lie to yourself or anyone else any longer.
“Yeah.” You say quietly. “I do, but I was scared of what you might say...”
“Me too.” He admits. A strange silence settles over the two of you, neither of you knowing what to say. But as soon as you make eye contact again, you burst into laugher and he quickly follows. “I still think you’re cute.”
“Me too.” You nod. “We both fell way to fast for any normal people.”
“We’re a cliche aren’t we?” He asks.
“Just a little.” You nod.
“Thats okay.” He takes a sip of your milkshake before pushing it towards you.
“I wouldn’t want it any other way.” You smile brightly at him and take a small drink before pushing it back at him. He leans across the table and you meet him half way, his lips capturing yours in a sweet kiss. However it doesn’t last very long before you pull away and gasp. He looks at you confused as to why you pulled away so quickly and then he realizes...its because there’s milkshake down your chest.
“Here.” He hands you some napkins and tries to dab at the stains. “Sorry.” He mumbles when he realizes he’s practically gotten to second base with you.
“Its fine.” You laugh.
“Are we always going to be like this?” He asks.
“I think so yeah.” You nod.
“One silly cliche after the other?” He wonders. Both of you know the answer, but neither of you really mind.
Maybe some cliche’s work after all

babe.... bAbe..... u can’t give them the Good Dad Rog shit and the. not follow up with the hot space angst.................... it’s what the people Deserve
i copied this verbatim from our chats so like, if its choppy that’s why. also, this is like….part 1 of what is really 85 pages of hc’s all about hot space so like…more to come??? sorry for the angst
it begins with brian having cheated on chrissie
and dom, who is pregnant with baby #5, takes Offense to it
basically dom gets chrissie her divorce and sets her up with crystal, who has always had a Thing for her
and while in the middle of handling this shit because dom is kickass, dom comes to the decision that Brian Is Wrong and Needs To Be Taught A Lesson
so she convinces ronnie to her side and is like, we do not interact with brian for as long as it takes for him to realize he fucked up
so basically hot space is such shit because dom and ronnie are like for however long you support brian we will not have sex with either of you
like you want to be there for him? fine but your hands gonna be there for you instead of us
john immediately is like good luck brian hope you figure your shit out
kinda backfires actually
roger and john are like uhhhhh
well this is a shame certainly bc we love u
but also
ig we…. gotta fuck each other
Oh No
they’re so smug about it until they receive an envelope from home
its pictures of both women together in various positions
john gives in first but roger is annoyingly stubborn when he wants to be
And that’s why John don and Ronnie all get to go to Bali
they come back
And roger has moved out
and he’s like. uh. can i? am i allowed to see the kids
and they’re like wait what?
and they’re like OF COURSE WHY DID YOU MOVE OUT???
and he’s like. you uh. u said? that if i stuck with brian that we were like. done. and like brian’s a fuckhead and chrissie deserved none of what he did but uhhhhh he’s also like. my best friend and he’s going thru some shit even if it’s self inflicted u know and um. you guys have each other i guess so like i knew you’d be okay but i just.
i’d really like to be able to see the kids
and fucking miami ends up at the door
with all the NDA’s and legal shit they sorted out
like ok so, here’s how separation is going to work
and they’re like wait no no no we just–we were just upset???
but roger is like but you threatened to end our relationship and withhold sex unless i give in to what you guys want and i’m sorry but i…i can’t do that
and miami is literally like you. you all. left. and you took the kids with you. you left a NOTE
what the fuck did u think he was going to think?
and they’re like WE TOLD HIM WHERE WE WERE
WE THOUGHT HE’D COME
miami is like
“bali” is not an invitation
like no you thought you could manipulate him into bending to your way
that doesn’t COUNT
miami is Team Roger
which is how they know They Fucked Up
and roger just kneels down before their little army of kids and gives them giant hugs and is like no matter what i will always love you guys
and then miami like takes him outside and is like i will take you all for everything he’s owed
and roger goes and lives with freddie
brian ofc has NO IDEA any of this is even fucking happening
maybe thats when roger starts The Cross
and its all angsty heartbroken shit and Johns like HE’S QUIT THE BAND
and the three of them are like shit
we do not work together without roger
miami ends up being like the weird go between who picks up the kids for their weekends with roger
and they beg miami for information
and miami is like you do not deserve to know how he is
and crystal is like look, i get that you’re supporting my girlfriend but now you’ve hurt my best friend and my boss like…do you understand how your actions have fucked me???
and roger isn’t really? doing well? but he also know he can’t afford to fall apart because if he goes to shit there’s an excuse for him to not be able to see the kids???? and like he doesn’t wanna think they’d do that??? but he only has legal rights to like. three of them.
and the thought of never getting to see all of his kids keeps him up at night and he spends a lot of time drinking
like a lot a lot
and he writes all the kids letters from where he’s holed up working on the cross and he makes it sound like hes! doing! so! well! on! his! own!
the kids get little gifts delivered? like all the time
bc he’s always thinking of them and he has the money to just.. send them trinkets
ugh ok so they’re separated for a while then like. just under a year maybe?
rog moves out of fred’s after two months
when it becomes apparent that uh
this isn’t
he gets his own little shitty house
this might be for Real
and he tries to get one with rooms for each of the kids
and when they come to visit he’s like look here’s something for you and bunkbeds for the twins that aren’t twins and a pool and maybe we can get a dog?
but the kids just want to pile into bed with him
but one of them like is crying? and john’s like whats wrong? and she’s lke do you think papa is lonely in his big house who’s going to cuddle him at night he’s all alone
and johns like……….. fuck
like not only have we broken the best relationship we’ve ever been in but we have broken our children too
the kids asking roger in the big puppy pile in his bed and he’s like well i cuddle you all SO MUCH while your here that it it keeps me warm even when you go home
that why i hug you all as soon as i see you!!!! i need a top up of your love!!!! gotta keep me toastie warm :)
and freddie is a fucking liar he’s like roger is doing BETTER THAN EVER he is so FUCKING HAPPY NOW and hes like ROGER IS THIRTY FLIRTY AND THRIVING AND YOU GUYS ARE MISSING OUT ON HOW HOT HE LOOKS NOW
like POST BREAK UP HE’S TONED AND FIT AND HE LOOKS AWESOME
flash to roger sitting on the floor of the kitchen in his boxers without a shirt on just sobbing into a pint of rocky road ice cream
roger: vaguely emaciated, surviving on cigarettes and gin and tonics
he hasn’t shaved but the man can’t grow a beard so its jsut ugly patches of hair
but!!! like the other three really only see him when the kids are around and??? yeah??? he looks good!
because no one can KNOW because as far as he’s concerned they didn’t want him
like he’s dressed nicely. he’s lost a bit of weight but well he’s hit his thirties so maybe not the Worst thing even if they did Love His Pudge
and he would never ever ever scare the kids by showing them how he looks
freddie’s like oh yeah roger’s GREAT
SO BRILLIANT
and you can’t tell he doesn’t sleep and has massive bags under his eyes because that is the dawn of the prescription sunglasses
TRIED TO HAVE HIM AROUND FOR SCRABBLE THE OTHER DAY BUT HES JUST GO GO GO THESE DAYS
freddies like you should hear the songs he’s written like that stuff is GOD
(the songs are just him weeping over a guitar track)
cut to the other day: freddie and roger playing scrabble for thirteen hours in between crying jags
the next day: chess, but the pieces are shot glasses
freddie is like in bed next to jim like i dunno how much more alcohol we can drink i’m running out of ways to make him drunk enough to forget
so jim makes him garden with him bc it gets him out of the house so he even gets a TAN but they just drink SO MUCH WHISKEY
then ronnie and dom and john are like look at him he’s golden tan he looks gorgeous
but the kids are like DAD HAS A STRAWBERRY PATCH!!!! AND WE PLANTED SUNFLOWERS TOGETHER
and jim is like he’s only evenly tanned because when he passed out in the garden i rolled him over so his back would get tan too
and yeah they’re like??????????? he looks so good????
and miami lowkey thinks hes helping but he is NOTbecause every time he sees him he’s like okay we can get you think much from your combined fortunes and the beach house and i can make it so you have custody of your legal kidsroger: they’re ALL MY KIDS MIAMI
but rogers mainly like i’m not gonna separate any of the kids that’s????? no. like. they belong as a family
even if i’m not……. part of that family….. any more…….
roger is like look i just want to be able to see them. i won’t take them form their parents and miami is like roger..you’re their parent too
and roger is like no i’m just like, their uncle now?
like i’m not in that family they made i clear that i am not allowed
A N Y W A Y S
ronnie is the one who sorta caves first
she’s lke look we started this and i kinda pushed for us to end it so i’m gonna fix it
john wont bc of the band dynamics, dom is top aware that it could splinter the group back into two couples, ronnie is really the only one who can
yeah and ronnie sorta. just shows up at his house in the middle of the night
and like (luckily for him) he’s just got in from a thing for the cross
so he Doesn’t look fucking awful
but he’s also fucking exhausted so he opens the door and is like FUCK are the kids okay!!! shit!!!! dom??? john???
and ronnie’s like everyone’s fine i just. i missed you?
and roger’s like. he’s so tired he’s just like ronnie….. i can’t do this right now. you can’t. you can’t just show up here
 that’s not fair.
and ronnie’s like…. well. she wasn’t sure how she was really expecting it to go because. yeah. they’re literally not been within about 50m from one another in fucking months
but she was. hoping at least for an “i miss you too”
but roger’s like. it’s really late, i’m… gonna go to bed. i really, really cannot do this right now. i’ll see the kids on friday.
and so ronnie goes home and bawls her eyes out to john and dom who are…. also kinda shook?
like. they were NOT expecting roger to turn her away like that, that’s… yeah. but like roger has been mostly by himself this whole time. like they’ve had one another but he’s. just been sorta trying to learn to keep his head above water by himself again and. it was actually a dick move showing up there unannounced. like, they basically left him with little to no warning they can’t just try and walk back in the door y’know?????
and anyway on friday miami comes to pick up the kids and ronnie is like uhhh i’m coming with
and miami is like uh. disrespectfully speaking? you fucking are not
and she’s like oh :) ur not taking my kids then
which. is just. another bad move? tbh
miami is like. right. fine. can i use ur phone to call the other father of ur children to tell him that one of their mothers won’t let him see them
and ronnie is like go right a fuckin head
and dom and john are sorta there like ronnie ronnie wtf are u doing ronnie
but ronnie’s like nah i’m calling his (miami’s) bluff
and dom is like no, uh, roger can have the kids
 but. miami calls
and ronnie is like not mine he can’t its all or nothing
he’s stood there in their parlour
and like obviously they can only hear his side of the conversation
dead eyeing ronnie like i fucking hold this band together out of sheer will
i can outlast you no matter what
Miami: Hi Rog, Miami. Yeah, yeah, the kids are fine. I’m at your old place right now, actually. No, yeah. No. Well, actually, Rog. Veronica says you can’t have the kids this week. No, she didn’t say anything to me about it before. No, no. I’m sorry, Rog. I know, I’m so sorry. She hasn’t said anything about next week yet. Yeah. Yeah. It’s alright, it’ll be alright. We’ll work something out. I’ll come right around, okay? Alright. Okay. I’ll let them know. Yeah, I promise. Just like you said. Won’t change a word. See you in a bit.
and ronnie is like what did he want you to say to us?!!!!
and miami just straight up blanks her and dom and john
and walks into the living room where the kids are, all ready to go
 and is like hey rugrats!
(which is totes rogers nickname for them)
and they’re all like!!!! uncle miami!!!!! are we going to see papa now???
Veronica is like ho don’t you fucking say it
and he’s like i’m really sorry guys (and ronnie goes to interrupt but he stops her) but daddy has the flu
and the kids are like!!!! oh no!!!!
and he’s like so you can’t go see him this week :( he’s really really upset about it, and he HOPES he’ll be better next week because he misses all his little nuggets so much
and the eldest is like???? but!!!! our hugs keep daddy warm!!! if he’s sick he needs to be warm he can’t be cold!!! who’s going to recharge his cuddles???
and miami is like well he said if you all hug each other reaaaaally right he can feel it! so long as you all keep giving each other lots of hugs he’ll keep tight and cosy
and he goes to leave and is like to the three of them like…. i cannot believe that you are actually doing this. i didn’t know you could be so cruel
 and off he trots
 and ronnie is like. fuck
 fuck
 FUCK
and the other three would be like ronnie what…what the fuck was that???
they end up having…. a huge fight over it
 like giant
like “hi chrissie can you take the kids for a couple of days” fight
and chrissie is like uh…. i can take a few? but crystal is.     away
 work emergency
and johns like????? queens on a break????????????
and dom’s like???? ROGER, JOHN. ROGER IS THE EMERGENCY
so they’re like trying to find babysitters so they can fight it out but also maybe go to roger???
because the work emergency is code for roger is trying to destroy himself via alcohol poisoning
like miami knows the second he hung up that roger as going to just drown himself in whisky
so he used a payphone to call freddie and crystal
and is like i don’t care what you have to do or how you do it but you need to be at roger’s yesterday
but brian isn’t looking after their fucking kids
freddie isn’t home
and jim has heard what they did
and hes like that was fucking cruel
 crystal isn’t home
 miami is gone
 fucking RATTY doesn’t pick up
phoebe straight up was like freddie told me if i watched hte kids he’d kill me
he was like i am not even allowed to be speaking with you thank you and goodnight
so they call mary and they’re like please mary
and mary is like as far as i’m concerned if you’re that worried about roger watching his own fucking children i do not know why you would call me as the better option
like fuck you you think roger can’t be with his kids and now you want to DUMP THEM ON ME??? “and anyway, i’m just stopping at home for the booze i have here. we’ve all been banned from the liquor stores with in a ten mile radius of…… a place.”
eventually they manage to scrounge enough family members on john and ronnie’s respective sides
but it. genuinely takes like over a day
everyone is either straight up just not answering or, if they are at home, not willing to step in
[meanwhile miami is on the fucking warpath he is like you wanna play chicken? i’ll roast you for dinner VERONICA he’s writing up a custody agreement so tight it will tie them up in court for years like he sits down at roger’s kitchen table while roger is profusely vomiting up all the alcohol he had and then some and he’s like they’re gonna fucking pay
he’s getting the kids and the houses and over half the money and the royalties and here is a list of available bass players because HE GETS THE BAND TOO]
but yeah john ronnie and dom end up having a giant, fuck off, end all fight
and dom is like. u realise we just took his fucking kids away right
and johns like for fuck sake chrissie is FINE do you really think she wanted me to tank my career and for all of us to blow up our entire family because of her????
but the problem is. it’s BIGGER than the chrissie thing now
johns like she knew what she was getting into and she knew he was a cheater when they were fuckign dating
but really it was like, six different fights that all boiled over in the name of Chrissie’s Honor and then
the biggest thing is that like,
 when they were in bali
they did fully think roger would come
and but then he didnt and the spent 3 weeks getting angrier and angrier at the situation and him and brian and it spiraled into this black ugly mess of shit
and they didn’t realize how vital roger was to keeping them together like he’s the fun dad so the kids have been acting out more becasue he’s not there to get them to blow off steam
(plus like, the kids just lost their dad??? like he doesn’t live there anymore he’s at a different house and that is big)
and he’s the peace keeper (surprising despite his tempter but everyone else like stews he’s the only one who’s like lets talk it out)
and he makes them all coffee in the morning so they’re all vaguely caffeine deprived
and now ronnie has fucked it all TWICE first by showing up and then by TAKING HIS KIDS and dom was like when we had baby#2 and it was clearly rogers we promised him we SWORE that he would never ever ever take them away from him
like we said that as long as he was their papa that was IT he was their father and we would never ever take that from him
and ronnie’s like i didn’t MEAN IT he should KNOW I WOULD NEVER MEAN THAT
and johns like. ok. but uh. how would he know
 bc
 i mean. we sorta
did take his kids away from him
 when we went to bali
when we went to bali for a month
 and again
 and then
 now
 five days of the week
 and now?
 i mean
we have been… slowly taking the kids away from him
three weeks ago we made him give them back a day early so that we could do to the beach
bc we could only do it…. as a family…. on the weekend
and then two of the little ones (one of which is his) was sick and we kept them home
because. him seeing his kids is inconvenient to us
and we had them on the actual day of his birthday
which you know is his favorite day of the year because the kids make him breakfast in bed and wake him up singing happy birthday
so. us just pulling the plug isn’t… really all that unrealistic is it?
and dom and ronnie sort of get defensive and backing each other up
dom is like no!! we have NOT!!
and ronnie like how dare you
and johns like. ok. but see this is the problem
this was the problem in bali too
 like its us vs. him
we all get caught up in defending ourselves
when he’s NOT HERE TO DEFEND HIMSELF
that everything we do seems right
and he should… just be grateful?
 to have us?
 to see the kids?
and that we have proven that if he doesn’t agree with us he doesn’t haveus?
like originally it was just sex yeah
but then it was clear that you wouldnt budge
and neither would he and why should he have brian has been there for him longer than he’s even known me
like brian is terrible for cheating but he’s roger’s brother and we literally made him choose his family and when he wouldn’t
 we chose for him
and, as we’ve established, chrissie is FINE
 and a grown woman
and roger knew that better than any of us because crystal was filling him in on EVERYTHING
she probably didn’t fucking need the two of you, and then me, ripping apart our family, the band, and the various social circles we run in
or even WANT us to do that
 and dom’s like……. i really miss him
i’ve been trying really hard not to
bc it’s easier to be angry
and i didn’t want it to seem like i love him more than you guys
because i know it can be hard sometimes like not falling into those couple-y behaviours
and i didn’t want to do that
but i really really miss him
but like, roger is my first
he is my first real love and i love you both so much but he’s my roger
and. it’s been really hard watching [youngest] hit milestones and rogers not here to see them
(and they tried to be nice and send videos and pictures but its not the same!!
so they just stopped telling him hoping that the kid would do it there and roger would think it was the first time
but that just made roger feel like they didn’t care enough about him
to be like oh hey your kid’s walking sucks that you had to learn form the older kid insead of the other parents)
and dom’s like. and it’s made worse because. he wouldn’t have let this happen if it was one of us
 and john is like. uh
and ronnie’s like fuck. no. ur right. he wouldn’t have
dom’s like. right back at the beginning he was always saying that he’d make sure we were all involved in the kids lives no matter what that this wouldn’t happen he wouldn’t let it
and we did it to him
and ronnie is like. how the fuck do we fix this
bc shit like that. like their youngest hitting milestones???? like that feels like something they stole from him bc they can’t give that back
for like the first time john actually cries
and is like what have we done
and yeah. the fight just sorta ends with all three of them in tears and just. sort of silent
because maybe that was the biggest issue
 because. what the fuck
because chrissie was pregnant and maybe dom was pregnant and they were like imagine this was us
 and we got cheated on
and so when the whole Bali Thing happens the kid is like maybe 6 months?
so roger genuinely misses over half of this kids life
and kidlet just. doesn’t have the same bond with him???
because there’s so little you can be there for when you get every weekend
 and roger knows
but the other three don’t because they haven’t seen him with the kids?
but the kid just cries the whole weekend and wants his “daddy”
kidlet isn’t really comfy around roger and neither, really, is their second youngest who is withdrawing
and roger is just like???? these are my KIDS
and the second youngest is roger’s
and i’m a STRANGER to them
and he tries so hard! but the other problem is like, we have so many kids
 and i am one person
like he is stretched so thin
so he can only do so much like if hte baby is crying he has to take care of the baby sorry oldest ones i can’t go play outside with you
and the three of them just realize, like, what have we done???
cut to roger’s house he’s just lying on the floor not even crying just laying there his bedroom is ruined because he hung up with miami and just trashed it
and is laying on his floor like i want to die here
john calls while the Roger Stomach Pumping Emergency Squad are on day three of their duties
and crystal picks up which is. it’s not the BEST he could have hoped for, which would have been freddie, but it’s the second best bc crystal still nominally works for him
(crystal is like i’m gonna fucking quit like i will take the cross to the NEXT LEVEL even if i have to KILL JOHN TO DO IT)
and johns like ok this is. i’m just calling to say that i’m going to come around tomorrow? i’ll be there are 12. i’m not asking for permission, but i’m just calling to give you a heads up. to give roger a heads up
and so. they uh. sober roger up. do their best to make him somewhat presentable? (does not work. he refuses to shave or shower or get changed out of his Depression Pajamas. he swills some mouthwash, they call it a win)
(depression pajamas are john’s pants and the joke shirt ronnie and dom bought him for his birthday years ago thats like save a drum bang a drummer)
and then. they go upstairs, just leaving miami downstairs except he’s Not Allowed To Talk
he is there, strictly, as roger’s legal representation
miami just holds all the papers for legal divorce and separation the papers that are going to FUCK THEM UP if roger says so
and john shows up and he’s like. oh. um. this isn’t. this isn’t really a legal talk?????? and miami is like yes well y’all do have a history of Technical Kidnapping so
 can’t be too careful 🙃
and roger just. doesn’t give a shit
he’s like miami can you shut the fuck up
like what the fuck do you think johns going to do that’s worse than break up with me and refuse to let me see my kids?
what, have you all gangbanged my mum too? just for a giggle?
and john is like. uh. no. winnie is. un-gangbanged. as far as i know.
and rog is like well there you go, everything appears to be Just As Shit as it was yesterday and no worse
and johns like look. i just. ronnie honestly didn’t mean that you couldn’t see the kids, not at all. she just. she just wanted to see you and the kids were… leverage? sort of? which sounds awful
and roger is like. yeah. that sounds pretty fucking awful, actually
and he’s like where’s my alcohol and miami is like as your legal representative and your medical emergency contact i must advise you not to drink anymore as i do not believe your liver will survive
(miami [visibly jots down john calling the children leverage])
but yeah rogers like. well. here i fucking am.
and johns like. this is all. it’s all fucked up. we love you? we never stopped loving you? this has all spiralled way out of control. the girls were just mad about chrissie and
and roger is like?? do u think i give a FUCK about chrissie???? none of this was EVER about chrissie on my side. this was about the three of you deciding that our relationship with acceptable fucking collateral for you to throw about to win arguments and get me to do what you wanted
[miami in the corner scribbling it all down]
that’s now how relationships fucking work, john. and i never thought you’d take my children away from me for it.
and johns like. i know. i’m sorry, we’re sorry. it honestly just grew out of control. when we were in bali we thought you would come and then it would have been fine, but you didn’t and we got angry and
and rogers like?!! i didn’t do what u wanted so you ran away with my children for a month
i couldn’t have come even if i WANTED to
“gone to bali” is not a fucking address, john
(and the thing is when they wrote that? it was tongue in cheek. it was a “come find us”. but, well. that didn’t work out as intended, did it?)
like they thought of course roger would like, call miami to find them or hell ratty or something like they all have the same credit cards they could figure it out…right?
and johns like. i’m sorry. can you. would you be…. interested? in talking to all three of us? we love you, and we miss you. we want to try and save this
and roger is like i dont know
i don’t know if it can be saved
and well. that’s enough to get a foot in the door because.    his kids. roger would grin and bear his way thru 16 and a half years of painful awkwardness on his part of it means he gets to be with his kids as they grow
 but he’s not saying yes
he’s saying he’ll talk to all three of them together
 but miami will be there
 and miami is like 💅
and so they set a date for the next monday
and this time roger is wearing like. a fucking suit, he’s all scrubbed up
and they’re like???????? what the fuck
(john totally went home and told the other three how terrible he looked)
but this time like. it’s…. it’s make or fucking break like if they walk out of this and he can’t see it being salvaged then… that’s it
he’ll be giving them the (kindest) separation and custody agreement’s that miami has drawn up
miami has like three all drawn up and ready depending on how it goes
one is niceish one is harsher and the last is scourged earth
nice: they get half his assets, he gets friday evening-sunday afternoon and ¾ of all school holidays
harsh: ¼ assets (minus property and future royalty income from existing tracks), friday afternoon school pick up- sunday evening, and all school holidays apart from three days beginning and end, weekends, and potentially visitation right son Public Holidays (such as christmas day)
scourged earth: ½ present cash assets (nothing else), friday afternoon pick up - Tuesday morning drop off, all school holidays minus weekends (excepting public holidays. so if xmas day falls on a sunday? too fucking bad)
miami is like i will wipe the board with you if he asks and i will not hesitate
and he WILL be going to court to attempt to win rights to have ALL of the children involved in those custody agreements (miami thinks they have a case given how many interviews they’ve given over the years referencing how the children view each other as brother and sister)
 plus there’s like squatter’s/commonlaw rights
yeah basically miami is. uh ready to destroy
like roger is the common law parent because he has lived with these kids in that house for 7 years
roger’s one request was just can i have enough to buy a house big enough for all the kids to come visit and can i just see them? like even if its once a month i just want to see them
miami is like i gotchu fam you’re my favorite tell the others
BUT YES SO roger is like i’m really just here to see if there’s anything to salvage.
 and like
 dom immediately bursts into tears
she hasnt seen him in person since he LEFT
and because??? how could there not be??????????
dom is willing to give ANYTHING to fix it
and ronnie is like. horrified. she keeps going to reach across the table to hold his hand before catching herself
and she starts. she apologised for what happened the other day, for crossing that line
and rogers like… it’s been coming for a while now
because he always knew one day the kids would stop coming
like either they wouldn’t let him see them
or the kids wouldn’t want to come see the guy who was once their dad but now just has his own home
like the two youngest already don’t want him
 so it makes sense
 yeah.
and dom’s like… do you still love us?
 because i still love you
and rogers like. i. i could never stop loving any of you???? but i also cant ever forget the past year and the things that have happened either
That’s what makes it hurt the most is like I still love you?? I will always love you you’re the mothers of my children and John you’re their father like you’re raising my kids
and johns like well. love is a start, yes?
and roger’s like. yes. but i love my kids more, and. i spent the last year hoping we were just… going to work it out. that this was going to stop, but it hasn’t. it’s got worse. and i suppose it’s a good thing that you did what you did last week because instead of the kids being slowly taken away from me and me having to accept it over time, it happened all at once and i can’t take that. i Won’t take that again. and so now i know that if this isn’t going to work out that i am Going to have a relationship with my kids, if i have to fight you all in the courts for it
and ronnie’s like we’re not? we’re not going to fight you
and miami that sneaky bastard pulls out the SCORCHED EARTH custody agreement and is like so you’ll sign this?
and dom’s like what the fuck is it?????? and he’s like custody agreement. in the event of your separation from roger, dominique, and/or his departure from the home you share with john and veronica he would be entitled, by contract, to have the children (ALL OF THEM, those children being those who were born between 1974 and 1983) from friday school pick up to tuesday morning school drop off, and the entirety of school holidays apart from weekends.
and johns like fuck. that’s. a lot of time
and roger is like? i haven’t had all of the children together in over a month
and ronnie is like fuck. you haven’t, have you? there’s been….
and miami picks up another piece of paper and starts listing off reasons
Because he’s been picking them up and dropping them off and every single time one of them isn’t there he writes it down
dentist appointment, flu, stomach bug, school trip, trip to the beach “as a family”
They watch a roger visibly flinches at the “as a family” comment
and dom just signs it. plucks it right out of johns hand who is trying to read it (or the first page) and flips to her page and signs
 and johns like fuck!! dom!!!
and she’s like. roger wouldn’t ask us to sign anything that would be detrimental to the kids OR to us
we used to fucking know that, john
She’s like Roger is their father first and foremost and he has the right to as much time as he wants from them. If they miss us I will PERSONALLY but them their own phone line to call us but he gets as much time as he wants with them
and like. john and ronnie aren’t going to sign, not without their lawyer there to check it out, but. that sign from dom? is enough to get roger to agree to try
to agree that maybe there’s something to salvage there
Even if it’s just with dom
Because she was like I have faith in this man and I do not plan on ever losing him again so I’ll sign anything because it’ll never come down to it
Yeah because. well. he can live with that if it means he gets his kids
he can live with knowing that he’s not wholly Wanted in this relationship
if he’s… wanted a little bit and he gets to watch his kids grow up every day
 it’s 16 and a half years
 that’s doable
He will do what he needs to for his kids
he loves those rugrats so fucking much
he stays at home SO MUCH for the next like. year. bc he is BUILDING that relationship with the youngest two
Like the rest of the break? Is because roger will not leave the house
He is like nope not working I’m with the nuggets
And Freddie is like bring them to the studio just come
Like it’s just him with the kiddos
Writing and trying to get his babies to love him again
And he’s like I’m never leaving you ever again
 That first tour? Is ROUGH
like it is hard for roger to leave and he almost is like I can’t do it I can’t leave them what if they forget me again??
Which just adds to the angst because they did that to him
they made him doubt that his kids really love him
so then like, fast forward six-eight months???
oh my god even when they get back together? and get comfy with one another to start having sex again (which takes A WHILE) roger is suddenly. really adamant about using condoms
ugh he’d be sneaky about the condom thing at first too. like. he distracts them? clever fingers, clever mouth, encouraging them to help each otherlike it takes. a Distressing amount of time before finally dom is like I Want You To Fuck Meand that’s when That Whole Thing goes down
she’s like c'mon like how we used to
and roger is like uhhhhh i can’t do that
because you might get uh, pregnant
and the other three can’t think of anything better like yes this will reunite us
an roger can’t think of anything worse because the thought of losing another baby?? he wouldn’t, uh, he wouldn’t survive that
and they’re like????? look if u slept with someone else like. ok that…. hurts. but. get tested and if ur clean it’s fine
and rogers like. no
that’s not the problem
dom has straight up a breakdown about it when she realises what the issue is
because roger is GOOD with kids
roger LOVES babies
but he’s like i do not want to have babies with you because i cannot guarantee that you won’t take the baby from me again
and roger is just sitting here uncomfortable
while dom weeps and john and ronnie are like what the uck is going on
but. he’s not. he’s not comfortable? this doesn’t feel like a family he’s
building for keeps anymore
not really
it feels like something that can, might, will be taken away
he’s like look we can call it what we want but i get it i’m here for sex
and that’s great!! i love sex!! but i’m not going ot risk it
and the baby starts crying and roger sorta. automatically goes to get up before being like. oh. uh. it’s probably better if one of you goes. she. she’s not comfortable around me, she won’t settle if i go in
its not fair to the kids (because that’s who he’s really messed up over)
like they were so upset and it’s not fair to have them have to like, be separated form their homes and from their parents
roger is just so natural around the kids?
like u honestly wouldn’t even notice that he’d been gone
he slips right back in
he’s a bit distant for a few days, learning the new routines, new schedules, new favourites, new dislikes
but once he’s got it? he’s back in there
but just. flinching away from the casual touches that pass between the four of them
so later dom fucks john and forgets a condom and has a pregnancy scare
and roger is like. weirdly……. fine
and dom is like??????? what the hell ur ok with this??? if i am pregnant?
and roger is like…… i haven’t decided yet
and dom’s like wtf do u mean? and he’s like. it would be a dick move of me to just leave ig. so perhaps we could separate but i’d stay living here in a separate room from the three of you?
and ronnie is like? those are the only two options for you
we’ve been back together for like eight months
and rogers like? and we were separated for over a year
i’m still not sure if this is real
AND THEN
freddie calls john one night like. a month or so after the condom revelation (which they’ve all been. sorta sadly going along with? like it ruins the mood a little bit each time bc it’s a reminder that something’s a little bit broken here), and is like. look. i. i really shouldn’t be telling you this? but i think he’ll end up regretting it because i. god knows WHY but i have faith that you guys are all gonna pull thru this. but rog’s munich trip next week for the cross? yeah he’s booked in for a vasectomy.like he wouldn’t say anything because he doesn’t want them to make it a Big Deal
and they’re SO UPSET but they’re like we can’t tell him not to because…if he wants to, he wants to
So when he comes back from munich
they think he had a vasectomy
John is like how does one check for that?? Does his penis look different???
Does his sperm taste different?? How would we know???
but one night he just goes to ronnie Just bends her right over and is like let’s do this and it’s the hottest sex they’ve had
like they have INSANELY HOT SEX and they’re all. laying there. happy and sated. rog is curled up in the middle super asleep and the three of them are just all wide awake staring at the ceiling like huh. what feels weird
and then they realize and they’re like he didn’t use a condom so that means…..
:(
 and then they just PANIC
 Like ROGER
 ROGER YOUR CONDOM
and he’s like oh my godddd shut up i’ve gotta be up for swimming lessons in like. five hours oh my god
and ronnie is like maybe he did maybe he didn’t but like YES YOUR SWIMMERS ARE THE ISSUE RIGHT NOW
 THEY MIGHT BE SWIMMING
 IN ME
 ROGER
and roger is like is…that a problem???
and like they’re panicked bc!!!! he REALLY didn’t want any more kids!!!! they don’t wanna fuck with that they’re finally in a good place again!!!!!
and roger is like, sorry, guess i should have talked to you guys about having another kid???
but ye he’s. secure again. and their youngest is like. older now. he misses babies. and also miami still got all the old paperwork
and they’re like wait….so you didn’t get the vasectomy???
and roger is like lol no
so like, oops, ronnie, you uh, might be uh…pregnant
and they all just sort of fall on top of him because while they’re still not perfect
it’s a start
they have like, five more kids afterwards
also
veronica, the trooper, still having fucking babies into the mid 90s
 god bless her
Veronica’s uterus is the real MVP

How Did The Republicans Take Control Of Congress

What Is The New Balance Of Power In The House
House Democrats held onto their majority but lost seats to Republican challengers.
More than a dozen incumbent Democrats lost re-election bids, despite earlier projections they could gain up to 15 seats.
Democrats took the chamber after they netted 41 seats in the 2018 midterm elections, their largest single-year pickup since the post-Watergate midterms of 1974. But some of those new Democrats were among the partys losers in 2020.
Incoming Biden Administration And Democratic House Wont Have To Deal With A Republican
Democrats Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff wave to supporters during a joint rally on Nov. 15 in Marietta, Ga.
Democratic challengers Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock have defeated Georgias two incumbent Republican U.S. senators in the states runoff elections, the Associated Press said Wednesday, in a development that gives their party effective control of the Senate.
Ossoff and Warnock were projected the winners over Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler by the AP following campaigns that drew massive spending and worldwide attention because the runoffs were set to determine the balance of power in Washington. The AP , at about 2 a.m. Eastern, then followed with the call for Ossoff over Perdue on Wednesday afternoon.
President-elect Joe Bidens incoming administration and the Democratic-run House of Representatives now wont face the same checks on their policy priorities that they would have faced with a Republican-controlled Senate, though analysts have said the slim Democratic majority in the chamber could mean more power for moderate senators from either party.
See:With sweep expected in Georgia Senate races, Democrats have high hopes for what Biden can do
It is looking like the Democratic campaign machine was more effective at driving turnout than the Republican one, said Eurasia Group analyst Jon Lieber in a note late Tuesday.
Warnock then made just before 8 a.m. Eastern time on Wednesday.
Its Not All Bad News For Democrats
While it was unquestionably a good night for Republicans, Democrats still held onto most of the seats they won in 2018 and will continue to be the majority party in the House. Thats in part because they retained most of the suburban districts they picked up in 2018.
Of the 233 seats that Democrats held coming into the election, 186 of them were in districts that were predominantly or partly suburban in nature, according to density categorizations by Bloombergs CityLab. Thus far, Democrats have lost seven of those seats, but they captured one GOP-held suburban seat around Atlanta. And thanks to redistricting, theyve also won two formerly Republican seats around Greensboro and Raleigh in North Carolina, which reflect the partys strength in more populous areas.
Because of their relative success in the suburbs, Democrats kept many seats in places President Trump won in 2016. Coming into the election, Democrats held 30 seats in districts Trump carried in 2016, and they wouldve lost their majority if theyd lost more than half of them . But theyve won 18 of them so far and picked up one from the GOP . In fact, more than half of Republicans gains have come in seats representing places that Trump won by a pretty sizable margin in 2016. Well have to wait a bit before data can tell us how congressional districts voted in 2020, but for now it seems many Republican gains were made by picking off the lowest-hanging fruit.
Gop Women Made Big Gains
While the majority of the Republican caucus will still be men come 2021, there will be far more Republican women in Congress than there were this year. So far, it looks like at least , surpassing the record of 25 from the 109th Congress. Thats thanks in part to the record number of non-incumbent Republican women 15 whove won House contests. And its also because of how well Republican women did in tight races. The table below shows the Republican women who ran in Democratic-held House districts that were at least potentially competitive, according to FiveThirtyEights forecast. As of this writing, seven of them have won.
GOP women have flipped several Democratic seats

How Did Congress Take Control Of Reconstruction
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In early 1866, Congressional Republicans, appalled by mass killing of ex-slaves and adoption of restrictive black codes, seized control of Reconstruction from President Johnson. The 14th Amendment also reduced representation in Congress of any southern state that deprived African Americans of the vote.
What The Midterms Mean For President Obama And 2016
Only one in three voters in exit polls said the country was on the right track, and one in five said the government in Washington could never be trusted to do whats right. Two-thirds said the economic system is unfair.
The Republican swing fit a historical pattern: The last three two-term presidents Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush all served their last two years with the opposing party controlling both houses of Congress.
And the party controlling the White House has lost seats in the House in the midterm election every time but twice since World War II.
In the Senate, Democrat Mark Pryor of Arkansas was ousted by Rep. Tom Cotton, and Mark Udall of Colorado was bounced by Rep. Cory Gardner. Democratic Sen. Kay Hagan lost her seat to Thom Tillis.
Democrat Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire held off a furious challenge by ex-Sen. Scott Brown.
Republicans Joni Ernst in Iowa, Steve Daines in Montana, Mike Rounds in South Dakota and Shelley Moore Capito in West Virginia all captured seats held by retiring Democrats.
Four Flips For Democrats One For Republicans
Going into the election, the Democrats held 47 seats in the U.S. Senate while the Republicans held 53.
The Democrats have succeeded in flipping four seats: in Colorado, where former Governor John Hickenlooper easily ousted incumbent Cory Gardner, in Arizona, where former astronaut Mark Kelly defeated incumbent Martha McSally, and in Georgia, where Raphael Warnock defeated incumbent Kelly Loeffler and Jon Ossoff defeated incumbent David Perdue.
The Republicans have wrested back one previously Democratic seat in , where one-term incumbent Doug Jones was emphatically denied a second term by Tommy Tuberville, a former college head football coach, most recently at the University of Cincinnati.
Outgoing freshman Sens. Jones and Gardner were both considered vulnerable, as each was elected with less than 50% of the vote in 2018.
Republican Thom Tilliss victory over Cal Cunningham in North Carolinaby less than 2 percentage points according to the North Carolina Secretary of States latest tallyis one of several close Senate races that were not called until after election night. In addition to the seats from Georgia, close races also include the victories of incumbent senators Gary Peters and Susan Collins , which were not called until Nov. 4.
Trump Lost Everything For The Republicans
In four years, Trump has led the Republican Party from unified control of Washington to the wilderness.
About the author: David A. Graham is a staff writer at The Atlantic.
If we nominate Trump, we will get destroyed and we will deserve it, Senator Lindsey Graham .
The South Carolinians prediction didnt age well at first. Come January 2017, the Republican Party was in the catbird seat. With Trumps upset win over the Democratic candidate, Hillary Clinton, it controlled the White House, the Senate, and the House of Representatives. Trump would immediately be able to appoint a Supreme Court justice, too, giving GOP appointees an edge on the high court. Trump seemed to have cleared out the last vestiges of the Democrats New Deal coalition and built a new party that might withstand demographic changes expected to favor liberals. Graham, meanwhile, had a change of heart and became one of Trumps noisiest cheerleaders and closest allies.

David A. Graham: Trump is the loser
Nonetheless, Trump insisted on making the Georgia Senate runoffs about him too. The effect was disastrous. Democrats, especially Black voters, turned out in astonishing numbers; suburban voters continued to reject Trump; and Republican turnout fell short, perhaps in part because the president had spent weeks telling his supporters that the states elections were rigged.

Republicans Can Win The Next Elections Through Gerrymandering Alone
Even if voting patterns remain the same, Republicans could still win more seats in Congress through redistricting
In Washington, the real insiders know that the true outrages are whats perfectly legal and that its simply a gaffe when someone accidentally blurts out something honest.
And so it barely made a ripple last week when a Texas congressman said aloud whats supposed to be kept to a backroom whisper: Republicans intend to retake the US House of Representatives in 2022 through gerrymandering.
We have redistricting coming up and the Republicans control most of that process in most of the states around the country, Representative Ronny Jackson told a conference of religious conservatives. That alone should get us the majority back.
Hes right. Republicans wont have to win more votes next year to claim the US House.
In fact, everyone could vote the exact same way for Congress next year as they did in 2020 when Democratic candidates nationwide won more than 4.7m votes than Republicans and narrowly held the chamber but under the new maps that will be in place, the Republican party would take control.
If Republicans aggressively maximize every advantage and crash through any of the usual guardrails and they have given every indication that they will theres little Democrats can do. And after a 2019 US supreme court decision declared partisan gerrymandering a non-justiciable political issue, the federal courts will be powerless as well.
Opinion:house Republicans Have Two Critical Advantages In 2022
Democrats hold the balance of power in Washington, D.C., but their margin is wafer-thin: Joe Biden is president, and the party controls both houses of Congress only very narrowly. Theyve already enacted $1.9 trillion of economic stimulus. Theyre with Republicans over the size of a bipartisan infrastructure bill. And theyre keen to pass a new voting rights law, although moderate Sen. Joe Manchin III might scuttle the effort.
Still, their time in the majority might be limited. We live in an era of bitter, closely divided elections. And in 2022, Republicans have two advantages that might soon give them the edge in the House.
The Republicans first advantage: The other party holds the White House. If Biden follows the path of other recent presidents, hell spend political capital, navigate crises and lose supporters in the process.
Barack Obama summarized this dynamic two years into his presidency: In the rush of activity, sometimes we lose track of the ways that we connected with folks that got us here in the first place. This is true of nearly every recent president. Ronald Reagan lost supporters as the 1981-82 recession tore through the economy. Obama alienated swing voters and energized tea party activists as he tried to advance the Affordable Care Act in Congress. And Bill Clinton lost voters when he attempted to pass a health-care reform bill of his own.
The GOPs second advantage: It draws the lines.

Republicans might be able to take control of Congress in next years midterm races without needing to win over a single additional voter.
As Democratic senators scramble to piece together a compromised version of the For the People Act, an electoral reform and voting rights bill, a new study finds that the GOP could gerrymander its way to victory in the 2022 midterms.
An analysis of Census data from a Democratic-aligned data firm called TargetSmart, first reported by Mother Jones, found that Republicans could pick up between six to 13 seats in the House of Representatives through redistricting electoral maps in just four southern states alone Georgia, Florida, North Carolina and Texas. If Republicans take five seats in the 2022 midterms, it would result in the GOP winning a majority of seats in the House, as Democrats currently have a five-seat lead in that legislative chamber.
Put another way, the GOP could win the midterm elections if voters behave the same way that they did in congressional elections in 2020, simply if Republican-run state legislatures are able to redraw maps in their own favor.

What was not included? Details on how these bills would be executed and what they would cost.
“It probably did not matter that it was vague on costs, and that was even an advantage,” Teske says. “The goals were big picture, and ones that many voters could understand, without getting intoand bogged down bythe details of budget costs, specific programs that might go away, etc.”
Divided Government In The United States
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jump to navigationJump to search
In the United States, divided government describes a situation in which one party controls the executive branch while another party controls one or both houses of the legislative branch.
Divided government is seen by different groups as a benefit or as an undesirable product of the model of governance used in the U.S. political system. Under said model, known as the separation of powers, the is divided into different branches. Each branch has separate and independent powers and areas of responsibility so that the powers of one branch are not in conflict with the powers associated with the others. However, the degree to which the president of the United States has control of often determines their political strength – such as the ability to pass sponsored legislation, ratify treaties, and have members and judges approved.
Early in the 19th century, divided government was rare, but since the 1970s it has become increasingly common.
When Obama Had Total Control Of Congress
The Reverend
Lies are easy to get away with if they are repeated often enough and given voice by many different people. Repeat a lie often enough and that lie often becomes conventional wisdom. Repeating a lie doesn’t change the lie into the truth, it changes the people hearing the repeated lie. They begin to accept the lie as truth. One huge example: ‘Iraq has WMD.’
Lies make it impossible for people to communicate with each other……lies make it impossible to, as the Villagers often talk about it, have a real “conversation.”
One particular lie, often stated by right-of-center advocates, is the statement….”if Barack Obama wanted to increase taxes on the rich, stop the wars, pass a budget…blah, blah…..he could have chosen to do so because he had “total control” of the House and Senate for two full years.”
Sometimes the “two full years” is omitted from the statement……but the lie is spread nevertheless, by the “total control of Congress” phrase.
Let’s clear that all up, shall we?
Starting January 2009, at the beginning of the 111th Congress, in the month that Barack Obama was inaugurated president, the House of Representatives was made up of 257 Democrats and 178 Republicans. There is no question that Democrats had total control in the House from 2009-2011.
But legislation does not become law without the Senate.
“Total control”, then, of the Senate requires 60 Democratic or Republican Senators.
*Chronology link
Senate Democrats And The Filibuster
Once again, Democrats fall short of the filibuster-proof 60-vote Senate majority by a whopping 10 votes.
The last time Democrats won a majority in the Senate was in 2008, when they rode Obamas coattails to victory. They had 59 votes in the Senate, far more than Democrats do now.
Obama was able to pull over a few Republican Senate votes in 2009 to pass the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act after the 2008 financial crisis. But on many other legislative priorities, McConnells Republican minority threw up a 60-vote barrier to passing most Democratic legislation.
McConnell admitted two years into the Obama era that he had to do everything he could to ensure the Obama presidency was one term. The former president wrote in his new memoir that the filibuster would prove to be the most chronic political headache of my presidency.
With President Obama, no matter how much outreach he tried to do with Congressional Republicans, there seemed to be absolutely no interest and no acceptance with what he was trying to do, Schiliro said. If congressional Republicans take that approach this time, it will be very difficult to get anything done.
That would break the Senate, Manchin told the . If you basically do away with the filibuster altogether for legislation, you wont have the Senate. Youre a glorified House. And I will not do that.
Democrats Lost A Long Hold On Congress
Democrats, meanwhile, characterized the plan as calling for radical changes and solutions that would make America worse off.
“They highlighted some of the more extreme elements and tried to show the damage it could cause to policies and institutions that had been in place for decades,” Teske says. “Some mocked it as the ‘Contract on America’not ‘with’as with a ‘hit job’ on the American people.”
And while Republicans won big at the ballot box that year, Teske says it was going to be a tough year for Democrats anyway, considering Clinton’s unpopularity, a weak economy and the history of midterms favoring the party not held by the president.
“But, the contract did show a coherent opposition plan that probably helped re-capture many of these seats,” he notes. “At the same time, pendulums do swing in American politics and after 60 years of pretty dominant Democratic control of both houses of Congress, there was probably going to be a change. But, it is probably fair to say that Gingrichs contract was in the right place, at the right time, for the Republican party.”
Which Congressional Action Was An Attempt By Radical Republicans To Advance Their Plan For Reconstruction
1867 Military Reconstruction ActThe 1867 Military Reconstruction Act, which encompassed the vision of Radical Republicans, set a new direction for Reconstruction in the South. Republicans saw this law, and three supplementary laws passed by Congress that year, called the Reconstruction Acts, as a way to deal with the disorder in the South.

Republicans Set To Rebound Big In 2022 Midterms Unless
We are just 600 short days away from the 2022 midterm elections, which means it is the perfect time to handicap the Republicans chances to win back the House, Senate and prepare a serious challenge to President Biden
Patrick Joseph ToomeyBlack women look to build upon gains in coming electionsWatch live: GOP senators present new infrastructure proposalSasse rebuked by Nebraska Republican Party over impeachment vote already have Democrats scrambling to flip those seats in much easier electoral terrain.
As I noted in The Hill last month, Republicans are on the hook to defend 20 of their seats in 2022, while Team Blue has just 14 seats to hold, all in states won by Joe Biden in 2020. Since March is a perfect month for sports analogies, a good defense provides for a strong offense when the status quo is Democrats retaining control of the upper chamber. While there is clearly a power in incumbency, FiveThirtyEight suggests that senate vacancies are actually more of a mixed bag. In election cycles since 1974, the party with the most Senate retirements has actually gained seats just as often as it has lost them. For every year like 2008, when more Republicans than Democrats retired and Republicans lost seats accordingly, theres a year like 2012, when a whopping seven Democrats retired yet the party picked up two Senate seats.
How these various Rs play out in the next few months will determine if the Rs are successful in 2022.
How Republicans Could Rig The Battle For Control Of Congress
The Atlantic
Democrats face a daunting future of severe Republican gerrymandering that could flip control of the House in 2022 and suppress diverse younger generations political influence for years to come, according to a new study released today. Those findings underscore the stakes in Democrats efforts to pass national legislation combatting such electoral manipulation.
The four big states to watch are Texas, Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina, where the GOP enjoys complete control over the redistricting process, says Michael Li, a senior counsel at the Brennan Center for Justice and the author of the new report on how congressional redistricting could unfold following the 2020 census. Those four states, which are seat-rich and where Republicans control the process, could decide who controls the next Congress, he told me.
Over the longer term, Republican states could impose gerrymanders that prevent the nations growing nonwhite population from building political power commensurate with its numberseven though voters of color accounted for about four in five newly eligible voters in the past decade, the study found.
When Senate Democrats like Joe Manchin, Kyrsten Sinema, and Feinstein oppose getting rid of the filibuster, Pfeiffer added, they are deciding to make it more likely that their time in the majority is ever so brief.
The Midterms Introduced Extreme Divisive Politics
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As for the contract’s lasting impact? Most of its ideas and proposals did not pass Congress, or were vetoed by Clinton, and, according to Teske, the ones that did pass were not radical departures and instead relatively minor in scope. But it did put Republicans back in power in Congress, which they’ve largely held onto in the years since.
“The Gingrich approach of extreme right ideas, combined with a scorched-earth personal level of politics in attacking opponentslater seen in Clintons investigations and impeachmenthas also had a major impact on American politics” he says. “It helped bring a much more ‘win at all costs’ mentality, and a divisiveness that persists today.”
Opinion:the House Looks Like A Gop Lock In 2022 But The Senate Will Be Much Harder
Redistricting will take place in almost every congressional district in the next 18 months. The party of first-term presidents usually loses seats in midterms following their inauguration President Barack Obamas Democrats lost 63 seats in 2010 and President Donald Trumps Republicans lost 40 in 2018 but the redistricting process throws a wrench into the gears of prediction models.
President George W. Bush saw his party add nine seats in the House in 2002. Many think this was a consequence of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on America nearly 14 months earlier, but the GOP, through Republican-led state legislatures, controlled most of the redistricting in the two years before the vote, and thus gerrymandering provided a political benefit. Republicans will also have a firm grip on redistricting ahead of the 2022 midterms.
The Brennan Center has that the GOP will enjoy complete control of drawing new boundaries for 181 congressional districts, compared with a maximum of 74 for Democrats, though the final numbers could fluctuate once the pandemic-delayed census is completed. Gerrymandering for political advantage has its critics, but both parties engage in it whenever they get the opportunity. In 2022, Republicans just have much better prospects. Democrats will draw districts in Illinois and Massachusetts to protect Democrats, while in Republican-controlled states such as Florida, Ohio and Texas, the GOP will bring the redistricting hammer down on Democrats.

How Did Congress Take Control Of Reconstruction
Tumblr media

Republicans Can Win The Next Elections Through Gerrymandering Alone
youtube

“It probably did not matter that it was vague on costs, and that was even an advantage,” Teske says. “The goals were big picture, and ones that many voters could understand, without getting intoand bogged down bythe details of budget costs, specific programs that might go away, etc.”
Divided Government In The United States
Tumblr media

Tumblr media

The lodges are catholic ronnie is wearing white also the church the name of the episode "the wicked and the Divine " obviously something religious is happening cuz church also maybe it's her confirmartion ? ( she's too old for that to be her communion )
I … don’t think the show will go for something that religious to be honest with you. I don’t think the plot line allows for it. So far, the religious aspect have been in  heavy non-subtle symbolism throughout.
Maybe non-related, but Robin Givens, who plays Major McCoy, was also on set and filmed in the Lodges apartment with Mark and Marisol (and Cami was there, I’m sure).
But you might be right! I personally don’t think thats the direction they are heading but I honestly have NO clue.

hello hello yall, it’s your gal ronnie with a second muse!! this is my honey eloisa and i have so many ideas for her and i’m so excited to bring her to life since i’ve been dying to play her properly for so long, so PLease feel free to come plot w/ us ok ? OK ! anyway, her full bio can be found here if you feel so inclined, but it’s a bit long, so i’ll have a couple points under the cut summarizing it. also under the cut are some wanted connections ! that’s pretty much it for now, k byE
that’s not EMILY RATAJKOWSKI walking around?? nah, but ELOISA GOMOLKA gets that all the time. SHE’S actually from TORQUAY, ENGLAND, though they live in LA JOLLA now.  you’ve probably heard that 23 year old SERVER of CALIFORNIA PIZZA KITCHEN being referred to as the ZEALOT of this place. you know, i always see them EXPLORING AND TRAVELING or blasting A LITTLE DEATH BY THE NEIGHBOURHOOD on their lunch break..whatever.
alright so my baby was born and raised in torquay, england to a pretty religious, polish family. her father is polish and her mother is english, but their lifestyle and culture at home was very much polish based
also her actual birth name is katarzyna eloisa gomolka, but growing up in england, many people had a hard time pronouncing her first name so her friends & classmates and all that often called her by her middle name instead -- eloisa. so it eventually stuck and she legally changed around her first & middle names. ..  .
this girl loves loves loves learning languages and studying other cultures and lifestyles , like in school , she was always that girl that took as many foreign language classes as she could. she knows the basics to a bunch of different languages but she’s fluent in english, polish, french, and spanish.
also shes WILD ok . . . like her own weird brand of wild. she’s so Unexpected .. . its strange. but i love her sm. she’s loud, opinionated, stubborn, unpredictable, SUPER adventurous, you name it. she’s either laughing her ass off with childish excitement or spewing fire From her mouth, knowing NO boundaries . . there’s no in between like . . . shes so random, all over the place and all in your face most of the time im sorry . . . & when she loves u she clingy
anyway she also used to play the violin and horseback ride a lot growing up. her grandpa from her moms side taught her how to ride horses and she loved going to his farm in the english countryside to ride & hear his wise stories and all that. he was like her hero.
however, one day, right before eloisa was about to start her last year of high school  . . . long story short . . . there was an accident and grandpa passed away *cries* .  . . el took his death super hard since they were so close . . which caused her to get less enthusiastic about going to college and she just lost all interest at caring at all tbh, becoming more of a troublemaker at school, so her grades dropped her last year and so did all her aspirations for her future
after high school, instead of enrolling in postsecondary, she just wanted to get away from it all so she decided to trust in her adventurous side and partake in a work abroad program where she would be backpacking across south america, teaching english and helping build up communities. she did that until she was twenty-one. it was a Wild ride
in the midst of the program, while in colombia, she got involved w/ some sketchy dude who was in the drugs and car stealing business  . . . she loved the thrill & she thought she was so in love BUt he was super gross and toxic and ended up betraying her, stealing her money, and leaving her on the side of the road one night on one of his heists. aNYWAY it sucked
she finished the program and then decided to work for the work abroad program’s headquarters, which are situated in california. . . so thats how she got to san diego
eventually her position there terminated but she decided to stay in cali bc its very much her type of vibe SO now shes working at fashion valley & thats where yall come in
SOME WANTED CONNECTIONS
OPPOSITES ATTRACT -- cheesy name but i think it’d be cool for her to have a pal who’s kind of the complete or near opposite of her but they kind of work ? ? like honestly this girl can TALK and ramble on for so long about random shit, so i think it’d be an interesting dynamic for her to have someone who just lets her Go Off and they just like to listen to her talk and she just likes having someone to listen to her . . . inspo is from this pic right HERE
EAT THIS --  while in south america, el kind of developed a huge respect and love for cuisine and cooking so now shes kind of obsessed with searching up random, exotic recipes and trying them out. sometimes her cooking backfires and is not the greatest but shes so determined to get things right and just loves Doing it so much that she doesnt care. . . so maybe she can have like a taste testing buddy or someone who likes to cook w her or something idk ? ? shfskd omg HC: she works as a server at ca pizza kitchen but i s2g she prob always tries to sneak in the kitchen and help cook But since shes so all over the place, theyre always like “ EL GTFO OF HeRE !!!!!”
MOTHER HEN / PAPA BEAR -- this girl needs someone to keep her in line some of the time okay. she doesnt have any family here in cali so she’d love to have someone who takes care of her and makes sure she doesnt go too far ..  like someone she looks up to in a sister/brother/guardian figure type of way ? ?
ZOOLOGY -- eloisa doesnt have any pets .. .  she can hardly take care of herself like what u think imma let this girl have a dog ? ? NO she can have a pet ROCK ( she does ) . . . but she loves animals so she’d love hAving a pal where she can just come by and play w their pets or smthg like she’ll be the best play mate ever  .. . i just wouldnt trust her to take care of ur animal for a week or smthg lmao
ADVENTURE TIME -- if u ever just want to do something crazy or try something new. . . literally just hit up eloisa . . . so i’d love for her to have friends who just text her up like i’m Not feeling good take me somewhere. . . and SHE WILL . . .or even if they’re not sad and just want to do something exciting . .. hit her up
OOPS :( -- ok So el can be a bit clumsy and random so i think a cool connection with someone would be like maybe one day eloisa broke something of theirs or fucked up their car or dyed their hair wrong or something stupid like that . . . basically eloisa fucked up . . . and ever since then, that person doesnt really trust her anymore and is kind of annoyed with her presence in general . . . BUT eloisa feels so BAD and guilty about it so now she basically tries to do everything in her power to make it up to the other person but they just keep not having it yknow ? ?
ORANGE CRUSH -- ok ur typical crush plot bc theyre so fluffy and cute. . . but i think maybe a plot where the crush doesnt even have to be super romantic or sexual yknow ? ? like i can definitely see eloisa just being so interested in everything the other person does and just loving being around them and loving everything they do . . . so obsessed w their comportments . . . but it can be in such a fluffy, platonic way like That feeling when u see a rly cute puppy or baby penguin . . . eloisa just wants to hug ur muse and love them But not even sexually yknow ? ?
TAKE ME WITH YOU -- ok i love this plot sm . . . maybe like a friendship where they both want to see the world together ? ? eloisa is really big on travelling so id love for her to have a friend where they’ve been slowly putting together their dream trip where they see the world together. and their friendship is so heavily based on them sending each other places around the world where they want to go and putting together bucketlists and itineraries for if they ever end up saving money and travelling together ? ? so fun
SCIENCE PROJECT -- there’s not much that scares el and she doesnt get pushed away so easily  . ..  but i think an interesting dynamic could be if there actually was someone who kind of freaks her out yknow?? a relationship where the person actually kind of intimidates her and theres just something about the person that makes eloisa question everything .. . kind of like a science project. shes always studying them carefully, unsure of how to react to what they say . . . they’re just bizarre to her and she wants to know more
POKE ! -- basically someone she loves to annoy and pick on , but not in a hateful way
TEACH ME -- maybe someone who is teaching eloisa a new skill or language or how to do something that they’re good at because eloisa would love that so much .. . she loves trying new things.. . .like honestly anything  ..  . even if she keeps failing
TINDER DATE -- ok so in my head, i feel like eloisa would be that type of person to troll people on tinder and play around with them ..  so maybe your muse got caught up in her trap once and she trolled them on tinder lmao ? ? ? i think thatd be so funny and she just loves laughing about it all the time . .
I DO . . . WAIT, NO, I DON’T ! -- ok So this is inspired by that one episode in friends where rachel and ross get married drunk in vegas once . . . so Like literally that lmao. like that is SO something that would happen to el. like maybe one time, they found themselves in vegas together, they got super drunk, and legit got married that same night super quick ? ? ? and obviously theyre divorced now but i think that’d be a funny dynamic and lil treasure of the past to have in a friendship/relationship
SOME TYPICAL ONES THAT I CANT GET ENOUGH OF -- exes, flings, hook ups, went on a few dates in the past, best friends ( someone to braid her hair and take bubble baths w her <3 ), enemies ( maybe someone who doesnt agree w how she lives her life or her whole vibe bc she can be a bit much sometimes lmao ), etc.
or literally anything else lol

since i finished the assassination of gianni versace today i just wanna ramble a little bit bc... wow ((this got Very long so tl;dr- Watch The Show))
So i guess first off im gonna say again, darren did SUCH an incredible job like.... he was s o unsettling as cunanan, his ability to just make u shudder with a phrase or a lie or a motion, and his ability to portray the ease w/ which cunanan change his personalities was AMAZING. Secondly CINEMATOGRAPHY!! that show is... So beautifully shot i mean.. woah. and the use of colors to set the tone of a scene was... stunning, especially the motif (i think thats the right term akdjhsk i was never good at remembering) of the color pink was just.. it tied everything together so well. tbh i still dont quite understand why pink was used but it was brilliant. maybe its bc i took a film studies class recently but while i was watching i just Noticed every shot and each shot or angle or etc created such a vivid story it was just so well done. Thirdly i think the show did a really amazing job of shedding light on how awful the situation was for gay men at the time when, given the context, it very easily could have turned into a show demonizing queerness, i imagine this is largely due to who was involved w/ the show. regardless i just think it was pretty great that the show really made u Understand some of the struggles which gay men faced. Especially the whole.. how do i word... like.. portrayal of how the police force took much longer to address the issue than they should have bc the victims and the killer were gay, in the last episode ronnie's questioning scene was So powerful, basically just the discussion over how being gay was considered so unspeakable that it was almost more of a crime that literal murder if that makes any sense?? Alternatively that they gay male victims were not given the quick justice they probably would have gotten had they been straight. basically i just think the show did an incredible job of narrating how cunanan's being gay/being gay overall had a major impact on how one was (and still today!!) perceived. Fourthly (and pretty directly connected) it was so incredibly interesting to like... get inside cunanan's head and his past and to think abt how he ended up the way he did. even now we still dont have solid reasons for why he killed any of his victims, its more or less speculation. so having this take on it, seeing how his life probably impacted his actions was so interesting. also since it remains very vague how much is fact how much is fiction and, when seen through cunanan's eyes, how much was just the reality he constructed for himself its just... he very nearly becomes a villain u can sympathize with. its like.. obviously he went irredeemably Bad but bc there is so little factually known about why, and bc i dont believe that anyone is simply born that way-- i think people are virtually always a product of their circumstances-- it makes you just want to get inside his head, understand how his experiences shaped him. and ofc they did show his childhood and how his father (potentially) shaped his persona of lying and dreaming of grandeur, but idk how much of that is factual, its (as far as i know) mostly speculation. Like his father did embezzle, cunanan was enrolled in that private school, but the portrayal of his childhood seemed largely speculatory. just.. it was incredibly interesting to investigate what happened when he was growing up that turned him into a, well, monster. like i wish i could Know what went through his head, how his sexuality influenced his becoming a killer, how the situations he experienced turned him into someone who killed without remorse, also i just wonder abt what mental illness(es) he had, i'ver heard anti-social personality disorder, i'd imagine he probably had other disorders which, ofc, dont mean someone will turn out like him which brings me back to circumstances and sexuality, how literally everything he experienced turned him into a killer. This is total ramble and i know it doesnt make any sense, i just find cunanan SO. INTERESTING. bc there's just so much complexity to why he did what he did, and he rly does become someone u almost feel sorry for.

i pulled out my phone to remind her who i was, and much like at one of the first tapings she says, “you don’t need to show me that, i know who you are”
i just couldnt say a god damn word. i just fell into her arms. i held onto her as long as i could so i could re-memorize what that feels like so i can recreate it whenever i need it. i wasnt crying quite yet but i was close and she asked if i was ok omg
i say, to justify why im so emotional, “ITS BEEN SO. LONG.” without me having to say anything else, she looks me in the eye, and says “i love you”
that is all i needed and more. you guys have no idea WELL I MEAN YOU PROBABLY DO CONSIDERING HOW MUCH I POST ABOUT THIS SHIT
i flashed my descendants bracelet real quick and just went back to my seat. buried my face in my hands and started sobbing.
i never thought id cry meeting her more than once, but honestly the numerous cancelled tapings took such a toll on me. i just wanted to see her at least one more time after the last taping. i know d23 is coming but how far that was away was killing me. the fact that i got this even sooner is just.....im on top of the world. guys.
i cried again like 20 min later when i called my mom to tell her about this. GUYS IM NOT USUALLY LIKE THIS. IM NOT USUALLY EMOTIONAL ABOUT HAPPY THINGS. THATS JUST HOW MUCH IM IN LOVE WITH THIS GIRL.
i finally got the thing ive been wanting for months and i am finally content. i couldnt be happier.
oh and on a final note THE VIP GIFT BAGS CAME WITH EXCLUSIVE RDMAS TSUM TSUMS!?!??!?!?!? I DIED A BIT WHEN I OPENED MY BAG
ok thanks for reading see you next year

Riverdale Recap. Ep 10-13.  Murderer Revealed & Build up to Season 2.
Tumblr media
Hi once again to you all following my blog. I just wanna start off by saying I AM BACK and SORRY for the little hiatus but I was on holiday for a few weeks with vert limited internet and so I couldn’t keep up with the Riverdale episodes.  I figured it would be too much trying to catch up all four eps I missed, so now that I am all caught up I’ma roll them all into one monster recap.  Soo enjoy.
Things moved so so so super fast in these last few episodes its actually crazy. I was gasping, ooohing and aaahing through all the eps at every little twist and turn. To make this a little easier I am gonna break this recap up into characters and we’ll catch up with where each of them are at the end of the first season.
Needless to say: SPOILERS AHEAD!
I’ll start with my personal favourite character and leading lady, the one, the only MISS BETTY COOPER! Since the beginning and up till now I am just absolutely ADORING Lili Reinhart in this role. Betty is amazing! I always resonated with her in the comics, and really see myself in her. What I do love in the show is the stronger and darker element that they’re giving to Betty - in the comics she is always so sweet and innocent and ‘waiting around for Archie’ but in the show she is strong, and fierce and doing things for herself which I love. I loved that scene with Betty & Jug in ep13 and the fact that their make-out session is super sexy and intense and gives another nod to the ‘Badass Betty’ that has been hinted at throughout the season. I also enjoyed that Jughead is now a ‘Serpent’ (adore that scene where he puts on the southside jacket) and I have a feeling that these two are going to make a pretty badass power couple leading the Southside in Season 2 (Please!!) .... Also the fact that in e10 FP nods to the fact that Alice had some connection to the Serpents - Betty and her hidden dark side is not too far fetched and I think that it’s perfectly thought out writing (props to the writers!!) that Betty is with Juggie who is now also moving over to the dark side. I know Betty ‘acts’ upset by the fact that Jug puts on the serpent Jacket - but I honestly feel that she’d have NO PROBLEM at all joining him on the Southside.  I have no idea what Season 2 has in store for this pair but I certainly hope we get to explore a bit more of the Serpents through them!  I am also happy to see the Coopers trying to sort their family out, and get the secrets out and Betty’s campaign for honesty instead of just an ‘image of perfection’ in the town of Riverdale.
It was also revealed that Betty and Polly have a brother out there somewhere due to a baby Alice gave up for adoption. (A part of me thinks it might not neccesarily be Hal’s baby - I have a feeling FP and Alice may have had a fling back in the day). So maybe we get to meet him in the next season?
Now onto Jughead Jones.  I’m loving the relationship with Jughead and Betty. Absolutely ship these two and think Cole and Lili’s chemistry is off the charts. I am a little disappointed in Juggies dark side but as  mentioned before, I think this could be a interesting turn of events and it might allow Betty to showcase more of her Badass side - so I’m keen to see where the writers take this. I hope they continue the relationship and explore this dark dimension instead of this being the cause of the relationship to implode. My heart is also aching for Juggie in these last few episodes. I hate the fact that FP is framed, and being mistreated by most of the town. That scene where Jug calls his mom and it basically seems like she tells him not to bother, he’s not wanted there. *tears*. Poor JUG. I hope he finds somewhere he belongs - and from the looks of things that may just be the Southside? As I said - I’m out on a limb here - but I absolutely CANNOT wait to see where they take this in S2.
Archie Andrews is driving me a little CRAZY in these last few episodes. Don’t get me wrong. I LOVE ARCHIE. (KJ Apa is amazing. I’m so impressed by his portrayal of this role.) But - Damn boy, you’re confused as!! I just can’t handle his indecisiveness and his inability to see things through - I mean c’mon he’s been in 3 little flings in the season and I still think Valerie was the best match for him. I am sorry, but I can’t stand Archie and Veronica together. I thought we were staying away from the ‘love triangle’ - I just don’t feel the chemistry between KJ and Camilla (actually just don’t feel Camilla’s character much at all more on that later).  Also the fact that he get’s with Ronnie and then the episodes are clearly hinting that there are some pangs of longing for Betty?? Or did I just imagine that??? It’s like he wants Betty to be upset about him and Ronnie? He wants her to want him? He comes up with an explanation for his reaction, but I’m not feeling it. I love BUGHEAD but somehow still think that Betty and Archie are endgame - so I dunno. Once again we’ll have to see what S2 has in store. Having said that I do love that we get to see more of Archie’s heroism showcased in this episode with him saving Cheryl!! A super intense scene! (More on that in a sec)
Also the end scene has me devastated - FRED WAS SHOT. I am heartbroken by this! Fred is one of the best parents in Riverdale! I also hate the fact that this shooting (as the voice-over says) is ‘anything but random’. I have my ideas about who did it .... Definitely the LODGES. It’s either Hiram because he is jealous of Fred and Hermoine’s relationship, or it’s Hermoine herself (afterall even Hiram said in a letter to Ronnie that she’s not innocent as she seems) because Fred is refusing to sell her the business.
** I also want to mention I loved the song ‘Kids of America’ at the school dance - I just wish it had been Josie or Valerie instead of Veronica with Archie! **
Now, let’s talk about Veronica Lodge. I am so sorry that I feel this way, because I didn’t want to but I just don’t feel the character that Camilla is portraying. Everything feels acted, and feels a little ‘forced’ - I don’t know. I love Camilla, and think she’s gorgeous, but I just don’t think that her character is the character Ronnie from the comics - it just feels like some other random character.  I do feel sorry for Ronnie however and I love the scenes with her & Betty and her & Kevin and even the Pussycats- but I don’t feel the chemistry with Archie and I don’t see them lasting very long. I am really annoyed at Hermoine right now - and I like that Veronica is also pushing back against her mom - Hermoine is such a manipulative b*** .  I am sorry but she is! She’s so fake and changing her whole demeanour now that Hiram is coming home. (On a side note - I can’t wait to meet Hiram Lodge in S2. Some Archie / Hiram rivalry is gonna be an awesome nod to the comics ;) so can’t wait for that!) ... and I strongly feel that she (Hermoine) is somewhat involved in Fred being shot. I don’t know how exactly but indirectly or directly she is root cause of Fred’s shooting!
Now onto the BLOSSOMS. Talk about  a CRAZY, INSANE family. Holy guacomole!! So we finally find out who murdered JASON. With some prompting from Polly, and some discoveries Cheryl starts to doubt her parents because Penelope somehow has possession of Polly’s missing ring (from grandma Blossom) ... Of course Penelope and Clifford have been creepy and psycho from the first episode and I have always kind of wondered about them. Turns out (thanks to a USB found inside Jason’s jacket pocket (although I don’t know how that ended up in his Jacket) it is caught on film that CLIFFORD shot his own son!! He tried to cover it up by killing the only other witness a serpent who Archie got in a fight with. FP only found Jason’s body and put in a freezer and cleaned up with the help of Kev’s boyfriend, Joaquin. Because of this involvement though - Clifford blackmails him into making a false confession - but luckily our sleuthing Riverdale Gang are on the case and quickly prove FP’s innocence - although he is still in trouble for obstructing justice and he wont turn on the serpents.  Straight away Betty warns Cheryl that her dad killed her beloved ‘JayJay’ and Cheryl tells him that he did a bad thing , and every body knows.  Her father then proceeds to hang himself before the police arrive, and it is revealed that the Maple Syrup business is also a cover for drug running. More craziness is revealed in the fact that the Coopers actually are ‘Blossoms’ as ‘Great-Grandpapi-Cooper’ vs Great-Grand-Papi Blossom feud - they were BROTHERS who turned on each other the one decided to break off from the family and become the ‘Coopers’. Thats why they were so anti the Polly/Jason relationship - because they are actually related!
All the turmoil drives Cheryl a little insane and she tries to drown herself in the Sweetwater River to be with Jason. Luckily, the gang are able to save her (Archie (and actually KJ Apa! IRL) breaks his hand in the process) by punching through the ice of the river. Cheryl is still not right and says the only way to get back to normal is by starting clean - so she super dramatically, in true Cheryl Blossom style, burns their house down!!
AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING SEASON.  RIVERDALE - I MISS YOU ALREADY.
I look forward to season two and what more will happen with these characters and what other secrets will be exposed in Season2!

Worst things about the West midlands.
Full of unfriendly, judgemental cunts who think their shit doesn't stink and will try whatever they can to rob you, unfriendliest place in the UK by miles
Avoid places like Ladywood, Shard End, Perry Barr, Lozells, Handsworth. All those areas have been ruined by Labour Party MPs and Birmingham City's Labour Council. Those areas are known to have gangs, high unemployment, welfare dependency, poor schools, housing and health services. Ladywood is an area known for having the highest number fatherless families on welfare. So if you like single mothers with 5+ children, then Ladywood is the place to be.
Too many beggars! I was begged three times by different people each time in multiple places in the city centre! I was even begged in M&S in the train station! Far too many ugly looking flats that accumulate Birmingham's skyline, too many immigrants, tired looking buildings, the accents are quite dreadful, the list goes on...
I've travelled extensively all over Curling Turd Island U.K and once again it just goes to show that you can polish a turd, but in B'Ham only in places!! First impression's when I fell off the train at the labyrinthine maze that is Moor Street Station was how warped everyone looked, especially in and around Pidgeon 'Ole Park. Must of been years of abuse at the hands of vile tasting tap water (filtered from the canal of dead things and chemical waste, no doubt). Tapwater that just makes you fart and shit all day long without no sign of giving up (Aston). Also how unadulteratedly dangerous and awful the pavements and roads are here and how badly planned "Sloppy Second's" is on the whole. A big no no for visitor's/guests. Everything in this binned off, trolleyed country is only in car-distance, as per usual, and OMG what an infested shit'ole - rat's, wasps everywhere, ant's nests, aliens from outer space and Zombie's everywhere!! Progress is so slow in B'ham, is Sloppy Seconds therefore by dinosaurs? The main urban sprawl High Streets are caked with Zombie's walking up and down all day with their hand's out, looking for something (for nothing) -the nanny-stater's have the wrong shit-trousers on all day with only dick-pence to offer anyone. I want to get out!
The accent. Is it even English? I thought Ozzy Osbourne's speech was incomprehensible because it was affected by years of drug abuse...until I moved to Birmingham.
All the lads speak like Benny from Crossroads and the girls are goddam hideous and go out sat night with all their fat on show, fat thighs in mini skirts, love handles bulging over waistlines and massive arses in tight clothing - not a good look. Brums have no class or etiquite
OMG where do I start - driving there is hell, brum accent makes anyone u speak to appear as thick as shit, hardly anyone has a proper job an loads on the dole, very dirty, chavs chavs and more chavs, pigeon shit all over the place, beggars, whores and pimps at every corner. Basically an ugly uninspiring city inhabited by unemployed losers.
what exactly is there about birmingham to make one jealous - this is obviously a joke - go to manchester, edinburgh, london, bristol instead.
Birmingham actually is the Second City. It didn't gain that name through through no reason at all. Don't believe otherwise. Mancs are just jealous that Brum got the name before they did. This is one of the worst things about Birmingham. Or should that be about Manchester? Hrrrm.
Being the victim of homophobic verbal abuse on the train into the station when I'd been enjoying myself previously in the modern and enlightened city that is Manchester. Well done you two prats/bigots - you must feel really clever- I just feel sorry for you.
erdington high street oh what a joy to walk down there on a saturday after the alkies and bag heads have finished with it . it reminds me of the thriller video except a 100 times more paranoid.and the bromford estate ive seen better estates in the third world.cheesy kevs chavy daves and sharons with the standard " ennit " nosestud ,saxo drivers, bmw innit drivers, and them divs who wear coats on hot days with there farahs on and a key chain and greased hair who aint had the ride in years..
it is full of windowlickers
Manchester IS the second city. Brummies and their surrounding counties that use the city need to come out of denial and actually look at the facts. Birmingham is a disgrace: right wing, old fashioned and very very unfriendly.
unfriendly people, with an old school culture all of their own - most of the midlands is like this - with the exception of nottingham
Dreary, dull city in the middle of three old school, old fashioned counties, unfriendly people, junkies, lack of fashion sense and grooming.
Teen Culture ( A unch of Weemo Teeny Boppers dancing to Panic! At the Disco and the fucking Kooks.
sty andrews. a piss poor imitation of legoland
crowds, ignorance
lots an lots of pigeons that wait til ur a few inches away before flyin in ur face lol
public transport
Kings Heath High Street: More nutters per metre then Bedlam on a full moon.
The people - rude, ignorant, arrogant, unfriendly, cocky ... not nice. I hardly speak to them, as I hate the accent as well. Black Country accent IS totally different - better, as we don't have extended vowels that go on forever !!!!!!!!!!
The Brummies - arrogant, ignorant, rude, impatient & think they're better than anyone else 'cause they live in Britain's 2nd city. Erdington - what an area, never realised such bad areas existed. At least I never have to go out with my hair brushed, otherwise they all stare. The homeless people - why so many & where do they go when the change shift at Snow Hill ?
More Area more "chav's" and/or "Gansta's"
homeless, someone please look after them., they need our help
few idiots
Chavscum and 'PUNK' wannabes will always be the worst. Yes, Birmingham is still quite dirty, but most of the dirty dirty bits have been filtered out, unlike Manchester... ughh.
rain!
Birmingham is crap. Traffic congestion means it takes forever to get anywhere, and it's a nightmare getting a taxi home from town. The place has no character, and Brummies moan constantly. Everything here is mainstream, and there is no real alternative culture. The people who like the place are those who haven't lived anywhere else. Believe me, are much better places to be.
I'm amazed at the positive things I read here. Believe me the only people who like Birmingham are those who have never lived anywhere else and consequently don't know any better. It takes forever to get anywhere because of the congestion, and poor public transport, most of it is ugly in the extreme, and everyone moans constantly. Unless you are utterly mainstream, it's just plain dull.
My beautiful DMR hardtail getting stolen - theiving chavs!!!
i have to disagree with kingstanding being one of the nicer areas in birmingham, i should know, i live there
the slowly tightening grip of the cheese extreme that rules the Broad Street night life - lets hope it shoots itself in the foot and peeps start to drift away from the flock in search of fresher, hipper beats!
The modern Christmas tree outside St Martins Church (in the Bull Ring). A traditional tree would have been more appropriate
Plastic Paddy Pubs, Corporate Pubs. Deafening bands with little or no talent and deaf soundmen. The Jam House - load of bollocks prices run by conmen - Jools should be ashamed! Look what they did to Ronnie Scotts!
Being from a place where your accent is constantly being mistaken for the black country accent (its a completly differrent dialect and place, arghhh) and people who think that Manchester is the 2nd city when its bloody well not!!!
too much violence, street robbery, and smackheads.
Kevins and sharons!!!!!
er....Trans?
Dont worry about there being a selfridges in the Bull Ring Centre - there is gonna be a Bear Factory store there - definately a good shop to go to for everyone!
The homeless people on Broad Street
Overcrowding, congestion and too much concrete
Hip Hop, d&b, alternative scene isn't that good - it's all about Broad Street. Homeless people - it seems to me loads of them have better trainers than me and are just plain rude if you don't have any money to give them!
New Street Station and the Palasades.
birmingham lives in the shadow of london too much, but shouldn't! it may be our second city in size but difinetly not in heart!!!
The problem is someones bound to get shot up at the bloody ice rink my brother nearly did.
there seems to be a good amount of style-conscious people in birmingham but having said that, there are (young) people who expect to be taken seriously whilst wearing their adidas poppers tucked into their nike socks and sporting flourescent orange trainers. (all i have to say about them is 'no'. no no no no no no no.) despite the fact that theres a lot of inter-racial and inter-faith tolerance and acceptance in birmingham, there is some amount of discrimination, although not just racism - but the culprits are the ones who wear their tracksuit trousers tucked into their socks, so you've got to ask yourself whether or not they can help themselves, really......
the victorian terraces, burberry cap sporting fools, woodsurfing wankers, goths and freaks( their parents hate them and they blame everyone else), the oasis market, plankriders, skateboarders, jitters, er anythin else to call this fraternity?? oh yeah, tossers. i think thats it. and that man (you know who you are, lakvir of halesowen college) who cracked one off on the number 9 bus in broad daylight, then unloaded in his bag. dirty bastard.
THE WANABES FROM SOLIHULL THINKIN THERE GOOD WEN THERE NOT! AND LOOKIN AT THE REAL SKATERS LIKE THERE NOTHIN WEN WE REALLY ARE.
pigs
The rubbish that constantly litters the streets, other places
Birmingham is the worst City you can ever dream of living in. I was born in Birmingham and have spent years trying to shake of the misery of Brummiedom. Fights, lads, slappers, concrete, abuse, sexism, racism - need I go on?
Far too many aggressive beggars who are blatantly not homeless and are all mashed off their tits and out looking for cash for their next bag of smack, dodgy geezers in hoods hanging around at night, The Rotunda - it's just goddamn ugly, Travel West Midlands... "bus every 6 minutes" (or more like, "4 buses within 3 minutes, once an hour") - totally unreliable and totally bollocks, too many identically-clothed (Rockport & Kickers) Shazza and Kev gangs (fuck off you no-hopers), the city centre is always being dug up for some unknown reason, people smoking on buses (despite the large "500 fine" signs, which TWM never enforce), high likelihood of robbery at night in some areas (be very careful and always stay aware of who is around you!)
too many OSP's telling you to be quiet!
bham's known for pocket pickin and druggies and rcism but realy if you keep youre self to youre self its not realy that bad!
where do i start. Theres no country side, everywhere u look u see tarmac and metal. The people are ignorant and no one ever says thanku 2 the bus driver, which really annoys me. Sutton area is full of psychos and people openingly smoke weed on the bus - which then makes the driver get high.Need i say more.
Beggars. If you're shopping, watch your handbags (girls) and wallets (guys).
Kevs and shazzas (townies), crap local radio, kevs, busses are always late, shazzas, broad street (if u like alt music) did i mention the kevs?
it's a big grey concrete mess not pretty, the high street shops like o neill and virgin are expensive
Our terrible spelling.
Birmingham is very dirty, especially Bordesley Green, where I work. Think before you drop litter!
modernisation redevelopment of city not complete till at least 2006 utter chaos street closures etc.
Nothing, birmingham's brilliant, OK maybe too many cars
Kevs! Pack them all up and send them back to Slutton Coldfield where they spawned from. In fact, the whole of Slutton seems like a giant conspiracy at times to undermine Birmingham's healthy anti-Kev attitude. Incidentally, anyone from down around Hodge Hill and Ward End keep your eye on Star City...the Kev Migration seems to be moving in that direction... Anti-Sk8ing-Coppers who confisk8 your board!!!
the chewing gum on the pavement. Street beggars wearing brand new nikes! (???)
it's a pig ugly place
Its lack of individuality sometimes annoys me. Broad Street could be great, but its been bitten by the Chain Pub & Restaurant Bug. I want unique places!! Manchester and London do it - why not Brum!
Traffic jams on the M6!!! They put LA to shame.
Aston V#@!!!! Apologies to all who have the misfortune to visit the collection of sheds called V#@ Park, if the council was full of bluenoses the place would be turned into housing.
The annoying Ben Sherman/Hackett/Rockport shirted scum yes you!
Pubs stop serving at 22:50 at the weekend??? But that is England all over The crappy public transport system
The TERRIBLE, DISGUSTING, and downright FRIGHTENING mess of roads and subways and dereliction that is the Bull Ring. The area around the Arcadian, with the gay village and Chinatown, is great but the roads and subways and ramps in between that area and the city square are horrible. Really scary. No thought to pedestrians at all.
People are a bit too "uptight" and need to lighten up, lay back , an' feel them warm rays of heaven on them pasty faces. Maybe have a little glass o' somethin' an' smile a little.,....yooo know whut aah mean!!!!
People who have this Solihull mentality whereby they they keep diassociating Handsworth from Handsworth Wood - both together (I've lived in both) are far more scenic/exciting/historically valuable than some other areas of the city I won't embarrass by naming!! If you're still not convinced, try this - THERE'S NO MORNING RUSH HOUR!!! (We Northsiders spend far less of our ives sitting in our cars / on buses)
The street cleaner at the library. Looks like an elf. Calls you a cunt when you don't do a single thing. Deliberately trashes your bag by pouring water over it. Also very paranoid, he believes that there is a camera hidden in a security light (there is definitely not)
TWM, total rip off of a bus company.
Perry Barr. Its bad. Its worse than bad. Its fucking awful.
Sutton snobs and the University district - well run down.
architecture. neglect of some areas (Digbeth in town has mucho potential town planners). having to listen to prats from completely inferior towns whitter on about crappy brum, when they haven't been there, or never explored when they were.
The buses, operated by Travel West Midlands, which are cack. They don't give change which is as primitive in the sphere of public transport as it is possible to get, and a constant source of annoyance.
Living, or hanging out anywhere near Bournville - the place has no pubs at all due to it being built by the Quaker family that owned Cadburys.
The subways and underpasses. Some are very frightening to walk through alone. Thankfully Birmingham is being 'redesigned' at the moment and it is improving by the day.
The nightlife. It's a bit dead really.
The worst thing? Most of the suburbs. Whilst the City has spent a lot of money and effort into redesigning the Centre for the post-industrial age, most routes out of the city are scattered with dilapidated ex-factories and buildings; some of the residential areas (such as Handsworth or Handsworth Wood) are frightening to be in at night.
Moronic southerners who think Birmingham's a northern shitehole somewhere near Manchester. Wrong - it's a midlands semi-paradise with trees somewhere near Stratford.
Villa fans.
Wost thing about Brum: some of the office blocks are SO gross. Bring 'em down. Good news is that next year the Bull Ring will be bulldozed and replaced by a 300 million development which will boast the only branch of Selfridges outside London. The accent is a pain in the arse, and makes even the most intelligent person sound as thick as shit.
Brum hasn't had a medium sized music venue since the Hummingbird closed down 5 years ago, forcing bands to play in Wolverhampton or Leicester. This seriously hampers local talent (no, not bloody Ocean Colour Scene)and Brum is crying out for a "scene" of some description PLEASE!! The suburbs need some urgent cosmetic attention too and local transport could do with an overhaul s!
Traffic Wardens
The young fisher lads obsession with their fast cars is brain numbing. A quality night out for them consists of driving your fast car round and round the town centre, climaxing in pulling in next to some other young things in their cars in the Balmoor Cemetery carpark. And you can bet they're not there to place flowers on poor old Granny's grave.
Accent, traffic, no one knowing where B'ham is.
Can be a bit scary at night, especially for people from out of town.
lycra clad no hopers
Man U Fans, Blues Fans.
Seriously deranged people appearing on a regular basis, care in the community in action in Birmingham obviously.
The accent.

“Producer’s Paradise”
Interview with Producer Phyzikal
Hey man what's your name and Where you from?
What’s up! My Name is Shaun, but I go by the stage-name Phyzikal- I’m originally from the South Suburbs of Chicago, a town called Matteson. Been living there since 2000.
Thats awesome! So how long have you been producing? What's the first moment you said "I want to start producing seriously”?
I’ve been producing music for exactly 2 years come this new year, but I’ve been playing the piano since 4 years old, and the violin since 12.  Happy 2017 by the way. I count 2-year length of time based on the time I first got into using Logic Pro X for sequencing beats. I mean, I used to mess around with my dad’s Fantom G6 keyboard in high school, but I never did much with that. Made a few rickety beats with its internal sequencing and MIDI software, but I was young then, and it was just to mess around. Never thought it was going to get this serious around now.
This all started when a college friend of mine, Colin, saw I was DJing on campus at Grinnell College, where I’m currently finishing my degree. I always knew that the next step after becoming a DJ was eventually producing your own music. I just didn’t have the means or know where to really start. After he saw I was interested in starting production, he ended up giving me a crack of Logic Pro that he had literally laying around on Dropbox somewhere. I started to tinker around with it. Looked at a ton of tutorials, messed up, had small victories within the software, messed up 10x more— you get the picture. it’s a process. To be honest, I never really thought I wanted to take this to the next level until my Dad, (and my other friends, of course) started to tell me I actually had serious talent in this. You see, my Father’s a professional music producer, songwriter, and composer himself. He’s been making beats around me before I even knew what the hell production WAS, let alone how it worked. I grew up with him blasting his music in his home studio constantly. Always working with new people. He has worked with artists such as Jeffery Osbourne, Chaka Khan, R. Kelly, Earth, Wind, and Fire, and many many more- hell, Prince even knew of his work, and he damn near had a hit he wrote on Michael Jackson’s album. So as i got deeper into production, and my friends and father told me I actually was “pretty good,” I started to believe I actually, maybe have a shot at this… So basically you found something you were just naturally talented at and loved! That’s not something a lot of people can say. So, you have a trap/ambient style vibe to a lot of your beats. What are some of your inspirations for your production?
Inspirations run us, man- whether we admit it or not- There’s always that one person who you look up to so much that you eventually want to take a crack at whatever it is yourself. A few of my inspirations production wise are of course my father, Ronny J of C9, Erick Arc Elliot of Flatbush Zombies, FKi, Dr. Dre, MF Doom, Nick León, Powers Pleasant, Doc Mckinney, Mike Dean, WondaGurl, Murda Beatz,-- The list could go on and on man. I agree wholeheartedly, man! Who are some rappers you would love to hear on your production?
Ski Mask the Slump God, Danny Towers, XXXtentacion, Lil Yachty, Lil Uzi Vert, Maxo Kream, The Underachievers, Denzel Curry, maybe even bigger names one day like Young Thug and The Weeknd… Don’t wanna limit myself cause you just never know. I honestly think, with your talent, that having those artists on your instrumentals is not far fetched at all! Do you have a project/singles/collaborations in the works?
Yes- I’m currently drawing out the plans for About:Blank 2, my Collective, SẎNdicate’s mixtape series. You can catch the first About:Blank on my Soundcloud and Youtube right here:
https://soundcloud.com/phyz-got-this-one/sets/about-blank
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4d8hi20LTqA&authuser=1 In 2017 We definitely plan to put some of our funds toward features from artists we love, can’t reveal any of those names, though. I’m also working on a solo tape that could drop at any time. Can’t reveal that name either. You’ll have to scour my instagram to find the title, it’s hidden in one of the captions in plain sight. Look forward to other SẎNdicate members dropping solo stuff as well.
Super dope! I love the mixtape! So whats your favorite beat you've ever made?
Can you have a favorite child? I Didn’t think so ;) but right now, this is my favorite beat simply because of all of the attention it’s getting… https://soundcloud.com/jedijamiel/jedi-jamiel-built-4-tha-flex
I’m working with this North Carolina artist by the name of Jedi Jamiel. This shit got a combined 16k plays if you count both of our soundcloud plays… I’m sort of in shock with how well it’s doing and continues to do. Never had a beat of mine reach this many individuals before..
Top 3 producers of all time in your opinion?!    Top 3 Producers of all Time? Timbaland, Kanye West, and Noah “40” Shebib IMO.
Great list!  Any last shout outs?
Shout out FEA Collective, Jedi Jamiel, SINergy and all my other SẎNdicate brothers- and finally, shout out to the Beast Coast Facebook group, too. Tons of my original supporters come from that group.
Thanks for your time man!
Thanks for taking the time to interview me, man!

How Did The Republicans Take Control Of Congress
Tumblr media

Sanders Says He Wont Let Centrists Shrink $3.5T Bill: I Already Negotiated
