Hello o/ i just finished midterm im finally free orz.How are you doing?
I want to asked what do you think about Fukuchi?like his relationship or morality anything in general.Hes such an interesting character i wish ppl talk about him more.
hello! i’m pretty good! finished a read through bsd beast today (fantastic novel btw) and will work on some writing tonight i think!
i hope your midterm went well!! feel free to tell me about it if you’d like :) i’m interested
and ty for asking about fukuchi! i have lots to say about him.
fukuchi - my opinion
first off i will preface this by saying i USED to be a fukuchi hater. he used to really piss me off but looking back it was 100% biased towards the characters he hurt and i didn’t think too much of his motives. i actually really like him now and believe he’s very underrated.
for starters, i LOVE his design. the face scars especially really tie everything together. i also like his silly moustache hehe
his role as a hunting dog was really great and i hope we see more of that—some sort of pre-DoA scenes where we see the hunting dogs work together so i can look into their dynamics more. it seems that he genuinely was a good leader and cared for his squad. he was fun and lighthearted and seemed to be kind to his subordinates.
i really hope we get some sort of scenes where we see him interacting with the other members of the DoA, flashback scenes or something. we only really seen him interact with bram. i feel he would have gotten along well with sigma, since neither of them are bad people. in contrast i want to see him interact with fyodor and nikolai for the very opposite purpose.
i somewhat sympathized with fukuchi when he was fighting atsushi and akutagawa, his view on war clearly messed him up a ton and he just appeared to have a bad approach to solving what was right. i regret to admit i think i let a lot of the general perception of fukuchi hinder my opinion on him here. i understood his motives to a degree but couldn’t like him for that (which has since changed).
i wholeheartedly believe fukuchi is a good person. he is severely traumatized from all the war he had to deal with, which altered his perception on a good approach to solving things.
assuming he is around 45 years old, he would have received the warning of the war at the age of 9. imagine being a small child and realizing you have to save millions from dying? yet throughout it all he kept a great composure and was kind to others. the scenes where he was with fukuzawa as a child showed he was a good kid despite the huge task he would need to complete. this displays immense courage.
now more onto the DoA era.
notice how he turned everyone into vampires instead of just killing them? partially this was likely to build an army, however i assume part of it was to keep people from dying. he doesn’t want any more bloodshed and did what was necessary. he never told anyone about this though, there’s a good chance bram would have been more willing to help had he been open about the plan. maybe?
the way he treated bram wasn’t great though. it would have been cool to see him talk to bram about it and they work together. of course bram didn’t really seem to care too much about humanity before meeting aya, so he may have not agreed.
fukuchi was also incredibly smart for trusting fukuzawa to do what was right. it really shows their bond and how they knew each other. i’d love to look into their dynamics more, especially the scene where fukuchi tries to convince fukuzawa to go to war since there was a ton of symbolism there.
fukuchi and jouno’s bond also intrigues me. we know he invited jouno to the hunting dogs with the goal of him joining the DoA yet jouno was too influenced by good to be able to do it. i wonder if fukuchi would have told jouno the truth in the case that he agreed to join? or did he assume jouno was willing to be a ruthless killer? id like to think that fukuchi believed jouno had the morality to keep the agency safe despite being supposed to act evil; since fukuchi didn’t actually want them dead. ill make a longer analysis about this idea soon actually since it has the little gears in my head turning.
his relationship with tachihara is also interesting to me. i haven’t thought too much into it, but i believe fukuchi said something along of being disappointed in tachihara’s "betrayal". it makes me wonder if maybe he had hoped tachihara’s morality had changed in the mafia so he would never need to face him in battle? i’ll have to reread the chapters and look into this more.
his relationship with teruko also is one that makes me quite sad. she looked heartbroken as she had to kill him. she was also the only one he told other than fukuzawa about his real plan (as far as im aware). they were definitely close.
in the end, fukuchi’s reveal of the truth and everything he had been dealing with for so long made his actions make a ton of sense. he was just a person with a huge responsibility who tried to save things as well as he could. i really wish he could have gotten closure on the world he saved (if he is truly dead). he’s a fantastic character and has a ton of depth. i only scratched the surface here. maybe i will need to make an "in defence of fukuchi" essay at some point.

Low key the hunting dogs are so much further detached from humanity than I think we give them credit for.
Aside from the obvious dehumanizing of themselves to characters like Sigma or Kunikida, they also just treat their bodies like objects.
Teruko punctures her own eardrums without hesitation to protect her brain.
Jouno’s first thought when being lit on fire is using his blood to cool the flames.
Tecchou says that even if they knock him down from the helicopter, he’ll just use his sword to get right back up, not even mentioning the pain.
Tachihara stabs himself with his own ability to keep his cover. When the coin bomb explodes in his hand, he’s only mildly upset that it could’ve “messed him up”, before going back to what he was doing.
Fukuchi was willing to be the centerpiece of his plot for world peace, and intentionally took the blame. It’s no mistake that his plan included his death.
Beyond all that, Teruko describes them as slaves to society. Tachihara (and I think Fukuchi also does this) refers to them as the fangs of the government.
One of the translations of Fukuchi’s speech to Fukuzawa while he’s being interrogated is that the Hunting Dogs won’t rest until they catch their prey because that’s how they were designed.
Idk just something abt the silly dog soldiers and their own humanity. Not questioning it, that’s not their place. They already know that they’re weapons.

What kind of interaction would the reader have with the hunting dogs? (Mainly teruko, tecchou, and jouno) how would they treat the reader?
Btw I love your posts so much and you can probably tell because I reblog all your posts with a heart emoji.
I adore the hunting dogs and the thought of them being self aware is very cool.
💕🩷💗💝💖💓💞
Thank you for your kind words. I am glad, that you really like my ideas 🥰
Hunting Dogs will get full entries later. But, for now, I can share some Ideas with you.
Self-Aware! Hunting Dogs x GN!Reader
Headcannons
Warning: OOC. Yandere. Stalking. Mentions of harming other people. English is my second language.
General
🐾 Hunting Dogs never thought they were fictional characters.
🐾 And Hunting Dogs never thought, that after the moment they arrived at the scene to pursue after ADA, there would be not only all ADA members, but also Port Mafia, The Guild and some other people.
🐾 Fukichi also wasn't expecting, that Chief Taneda will be okay and will claps his hand with "Alright, the last horses have arrived. To the Office. Or, maybe, you should take a walk through the important for the next scene locations?"
Michizou Tachihara
Tumblr media
🩹 🧲 Became Self-aware earlier, than other Hunting Dogs. Has been known about you ever since Fukuzawa and Mori decide to create an ADA/Port Mafia union.
🩹🧲 Despite only hearing some of your words and not hearing full sentences from you, can see Little Light floating above them.
🩹🧲 During the "chase" after ADA, give his colleagues a briefing. About you, about union, about plot, about Little Light.
🩹🧲 Will try his best to make other Hunting Dogs like you.
🩹🧲 Cares about you. Want others Hunting Dogs to protect you together with him.
🩹🧲 Want to become one of your bodyguards. Or helper, because he is sure, that his ability will come in handy.
Saigiku Jouno
Tumblr media
💧 Can feel the Little Light's presence after the first moment he woke up.
💧 His senses are sharper, than everyone's. Can hear you clearly from the first moment. He can hear your heartbeat.
💧 Immediately knew that you aren't tricking them, and your emotions are real.
💧 After hearing, what you think about his past and new way of live, will become your guardian. Very protective.
💧 Will be listening, when you're talking with someone. He's making sure, that you are bot been tricked. Have a hit list of whom he will punish for wronging you.
💧 Likes listening to your playlist. Also likes audiobooks.
__________
Jouno was listening. You, Little Guiding Light, were talking to your 'friend'... You consider this person your friend. But Jouno knew, that he is lying to you. He doesn't care about you.
But don't worry. Soon... very soon, they will be in your world.
He will protect you. And all this people, who wronged you... Well, he will show them, what it means to be a Hunting Dog.
____________
Tecchou Suehiro
Tumblr media
🌸 Tecchou is more hesitant into trusting you. He believes in Tachihara's and Jouno's words. But, he still will be on his guard, until he is 100% sure you are good.
🌸 It won't take long for him to trust you. Many people trust you already. Besides, he will also listen to your conversations with your friends and other people. Will look at your messages.
🌸 Want to carry you on his shoulders. Just because he can.
🌸 Another protective one. But, unlike Jouno, will use his words in dealing with people who wronged you. And will blackmail them.
🌸 Likes to watch documentaries with you. Because of that, he became buddies with Kenji.
🌸 Training every day. To make sure, that he will be one of the best of your bodyguards. For him, every bad things people do to you, are the worst crime. And he will bring you justice.
_____________
Tecchou was observing. He was looking at the messages, your friend left you. This person, once again, were passive-aggressive towards you.
Well, another one to put on back on their place.
Injustice must be punished. You must be protected.

Teruko Okura
Tumblr media
👶🧒🧓 While she is incredibly loyal to Fukuchi, she has her own free will. Will be a little bit taken aback by Fukuchi's dislike towards you. You are a simple civilian, right? Shouldn't Hunting Dogs protect civilians or, at least, be neutral towards them.
👶🧒🧓 It will take her some time, but, at the end, she will like you. It's hard not to like someone, who in fond of you.
👶🧒🧓 Another one, who is keeping an eye on you. She and Jouno will be the worst duo for your enemies. They will have to deal with two overprotective sadists.
👶🧒🧓 If you are willing, will help you with training. But not too much. Because she thinks, she would love to be your bodyguard.
👶🧒🧓 Likes watching sport competitions, either with you, or by herself. Try to learn more about how strong people in real world.
👶🧒🧓 She is a warrior. A ruthless one. She would do anything she can to protect you.
____________
Teruko's eyes glimmed with dangerous light.
She heard you been upset by a scammer, who didn't want to give you your money back for the damaged figurine.
Well, she wonders, it would be interesting to see, how this person will feel, when he will become a child again.
She is a solder. And she will do anything to protect you.
__________
Fukuchi Ouchi
Tumblr media
⚔️ Let's just say, unknowingly, you have challenge Fukuchi's authority. And you won. Also, you have destroyed his plan.
⚔️ What is the point of his plan, if there are no people out there? One Order doesn't exist, others characters are broke from the chains of plot and have a way to read manga with you. Oh, and other DOA members likes you and don't want to harm you.
⚔️ Moreover, he has nowhere to go. Everything is empty. So, he has no other way, but to stay with others. Doesn't hide his dislike towards you. Oh, great, Hunting Dogs now also don't want to listen to him.
⚔️ Will change his attitude towards you, after hearing your talking for a few times. Also, by finding more information about your world. He won't be against staying in your world. So he and other Hunting Dogs will protect you.
⚔️ Now, he just had to prove others, that he can be trusted. He doesn't want to hurt you. He, as all of them, want only the best for you.
⚔️ At the end, all Hunting Dogs will become your elite bodyguards.

Potential Ango backstory. Because I like to make connections that don't exist.
I received a tag under my last post about Ango...
Tumblr media
I have been enabled.
What I said in that last post was that due to the disconnect between Ango's values and the values of the Special Division - in particular, their views on necessary sacrifice and the greater good - I found it odd for this to be Ango's career choice. So, I have this theory... it's really more headcanon than anything but basically, I wonder if Ango didn't choose to work there, but rather had no choice.
Tumblr media
First off, Ango being a government agent before he joined the Mafia means that he was already one under the age of 19... which is. Well, far from uncommon in the BSD universe but... does the government itself really not have age restrictions on potential members? Ango would've been younger than 19 when he started working for the Special Division. He was 22 ish in Dark Era, first met Oda and Dazai two years earlier, and joined the Mafia one year before that. I know we like to joke that the preferred hiring age in BSD is like... 14-15, but for the Mafia, this makes sense - there's no hiring age there; most of them are or were kids with nowhere else to go. Fukuzawa hires minors who typically also have nowhere to go. Ango was really young when he joined the Special Division. Since they would, at least, have to follow some laws (I believe anyways), the circumstances of Ango's joining were probably not the usual.
Here's another weird bit: the government sent a 19 year old spy to infiltrate the Mafia, one who was too low-ranked to have any say in decisions (he had no say in their sending in of Shibusawa, for instance). That's... weird, on it's own. He had no influence but they felt certain the man wouldn't betray them or get caught? That's a lot of faith to place in him. Now, granted, he's a very reliable person and his ability is absolutely the reason he was selected - but it's still strange.
You might be thinking, okay, but what about his replacement? Tachihara was sent in after Ango so the government could keep monitoring the mafia's activities, and he was a young, new recruit. Yes, that's true but see, here's the thing: Tachihara's nature as a Hunting Dog means the government has a guaranteed hold on him - Teruko mentions that the Hunting Dogs need to undergo monthly surgeries to maintain their bodies after their enhancements. I see no reason Tachihara wouldn't have had to do the same. So, in my mind, that goes to show that they needed some kind of hold on Ango too, right? Wouldn't you want some kind of insurance on someone so presumably new?
I'm going to cut away from this for a moment so I can point out a passage from Dark Era where Oda finds how Ango (allegedly) joined the Mafia:
Tumblr media
The gist of it was: Ango was a hacker -> he helped a gang steal money -> the money was stolen from a Mafia front company -> Ango was on the run for several months before the Mafia caught him -> Ango's manipulation of the trackers' information was so impressive to Mori that he invited Ango to join the Mafia
Obviously, this is a cover story. But at the surface it kind of has to be true, otherwise the Mafia would know. So, it was set up for Ango to help steal that money by the government. Why this particular story though? Well, they say the best lies are often rooted in truth. Before he joined the Division, I suggest that Ango really was a hacker and seller of information. (Just fyi, his real life author inspiration was a bit of a delinquent so... make of that what you will.)
Now this next part is a mess because we still don't know how all the pieces fit together.
Remember that the Special Division, and by extension the government, are considered so incredibly powerful that they could destroy the Mafia. From Dark Era:
Tumblr media
That legal document appears to be the only thing that keeps ability users reasonably safe. Atsushi was being tracked as the "rampaging tiger" and had nowhere else to go. What about people like Yosano or Chuuya, associated with military research? Even Kenji - he was hired after he moved a mountain out of grief. It appears that the permit is a necessary protection to those ability users who reveal they are ability users publicly.
In Gaiden, Tsujimura explains that the Division also continuously monitors the activities of ability users. Essentially, in addition to the legal protection the permits provide, they also seem to make the Division's job of keeping track of all ability users, what they're using their abilities for, and how dangerous the abilities are, much easier. We also know that if an ability user proves too great of a threat to the general public, the Special Division can and will eliminate targets unless the target proves especially useful (ex. Ayatsuji).
Ok why am I going over all this? I'm just trying to make it clear how incredibly powerful the Division is. But what I also want to denote is that they are focused primarily on the greater good and will justify sacrifice of individuals (which contradicts Ango's beliefs directly), and they also take orders still from higher ups in the government (and the government in bsd is... a bit shifty if you ask me).
And about Ango: his values lie in life and an appreciation for it. He prioritizes memory and records, especially of those who have passed. He has many regrets and is, at heart, a kind person. However, he also has the capacity to do what "needs to be done", seems particularly vengeful and angry with Sigma for Taneda's stabbing, and was ready to shoot Atsushi when he collapsed after the Sky Casino arc. He also went from making deliberate stubborn efforts to create records of the dead, to being part of the cover up for a group of disgraced soldiers and one of his closest friends. He does things because he thinks no one else can do them - so this means it is his obligation.
So, finally, here's my deranged conspiracy: I think Ango was a hacker in his teenage years, and I think he always had the intention of preserving life in some way. Perhaps he attempted to make information about the war, or something to do with ability users, public. Whatever he found, he got in serious trouble, whether with a criminal organization, or with the government itself, I'm not clear on. Ango needed to join the Division for protection, and perhaps it was Taneda's idea to invite him, seeing that his ability would be very useful - that would explain the loyalty. It's also possible that Ango's actions resulted in a loss of life, and so he no longer trusts himself, which is why he is constantly torn between opposing values. I wonder if it was explained to Ango by the people in charge why certain information had to be withheld from the public, in such a way that he felt guilty for what he'd done - maybe that's why he's so diligent. It would be tragic if guilt turned out to have always been the motivator for his character and if he stands with the Division despite his offset values because he really does think they know how to better help people than his instinctive response ever could. While I'm sure the Division was confident in Ango's loyalty (one of his dislikes is written as betrayal for goodness sake), they also had a hold on him due to the nature of his ability. He is a walking store of classified information, which we are told repeatedly in Dark Era makes him a prime target. This means that nowhere is safe for him unless he stays with the Division. There is no guarantee that the government itself wouldn't also consider him a liability if he were to suddenly quit. In summary, Ango's joining of the Division was not a free choice, and while he likely feels grateful to people like Taneda for that chance - he also cannot leave.
Regardless of whether or not you all think I am wholly deranged now, there is definitely something to Ango we're not privy to yet. Here's some extra stuff on Ango to chew on:
He had the experience once of taking in so much information he passed out while his brain tried to process it (much like Atsushi did after Sigma transfers the information to him about the Page)
He had some run-in with Chuuya which apparently led to Chuuya owing him for something?
He seems to have been more comfortable defying expectations in the Mafia than he ever was in the Division
Thus concludes my Ango theory.
Source? Just trust me bro.

We'd fire no gun, shed no tear
post-vampirism hd
“So… I’m the last one to know it all.” Tetchô asked, in a monotone voice which still had some sprinkles of defeat to it. He was the only one who had been fully kept in the dark by their captain and it stung, even when it didn’t take a genius to know Jôno and Teruko hadn’t had it exactly better.
“I mean, it’s not like he told me the whole truth either.” Jôno added, sighing. “And my role in the whole thing would’ve been becoming a criminal again, even if for a greater cause.”
“And I’d trade ignorance, even the half-assed explanation, over the part I had to play in a heartbeat. Dunno what to tell you.” Tetchô couldn’t call his previous ignorance as a blessing, but Teruko’s words were quick on making clear how knowledge had indeed been a curse. After all, she had been tasked with killing the captain… in the case of Fukuzawa Yukichi not being able to. Plan to try and ensure world peace or not, it sucked. “Being the one he confided in the most, it’s kinda bullshit, when he could easily spare him and not me from the pain of doing what was deemed as necessary.” Teruko gritted her teeth. “That whole thing better work out, because if not…”
The sentence ended there, and silence fell for a while right after. Instead of an official meeting, that conversation was taking place with the three of them sitting on a couch, during a restless night that had brought them there as if it had been rehearsed.
And after a little more time, they all scooted closer to each other.
“Isn’t it shitty, how he’s gone and we can’t tell him all of this.” Jôno then said, in almost a whisper. Tetchô couldn’t help but nod, and a brief ‘hmm’ also came from Teruko.
“We get to be mad and sad but not to confront him about it.” Teruko let out a deep sigh. “The captain’s dead, I’d bet anything on how Tachihara’s officially leaving and… guess whatever’s in store next it’s up to the three of us. So we’d better get some sleep, boys.”
None seemed to be exactly eager to get up, so Tetchô opted for doing the next best thing; reaching out without moving much, he grabbed the gigantic blanket they used in movie nights and carefully draped all of them with it.
(Also on ao3.)

so i absolutely loved the final episode of this season-
I'm glad Dazai pulled this off and i loved the scenes with Fyodor and Gogol and also with Fukuchi and Fukuzawa.
like-
Tumblr media Tumblr media
-I'm planning to cry over these two for quite a while. I can talk on and on about them- like how Fukuzawa couldn't bring himself to kill his friend... how it was Teruko who had to do it... her reaction... all those conversations in the Poe's book... and Nikolai second guessing his wish of killing Fyodor... his reaction... -but i have so many questions.
Tumblr media
(1) HOW DID BONES MANAGED TO RUIN THIS? THIS!!! the most homoerotic vampire biting- tbh that requires a level of skills and ofc HATE FOR AKUTAGAWA bones stop being an akutagawa hater challenge : failed
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(2) soooooo about Sigma... well... though i don't necessarily believe he just died like that- tf just happened... no explanations whatsoever... like are we gonna see him again? probably. but he is gonna suffer isn't he?
(3) i haven't seen anyone talking bout this yet and I'm not a religious person at all but- apparently those lines are what jesus had said while on the cross. and it was apparent these religious themes with Fyodor. and I'm not the one to theorize anything but- is this really how Fyodor dies? without any development to his character and story- without any actual knowledge about him- if yes... what a waste. truly. it would be the one thing that would disappoint me really. hence I'm believing we might actually see him again. and also excuse me but how the fuck Fyodor actually bought Chuuya's acting¿¿ (love the silliness tho) also who is that man Fyodor mentioned?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(4) idk why but these shots were hilarious to me. like bffr for a sec- they just dropped them out of nowhere at the end. like yes sure Kenji and Tetchou were taking a nap and now awake but... Kyouka materialized out of nowhere. where were they all the time? but more importantly- where is Mori??? where is Tachihara??? Jouno??? Yosano??? like Tachihara , Jouno , Gin and Hirotsu are probably safe and human again. but plz drop some informations bout Mori , Kouyou and YOSANO!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(5) andddd we back. I'm pretty sure this gonna explain itself real easily when the time comes but- is that Fukuchi? are we gonna have another dead apple situation?? is that why Akutagawa decided to dress up??? like what are you wearing dear boy- since when bsd was a scifi/fantasy video game. you do you though. but maybe we can afford some new clothes for Atsushi as well-
Tumblr media
(6) and the most important question of the night- HOW IS HE SO BEAUTIFUL????

My thoughts on Bsd Chapter 113
Spoilers.
Obviously.
Okay guys we get it Sigma is alive, everyone chill.
I didn't think Sigma was dead, but good to have confirmation regardless.
The true duality of Double Black is that they can take down the most vindictive and smart villians.
And also share one braincell between them.
You'd think the first one or two times Chuuya dropped Sigma he'd think maybe this isn't gonna work.
And of course he dropped him 15 times.
I kinda wish it was 16 purely because Chuuya is wearing the same outfit he had on during the Dragons head incident (which was 6 years ago, when he was 16.)
But this is still funny.
... Hold on I just realised Dazai doesn't know Sigma has an ability.
Otherwise he'd probably know what happened to him, given how similar it works to Ango's.
Chuuya stop saying Fyodor is dead, you've said it twice now and the more you do the less I believe you.
Ohhh hell yeah I love the effect of all the memories looking like pages.
Starting from the bottom of the pile seems like a good idea but man how long is Sigma gonna be out for?
Oh back to this shit... Listen I don't care for Fukuchi but I do love Fukuzawa.
The fact Fukuchi admits there were other ways but this was his decision.... He could've spared Fukuzawa all this pain but chose not too.
Man fuck this guy.
Also the condition that 500 lives could achieve world peace, hated that.
The coin bombs didn't threaten lives he says like it didn't almost kill Tachihara.
Of course it was Fyodor's plan, only he'd come up with such nonsense.
At least we know why Fyodor was in Mersault now.
Back to Sigma.... Why is there a castle?
... Please tell me that's not Fyodor...
IS THAT BRAM?!
... What the fuck am I witnessing?
And not just Bram, Count Bram who's body isn't impaled by the sword.
And it is Fyodor, how old are you?! Love the robe but what?!
Oh and right back to this... I said it before and I'll say it again fuck Fukuchi man.
Having Fukuzawa choose between his life or the Agencies, become the thing he never wanted to be or save his family.
I do wonder if that choice is basically the mystery to get out the book, because this is shill Poe's book.
Or if that was just finding out the mystery of the past, who knows.
God and Fukuchi not needing to give any last words because he has no regrets. Because his best friend is going to kill him and it's everything he wants
Fukuchi wins and it costs Fukuzawa everything.
I do love that Fyodor retains his love for getting captured on purpose.
And flirting with Count Bram apparently, I can already see the fics.
Man when even the Vampire King calls you evil incarnate.
Is Fyodor trying to be a seer? What is this premonition? Or is he just fucking around.
Oh shit yeah reminder that Bram is from Ireland, so that's why the Romans be such an issue rn.
... Jeez how far in the past is this?
Also, is it just me or does Fyodor have a scar on his face he doesn't have in the present?
Yeah Bram I don't think that's gonna kill him.
Oh and Fukuzawa aiming him cut down Fukuchi in the same place he sliced Akutugawa.
AWW AND HE CAN'T DO IT.
My heart, I'm so glad Fukuchi didn't get mad at him for it or I would've flipped the table.
You're really asking a lot.. Like way to much.
Which is when Teruko shows up.
Awh Teruko... And putting the sword in Fukuzawa's hands so he takes the fall as she cries.
I can't...
Fuck man...look at him. His face, his eyes Fukuzawa is never going to emotionally recover from this and neither will I.
Aya hunny I appreciate the enthusiasm but you might wanna read the room.

scattered thoughts on the new bsd episode because holy shit
-I don’t entirely agree with the idea that the anime as a whole is extremely rushed in terms of pacing but this episode in particular was. fast! lots of important things happening very fast! I heavily suspect this has to do with the studio wanting to end s5 on a somewhat concluding note so they had to rush through the manga content (‘manga content’ as in the stuff that hasn’t come out yet) to get to that point. so I expect the manga version will be a bit more detailed and slower paced which I’m excited to see.
-at the same time… I don’t think this arc’s quite over. first of all, fyodor isn’t staying dead. we still never learned about his ability or any of his other secrets that sigma read from him. he quotes jesus’s last words on the cross before dying give him three days he’s coming back you guys. it would be completely useless for sigma to reveal all his secrets and not even have that be important for his downfall. speaking of which! sigma isn’t dead either he passed out from information overload there was no blood in the manga fyodor's just lying or stupid. fukuchi also isn’t completely dead it seems since the post-credits have him coming back as a singularity to fight sskk or whatever the fuck! not even going to touch on that!
-I’m pretty sure we’ll be seeing this in the manga to some extent but something I’d especially like more context for is teruko’s actions. it seemed like she felt very conflicted about fukuchi being a doa member and also upset to learn what happened to tachihara. since she gave atsushi the choice to go free despite telling him it wasn’t worth it, I suspected she would betray fukuchi and assumed that was what happened when I saw out of context spoilers that she had killed him. however, all of fukuchi’s actions were completely re-contextualized this episode and teruko only kills him because that’s what he wanted and fukuzawa couldn’t do it. I still like that she was the one to kill him, but we desperately need context on her motivations and her relationship with fukuchi to tie everything together, because otherwise all we got from her is that she’s in love with fukuchi and went along with his plan but was sad about it…because she’s in love with fukuchi.
-speaking of teruko something I want to see in this arc’s aftermath is the hunting dogs disbanding. regardless of their individual motivations and belief in justice their position is portrayed as overly violent and corrupt. fukuchi became a hunting dog despite hating war and the state so he could become all-powerful and almost end the world to prove that the system that allowed him to get so much power was corrupt... it only seems right to me that the hunting dogs disband or something along those lines.
-chuuya having faked being a vampire the whole time was such a lame plot twist I’m sorry. it doesn’t do anything new with skk and completely throws any emotional conflict they could’ve had out the window. at the very least I hope it gets re-contextualized and we learn that it wasn’t something they were both in on from the very beginning or something because if not that completely lessens the emotional impact of dazai’s flashbacks before he drowns chuuya or him entrusting everything to sigma and sacrificing himself. I’m so sorry skk fans I’m glad I’m not one of you
-again sigma isn't dead but is dazai just gonna leave him in there or

this feels really odd to ask but but what do you think the hunting dogs' thoughts are about death? specifically if they die and how? cause I feel like all of them share a variation of "I will go down guns blazing and with glory"
fukuchi definitely feels it and I feel like jouno as well. they've both had rough and violent lives so I feel like they've always thought death was just right around the corner.
I don't know about the rest of them though. teruko I feel shares the thought but not as intense as the other two, and I dont know about tecchou and tachihara.
anyway. it's a neat thought to me :3
ohhh i’ve been thinking of the best way to answer this for DAYS. this analysis will be long so ill put it under a readmore.
the hunting dogs and death - analysis
overall, it is shown that they can die. i assume due to their abilities and bodily enhancements that they do not die of injuries very easily. it makes me wonder how disease hits them? partially mechanical bodies may not respond to illness as well as natural bodies would? or maybe the opposite and they can heal more so internally? anyways here's my thoughts on how each hunting dog perceives dying!!
fukuchi
i see fukuchi as fairly self-preserving up until the end. he can't die in battle because he needs to make sure the decay of angels plot carries out.
Tumblr media
remember that he was warned of this at nine years old. he had to spend his life preparing for this. he likely grew very wary of living recklessly and became great at fighting very fast and young; i assume that's why he went through dojos to fight as a child.
under no circumstances could he die until the world was safe.
i imagine he put on a selfless face and was willing to take serious harm in order to protect the peace, but i highly doubt he was ever willing to sacrifice his life until his plan worked out.
Tumblr media
here we see his thought process and how things need to fall into place. his participation was essential because in no other situation would fukuzawa be the one able to get access to the one order. if fukuchi had died beforehand, the war would play out as the amenogozen warning claimed.
Tumblr media
he had to leave the world to fukuzawa, the man he could trust most before facing his own demise.
of course, at this point in the series he has been killed since that was the final goal of his plan. a noble death for a fantastic hero.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
jouno
im actually a little conflicted on his perception of death. i believe jouno is willing to sacrifice his life if absolutely necessary but is probably more self-preserving than the others. i believe he likely uses his confident and slightly arrogant attitude to hide this self-preserving mindset. someone who comes off as intimidating or nonchalant during battle is more likely to throw off the enemy whereas appearing nervous or angry will make them seem vulnerable. i believe jouno also sees himself as very strategic and able to get out of situations easily if needed. he's a quick thinker from what we've seen thus far.
lets look at when he confronted fukuchi.
Tumblr media
he starts off very confidently accepting the offer. we know this is a facade but him immediately trying to throw fukuchi off guard seems so show he's pretty confident in his next move.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
but when this doesn't work, he immediately tries to flee. this is fairly unique for a fight in bsd, many characters will often fight until they either get what they wish or they're too injured to move. despite jouno having an ability that could dodge fukuchi's, he still chose to try and escape instead of continuing to fight. this is a very normal human reaction to have but not one you see as often.
Tumblr media
and at a disturbance, he begins to panic and needs to ground himself by reassuring himself instead of fighting back. he's not willing to put his life on the line to stop a global terrorism and his own escape is seen as a victory, which i see as him being more self-preserving. this all took place before the sword was set on fire, so it wasn't as if he had that threat to escape yet.
however, there's a chance he just didn't know how to fight the amenogozen; but his ability was definitely one of the best to fight against fukuchi with.
still, he's smart and made sure to plan adequately in case he was injured in the battle against fukuchi. he wants to keep himself safe, but he's still smart enough to take precaution.
Tumblr media
i think jouno has probably been through a lot in his life and wants to spend a while living happily, making him more afraid to die than the others. this is even shown when he took teruko being angry as a threat while fukuchi laughed over it.
Tumblr media
(as a small note, fukuchi's line in the anime was "haha. it seems our gremlin is angry today" which makes more sense in this context).
so tldr i think jouno would only go down if absolutely necessary and otherwise is fairly self-prioritizing.
tecchou
i believe tecchou would sacrifice himself if it brings justice.
however, he seems to see himself as one responsible for judgement, so i imagine he gives every single fight his all.
Tumblr media
regardless of him acting as judgement, it's been shown that tecchou is willing to die if he fails at his work.
Tumblr media
here he promises that if he were to fail he would commit seppuku (killing oneself via slicing through your stomach--an honourable death for a samurai fighter (which lines up with irl tetchou coming from samurai lineage)), which is an incredibly agonizing way to die. regardless, he is fully willing to do it if it is for peace. this shows a confidence in death and commitment to his sense of justice to an extreme manner.
and when he found himself in a situation where he was in the wrong, he immediately admitted defeat and asked his opponent to kill him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
he admits defeat, says his wrongs and is willing to accept the consequences.
Tumblr media
he even jumps to the harsh conclusion that he isn't worthy of his title as a hunting dog. the stark white in his eyes show that his mind isn't corrupted and that he is doing what he believes is proper justice. incredibly noble.
Tumblr media
luckily he was spared-and likely learned a lot about justice not always being as black and white as things appear.
overall, tecchou is a very noble fighter and is willing to put his life on the line for justice. he doesn't seem to fear death and will embrace it if he feels it is earned or deserved.
tachihara
i have less to say about tachihara than the others. i see him as the type that will go down over what's right and that's shown during his fight with fukuchi.
Tumblr media
he isn't willing to fear death or beg for forgiveness. he will go down if it is worthy.
Tumblr media
we also see that he keeps a argumentative spirit towards the enemy despite the circumstances. he will put down his opponent even in the moment of death, he just has the confidence to.
Tumblr media
this panel also shows that he's more willing to die than to be defeated. he doesn't want to harm anyone and be controlled so he tries to kill himself first.
overall, he's a strong fighter who isn't afraid to sacrifice his life for what he believes in. his orders make him who he is, and if the orders are to win he either will or he will die trying.
(of course that last part doesn't really count when he was posing as a mafioso because he couldn't blow his cover by easily surviving everything).
teruko
much like tachihara, teruko seems to be very willing to put herself on the line to keep people safe. this is shown almost immediately in her introduction.
Tumblr media
if ordered, she is willing to die. she's incredibly dedicated to her job and would go down if it saves people.
Tumblr media
she's willing to go to drastic measures to keep herself alive as well, destroying her eardrum and continuing to try and fight sigma despite being under the directed resonance guns (which were made to destroy people like her). she didn't run, and she did absolutely everything she could have done in order to win.
Tumblr media
she seems to also pride herself in fighting and being hurt in battle, likely to show her resilience and ability to do whatever it takes if it saves people.
Tumblr media
she even goes on to call the hunting dogs "society's servants" and refers to the enhancement surgeries as "searing order into their own bodies."
Tumblr media
this immense dedication makes me strongly believe that she would have no problem sacrificing herself if it is for the best. she killed fukuchi despite really caring for him, so i can see her being willing to put herself into that situation as well.
tysm for the question!!!!! this was super fun to read through the scenes again and try to piece together a logical guess on them all.

BSD College band AU
Look i have so many au ideas that im not prepared to write but i think theyre cool so theyre going on here anyways heres one brief outline of a band au thats been floating around my head for the past few days:
-Dazai Osamu, lit major. He starts a band with his sister Yosano (pry the sibling dynamic from my cold dead hands i dare u). He's perfectionistic and controlling since this is his dream, and isn't ever happy with the suggestions that Yosano makes for members of the band. He's the lyricist of the band, and plays guitar and piano. He was a piano prodigy as a kid, being forced to compete by their foster father Mori when he was young, but always preferred guitar. He's the rhythm guitarist. He's obsessive over music and will neglect his own health over the band (he almost always is sleep deprived and has bandages over his hands from overplaying the piano and guitar until his fingers would bleed)
-Yosano Akiko, bio major, she helps Dazai start the band. She plays violin classically but was the one to teach Dazai guitar when they were kids since she rebelled against Mori. Now she plays bass guitar. She does vocals occasionally, depending on what Dazai's vision is with the lyrics.
-Atsushi Nakajima, a down on his luck 3rd year in high school who just got kicked out by his foster parents after he turned 18. He played guitar as a kid and is a prodigy. He met Dazai one night after he tried to kill himself bc college sucks, and Dazai sees his guitar case, since Atsushi was busking at the time to pay for a hotel room, and is asked to join the band. Atsushi agrees bc why not, and Dazai lets him move in with him since he doesn't live in dorms (him and Yosano have their own place) He's the lead guitarist in the band.
-Ranpo Edogawa, Yosano's best friend and a criminology major. He has nothing to do with the band, but he's their biggest supporter. He works at a cafe alongside Poe, where the band frequently plays since Ranpo convinced the owner (Fukuzawa) to let them play there.
-Akutagawa Ryuunosuke and Gin, high school students and friends of Atsushi. Atsushi recommends him to Dazai who begrudgingly lets them join the band (Gin is their sound tech, and Higuchi later joins to become their manager) They compete over who gets Dazai's validation since they both look up to him (which dazai is like literally why. you should not be doing that Yosano is gonna kill me) He plays bass alongside Yosano. (also side sskk bc slay)
-Kouyou Ozaki, sociology major, she meets Yosano at a party where she sings karaoke and Yosano decides that she wants Kouyou to be their vocalist. She initially refuses since she's busy with college stuff, but introduces Yosano to her friend Verlaine (a psychology major), who's adoptive brother Chuuya is a drummer, and is looking to join a band. Later they make a deal that if Yosano can convince Chuuya to join she will too. Which miraculously does happen. Kouyou is their main vocalist.
-Nakahara Chuuya, lit major. He plays drums and guitar. He used to be in a band in highschool that got fairly popular with his childhood friends called "The flags". The band split up when they all went to different colleges though. He is in Dazai's lit class and they have a rivalry. Yosano asks him to join the band and chuuya refuses bc he HATES DAZAI. They do not get on WHATSOEVER. But after a lot of bickering and fighting Dazai gives in and lets him join (he says its bc he wanted Kouyou on board, but doesnt mention how he saw Chuuya playing his songs solo at a open mic at a bar nearby and was mesmerized) They eventually become friends. Chuuya is their main drummer but helps with lyrics sometimes. (bc i need soukoku writing songs together pls)
-The two other main bands are the hunting dogs (consisting of Teruko, Jouno, tetchou and Tachihara, except Tachihara's brother is the leader instead of Fukuchi bc i actually dont care about him sorry), and the decay of angels (but its just the russians lmao its just sigma nikolai and fyodor and sigma is sick of their shit)
-Dazai knew of the flags before and liked their music but is unaware that Chuuya is the same person that was in the flags.
-He falls for chuuya first and hard. (also making dazai ace bc #slay ace world domination) and chuuya also likes dazai but is like unsure of whether its reciprocated, and since both are shit at feelings its just pain as everyone else has to watch them pine over each other for like months.
-Kousano bc slay band lesbians <3 Yosano is very vocal about her love for Kouyou and is constantly asking her on dates etc, even though Kouyou goes weeks thinking its a joke.
-Chuuya's first band wasn't the flags, but the sheep, which ended with the sheep stealing the songs chuuya wrote and claiming credit for them, after chucking him out of the band. He's still salty about it years later, especially when Yuan attempts to get in contact with him when Dazai's band starts playing venues and getting popular.
-idk if i'll write any more for this but it popped in my head and im actually attached to the idea lol <3

Just some 3am thoughts
Why are my favorite bsd characters dazai and sigma?
Because I just wanna die, have absolutely no will to live, is in the second decade of my life and I already wanna quit it (no wonder why sigma wanted to die after barely three years. If I had the amount of anxiety he's had, I would've buried myself alive) and I'm always tired.
Because I have problems...
I also love chuuya, akutagawa, atsushi, ranpo, poe, fyodor, nikolai, yosano, kunikida, mushitaro, fukuzawa, higuchi, gin, tachihara, hirotsu, kyoka, kenji, tanizaki, tetcho, jouno, teruko, ango, oda, lovecraft and this list just goes on! Literally, it depends on the phase...
The fact that which character gets more spot light and screen time. I literally love every single character introduced in this anime. Bungou stray dogs is the ground breaker for morally grey characters with jokes on suicide and comical nihilism. (Maybe I'm just self-projecting)
Villains have class and elegance! [We don't talk about fukuchi here...] amazing motivations and not two whole episodes back stories that we have to watch BEFORE their introduction...
The characters feel so REAL and well-designed. Every single design is unique and breathtaking, the personality and motivations come naturally to the character.
I even ended up liking all the villains (not the minor ones). I don't hate fukuchi and mori also. [I'm so canceled] because as much as they are annoying and disgusting, their actions make sense. They are the perfect examples of empathetic villains. Fukuchi's war trauma hits hard for a person like me who's witnessed war herself. For mori I gotta say that... that... he is disgusting but his attempts to protect yokohama and his organization gives him value as a character. He is a character with a unique mentality and a much more grounded genius than dazai and ranpo who is as logical as a math equation. I don't like him (I can never forgive him for the things that he made yosano go through) but I like the way he's written. I only say this because beast mori exists...
When I say I like a character, that doesn't mean that I agree with their actions but personally, I have no problem rooting for a mentally ill terrorist on his journey to become a bird. I mean he just silly like that!! I love nikolai and his extreme ideology because gogol is my favorite writer in real life.
Fyodor was an absolute favorite for me, I am obsessed with dostoevsky's books (especially the gambler) so seeing anime boy raskolnikov was a huge 😍 moment, definitely. But he is much more than that (much more than a jerk to the bone for stabbing my sigma like that...) he is canonically soft and humble and his every move is filled with so much grace (I'm not talking about the anime fyodor, the manga fyodor had a way better display of this...) he is extremly intelligent, a tempting deal-maker type of manipulative psychopath and a huge mastermind who has questionable morals... AND his character design is cute. Not just cute, cute in a baby girl way...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I know what I said... [please leave me and my double standards alone...]
What the hell even is this?!? I wanted to talk about dazai and sigma... this is what I get for typing while I'm barely awake...

- Jouno loves falling asleep to Tecchou’s heartbeat, but when Tecchou goes on overnight missions, Jouno would try to fall asleep to calming heartbeat audios, but it’s not the same. So one Tecchou gave him a recording of his heartbeat for him.
- (a bit into the future with one) Jouno has learned to accommodate with Tecchou’s food habits, and had start making food compilations that don’t spell bad to him.
- Tecchno got Jouno a blind white cat for a birthday gift, and Jouno named her Toph (if you know, you know).
- Tecchou as blankets and a pair of sound canceling headphones on his bedroom couch, so whenever there is a thunderstorm, Jouno doesn’t have to worry about it.
- Whenever they get into arguments, no matter how angry he may get, Tecchou never results to yelling.
- the earpiece that Jouno wears was actually a gift from Tecchou, and the marks underneath Tecchou’s eyes are what Jouno drew on him in permanent ink.
- (in the future) when they first got engaged they made Teruko the best man and Tachihara the bridesmaid. (Also made Kenji the flower boy and Ranpo the ring bearer)
- (in the future) when they first the ADA, they felt they didn’t belong there, and especially felt guilty that the people they tried to kill for false crimes were very excepting.
- (post vampire arc) when they first faced Fukuzawa after everything, they were somewhat nervous at first cause, they had expected harsh punishments for what they’ve done, but Fukuzawa quickly assured them that they were only doing what was right, and that was protecting Yokohama.
- Jouno has unspoken love for sweets like Ranpo, and it’s the few things they bond over.
ANDNSNAAAWWWW These are so cute!!!!!
My first thought with the cat was Tecchou saying, “She reminded me of you the moment I saw her. Pretty white fur, blind, she also scratched me when I first met her”

I am obsessed with finding out which characters in Bungo Stray Dogs can drive. It all started when I noticed that out of all the characters 14 year old Kyoka is shown behind the wheel almost every time the ADA is going anywhere in a hurry. Atsushi who is 18 has been in the passenger seat beside her multiple times with no mention of the fact that she is 14 and probably struggling to see over the dash and touch the pedals at the same time. How is Kyoka the driver. So.
Confirmed can drive:
Kunikida. He's shown driving multiple times as well. He probably has his license and everything. He still takes the train and taxies so I'm guessing he doesn't own a car.
Kyoka. She does not have her license but she's who they put behind the wheel when Kunikida is down or not around.
Ranpo. Of all people. Shown to be able to drive rather well in chapter 79. I'm becoming convinced this is why he doesn't know how to take the train - he drives literally everywhere.
Higuchi. Shown driving home. Probably the character who drives the most if it's part of her usual commute.
Haruno. Seen driving, is explicitly handed the keys in fact.
Ango: Seen driving (poor thing).
Teruko: Seen driving. Probably has a license since they're not big on breaking laws. (But then they weren't on a public road).
Steinbeck: Can drive in places other than Japan. Rammed his truck directly into a very obvious poll in Japan.
Mori? This is unclear. He gets into what would be the passenger side of the car that explodes, but it might have been an American car. Pretty sure it was supposed to be an American car actually. There's no logo but it doesn't seem like there was a chauffeur and he moves like he's reaching for the wheel. Also it's really old and square in the manga.
Chuuya: Flies for the most part but drives a motorcycle in Dead Apple. Not sure if I feel this is canon or not.
Tachihara. Seen driving a scooter. I guess I'll allow it.
Can drive but shouldn't:
Dazai. Apparently this is brought up in a light novel. He drives with Kunikida, implying he has a license, but apparently launched the car into something. He's called a 'bad driver' but I suspect he just needed the thing he flew the car into dead right then. May actually be a very good driver and just lazy.
Driving status unknown:
Tanizaki: Shown at the controls of a helicopter but never a car? Those aren't the same thing so I don't want to say he can drive but apparently he can fly.
Poe: Also can almost definitely drive. Can change out engines. I'm convinced he was driving the truck the agency members were hiding in during the cannibalism arc but I have no proof. Has not been seen behind a wheel.
Fitzgerald: I can't imagine him not knowing how to drive just for sports cars reasons but I also can't imagine him driving when he actually needs to go anywhere.
Fyodor: Travels pretty far a lot, seems to walk though?? It's unquestionable that he could drive a car if asked, but would he? Is he legally allowed to? We may never know.
Kajii: Driving a train like a maniac doesn't count.
Hirotsu: Travels pretty far pretty often. Could be taking trains.
Katai: Doesn't go anywhere
Natsume: Cats around
Akutagawa: Also flies. Shown walking when Higuchi was driving. Probably can't drive.
Gin: Also shown walking.
Jouno: Probably can't drive legally but could maybe drive in a pinch. Jury is still out.
Fukuzawa: Because both Haruno and Ranpo seem to be regular drivers and Fukuzawa is only ever shown walking even when it's logistically improbable I'm becoming increasingly convinced he can't drive.
Kenji, Yosano, Oda, Kouyou, Q, Hawthorn, Margret, Louisa, Melville, Lucy, Mark Twain, Fukuchi, Tecchou, Sigma, Gogol: can't say one way or another.
Can't drive won't drive:
Atsushi will literally let Kyoka drive rather than take the wheel himself.
Naomi hands Haruno the keys to their getaway car and I feel like she'd drive if she could so she goes here.
Oguri: I think he'd have a heart attack if he had to drive for more than 3 minutes. I could be wrong. Shown having a chauffeur though.
Lovecraft.

What kind of Pony (mlp) I think the BSD characters would be:
!Spoiler warning for a small spoiler for Chuuya’s backstory/Stormbringer!
TWs: Short and very slight mention of lab experiments on a person/pony, very short and slight mention of manipulation, Mori being Mori. Nothing is described in a very detailed way though.
The first TW is a reference to Chuuya’s backstory/stormbringer and the other two are…Mori being Mori. I think you know how he is.
Dazai: Unicorn.( He would have become an Alicorn if he would have stayed with Mori and if he would have finished his training there.) He loves to watch Chuuya fly around.
Chuuya: Alicorn (He was born as a unicorn and due to lab experiments on him he turned into an Alicorn. He can also use extremely powerful magic due to this but loses control over it if he uses too powerful spells.)
Kunikida: Unicorn
Nikolai: Earth Pony but he owns a magic coat. He wishes that he would be a pegasus instead so that he can fly freely over the clouds together with the birds whenever he wants. He feels stuck, being bound to the earth, unable to fly.
Fyodor: Unicorn. Sometimes he uses his magic to let Nikolai float around whenever the other feels blue or even depressed.
Sigma: Earth Pony (Pegasus would suit too but he always references to himself as an “Ordinary man” in the manga so I think him being an Earth Pony would suit the best.)
Bram: Alicorn
Atsushi: Unicorn but he turns into an Alicorn later (He’s the MC so I gave him Twilight Sparkle treatment.)
Akutagawa: Unicorn
Poe: Pegasus (Idk why it just sits right with me.) who possesses multiple magic books which he can use himself or a Unicorn.
Ranpo: Earth Pony
Mushitarou: Unicorn
Kenji: Earth Pony but he’s extremely strong
Shibusawa: Alicorn. I am very unsure about it because him being a Unicorn would suit too but he is canonically overpowered af with multiple abilities and with being half dragon due to his ability so I think an Alicorn would suit the best. Or he is simply a real dragon.
Higuchi: Pegasus (Don’t ask why. It suits her really well in my mind.)
Gin: Unicorn
Tachihara: Unicorn
Lucy: Pegasus
Jouno: Unicorn
Tecchou: Pegasus
Teruko: Unicorn
Lovecraft: He would be either a Mermare or some powerful entity who lives in the sea/is connected to it and only loosely resembles a pony or looks nothing like a pony at all but who can shapeshift into looking a bit more like a normal pony (something about him will always look eerie to other ponies even tho they can’t quite grab what’s off about him.). In his pony form he would be an Earth Pony who can use magic.
Steinbeck: Earth Pony
Louisa: Unicorn
Fitzgerald: Unicorn
Mark: Pegasus or Earth Pony
Fukuzawa: Alicorn (Leader/King of the Kingdom where the ADA characters live. Takes a Princess Celestia kind of role to Atsushi.)
Yosano: Unicorn
Mori: Alicorn (Leader/King of the Kingdom where the PM characters live. Took a Princess Celestia kind of role to Dazai when he was younger but in a twisted and manipulating kind of way before Dazai ran away to the kingdom of Fukuzawa.)
Oda: Earth Pony
Ango: Unicorn
Hirotsu: Unicorn
Kouyou: Earth Pony who is connected to a powerful being (Golden Demon)
Kyouka: Unicorn or Pegasus who is also connected to a powerful being (Demon Snow)
Q (Yumeno): Earth Pony who is connected to a magic doll.
Verlaine: He’s an Alicorn but just like Chuuya he is one due to lab experiments on him. He was born as a pegasus.
Arthur: Unicorn
Elise: She is currently a unicorn but she can become whatever Mori wants her to be. She is currently a unicorn since Yosano and Dazai are both unicorns and she resembles both of them as children/teens.
