charlie kelly is really the dude ever made. I've never seen another character in any media exude the same weirdness he does. It's not a bad weirdness it's just charlies type of weirdness. he thinks he has seen ghouls.he has bitten santa claus in the neck. he tortured a random guy because he thought it was a leprechaun. he's a musical savant. he looks like a butch lesbian whenever he has a tank top on. he really likes cats. he's somehow a genius at managing the worst bar in philadelphia. he likes magnets. he's the prettiest mf ever. he has been wearing the same green jacket for 18 years straight. he didn't even know pineapples were a thing. he eats stickers all the time. there's a good chance he's covered in grime.he was immediately ready to kill himself when mac's dad was released from prison before considering any other option. he faked his own death with a shitty video where he and his boy best friend do a thelma and louise reference. denim chicken. he has hallucinations. he can't write in english but can both write and speak irish. he is everything to me.

(i talk spanish soo) HIIII, i'm new to tumblr but i'm trying to get familiar?? I LOVE TALKING ABOUT RADAR SO IDK, maybe you can tell me some headcanons or some opinions you have about the treatment he receives in the fandom? my hc are that he is filipino, he is 19-20 and he is boyflux with he/him pronouns.
i love infodumping things sorry
HIII YESSS THIS IS SO REAL im on my phone right now and it's like almost 2am so my thoughts won't be Super Duper coherent but here☝️ also big fan of ur hcs
first off in regards to the fandom im not blaming anyone in particular but i do feel like a lot of people kind of infantalize him when he's... very likely an adult considering he's had two jobs. i kind of see him around the age that you do (around like 19-20) so seeing some people treat him like a kid feels Weird? idk i don't like it. i also can't blame anyone for also not really looking into his character deeper but i do wish some people did look into the fact that he's more than what's at surface level!!!! mostly my issue with the prison radar thing - partially hc and also my interpretation but it feels more like a mask that he's put on due to the stress and pressure of everything he's endured up to that point (the iron breathtaker, and how he was treated in the ice palace. romeo calls him "baggage" to just be "jettisoned" or "cut loose" to his face.). you know?
more can be seen in the analysis posts ive made (you can search on my blog I can't find them rn but they're there) but this inspired me I Will make a another analysis post thing about how radar's treated in episode 2 and how it influences him. think that would be fun!
ANYWAYSSS here's some of my hcs :3
he's very autistic to me methinks. like i also do plan on elaborating how i see it but he feels very much unintentionally coded this way at least to me. it's a big part of how I interpret and write him
^ also i do feel like he has some form of trauma but especially from the iron breathtaker incident. like i don't think hed be the type to walk away from being literally tortured and be normal after that
definitely can see him as trans in some way I think......
im pretty sure this is like semi-canon but he strikes me as the type to like reading in general. he and lukas could talk about the books they like...
OH and I could see him being good friends with binta idk why but I think that would be fun
BUT anyway thank you for asking i love talking about radar ^___^ feel free to send asks again if there's something specific you wanna know about. i also do have this fic below which has a lot of my headcanons and interpretations kind of woven into it. but yeah thanks for this :3

so i have some silly questions. ive seen you and a lot of other kp accounts talk about skam. where do i start? which is the og skam? do i start with that? are all the skams the same but in different languages? should i watch all of them or some or only one? is it ongoing or done or unfinished? where do i watch it? also what is the show about and what are its major tws?
Definitely not silly questions, but holy shit they're big ones 😂 I'll try to be as succinct as I can, with the caveat that I haven't watched all of them in their entirety and the remakes are very much NOT interchangeable despite being adaptations of the same show.
So to break it down—
What is SKAM about?: SKAM was a Norwegian show that aired from 2015-17 for four seasons. The show was set in a high school and centered primarily around two friend groups (fans usually call them the girl squad and boy squad). Each season focuses on a new main character from these friend groups and is told from their point of view, with plot arcs that range from SA to mental illness to coming-of-age struggles, but they're all very grounded and relatable teen issues told with (for the most part) a lot of empathy and hope. The seasons are pretty narratively distinct rather than having major plots stretching across multiple seasons, so while you might miss some context, you don't necessarily have to watch all the seasons or watch them in order.
Now what's really cool about SKAM, and what you unfortunately miss out on somewhat by not watching it live, is the multimedia component. The show's format is something that was never really seen before and hasn't really been seen since, at least not to the same extent. While it was airing, each scene in that week's episode went live in real time throughout the week. So for example, if a scene is meant to take place on Monday at 3:20pm in the story, that scene would be posted online on Monday at 3:20pm. Scenes could drop at literally any time, day or night, and on top of that the characters had real Instagrams that they'd post on and text conversations that would be posted too, again all in real time, so not only was there something new pretty much every day for the fandom to talk about, but all those media components (clips, Instagram posts/stories, texts, etc.) were interconnected so they all fed into the plot in important ways. At the end of the week, all the scenes would be compiled into the full episode, but you wouldn't see the other media components which really add a lot to the story even if they're not 100% essential. I think a lot of the remakes have a fan-made Tumblr where all the different types of content have been collected and put in order so you can get the full experience, so I'd definitely check them out first.
As for the remakes, all of the above applies to them too. There are a total of seven remakes, each from a different country: SKAM France (France), Druck (Germany), SKAM Italia (Italy), SKAM Austin (U.S.), SKAM España (Spain), SKAM NL (Netherlands), and wtFOCK (Belgium).
Where to start: I recommend the original Norwegian SKAM. Some seasons are better than others, and if you're just in it for the gays (I pretty much was lol) then season three is what you're looking for. It's been a while since I watched the og or any of the remakes so I'm not sure where they're available now, but that info should hopefully be pretty easy to find.
Are all the SKAMs the same but in different languages?: Sort of, but also not. Most of them follow the main plots of the og seasons but they vary widely in terms of how closely they adhere to the characters, tone, themes, etc. SKAM España, for example, is SUPER different to the point that it barely resembles the original most of the time (and it's GREAT). Also some of the remakes didn't get to cover all four seasons (SKAM Austin and SKAM NL only got two seasons and I'm still in mourning), while some remakes covered all four AND seasons beyond that (SKAM France just finished its tenth season).
Should I watch all of them or some or only one?: Everyone has remakes they like more or less than others, it's just individual preference, but they're all worth checking out imo. After watching the original, I'd probably recommend SKAM France, Druck, or wtFOCK first as a taste-tester, but genuinely all of them have their strengths and their flaws. My personal favorites are SKAM France (for the cinema and acting), wtFOCK (for the music and general vibes), and SKAM NL (for the cinematography, acting, directing, basically everything).
Ongoing or finished?: Most of the remakes are finished, with the exception of SKAM Italia (which just started season 5 like two days ago actually) and mayyyybe SKAM France and Druck, which both had seasons finish airing recently.
Major TWs: This is hard because the remakes are, like I said, distinct from each other, so some TWs won't apply to all of them, and especially with the remakes that have gotten additional seasons, they have more than the original. I also haven't watched all of them from start to finish so I don't know all the things to look out for.
For the original, you'll definitely encounter drug/alcohol use and abuse, SA and SH, Islamophobia, homophobia, bullying, as well as depictions of mental illness that could be triggering. The show has its heavy moments, but it's not gratuitous about it imo and at the end of the day still manages to be uplifting despite talking about some really serious topics, which is a feat tbh. If you have questions about TWs for specific seasons or remakes I can try to go in a bit more depth. Each remake (and the original) also has a fandom wiki with episode/season summaries that give you a good idea of what to expect, so that could be useful as well if you want to watch out for anything in particular.
——
I think I got everything! If you have more questions about SKAM, totally happy to help as I know it can be confusing at first to get up to speed with it all lol. And definitely hmu if you want deets about the gay seasons, which are the only ones I've consistently watched because...well, I'm gay obviously lol.

I hope you dont mind my asking, but wouldn't GF have decided to remove the national dex long before LGPE released? I can see those games selling well confirming to GF that "pokemon sell well regardless of cut features" but it feels strange to blame it on LGPE when the development time on the games would suggest they made this choice awhile ago. (Not to defend lgpe lack of content) Sorry if this is a bother, I just feel like I'm missing something and would really like to understand your reasoning
For almost any other game I would agree, however for Pokémon in particular:
The National Dex (insofar as the ability to transfer old pokémon over) was never going to be a Day One feature. It’s never a Day One feature in the first games of the generation. Even if they wanted to make it one, in this case they couldn’t because Home isn’t releasing until 2020. As I’ve said in other posts, if they wanted to patch in the NatDex, they’d have the time to do it. Technically speaking, they’d have the time to do it, especially since the fanbase would be willing to wait (even if there’d be a few whiners here or there) the extra time.
Since it’s not a Day One feature, it’s something that can be worked on later in the development cycle (/can even continue to be worked on after the development cycle, or at least it could be if this series were treated with the respect of, say, The Legend of Zelda series). Again, I’m not talking about DLC that’s already on the game card that needs to be activated later, I’m talking about DLC that’s patched in, content created after that you download either to the harddrive or (though I don’t know if Switch DLC works this way specifically) onto the game card itself. Given the type of content they generally want to show early in the release cycle (the general theme / concept of the games, scenes of the various areas in the region, new ‘mon), and the fact that this would be a feature added post-release anyway, we can make a safe bet that the NatDex is something they’d work on much later in the development cycle, possibly even in the last year since, again . . . they’d have that time if they wanted to use it (and if this series was treated with genuine respect).
The Let’s Go games were stated by Masuda to be the future of the franchise if they sold well. They featured a Pokédex that was limited to only the Kanto ‘Dex, plus Meltan and Melmetal. They released in November 2018, and indeed, they sold well. In early 2019 (February, IIRC) Sword & Shield were released. While of course I don’t work at Game Freak and thus can’t say for sure, I would place money on the idea that if they were even a bit on the fence about adding the National Dex, the fact that Let’s Go sold so well despite being limited to 153 ‘mon pushed them right over the edge to, “Cut the National Dex from Sword & Shield, there’s no point in working on it.” I mean, why should they expend the effort if people will buy the games anyway? Especially when President Ishihara went on record saying that long-time fans only cared about “new pokémon and features” around the time of Let’s Go’s release. Sure, they might have already been thinking about cutting the National Dex beforehand, but Let’s Go no doubt assured them that it was a safe and correct call to make.
So that’s what I mean when I say that Let’s Go’s positive sales figures sealed all of our fates. To be entirely honest, before the National Dex announcement, I was certain that we wouldn’t see the shockwaves from Let’s Go until Gen IX. But Sword & Shield having a limited ‘Dex just like Let’s Go, and having special feature ‘mon behind $60 paywalls like Let’s Go, and having core features stripped out like Let’s Go, and the fact that it’s starting to look frighteningly like the starters won’t be able to evolve like in Let’s Go . . . the effect is pretty apparent. Sure, some of this stuff was present even before Let’s Go (namely the whole “let’s ditch useful features in the name of simplifying things” tack that Masuda has been married to for years now), but in the wake of Let’s Go, it’s success, and what Masuda said would happen if it was successful, it’s really hard not to see the link.
(Note just in case anyone read too quickly: I’m not saying the starters WON’T evolve. I’m only saying that I’m starting to fear that’s the case since we’re less than a month away from release and we haven’t even seen second stage evolutions yet. Maybe they’re just trying to keep starter evolutions a surprise, that’s entirely possible, but it’s also highly suspect, and Game Freak destroyed any trust or good faith I had in them a while back.)
As a final note, the reason why I say that the Pokémon games aren’t treated with respect is . . . well, there are a few reasons:
Game Freak stated themselves that they put their B Team on Sword & Shield while their A Team worked on Little Town Hero. They also said they wanted to create something, “as exciting, or perhaps even more exciting” than Pokémon. They’re tired of working on Pokémon, and it shows. Which, I mean, I get it, it’s been 20+ years, but in that case tell Nintendo so that they can shift the main games over to another studio. I get that Game Freak was created for the sole purpose of making Pokémon, and maybe Taijiri-san is pissed at how you’re disrespecting his baby (I would be), but for the good of the series, if you don’t want to work on it, give it to someone who does. Don’t just shift it onto your bare bones secondary dev team.
These games are in a hellish development cycle where a new one is popped out every year. Contrast this to The Legend of Zelda where, while we’ve had some anomalies where assets were able to be largely reused and so games came out only a couple years apart (see: Ocarina of Time to Majora’s Mask) --- even that had two or three years before releases, not one the very next year. Most mainline Zelda games spend five or six years in development. I’m fully aware that we will likely be waiting until something like 2022 for Breath of the Wild 2, and I am prepared to wait that time because I know the game we get will be incredible. Granted, I’m going to be dying every single time they announce a release date to push it back, but it’ll be a death I’m grateful for because I will know that the end product will be worth it. The Pokémon games used to have a similar luxury. While there were a grand total of five games released during that time (with “five games” being used loosely, given that one was a slight upgrade and the other four were really two games with slight differences between versions), Gen IV lasted for a grand total of four years. We had Diamond & Pearl in 2006, Platinum in 2008, HeartGold & SoulSilver in 2009, and then finally, Black & White in 2010. By contrast, Gen VII didn’t even last three years, technically. I mean, this November would be its third anniversary, but that’s when Gen VIII officially starts instead. To be fair, it could be argued that Gen IV didn’t have a full four years since it came out in September 2006, and Gen V came out in September 2010. But even if you make that argument, it still had a full year on Gen VII, and to be honest, that showed. The Sinnoh games are far and away not my faves, but they were still full of content. HeartGold & SoulSilver are often considered to be the best remakes in the entire franchise, and considering the content that was cut from OmegaRuby & AlphaSapphire and Masuda’s reasoning for why that content was cut, I can’t exactly argue with that even though I did genuinely enjoy ORAS. And the games that Gen IV ushered in? Controversial opinion, but I think that the Pokémon games peaked with Gen V. Black & White not only initially had a ‘dex that was nothing but new pokémon (and yet STILL included the Nat Dex later, because in Masuda’s own words he felt it cruel to keep people from playing with their faves forever!), but it also introduced a METRIC TON of new mechanics, some of which we no longer get to use (Rotation Battles? Game Freak doesn’t know her). Who knows what exactly Game Freak did with that extra year, but it was clearly a lot of work given how wonderful the games were in Gen IV and Gen V. The extra dev time showed.By contrast, Gen VII got 2.5 years (or 3 if you’re being generous). Every single game released during this gen had massive content cuts, even when comparing to Gen VI, which also had massive content cuts. Mechanics were stripped away, and Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon technically didn’t have a NatDex either, but at least you could still have all of your ‘mon in them at a later date if you wanted to. Now with Sword & Shield, we don’t even have that, despite the Switch being far more powerful than the 3DS. (We also don’t have Mega Evolution for whatever godforsaken reason, even though the Kanto Mega Evolutions at the very least were already used in Let’s Go, the fuck, Game Freak). Pokémon games print money and always have, and Game Freak has taken this and their lack of interest in the series to the depressing but I suppose logical extreme of “do whatever and they’ll buy it anyway.” There’s no love here, there’s no respect here. They just don’t care anymore, and as someone who does care an awful lot, it’s super upsetting to me.
And while people have tried to argue that the games can’t be delayed because of the anime or the card game or whatever else:
The games come first. They’ve always come first. I know some people mistakenly think that the anime came first and that the games were created later, but that is 100% false. Pokémon started as a game series and the anime was created to advertise the games, straight up.
Filler episodes exist, and the PokéAni is no stranger to them. The Orange Islands arc was an entire arc of filler created to pad time between Gens I and II. The Delacora Islands (or whatever they were called) was a filler arc meant to pad time between Gens V and VI. Arguably the majority of the Sun & Moon anime was filler, given its slice-of-life genre, meaning the anime was even less of an excuse not to delay Sword & Shield. You can’t tell me people wouldn’t have been happy with another year of the Alola crew running around getting into random adventures. People would have eaten that up and loved it. We could have had it all.
I’m not even going to dignify “but the card game” with a response lmao. This isn’t Yu-Gi-Oh!. Sure, the card game makes money, and probably a decent amount of it (merch sales probably make up the franchise’s greatest source of income, and as someone who easily spent several hundred dollars in two weeks at the PokéCenters in Japan---including over $100 in one trip to a PokéCenter while I was there, and we went multiple times---I am a big part of that), but they come up with bullshit new expansions all the time and could easily keep doing it. Again, not a reason to delay the games if the games need more time in development.
So all in all, at the end of the day, Game Freak is no longer treating these games with love and respect, which makes them an awful lot like the villains in the games they create. The Let’s Go games were harbingers of disaster for the games, and we were told this very plainly, and just about no one listened. In fact, I legitimately lost friendships with people who got mad at me for making Facebook statuses about how they should buy Let’s Go used if they absolutely had to have them because how DARE I believe Ishihara when he said that Let’s Go were considered core titles, and how DARE I believe Masuda when he said that Let’s Go would usher in the last twenty years of the franchise. Clearly, I was just being an ugly bitch. (I wish I was exaggerating, but this actually happened, I got blocked over it, it was ridiculous.) And now here we are as a result, with no hope of things getting better unless Nintendo forcibly rips Pokémon out of Game Freak’s hands, which I don’t even think they can legally do given that they only own 1/3rd of the IP. (The other 2/3rds belong to Game Freak and Creatures Inc., as I understand it.)
TL;DR:
Pokémon is still my favorite fictional fantasy world, but as someone who has always loved the games first and foremost, the current state of it depresses me to no end.

I started writing this with the intention of entering a contest but i accidentally made it too long. So I'm gonna post it here instead.
(the prompt was to write about an abandoned corner store. this is based off true events but i have changed the names for privacy sake)
As me and Connor walked down the sidewalk in our small town, the heat was practically dripping off our skin from the hot summer day. In the horizon, past the top of the street we were on and over a house in the distance, the sun started to go down.
I could thank god for every sunset and every cool night it brought with it. The summers always seemed so intense nowadays. I rubbed the back of my neck to feel the light sunburn i had been working up. My black Poison t shirt seemed to collect the heat like a big frying pan. The surface of it would probably stay at least semi warm for another hour to come. God damn, it was uncomfortable sometimes.
“Hey, Lanz” Connor addressed me, “Thats the house I was talking about earlier. The one we’re gonna get into today.”
He pointed at a house across the street that looked quite run down. At least, it looked like a house. There was a large porch with fancy cut wooden beams out front, old fashioned decorative beams, I'm sure. Above the porch was a big sign that stretched horizontally to cover the front of the building. The painted on logo was so faded that I could hardly recognize what it was trying to say.. All I could make out was the end of it, which said: “& SONS” in big black and yellow letters. The windows were boarded up and it looked like there was just a big slab of wood being used for a door. If I squinted, i could see the shiny padlock thrown on to keep people out. Paint was chipping off on all sides of the building but I could still tell it was yellow at some point.
Me and Connor both went through our standard procedure for these things. We looked around for people on sidewalks and listened for cars going by. I made a special note of looking into all windows on the block facing the old house, making sure there wasn't any old people or concerned onlookers waiting to call the police on two sketchy kids standing outside.
“I think we’re good at for the moment” I said to him.
“Alright,” He started with all seriousness in his voice, “I'm gonna run across the street, kick the door in, then when I give you the signal, I want you to run across the street and get inside. Got it?”
I nodded my head in response. While Connor was kind of a dumbass at times, He was surprisingly good at doing this stuff without getting caught. He had a plan that he always kept simple, and knew how to keep people calm and in line when the pressure rose. I can't help but think of the few times we ran from cops or house owners.
I stood stock still and pulled out my Ipod, just messing with the touch screen while I waited for Connor to do his thing.
Out of the corner of my eye, I watched him glance to the houses again, Double checking that we weren't being watched.
With newfound confidence, He got down into a runners position. Aimed at the house across the street, He let out a deep breath. With that, he took off.
He sprinted across the street quickly. I watched him run right up to the front door and, using all of his momentum, drove his foot into the center of the door, blowing it right open. With a loud bang, it swung open so fast that the top part broke away from the hinge. Connor clumsily caught the door just short of hitting the floor and propped it up real quick.
I put my Ipod in the back pocket of my jeans and watched Connor stand in the door frame. He peaked out and looked both ways across the street. After checking the coast was clear once more, he waved me over.
I took a quick glance around and was about to zip across the street myself when I heard a car coming up over the hill to my right.
I froze for a second and looked at connor across the street. I motioned frantically for him to shut the door while also trying to point out the car again. He took a glance and saw it before quickly shutting the door. I whipped out my ipod again, trying to make myself look busy out there on the sidewalk by myself.
The car went by and turned at the next intersection. I could hear the door scrape across the wood floor as Connor opened it again. He waved me over.
I ran across the street as fast as I could. Which, really, wasn't all too fast. I could only really run when I was being chased.
I zipped across the road, over the lawn, over the porch, and right inside the building.
As soon as I got in, Connor slammed the door shut once again, propping it so it would stay in place. I took a moment to stop and catch my breath. It was darker in the building for obvious reasons. I stood upon a creaky wood floor that was covered in dirt and dust. Looking up, I saw an old countertop without any trim or glass. It was the only thing in there that even came close to resembling furniture. The floor was littered with a bunch of old square looking cans and a few beer bottles. I took one more deep breath before walking over to one of the cans.
The cans were all rusted and looked pretty rough. I picked up one and flipped it over to see what it was.
KEROSENE
What the hell?
“Woah” Connor spoke beside me, walking over to one of the beams holding up the next level of the building, “Check this out”
The beam he was looking at was charred black. I followed it to see that most of the beams were at least a little charred and floor in the center looked burnt.
“Jesus. It looks like someone tried to burn down the place.” I stated.
“What do you mean?” Connor asked.
I flipped the can around to show him what it said.
“Holy shit!” He exclaimed.
I dropped the can to the floor to investigate the burns. It looked like the fire started mainly in one corner below and spread to particular areas. Considering how open the bottom floor was, I'm surprised the whole place didn't light up. I had never messed with Kerosene so I wasn't sure how effective of a fuel it was to burn a place down, but it seemed like it had a hard time staying lit after the fuel itself was burned away.
From the looks of things now though, all the wood was so dry that this whole place would probably go up in flames if someone happened to drop a lit match. Out of all the abandoned places I've broken into, this one was the most interesting. It felt like something real serious happened here. It really made me wonder what was upstairs…
I looked to the staircase to see that, while it looked flimsily made like it was thrown together in a single afternoon, it also looked untouched by the fire.
Connor made his way to the staircase to try it out.
“I'm gonna check this out first and if it seems safe then we can try to get you up here” Connor said to me.
I nodded and kept looking at the cans. There must have been about 20 of them all spread out. Around the floor. Either this type of fuel was really bad for burning places down or the person who tried just really sucked at being an arsonist.
“Hey...They're safer than they look..” Connor spoke from the stairs.
I walked over and tried to put my weight on one. I weighed at least a hundred pounds more than Connor so I knew this was risky. The stair creaked and warped with my weight on top. Feeling a bit braver than I should, I set my other foot on the one above and pushed myself up a step. It held me so I made my way up the rest of the stairs slowly.
When I got to the top, we reached what was probably once a storage room. I say this because the four walls were outlined with older looking boxes. I’d have to say they were either late 90s or early 2000s but it was kinda hard to tell. Most of the packages were sky blue. Whether they were faded from the sun or not, I couldn't tell. They each had a General Electric logo in the corner.
They were random hardware appliances. There were a lot of globes for overhead lights, boxes of light bulbs, house fan kits, power outlets and covers, and other random items of that sort.
Out of curiosity, I had to know if these boxes were just empty or if there were actual appliances still inside. Walking over to one of the boxes carefully, I crouched down in front of it and gently pulled the top of the box open as not to rip it. Sure enough, sitting right in the box was a glass globe wrapped in bubble wrap with a plastic bag around it.
Why were all these left behind? Was burning down the building an attempt to collect insurance money for the place?
Either way, after Connor had checked a few more, we decided that they were all brand new products still in boxes after all this time. It was strange that these were left here and even stranger that there had been a new padlock on the front door. Something about all of this was shrouded in secrecy and I was oh so curious to figure out why.
Suddenly, I heard a police siren at the end of the street. Me and Connor both looked at each other and froze.
We listened to the police car. The siren got louder and louder indicating it was getting closer. Me and Connor both ducked our backs to the walls away from the window. The blue lights flashed frantically through the glass and illuminated the room. It was a terrifying sight if ive ever seen one. The siren hit its peak volume, almost deafening in my ears and competing with the sound of my heart getting ready to burst from my chest.
The lights passed by the house and the sirens followed down the street away from our location.
Me and Connor both looked at each other and I released a breath I didn't know I was holding. That was fucking close…
So after running out of the house, much in the fashion we ran in, Me and Connor walked back to my place and were currently sitting in my room, sipping a soda.
“Ok, so I think someone tried to burn the place down to collect the insurance for it” I started to explain.
“Really? Why do you think that?” Connor asked.
“Well, It's simple, really. I think the owner was probably in too deep over their heads or something. They weren't selling their stock like they hoped and they knew the only way to make it out without getting into debt was to burn it down and collect the insurance money. Because as long as it looks like an accident or that someone else did it, the insurance is there to pay everything off.”
“Well they didn't do a very good job.”
We both laughed at that.
“I wish we had a car or something so we could take that stuff in there. That stuff is still new! It'd be good to have around in case something breaks or needs to be fixed, ya know?” Connor said.
“I hear ya” I replied, “we could also just smash some of it if we get bored.”
We both laughed again and enjoyed the cool night air blowing in through my window.
