Not to mention Luthien is literally based on his own wife, Edith. Tolkien didn't spend his whole life shipping his self inserts with his wife just so randoms in Amazon's cast and crew Twitter would call him misogynist 😂

Galadriel (the real one), Haleth, Morwen, Luthien, and Eowyn must have been collective hallucinations.

All of his female characters are treated as *godly* beings ffs. It's noticeable he put some of Edith (the literal love of his life) in them. Arwen, Luthien and Galadriel are older, wiser, and more powerful than their husbands. Just the way he saw his own wife.
