Ok so it's heavily implied that Galaxy Squad and Ultra Agents are set in the same universe (or, at the very least, alternate versions of the same one), but I personally headcanon that Agents (2010) and Alien Conquest are also the same universe, and they're set in out-of-universe set order, though not over the same timespan (AC is set a few years after Agents, GS is set somewhere between several decades and a full century after AC, UA is set several decades after GS).
Also I legitimately forgot that Galaxy Squad had robots with unique head-moulds. They should bring them back (the moulds, not the minifigs); they were really cool.

Alien Conquest (A.k.a. 2021 War of the Worlds) (2021)
Invaders from Mars attack New York and it’s up to two astronomers can find the secret to defeating them.
As far as adaptations go, this wasn’t one of the better ones. Some of the effects held up well but they were mostly generic or wasted, for example the aliens themselves looked pretty good but were revealed from the outset for no reason, they literally made themselves vulnerable just to pop out and have a brief look. The acting similarly wasn’t too awful considering the budget but was wasted on limited action.
All of the dialogue was either basic exclamations which one would expect, or scientific babble to explain what was about to happen rather than showing it. None of it felt especially clever, if you know the story then it’s all predictable. The lore behind the tech was a little different but in such a way that it didn’t make sense; they’re shielded from oxygen but can still grab and eat people, the aliens don’t know about bacteria but have developed DNA coded organic controls, and they need to be hit by germs directly despite eating humans who are well known for being absolutely riddled with them.
Some of the characters and methods of fighting weren’t without entertainment value, but it was mostly pseudo-intense explanations and basic action. Unlike some other adaptations it at least incorporated the red weed somewhat truly to the source material and it was interesting to see it as part of the main threat.
There were some changes to the original story but all of them were for the worse, the main one being that we were aligned with military figures rather than individuals, so there was less to relate to and it felt less personal. There was some sub-plot about their families but it was basic enough that it didn’t seem worth investing in much.
2/10 -It’s not THE worst, that’s something else. But…-

I'm super tired and basically spending NYE on the couch with snacks, but Rick would probably be slutting it up in some intergalactic night club right now.

fucking i just remembered that post about like. how taurine is an essential amino for cats to eat bc their bodies can't make it on their own and how it's found in a lot of energy drinks and there was some joke about feeding your cat boy monster energy drinks to make sure they get the proper nutrients in the post somewhere. anyway that's trolls to me.

you know i’m going crazyinsane over this because ufos and aliens and the like were a huge special interest of mine from the ages of 10-13 and if it is actually anything other than a chinese spy craft or a typical usa conspiracy to distract the population from a new cold war or whatever (linked to the balloon) then i am going like full autism mode on main so cool people unfollow if you wish . even if it’s not aliens this is still going to be historically interesting. fixed on the news it’s 2am i wish i could be listening to the radio everything feels so artificial on the internet

General Coremh is a member of the Sentinel faction and deputy leader of "Team Venomhound". Additionally, he's the ambassador of the Bellaran from Mars.
But Coremh wasn't always a diplomatic figure. During the Aurum-Mars war that ended nearly two decades ago (sometimes referred to as the "CrystAlien Conflict" by humans), the Bellaran designed a Super Soldier program, and Coremh was a top subject of its success.
Fast, strong, dexterous and strategic, the perfect soldier. But Coremh saw war in the eyes, and the lives he took haunt him to this day. It is for this reason he left fighting behind and chose to learn more about humans.
But now, when the threat of the Maelstrom looms, human and Bellaran join to fight together at last.
