James and I are pretty close, you could say. We met about a year ago, started to become real friends a few months later. I've also had a crush on him from almost the beginning, and I suspect that James feels the same way. Our friendship has gotten very flirty recently: sitting next to each other with our thighs touching, me resting my head on his shoulder, him playing with my hair. But I'm nervous enough and awkward enough that I'm don't know how to make the first move. And I don't think he knows either.

James and I were at a birthday party for one of our mutual friends. Both of us had more than a little to drink, and I was cuddled up next to him on the couch, his arm draped around my shoulder. This was exactly where I like to be: enjoying the warmth of the alcohol and the warmth of James' body next to mine. James is a lot more talkative drunk than I was, so he was doing the socializing for both of us. He was drinking a seltzer while he talked, pausing occasionally to burp softly.

James shifted to set his can down on the floor, and I could hear the liquid slosh inside of him as he moved. He re-positioned himself next to me, stopped talking mid-sentence as a look of discomfort came over his face. He placed one hand on his stomach, patted it twice, and *UURRRRPPPP*. It was a big burp, and I know he would have tried to hold it in if he'd been less drunk.

Now, I tend to get really horny when I drink. And James belching so casually, so close to me, only compounded the problem. I began to feel that familiar ache in my groin. I was unbearably horny, horny enough to risk a little bit of awkwardness. I stood up from the couch, took James by the hand, and without saying anything, led him to an empty bedroom.

"James," As I start talking, I realize I don't have a plan. "James, I've had a little bit of a crush on you for a long time,"

I pause, but when I look up, James is grinning at me, so I continue, "and I'm drunk and horny right now, and..."

I don't get the chance to finish my thought, because his mouth is on mine. It tastes sweet and a little bit like alcohol. We're both still drunk, so neither of us are bringing our A-game, but I definitely don't care.

James' hand is on the small of my back, forcing my body closer to his. So when the muscles in his belly suddenly lurch, I can feel it in my own stomach. He pulls back from me to let out a deep belch. He tries to apologize, but now it's my turn to cut him off. I kiss his neck, which was a good idea because I hear the afterburp that he probably could have stifled if my ear wasn't centimeters from his chin.

Every time James burps, I feel my brain short-circuit. I've wanted him for so long, and this is fulfilling all of my wildest fantasies.

I move back to his mouth and reposition my hands so one rests on the side of his stomach. I press down lightly, and am rewarded a few seconds later as there's a gurgle in his throat followed by a short, loud burp.

His face goes red, and I can tell he's embarrassed.

"James, don't worry about it" I place my hand at the bottom of his ribcage in a way I hope is reassuring.

"Yeah , I just don't want to gross you out or anything"

"Trust me, I'm the furthest thing from grossed out right now" I smile, and James rolls his eyes. He has no idea how honest I'm being.

"Fine, then, if you're really not grossed out, how do you like this?" He slaps his chest a couple times, and lets out a long, wet, belch.

*gurrrrrrrpppphhhggg*

"I felt that one in my own stomach" I laugh, trying to play it casual, not yet ready to tell him that I have a burp kink.

"Okay, now it's your turn"

I hadn't expected that, but I'm always game when it comes to burping. I find where James set down his drink, and I chug the rest of it. I can feel the cold bubbles in my stomach, when I shift positions, the air rushes up into my throat.

*HOUUUUOUURRRPPP*

It's louder than I thought it would be, and James also seems taken aback.

"God damn, I'm impressed," he pats my stomach, which gurgles in response and I burp again, mouth closed this time.

The alcohol has made us both tired, so when James lays down on the bed, I lay next to him and drape my arm across his chest. I look over and his eyes are closed.

"Are you asleep?"

"No," he whispers back. Then James opens his eyes and turns to face me. "When we're both sober, I want to take you on a real date"

Finished the Barbie movie

A little girl in the bathroom told me she liked my dress, so that was nice
