llama i must know
do you have any thoughts about siren bad sanses? 👉👈(//ŏ﹏ŏ//)

Horror: Now, Skull is a cecaelia. But I think Horror would be a little different. A big frightening toothed whale - particularly, a Risso's dolphin. Risso's dolphins have a cool effect where any time they get an injury, their scars lose pigment and remain white forever. Horror is slowly turning whiter and whiter as time goes on.
Just like usual, he used to be normal sized, but his injury kickstarted a bizarre growth spurt and he's become far larger than he ever should've. He enjoys targeting boats - since he's so big he can easily sink small ships, his favourite 'game' is ramming vessels and seeing who survives after the ship rolls over. He eats anyone who drowns.
I can imagine him falling in love with you from the water, and rocking your boat purely to get your attention. If you ignore him he slams into the hull in frustration. He'd never sink your boat, of course... not unless you were really, REALLY ignoring him, and he lost his temper.
Dust: An oceanic whitetip shark. The beautiful dark colouring. The 'dusty' white edges of the fins and tail. A solitary, wandering creature that's probably responsible for many of the open-water shark attacks attributed to other species... IMO, it's absolutely perfect.
Before joining Nightmare, he travelled long distances in isolation, avoiding large vessels or groups but hunting down and killing anyone (or anything) he caught alone. He'll follow prey for weeks; he often waits for people on boats to go stir crazy before he attacks.
He's a distant admirer. He'll stalk from afar, but come closer at night, when it's hard to distinguish his dark shape against the moonlit sea. He thinks you'll be a very pretty siren.
Killer: @aka-indulgence suggested Killer is a bull shark and she's absolutely right. Killer is hyperactive and murderous, but incredibly loyal to those he cares about (even if he won't admit he cares). Bull sharks are fast, notoriously aggressive, yet surprisingly social.
Killer just enjoys... well, killing. He sometimes plays with his prey, but the games are never as forgiving as Horror's, or as patient as Dust's. He likes to bite the limbs off of his targets and watch them struggle to get away.
He's extremely friendly to you. Worryingly so. He lacks any subtlety, he'll come right up to your boat and put his arms over the edge when he wants your attention, flirting like you didn't just watch him murder another siren in cold blood. A swift strike with an oar is usually enough to ward him off - but unfortunately, it never seems to chase him away permanently.
Nightmare: He isn't any one species. He's much, much older. He was something else before his corruption... but times change, don't they? If you don't know what to call him, he certainly doesn't mind the ego stroke of being called a kraken.
Obviously it would be ridiculous of me to make Nightmare anything other than a cecaelia. He's large, scary, black as midnight sea, beautifully bioluminescent when he wants to be. He has attributes of lots of different deep-sea creatures; retractable hooks in his tentacles, a toxic bite, terrifying teeth, incredible vision. He's not the kind of thing you want to encounter underwater. Ever.
The other sirens would be very reluctant to let Nightmare know you exist. But when all three of his underlings are chasing the same prey... well. You'll catch his eye sooner or later.

I've had a thought, mainly about Blue and Horror, and about their shared position as major players among the Star Sanses and Bad Sanses, and the UTMV in general. But at the same time they're also usually a big part of AU crossovers where the multiverse isn't as involved, or is only ever referenced vaguely (for example, its just the original, Fell, Swap, Horror, and Fellswap brothers being in the same household).
What would happen if those different sides of them were combined?
More under the cut!
SO everything is generally the same among the Star Sanses and Bad Sanses (and Error, he's not on either side but he's there lol) BUT Blue and Horror (who i'll be referring to as Axe in this) are the only ones with actual AUs to go back to AKA they're the only true in!codes (Ink and Error being true out!codes; Dream, Nightmare, Killer, Dust, and Cross are considered out!codes bc they're the sole remaining survivors of their respective AUs).
Blue goes back to his AU regularly bc its just regular Underswap and he enjoys it just as much as he enjoys being a Star Sans, but Axe doesn't really want to go back since Horrortale is kinda not good but he feels guilty leaving his Papyrus behind. He sees Nightmare and the gang as family too, but he can't just leave behind his lil bro to that.
And Blue and Axe bond over that; over their weird, uniquely similar situation of still having something to go back to despite having responsibilities and roles so much bigger than their own universes now (let's say that the two groups have formed a truce at this point).
AND THEN you know those stories where different Sanses and Papyruses get transported to the original universe and get stuck there for the forseeable future? That happens, but the Swap Sans and Horror Sans there are Star Sanses Swap and Bad Sanses Horror.
This version of the others (UT, UF, Swap Pap and Horror Pap, maaaybe Fellswap too) are unaware about the wider multiverse. They know and have confirmation that the multiverse exists but they have no knowledge of Ink, Error, the apple twins etc. Blue and Axe kept their brothers completely in the dark about all of that.
Why can't the others just fetch them and return them to their original AUs? Let's say that the thing that caused the accidental transportation made the code of the classic universe corrupt, so that there's no AU hopping for everyone currently there.
I don't know if something like this has already been done, but I thought it would've been an interesting concept to explore! Lemme know if you guys have any thoughts about this!

Kaijuverse
General Info
- The multiverse is in a peaceful truce, Error and Ink aren't fighting, Dream and Nightmare are working on improving their relationship(brotherly, no ship there(no hate if you do, just won't be in this story)), and things are recovering from the constant fighting that was happening only a few months ago. (Also as a side note, Geno is not stuck in the Save Screen anymore, and kept his immunity to Reaper's death touch cause I said so.)
- But then the Creators(aka me, but for the sake of the story, it's the Creators. Also the second thing I'm using from the Titan!AU) decide they want chaos and handpicked certain characters that are either aware of or are able to travel to other AUs to be able to transform into Kaiju.
- It happens at the same time, so the chosen monsters are simultaneously going to transform, but it the process does take a while.
- But, for their first few transformations, they can't control themselves in their Kaiju forms, acting completely on the Kaiju's instincts. Although it slowly gets easier to become more aware of themselves and control their new forms and powers, they won't be able to control when they transform at all.
- After they transform back the first few times, they only remember a little of what happened, but after some time and them becoming more aware during their transformations, they can remember more of their time as Kaiju.
- After their first transformation, they take on certain features of their Kaiju form(ex. horns, claws, dorsal spines(fins?), etc.(debating between letting them have wings/tails as well)).
- If one of them dies as a Kaiju, they would only turn back to normal, though in some pain and exhausted. They are also harder to kill in their normal form, if anyone were to try to kill them.
- The kaiju's eyes depend on who is in control, their eyes are the same as the original kaiju if the one in charge is the kaiju, or if their instincts are fighting for control, and the eyes are the same as the monsters' if they are in control.
- Regardless of the one in control, they can't speak any language while in their kaiju form, they can only communicate through the way their kaiju would communicate.
- The timeline the monster turned kaiju is in can't reset until the kaiju has either left or turned back(and even when the monster has returned to normal, they will still be passed out for a few days after, regardless of reset). The universe they're from also won't be able to reset until they have returned to their universe.
The characters and the kaiju they turn into:
Error -> Godzilla
Ink -> Kiryu(Mechagodzilla)
Dream -> Mothra
Nightmare -> Battra
Killer, Dust, and Horror -> King Ghidorah
Blue -> Anguirus
Paps(US!Papyrus) -> Rodan
Reaper -> Destroyah
Geno -> Burning Godzilla
Fresh -> Megaguirus
Farm -> Biollante
Cross -> Gigan
UF!Papyrus -> King Caesar
Classic Sans -> Baragon
There are three stages before the cocooning stage that prepare them for the transformation.
Stage 1:
- They are slightly more clumsy than normal, but otherwise don't notice this for a while.
- Their senses are heightened/more sensitive. Their bedroom light could be almost painfully bright when it's usually not, something that smells a bit bad now smells twice as bad, etc.
- This stage only lasts two weeks.
Stage 2:
- Their Souls start building up magic by producing more and storing it. This is needed for the cocooning stage, and the amount needed is much more than the monster's Soul can make itself. So the Soul starts absorbing any ambient magic in the area. It doesn't drain any other monsters' magic, only the magic that's in the air, or otherwise known as residual magic. It is just magic that comes off any monster or human Soul into the air, kinda just unnecessary magic that was already used(or something like that).
- The magic buildup causes the monster to become warmer, and their joints faintly glow from the amount of magic stored. It gets gradually brighter the more magic is stored, and how much of the bones start glowing also expands from just where the joints meet(ex: At the start, the elbow, shoulder, and wrist joints will faintly glow, but near the end of the magic buildup stage, their whole arm will be glowing. So basically their entire body will be glowing by the time the third stage starts. It's not really all that bright, though, the faint glow is barely noticeable, and the brightest it gets is just enough to have them be noticeable in near darkness). Same for how warm they get. For most, it only gets very warm.
- The monster also gets much hungrier, needing more food to keep up with the increased magic production, and since monster food is also magic, it also gets absorbed into the ever growing magic storage. The monster never feels full or satisfied no matter how much food they eat. While it's never to the point that they're starving, it requires them to eat more than they normally do per meal, more often than not, they will just eat more often throughout the day, but sometimes they will have larger meals to try to keep up with their(at first perceived) heightened metabolism.
- Their Souls, in need of only storing up magic, will prevent any unnecessary use of magic, which is anything that isn't just keeping them alive and moving. This means that they won't be able to use magic attacks or activate any abilities that requires magic.
- Near the end of the second stage, their Souls will have stored up four times what is normally stored up. The Souls never grow in size to accommodate the amount, so it's all just very concentrated in the Soul. So the monster will feel immense pressure in their Soul, causing them to be uncomfortable, feeling like their Soul is about to burst, but it's not a risk to their health. Just very uncomfortable.
- This stage takes the longest at one month and two or three weeks, it can fluctuate a little bit.
Stage 3:
- They start feeling exhausted all the time, like they're not getting enough sleep. Eventually they pass out in a coma-like state. No one can wake them at this point.
- This stage lasts for two weeks, give or take a day.
Some specific symptoms for certain members:
- For Nightmare, his goop becomes more solid and heavy. He becomes a bit more lethargic in response to this. It only amplifies the exhaustion that the third stage causes.
- Killer, Dust, and Horror are a unique case, as they all share the same kaiju. At the start of the second stage, they all start sharing moments where they'll all say or do the same thing in unison. At first it's kinda infrequently, but as the second stage progresses, it happens much more often, and for gradually longer times. It's not quite caught on to others that this is a symptom of the transformation, but them all playing pranks until a few transformations later. By the halfway point of the second stage, they are always seen nearby each other, rarely leaving each other's side. They're almost always in physical contact with each other, too, holding hands or shoulders, leaning on each other, etc., and start sleeping together. By the third stage is when people start to worry the most during the first few transformations. They start fusing together in whichever way they slept on each other. It's a couple days into the third stage when it starts, their clothes are the first thing that seems to just stitch into each other. Then any physical contact they make starts to stick to each other, requiring a lot of effort to remove them from each other, but is impossible to do so after a couple of days. Sometimes it's more awkward for them to move, sometimes it's easier, and sometimes it's near impossible for them to move depending on the positions they end up in and they have to stay bedbound. It starts becoming super disturbing as they start to fuse further into each other, not just sticking to each other. It's not unlike how the amalgamates look in terms of being fused together. Their mannerisms and personalities also start bleeding into each other, so despite their exhaustion in this stage, they can certainly be dangerous.
- Horror goes through a hard time the first few transformations with the second stage, specifically with the hunger part of it. He's more desperate because of his past issues with starvation and constant hunger. He was doing a lot better when Nightmare helped him, but this caused him to relapse into how he was in his AU. It gets easier for him after a few transformations as he learns it's caused by them.
- Ink, with his lack of Soul, has all the magic stored in his ribcage instead, and near the end of the second stage he feels like his ribcage is being pushed outwards from inside. He's probably the most tame of these unique transformations.
- Geno is also going to have a hard time with his transformations, since his Soul is only a ninth of what a normal Monster Soul is. So the amount of magic he needs to store is much more than what his Soul could normally handle, as the amount is the same as the others with normal Souls(if not more, cause Burning Godzilla is overflowing with energy, so he likely needs to store even more energy than most others). So proportionally his Soul is holding what could be seemingly twice as much magic as the others at the end of the second stage. Because of this, he is going to be feeling pain almost throughout the whole second to third stages. He also will feel very hot, instead of just very warm, both because of which kaiju he becomes, and as that much magic in proportion to the size of his Soul is more compacted than others, and his joints will glow brighter than everyone else's. He's just not going to have a good time in any of his transformations.
Cocooning Stage
- Shortly after they have passed out, there is a grace period of an hour where whoever is with them can move them somewhere, though for the first couple of transformations, it will likely be their own bedroom(for those who have someone who is not going through the transformations that live with or visiting them). When they have not been moved for an hour, the cocooning process starts.
- It starts with a barrier forming around the monster, it's almost completely transparent at first, and is oval shaped. It will attach itself to the ground/floor to prevent any movement from interrupting the process.
- Over the course of the next month, it grows in size. Depending on what kaiju the monster is turning into, the barrier will stay the same-ish shape, or become more egg shaped. It also becomes more opaque and denser after the first couple of days.
- If the cocoon is forming in a house, the cocoon will inevitably destroy the house, and will first collapse the floor if it's on the second or higher floors when it's big/heavy enough. Depending on how close the next house(s) are, this could damage or destroy that house(s).
- The cocoon will either stay white-ish, start taking on the kaiju's colors, or in the case of Mothra and Battra, take on the colors of their eggs(there is no official Battra egg, so I will come up with it).
Kaiju Transformation Length
- The monster will be in kaiju form for 2 and a half months, so long as their kaiju hasn't died prior to the end of it.
- For a summary of the full timeline on how long the whole thing takes, it's this:
1st stage: 2 weeks
2nd stage: 1 month and 2-3 weeks
3rd stage: 2 weeks
Cocoon stage: 1 month
Kaiju stage: 2.5 months
Post Kaiju stage: 5 days
That's what I have so far, and I think that's all the main info I have. I haven't thought of their design yet fully, but I'll get there when I get there.
Just gonna tag @develation because their Titan AU is the inspiration for this. (Also, I noticed that there were more similarities to your Titan!AU than I thought. I just reread the story where Cross first turns into a Titan yesterday and noticed the similarities with the magic storage and some of the other symptoms. Granted there are differences as well, like no partial transformations before the cocooning stage, but still just want to check if you're cool with it, but I can change some things if needed.)
